보건의료 주민참여의 정의와 전략에 대한 연구 (Definition and Strategy of Community Involvement in Health)

  • Community involvement is to be the keystone of primary health care, Unfortunately, efforts to promote it failed in many countries. Author inquired into the reasons why such efforts fail, and the alternative strategies for effectively promoting it in Korean situation today. In doing so, the concept of community involvement is clarified as an amalgamation of two different concepts; one is that of the community development, and the other is that of approaches for overcoming the alienation of the people from the health care process. Stategies of community involvement in Korea so far followed the line of the community development, e.g. village health worker. It loses, however, the feasibility as Korea has experinced so cial and economic developpment. The strategies of the second line of thought is now more feasible; empowering the people by providing more information and enhancing comitment to health, improving acceptabilty of community involvemt on the part of the health professionals and the bureaucrats, and building the mechanism of community involvement into the health policy-making process.

해산물 소비에 영향을 미치는 건강몰입, 태도, 지각된 행동통제와 행동의도의 인과효과 평가 (Measuring the Causal Effects of Health Involvement, Attitude, Perceived Behavioral Control and Intention on Seafood Consumption)

  • The purpose of this study was to measuring the effects of health involvement, attitude, perceived behavioral control (PBC), behavioral intention on seafood consumption. A total of 235 questionnaires were completed. Structural equation model was used to measure the causal relationships among constructs. Results of the study demonstrated that the structural analysis result for the data also indicated excellent model fit. The direct effect of health involvement on attitude was statistically significant. The direct effects of health involvement, attitude and PBC on consumption were statistically significant. As expected, attitude, PBC and behavioral intention had significant direct effects on consumption. Moreover, health involvement had a significant indirect effect on behavioral intention through attitude and PBC. Health involvement also had a significant indirect effect on consumption through attitude, PBC and behavioral intention. Attitude and PBC had significant indirect effects on consumption through behavioral intention. In conclusion, based on structural analysis, a model was proposed of interrelations among health involvement, attitude, PBC, behavioral intention and seafood consumption. Other variables(sensory variable, habit, norm etc) may be incorporated to form models that consist of new antecedent and consequence pairs.

  • The purpose of this study was to assess the causal relationships of attitude toward fish eating, health involvement, convenience, fish consumption and age. A total of 235 questionnaires were completed. Structural equation model was used to assess the causal relationships among constructs. Results of the study demonstrated that the structural equation analysis result for the data also indicated excellent model fit. The influences of age on health involvement and convenience were statistically significant. The influences of health involvement on attitude toward fish eating and fish consumption behavior were statistically significant. The influence of convenience on fish consumption behavior were statistically significant. Moreover, the age had a significant indirect effect on attitude toward fish eating through health involvement. The age also had a significant indirect effect on fish consumption behavior through convenience.

보건소 간호사의 직무몰입 분석 (Analysis of the Public Health Nurses' Job Involvement)

  • This study was carried out to explore the direction of job involvement of public health nurses and explore the way for improving services of public health center in Korea. The subjects were consisted of 164 nurses who were working at public health centers in Chonbuk. The data were collected by self-reporting questionnaire from Jan. 15 to Jan. 27, 1996. The instrument used in this study was Likert-type scale which Job Involvement Scale developed by Kanungo. The questionnaires of organizational and job characteristic were made through reviewing literatures. The data were analyzed by frequency, percentage, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, and Pearson's correlation coefficient with SPSSPC+ program. Major findings were as follows : 1. Mean scores for job involvement were 3.0879 on a 5 point scale. 2. In the personal variables, professional experience(t=-2.18, p=.031), position(t=2.34, p=.021), and age(F=-1.94, p=.038) were statistically significant in job involvement. 3. The variables to job characteristic were statistically significant in job involvement: job challenge (r=.4785, p=.000), role ambiguity (r=-.3141, p=.000), task significance (r=.2714, p=.000), and role conflict(r=-.2166, p=.003). 4. The variables to organizational characteristic were statistically significant in job involvement : formalization(r=.3184, p=.000) and human centered organizational characteristic (r=.2450, p=.001).

생선 소비와 연령의 관계에 미치는 생선 섭취태도, 건강몰입과 편의성의 매개효과 평가 (Measuring the Mediated Effects of Attitude toward Fish Eating, Health Involvement and Convenience on the Relationship between Fish Consumption and Age)

The attitude and convenience played no mediating role in the relationship between consumption and involvement.

채소 소비와 건강 관심의 관계를 조절하는 음식 몰입과 음식 신공포증의 효과 평가 (Measuring the Moderating Effects of Food Involvement and Food Neophobia in the Relationships between Vegetable Consumption and Health Concern)

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the effects of food involvement and food neophobia moderating the relationships between vegetable consumption and health concern. The questionnaires with the items to measure constructs of health concern, food involvement, food neophobia and vegetable consumption were completed by 290 subjects in Jeonnam area. Moderated regression analysis was used to measure the relationships between variables. To test validity and reliability of constructs, factor analysis and Cronbach's $\alpha$ were used in this study. Results of the study demonstrated that the result of the analysis of the data also indicated excellent model fit. The main effects and interaction effects of health concern, food involvement and food neophobia on vegetable consumption were statistically significant. Moreover, the effect of health concern on vegetable consumption was statistically significant at all levels of food involvement and food neophobia, except when food involvement and food neophobia were high. The present findings may be particularly relevant to interventions to promote healthy eating among adults.

Health involvement had considerable effects on attitude and intention, which were statistically significant. The effects of attitude and PBC on intention were also statistically significant. Futhermore, the effects of attitude, PBC, and intention on consumption were statistically significant. As expected, intention had a significant effect on consumption. Moreover, health involvement had significant indirect effects on intention through attitude and PBC. Attitude had a significant indirect effect on consumption through intention. PBC also had a significant indirect effect on consumption through intention. By developing and testing conceptual models that integrated the relationship among variables such as health involvement and attitude, along with seafood consumption behavior, this study approaches a deeper understanding of how perceptions, on the importance of a healthy diet and other factors, influence consumption behavior.

건강지향 메뉴선택속성이 웰빙레스토랑 고객 행동의도에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 - 음식관여도, 신뢰의 조절효과를 중심으로 - (The Effects of Health-related Menu Choice Attributes on Customer Behavioral Intentions at Well-being Restaurants - The Moderating Roles of Food Involvement and Trust -)

  • This study aimed to identify the effects of health-related menu choice attributes on customer behavioral intentions at well-being restaurants and analyze the moderating effects of food involvement and trust, which can influence customer preference and their intentions to visit well-being restaurants. This study designed a survey, and 351 respondents who have eaten at well-being restaurants completed the questionnaire. Exploratory factor analyses were conducted to identify underlying dimensions related to health-related menu choice attributes, food involvement, and customer behavioral intentions toward well-being restaurants. The three factors regarding health-related menu choice attributes and the three factors related to food involvement were identified. In order to test the relationships between health-related menu choice attributes and behavioral intentions as well as to investigate the moderating effects of food involvement and trust, hierarchical regression analyses were conducted. Results indicated that the three factors of health-related menu choice attributes were significantly and positively related to behavioral intentions. Among food involvement factors, dining environment and cooking were significantly related to behavioral intentions toward well-being restaurants. Trust had a significant influence on behavioral intentions. Results showed that food involvement and trust could moderate the effects of health-related menu choice attributes on behavioral intentions toward well-being restaurants.

  • The purpose of this study was to measure the causal relationships among fish consumption behavior, attitude towards fish eating, health involvement, perceived convenience, and age. A total of 235 questionnaires were completed. A structural equation model was used to measure the causal effects of the constructs. The results of the study demonstrated that the structural analysis results were an excellent model fit for the data. The influence of age on attitude towards fish eating, health involvement, and perceived convenience was statistically significant. As expected, attitude towards fish eating, health involvement, and perceived convenience had significant effects on fish consumption behavior. Moreover, age had a significant indirect effect on fish consumption behavior through health involvement. Age also had a significant indirect effect on fish consumption behavior through perceived convenience. By developing and testing conceptual models that integrate the relationships among age, psychological variables, and fish consumption behavior, this study may offer a deeper understanding of the complex relationships among the variables. A greater understanding of these complex relationships can improve the managerial diagnoses of problems and the opportunities for different marketing strategies, including product development and marketing communications.

노인의 영성과 종교 활동이 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 영향 (The Impact of Spirituality and Religious Involvement on the Relationship of Health Status with Life Satisfaction and Depression of the Elderly in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 서울과 춘천에 거주하는 노인 1,409명을 대상으로 노인의 영성과 종교 활동이 생활만족도와 우울에 영향을 미치며, 동시에 노인의 건강상태가 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 감소시키는 효과가 있는지를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 선행연구에서 노인의 건강수준, 생활만족도와 우울, 영성과 종교 활동은 성별에 따라 일관되게 유의미한 차이가 나타나 성별에 따른 영향도 포함하였다. 건강상태는 만성질환의 수로 측정하였고, 생활만족도는 PGCMS를, 우울은 CES-D를 적용하였다. 영성은 IE종교성 척도를 활용하였고, 종교활동은 종교모임에 참여하는 빈도로 측정하였다. 단계별 다중회귀분석을 적용하여 분석한 결과, 노인의 영성은 생활만족도와 우울에 영향을 미치지 않으나 건강상태가 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 부정적인 영향을 감소시키는 효과를 지니고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 종교 활동은 노인의 생활만족도에는 영향을 미치지 않는 반면 우울에는 영향을 미치며, 건강상태가 생활만족도와 우울에 미치는 영향을 감소하는 효과가 있는 것으로 분석되었다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 노인복지의 실천적 함의와 향후 연구를 위한 제안을 제시했다.
