In this paper, the method to modify a surface through three dimensional vector field technique is presented, In this method two guide surfaces are required as a shape reference. One is the shape of original surface, the other is the target shape for the result surface. Proposed method is consists of two steps. The first step is to calculate the mapping points on original and target guide surfaces so that the shape error may be minimized. The second step is to construct the smooth vector field from mapping points of the first step. The developed method is applied to shoe design system which makes the surface modeling very easy and effective.

In this study, to develop a flash-less die for forming of shoe-outsole, experiments and forming analysis were carried out. In order to reduce the extra-materials, of feet method and mass distribution method are used in the preform design. To improve the accuracy of contact surface of dies, the contact status of dies are measured by using the pressure film. The vertical pressing die structure and the guide-gutter system have been developed for the discharge of extra-materials and re-pressing. By the investigation, flash of shoe-outsole was considerably reduced.
Objective : The purpose of this study was to analyze the effects of the windlass mechanism in trail-walking shoe prototypes that can effectively support arches. A study of these effects should help with the development of a first-rate trail-walking shoe development guide for the distribution of quality information to consumers. Methods : The subjects were ten adult males who volunteered to participate in the study. Shoes from three companies, which will be referred to as Company S (Type A), Company M (Type B), and Company P (Type C), were selected for the experiment. The subjects wore these shoes and walked at a speed of 4.2 km/h, and as they tested each shoe, the contact area, maximum pressure average, and surface force were all measured. Results : Shoe Type A showed a contact area of $148.78{\pm}4.31cm^2$, Type B showed an area of $145.74{\pm}4.1cm^2$, and Type C showed an area of $143.37{\pm}4.57cm^2$ (p<.01). Shoe Type A demonstrated a maximum average pressure of $80.80{\pm}9.92kPa$, Type B an average of $85.72{\pm}11.01kPa$, and Type C an average of $89.12{\pm}10.88bkPa$ (p<.05). Shoe Type A showed a ground reaction force of $1.13{\pm}0.06%BW$, Type B a force of $1.16{\pm}0.04%BW$, and Type C a force of $1.16{\pm}0.03%BW$ (p<.05). Conclusion : The Type A trail-walking shoe, which was designed with a wide arch from the center of the forefoot to the front of the rearfoot showed excellent performance, however, more development and analysis of the windlass mechanism for a variety of arch structures is still necessary.

Elongation rolling process is an intermediate process to make the uniform thickness and uniform surface roughness during producing seamless pipes. The thickness and surface roughness of seamless pipes are generally affected by the distance of rolls and guide shoes, the roll shape, and its cross angle. In this study, finite element analysis for shape forming process is based on the analysis model of elongation rolling mill with guide shoes. This paper shows how the cross angle of the roll, the rolling rpm, and the distance of the guide shoe influence on the outer diameter and the thickness of seamless pipes. The rolling rpm did not give much influence on outer diameter.
The initial impact at foot strike is produced by a slider type mechanical model, which can be measured using a force platform to evaluate various shoes. The lower extremity and foot motion was filmed by a 16mm high speed movie camera and several points on the rear half of the shoe and those near the trochanter and the lateral epicondyle were digitized to provide the linear and angular positions and velocities during impact. With these observed kinematics, a slider type foot strike simulator composed of guide rail and sliding dummy is designed. The simulator system makes the artificial foot of the dummy with running shoe on it to follow the foot strike motion. The dummy has the relevant mass-spring-damper system modeled after McMahon's. The motion of the model is drived by the gravity force and the generated motion alone with the ground reaction forces are monitored by the same procedures afore mentioned producing the initial foot strike impact similar to the onto observed in human gait.

Patient with alveolar abscess due to dental caries with severe alveolar bone loss, severe tooth mobility, root resorption need extraction of tooth because it is impossible to carry out pulp treatment and restoration by using conventional method. Early loss of primary molar might cause masticatory interference, extrusion of opposing tooth, problem in maintaining space and interference on eruption of permanent tooth. Especially, early loss of primary second molar before the eruption of permanent first molar might cause space closure by mesially erupted permanent first molar and impaction of second premolar. In such a case, distal shoe space maintainer and removable space regaining appliance was the first choice of treatment. But, distal shoe space maintainer need precise adaptation and might cause chronic inflammation if the oral hygiene is poor. In a case using removable space regaining appliance, patient's cooperation is most important. If the distal root of primary second molar is comparably sound and alveolar abscess with alveolar bone loss is localized at mesial root, hemisection should be carried out for precise guide to eruption of the permanent first molar, restoration of masticatory fuction and solution to the discomfort of the patient

A Recently elevator accidents were occurred and increased due to carelessness of user and violent behavior. The accident of door detachment in elevator platform by electronic motor scooter show a example of safety concerns and insensibility for safety awareness. In this report, we review the cause of accident of door detachment in elevator platform by electronic motor scooter, and show some suggestions of preventing from the safety concerns about this case.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to compare the changes in the contact area, maximum pressure, maximum mean pressure, and maximum force of functional insoles and general insoles when walking. Methods: Foot pressure was measured by the ignition of functional insoles and general insoles on Company N shoes. The foot pressure was measured using a precision pressure distribution meter (Pedar - X mobile system, Novel, Germany). Each insole sensor contained 99 independent cells and was inserted between the foot and the shoe. A wireless Bluetooth-type program was used to measure the pressure detected by the measuring insoles. In order to eliminate adaptation and fatigue caused by wearing the guide during the experiment, sufficient rest was taken between each experiment, and the wearing order was randomly selected. Results: Functional insole significantly increased the forefoot and midfoot (medial, lateral) (p<0.05), while total foot, forefoot, and rearfoot peak pressure significantly decreased (p < 0.05) compared to the general insole. Conclusion: In the functional insole, a high contact area was measured inside, even in the middle of the foot, leading to a proper change in foot pressure. It was confirmed that the contact area was reduced and dispersion occurred well. In addition, it was found that the maximum pressure in the front and back of the entire foot was reduced, so the weight pressure dispersion in the functional insole was evenly distributed, and the maximum average pressure change was similar.

The Taekwondo is the martial arts where possibility thousand Ul of history and the ancestor is put in with specific martial arts of our nation. Also it practiced with the self defense martial arts which rules over the body and a mind and it came, the country from crisis of imminent danger won a victory with the good state affair alcoholic beverage and it was come. The ancestors condition anger the Taekwondo where the soul is put in were born again with martial arts of the world and they became and the world-wide conference was adopted with the Olympic formal item which becomes the historian of of course sports and became the martial arts in the world-wide center. In like this features martial arts even from each country condition anger and the sports raises the phase of the country is racing with of course martial arts. Specially from China it makes the right shoe which is a Chinese martial arts with condition item and sports anger the features of the martial arts origination to do and there is a possibility of seeing the features which in the succession nose sleeping martial arts perforation defends it concentrates. The martial arts perforation character is letting in religion and philosophy thought of the Orient. Confucianism and Buddhism, it puts in the teaching of friendship thoughts and heaven and earth positive and negative principles, five lines and eight divination signs. Features of like this perforation our ancestors the positive and negative principles where the philosophy of the Orient is put in, there is a possibility of searching from life and the Taekwondo which it does with at five events together. With history of the ancestor it breathes together and all Taekwondo operation every one by one it puts in the thought of our ancestors as well. The some branch it tried to listen to the representative example which the feather holds hereupon in basic operation, the Taoist garment, the belt and width tax of Taekwondo. The flesh which is healthy in the spirit which is healthy holds the feather. Taekwondo Oh! as the true feelings one martial art which accomplishes the artificial flower of the dynamic thing and the static thing at end with the perforation essentially it is deep it will be able to confirm repeatedly fire tube characteristic.
