용접과 밀링을 이용한 쾌속조형법의 응용과 열변형 해석 (Application of Rapid prototyping for welding and milling, and Heat deformation for FEM)

  • Rapid prototyping for welding and milling is a hybrid approach that makes use of welding as additive and conventional milling as subtractive technique. For two years this concept has been used to verify manufacturing mold and mechanical parts successfully. In latest new fabrication methods. For example, manufacturing mold for two sort of materials and shell fabrication, have been applied to the concept in KIST. This methods will be an alternative proposal in rapid prototyping. Metal deposition for welding causes the part to deform. It is a handicap in our proceeding. To overcome this problem, in this paper, we represent an optimal welding path for FEM analysis. Eight paths are tried to this and the value of deformation is average and standard deviation in four points'. Then we can compare with eight cases and select the optimal path.

자하거약침요법을 병행한 복합 한방치료의 현훈 치험례 (A Case Report of Vertigo by Korean Medical Treatment with Hominis Placenta Pharmacopunture)

  • Objectives : The purpose of this study is to report the clinical effects of Hominis Placenta Pharmacopunture(HPP) on Vertigo. Methods : A 82-year-old female patient whose chief complaint was Vertigo was treated with Placenta Pharmacopunture at CV6 and GB21, twelves times for a month. Acupuncture and herbal medicine were added depending on the symptoms. Laboratory test was taken and Korean Version of Dizziness Handicap Inventory was examined before and after each treatment. Results : After the treatments, the symptoms were improved. Conclusions : Hominis Placenta Pharmacopuncture may be an efficacious therapy for Iron Deficiency Anemia.

정상인과 후두질환 환자에서 Glottal Area Waveform의 차이에 관한 연구 (The Comparison of Glottal Area Waveform between Normal Person and Patient with Vocal Lesions)

  • Background and Objectives : Glottal area waveform(GAW) shows the plot of glottal area versus time through the 1 cycle. This study is designed to see how it can be applied to laryngeal patients. Material and Methods : A GAW analysis was peformed on 11 patients before and after surgery and 22 persons without laryngeal problems were recruited for control. Acoustic and aerodynamic analysis with VHI(voice handicap index) evaluation were performed. Results. Significant changes in baseline offset, gross closing rate and VHI were observed postoperatively. Other parameters were changed but insignificant. Conclusion : GAW maybe used to evaluate patient with voice problems.

  • This paper proposes a single sign-on scheme in which a mobile user offers his credential information to a home network running the OSGi (Open Service Gateway Initiative) service platform, to obtain user authentication and control a remote device through a mobile device using this authentication scheme, based on SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language). Especially by defining the single sign-on profile to overcome the handicap of the low computing and memory capability of the mobile device, we provide a clue to applying automated user authentication to control a remote device via a mobile device for distributed mobile environments such as a home network based on OSGi.

  • Automatic control system using microcomputer that have been studied in greenhouse, however, it was very difficult operation with success due to handicap for a various conditions and cultivated plants. This study was performed in order to develop of the basic program and hardware system for automatic control in greenhouse, such as automatic supplying of water, liquefied fertilizer solution and chemical solution. The results were summarized as follows. 1. The program for soil moisture control used by the switch type tensiometer was well operated. 2. The proximity switch was applied as well to water level control but it was very expensive, so low-priced sensor has to be developed. 3. The water meter was not excellent for mixing control of liquefied fertilizer, chemical and water, so water meter for only agricalture has to be developed. 4. Interface system for this study was suited to the developed controller. 5. Automatic control system to supply for water, liquefied fertilizer and chemical solution that was well operated as a fundamental study for product of controller.

심도 청각장애 성인의 비성도 및 강도 (Nasalance and Intensity of Profound Hearing-Impaired Adults)

  • This study investigates the differences in nasalance across handicap, gender, and vowels and the correlation between nasal energy and oral energy both of which are used to compute nasalance. For this study, 20 hearing-impaired adults and 20 normal hearing adults as a control group were asked to read 7 Korean vowels (/$\alpha$, $\Lambda$, o, u, ɯ, i, $\varepsilon$/). Subjects' readings were recorded by NasalView and analyzed by Praat. Results showed that the hearing impaired group (HL) has a significantly higher nasalance than the normal hearing group(NH), and that there was a significant positive correlation between nasal energy and oral energy. A higher nasalance of the hearing impaired group seems to be due to an improper velopharyngeal control which is caused by lack of a proper auditory feedback.

  • This study intended to provide basic materials for establishing a diversity of plans for assisting childcare centers, by examining differences between self-evaluation and professional evaluation in childcare centers with less than 21 children. Data were collected from 7 childcare centers to measure evaluation in five categories of accreditation. Significant differences were found between self-evaluation and professional evaluation in "child care curriculum" and in "interaction between teachers and children." These results point up the handicap of heavy dependence on self-evaluation as it leads to self-assistance, with limited access to new ideas. On the other hand, "circuit assistance" where a consortium of 2~3 different childcare centers advise and assist each other could effectively stimulate a more professional outlook.

  • N-IR spectroscopy technology is very useful. And, the technology has wide application range. In the range, we know that single beam type silica analyzer has some handicap. So we were studied Splitted beam type silica analyzer. This dissertation have been discuss about system structure, system fundamentals and performance test. At the test, we were study in the spectral interference of NH3. We know that existing system had some problem. It is structural frailties of single beam type. Therefore we were study for Splitted beam type structure. And we obtain a good result. We have $\pm$5% accuracy and 0.5 ppb level measuring range. But, we have a question. It is ppt level measuring technology by the laser beam spectroscopy.

  • This study created a computerized information system of the collected job analysis data and analyzed the computerized job analysis data to derive critical job factors. Based on the ratings on each critical job factor, possible employment opportunities for the various types of disability could be derived according to the match between job condition and handicap condition. The results can be utilized by the Employment and Vocational Training Administration to expand both the counselor and counselee's perspectives about job possibilities and job requirements.

지주막하출혈 수술 이후 발생한 이명을 소양인 흉격열증으로 진단한 치험 1례 (A case Report of Tinnitus after Subarachnoid Hemorrhage(SAH) Operation Diagnosed as Soyangin Hyunggyeok yeoljeung)

  • Objectives This case study reports patient diagnosed as Soyangin Hyunggyeok yeoljeung with tinnitus, headache and sleep discomfort after Subarachnoid Hemorrhage(SAH) had treated with HyungBangSabaek-San.Methods The patient suffering from tinnitus, sleep discomfort had taken HyungBangSabaek-San from the first to the end three times a day. We measure tinnitus by Tinnitus Handicap Inventory(THI) and observe symptoms change using Visual Anlaogue Scale(VAS).Results The symptoms had been steadily decreased and quality of life had increased also. Headache and constipation had been improved in a week and tinnitus and chest discomfort had decreased next week. At last, patient complained symptoms slightly.Conclusions HyungBangSabaek-San a is treatment of Soyangin Hyunggyeok yeoljeung and may be considered as a treatment of tinnitus.
