Many healing programs regard successful healing as the cure of the presenting physical and emotional problems. To heal present broken heart on a smart environment, we need to know states of mind. We also have to need psychoanalytic healing that cure mind caused. It is necessary to consider a more comprehensive view of healing that incorporates not only physical healing but mental healing. For this, we analyze through retrospective review from existing researches and healing programs. We obtain psychological and emotional factors about negative side effects on a smart environment. Throughout this study we draw upon factors of psychology and emotion to represent pictures by projective methods such as visual representation. That pictures is being used in developing the digital workbook for mind healing. We look at the possibility of psychological therapy from negative side effects causing converts into digital forms which have fixed scales on a smart environment.

Objectives: Despite advances in maxillofacial surgery, impaired bone healing remains a concern for surgical teams. Many studies have evaluated the effects of sildenafil and pentoxifylline on bone healing. However, their effects on healing of bone fractures have not been well investigated. This study aimed to assess the effects of the phosphodiesterase inhibitors sildenafil and pentoxifylline on healing of mandibular fractures in rats. Materials and Methods: A total of 60 rats were randomly divided into six groups of 10. Mandibular fracture was induced in all rats. After the surgical procedure, group C1 received saline, group S1 received 10 mg/kg sildenafil and group P1 received 50 mg/kg pentoxifylline. The rats were sacrificed after 1 week. Groups C4, S4, and P4 received pharmaceutical therapy as in groups C1, S1, and P1 but were sacrificed after 4 weeks. The samples then underwent histological analysis. Results: The mean rate of bone healing of mandibular fractures in groups S1 and P1 was significantly higher than in group C1 at 1 week (P<0.001). The mean rate of bone healing of mandibular fractures in group P1 was higher than in group S1 at 1 week (P=0.04). The mean rate of bone healing of mandibular fractures in groups S4 (P=0.001) and P4 (P=0.004) was significantly higher than in group C4 at 4 weeks, but no significant difference was noted in the rate of healing between groups P4 and S4 (P=0.53). Conclusion: Sildenafil and pentoxifylline can be used as adjuncts to enhance bone healing in rats.
Background: Ginseng has been used as a traditional medicine and functional cosmetic ingredients for many years. Recent studies have focused on the potential biological effects of the ginseng berry and its ingredients. (+)-Syringaresinol (SYR) is enriched in ginseng berry and its beneficial effects on the skin have been recently reported. However, little is known about the its effects on the wound healing process of skin. Methods: Here, we evaluated the skin wound healing effect of (+)-SYR using the human fibroblast Hs68 cell and ex vivo pig and human skin tissue model. Scratch wound test and hydrogen peroxide (HPO) induce chemical wound model were employed. Results: (+)-SYR promoted the migration and proliferation of Hs68 cells without significant cytotoxicity at the tested concentrations. Especially, in ex vivo pig and human skin tissue, HPO-induced chemical wound was recovered almost completely by (+)-SYR. In line with the finding in Hs68, the protein expression levels of TGF-β and PCNA, a proliferation marker were increased, demonstrating the beneficial effects of (+)-SYR on skin wound repair. Conclusion: Collectively, we demonstrated that (+)-SYR from ginseng berry, can enhance the wound healing effect by accelerating cell proliferation and skin regeneration, suggesting the potential utility of (+)-SYR for skin wound repair.
Poly-${\gamma}$-glutamic acid (${\gamma}$-PGA) is a natural edible polypeptide in which glutamate is polymerized via ${\gamma}$-amide linkages. First, we assessed the eye irritancy potential of ${\gamma}$-PGA in rabbits. Additionally, we studied the effects of ${\gamma}$-PGA on corneal wound healing, due to the anti-inflammatory properties and water retaining abilities of ${\gamma}$-PGA. In this study, the effects of ${\gamma}$-PGA on corneal wound healing after an alkali burn were evaluated. Thirty eyes wounded by alkali burning in 30 white rabbits were divided into three groups: group A was treated with 0.1% 5,000 kDa ${\gamma}$-PGA for 2 days; group B was treated with 0.1% hyaluronic acid; and group C was not treated, as a control. The area of corneal epithelial defect was examined at 12, 24, 30, 36, 42, and 48 h after corneal alkali wounding to determine initial wound healing. We found that ${\gamma}$-PGA promoted corneal wound healing, compared with controls, and showed similar effects to hyaluronic acid. These results indicate that ${\gamma}$-PGA stimulates corneal wound healing by an anti-inflammatory effect and enhancing cell migration and cell proliferation. ${\gamma}$-PGA is a promising biomaterial that may be a substitute for hyaluronic acid in corneal wound healing treatment.
Bone remodeling results from the combined process of bone resorption and new bone formation which is regulated in part by some of Dexamethasone related proliferation & mineralization of cultured bone cell and polypeptide growth factors such as platelet derived growth factor(PDGF), which has been known to be an important local regulator of bone cell activity and participate in normal bone remodeling. To evaluate the effects of Dex and PDGF on bony healing of calvarial defect in rats, 10 ng/ml PDGF were applied on P group and 10 ng/ml PDGF and $10^7$ M Dex were applied PD group. 4 rats in each group were sacrificed at 7, 14. 21 days after operation respectively, and the tissue blocks were prepared for light microscope with H-E for evaluation of overall healing, with TRAP(tartrate resistant acid phosphatase) for evaluation of osteoclastic activity and with immunohistochemical staining for macrophages. The results were as follows : 1. In all group, healing aspects were progressed from 7 days to 21 days in soft and bony tissue, but complete repair were not observed in bony defect 2. PDGF and control group were showed similar bony healing aspect , but bony healing in combination of PDGF-BB and Dex were observed slower aspect compared to PDGF and control group from early healing times. 3. There were no significant difference on activities of osteoclast and macrophages in bony healing between control and experimental group In conclusion, PDGF were not influenced on bony healing of defect and combination of PDGF-BB and Dex were showed slower healing through early healing times. it was considered that Dex compared to PDGF did influenced on early hone formation factors in healing period
Wound healing is a complex and highly organized biological response to injury that results in the loss of tissue integrity. Our particular interest was propolis, traditional used as an antimicrobial and an anti-inflammatory agent. The purpose of this study was to see the effects of propolis on healing of the laser induced wounds and the level of collagen formation. 808 nm laser (20 J) was irradiated on the back of rats. Irradiated wounds were divided into gel control and 6 experimental groups (3 and 5% of different three kinds of propolis). Gel type of propolis (supplied by Seoul Propolis Co., Daejeon, Korea) in water based were applied on the laser wound once daily for 14 days. One fourth of rats were sacrificed on $3^{rd}$, $7^{th}$, $10^{th}$, and $14^{th}$ day and each wound was evaluated for degree of wound healing and the level of collagen formation. Healing of wound was evaluated by measuring and comparing the width and depth of the wounds. The levels of collagen were increased in 3 and 5% gel groups comparing to control on $3^{rd}$ day and the collagen level were increased more on $7^{th}$ day. Wounds of the experimental groups showed better healing in width comparing to the healing of the control. The results of this study demonstrated that propolis accelerated healing of wounds induced by laser irradiation and good collagen formation.
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of 3 day Forests healing programs for cognitive improvement, which consists of helpful contents of Korean medicine. Methods : This study examined the effects of forests healing for mild cognitive impairment patients, who visited a Korean medicine hospital neuropsychiatry clinic for outpatients. The Forests healing programs for cognitive improvement was run with 24 participants, in which 9 of them quit in the middle of the program, so excluded in data analysis. The Forests healing programs for cognitive improvement was consisted of 3 day helpful Korean medicine contents. The primary outcome measurement was a Computerized Neurocognitive Test (CNT), which measured the cognitive functions with computer programs. Results : The results of this study showed that CNT scores were not significantly changed after 3 day forests healing. General psychological states, including depression, anxiety, and anger, were also checked. Among them, depressive mood significantly improved. Quality of life (QOL) was also enhanced after 3 day program. These results indicate that the 3 day Forests healing programs for cognitive improvement was effective for depressive mood and QOL of mild cognitive impairment patients, but not enough for cognitive functions directly. Conclusions : The 3 day Forests healing programs for cognitive improvement were shown to be an effective intervention in improving some aspects of mild cognitive impairment patients, including depressive mood, and QOL. We suggest that repeated participation of this program can enhance cognitive function of mild cognitive impairment patients.
The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of a lifestyle consisting of a health oriented diet and personal motivation toward health improvement on an individual's desire to participate in condolence or "healing" -workshops and programs. In order to examine the influence of the "health diet" and motivation, the "health diet" lifestyle was classified into nutrition pursuit factors, psychological factors, food safety factors, and health conscious consumption factors. Personal motivation was categorized into perceived benefits, environmental factors and the individual's desire for happiness. Empirical analysis showed that nutrition pursuit factors had an impact on perceived benefits and the desire for happiness. Psychological aspect factors had a significant influence on perceived benefits, environmental factors and the desire for happiness. However, food safety factors and health conscious consumption factors did not have an effect on individual motivation to improve health. Regarding personal motivation toward health improvement on the desire for "healing", perceived benefits and environmental factors had significant influence. However, the individual's desire for happiness did not influence the demand for "healing". Regarding the effect of a "health diet" on the desire for "healing", only the psychological aspects of a "health diet" had any significant effects on the desire for "healing". The results from this study can help local organizations or service companies that provide "healing" programs with developing effective marketing strategies that could lead to greater customer satisfaction. Especially, the significant influence of psychological aspects of a "health diet" on the demand for "healing" is noteworthy in that this could play a key role in establishing a more effective marketing strategy to attract increasing numbers of consumers using health conscious diets.
In this study, 594 questionnaires administered to men and women residing in the capital metropolitan area who work night shifts were analyzed in order to study the effect of health information cognition on healing needs in accordance with the type of food selection criteria of the night worker. The results of confirmatory factor analysis in deriving food selection type identified four categories, a safety seeking type, a food exploratory type, a habitual seeking type, and a rational type, and the cognition types on health information were classified into physical cognition and psychological cognition. The need for healing, which was the investigated factor, was found to have a high correlation between questionnaire items with high reliable consistency. The results of this study were as follows. First, the food selection types of safety seeking type and habitual food seeking type had significant positive effects on the cognitive level of physical health information, and food exploratory type and habitual seeking type had significant positive effects on the cognitive level of psychological health information. In addition, it was shown that food exploratory type and rational type had significant positive effects on healing needs. As a result of this study, it was found that the cognition level of physical and psychological information was different according to food selection type, and the higher the cognitive level, the higher the healing needs. In particular, the result that the level of psychological health information significantly affected healing needs signifies that there is a demand to develop programs and menus that satisfy various needs related to healing and recovery from fatigue. In addition, further interest and study on the health and healing of night workers are required.
Epidermal growth factor(EGF), a potential healing agent for wounds and burns, has been formulated to topical gels with the hydrophilic polymers, Carbopol 934P. Physicochemical c haracteristics of the aqueous gels were evaluated by rheological properties and pH changes on storage. The gels were relatively stable at $4^{\circ}C$ and room temperature showing no changes in pH for two weeks, and revealed the rheogram of shear thinning plastic flow with the yield values in the range of 40 to 70dyne/$cm^2$. In vivo healing effects of different gel formulations have been compared with water-soluble and oleaginous ointments in full-thickness wound mouse model. The gel systems resulted in better wound healing effects than the other ointments. Furthermore, liposomal Carbopol gel has been developed by the addition of EGF-containing liposomal suspension into the Carbopol gel. The enhanced wound healing effects have been observed in the liposomal gel system, compared to the other gels and conventional ointments.
