Purpose : This study was to develop a strategy for modeling future workforce projections to serve as a basis for analyzing annual supply of and demand for physical therapists across the South Korea into 2030. Methods : In-and-out movement model was used to project the supply of physical therapists. The demand was projected according to the demand-based method which consists of four-stages such as estimation of the utilization rate of the base year, forecasting of health care utilization of the target years, forecasting of the requirements of clinical physical therapists and non-clinical physical therapists based on the projected physical therapists. Results : Based on the current productivity standards, there will be oversupply of 39,007 to 40,875 physical therapists under the demand scenario of average rate in 2030, undersupply of 44,663 to 49,885 under the demand scenario of logistic model, oversupply of 16,378 to 19,100 under the demand scenario of logarithm, and oversupply of 18,185 to 20,839 under the demand scenario of auto-regressive moving average (ARIMA) model in 2030. Conclusion : The result of this projection suggests that the direction and degree of supply of and demand for physical therapists varied depending on physical therapists productivity and utilization growth scenarios. However, the need for introduction of a professional physical therapist system and the need to provide long-term care rehabilitation services are actively being discussed in entering the aging society. If community rehabilitation programs for rehabilitation of disabled people and the elderly are activated, the demand of physical therapists will increase, especially for elderly people. Therefore, healthcare policy should focus on establishing rehabilitation service infrastructure suitable for an aging society, providing high-quality physical therapy services, and effective utilization of physical therapists.
Despite the rapid growth of the mobile shopping market, major market participants are continuing to suffer operating losses due to severe competition. To solve this problem, the mobile shopping market requires research to improve customer satisfaction and customer loyalty rather than excessive competition. However, the existing studies have limits to reflect the direct needs of customers because they extract the factors on the basis of the Technology Acceptance Model and the literature study. In this study, to reflect the direct requirements of users of mobile shopping Apps, we derived concretely and various factors influencing customer satisfaction through a topic analysis using user reviews. And then we assessed the importance of derived factors to customer satisfaction and analyzed the effects of customer satisfaction on customer complaints and customer loyalty on a structural equation model based on the American customer satisfaction index. We expect that our framework linking a topic analysis and a structural equation model is to be applicable to studies on the customer satisfaction of other mobile services.
Purpose Recently, social interest in the convergence research is at its peak. However, contrary to the keen interest in convergence research, an infrastructure that makes it easier to recruit researchers from other fields is not yet well established, which is why researchers are having considerable difficulty in carrying out real convergence research. In this study, we implemented a researcher recommendation system that helps researchers who want to collaborate easily recruit researchers from other fields, and we expect it to serve as a springboard for growth in the convergence research field. Design/methodology/approach In this study, we implemented a system that recommends proper researchers when users enter keyword in the field of research that they want to collaborate using word embedding techniques, word2vec. In addition, we also implemented function of keyword suggestions by using keywords drawn from LDA Topicmodeling Algorithm. Finally, the UI of the researcher recommendation system was completed by utilizing the collaborative messenger Slack to facilitate immediate exchange of information with the recommended researchers and to accommodate various applications for collaboration. Findings In this study, we validated the completed researcher recommendation system by ensuring that the list of researchers recommended by entering a specific keyword is accurate and that words learned as a similar word with a particular researcher match the researcher's field of research. The results showed 85.89% accuracy in the former, and in the latter case, mostly, the words drawn as similar words were found to match the researcher's field of research, leading to excellent performance of the researcher recommendation system.

This study utilized latent growth curve modeling to investigate the trajectories of adolescent life satisfaction changes in middle and high school students. The effects of self-esteem, career identity, school learning activity, gender, and household earnings on life satisfaction changes were examined. Data was obtained from the Korea Child Youth Panel Survey (KYCPS), a longitudinal study following students for 7 years. Year 3-6 data was utilized. Results found that the life satisfaction trajectory resulted as a quadratic model in which individual differences were significant. Second, school learning activity used as a time variant variable had a positive significant effect on life satisfaction each year. Third, gender and self-esteem as time invariant variables had significant effects on initial levels while self-esteem had effects on the slope and quadratic change. Further implications and research issues are discussed.
Purpose : This study can provide various implications for the franchisors to expand activities related to franchise support or to develop andoperate an education program for foodservice franchise owners. Research design, data, and methodology : For those purpose, first, the literatureand literature related to the competency of domestic franchise owner were collected and reviewed through the Korea Education and Research Information Service (RISS). Second, the questionnaire was prepared based on the theoretical basis prepared through previous studies. Based onthe foodservice franchise owner's competency model presented by Kim & Lee (2019b), 13 franchise owner's competencies were marked with both 'What is' levels and 'What should be' levels. Therefore, the total questionnaire consists of 26 questions. Third, questionnaires were distributed and collected. This study used data from 55 surveys which were gathered from foodservice franchise owners in Seongnam-si. SPSS 25.0 was used to analyze the collected survey data. Descriptive and frequency analysis were conducted to analyze the demographic characteristics of the study subjects. Next, we conduct a t-test to analyze the difference between the level of 'What is' competencies by the franchise owners and the level of 'What should be' competencies. Descriptive statistics were used to derive the priorities of the 'What should be' competencies. The Locus for Focus model was used to derive the priorities of the required competencies. Result : Four competencies of team leadership, teamwork and cooperation, customer service, technical·professional·managerial expertise were found to be the first to be developed. Conclusions : The conclusions of this study are as follows. First, teamwork and cooperation competnecy, and team leadership competency, which are derived from the core competencies of foodservice franchise owners, are among the leadership competencies required as managers of organizations. Second, customer service competency and ttechnical·professional·managerial expertise competency derived from the core competencies of restaurant franchise owners belong to the job competencies. Third, the results of this study suggest that the foodservice franchisors will be able that will serve as a baseline to support the foodservice franchisors and franchise owners for sustainable mutual growth by encouraging their will and encouraging them to create results.
Objectives: The aims of this study are to examine the associations between marital satisfaction and life satisfaction among Korean retirees in later life and to test whether the degrees of associations increased over time. Method: Nationally representative Korean Longitudinal Study of Ageing data from wave 1 (in 2006) to wave 4 (in 2012) was utilized and retirees in later life (65-89 years old, N=402) were analyzed. Latent growth modeling (LGM) and model constraint were applied using Mplus 7.3. Age, sex, household income, subjective health, depressive symptoms and elapsed time after retirement were included as control variables. Results: Linear unconditional LGM fitted the data well and showed gradual decrease in life satisfaction. Conditional LGM revealed significant associations between marital satisfaction and life satisfaction from time 1 to time 4. According to model constraint test, the size of associations between marital satisfaction and life satisfaction did not change with time. Conclusions: To sum up these results, the associations between marital satisfaction and life satisfaction were significant and relatively stable over time among retirees in later life. This study suggests one's spouse is a fundamental component of social convoy among Korean retirees in later life. Therefore, intervention programs targeted toward enhancing marital relationships among retirees' couples will help them to live a better life.

Large-scale industrial facility structures continue to deteriorate due to the effects of operating and environmental conditions. The problems of these industrial facilities are potentially causing economic losses, environmental pollution, casualties, and national losses. Accordingly, in order to prevent disaster accidents of large structures in advance, the necessity of diagnosing structures using non-destructive inspection techniques is being highlighted. The defect occurrence, location and defect type of the structure are important parameters for predicting the remaining life of the structure, so continuous defect observation is very important. Recently, many researchers have been actively researching real-time monitoring technology to solve these problems. Structure Health Monitoring Inspection is a technology that can identify and respond to the occurrence of defects in real time, but there is a limit to check the degree of defects and the direction of growth of defects. In order to compensate for the shortcomings of these technologies, the importance of defect imaging techniques is emerging, and in order to find defects in large structures, a method of inspecting a wide range using guided ultrasonic is effective. The work presented here introduces a calculation for the shape factor for evaluation of the damaged area, as well as a variable β parameter technique to correct a damaged shape. Also, we perform research in modeling simulation and an experiment for comparison with a suggested inspection method and verify its validity. The curved structure image obtained by the advanced RAPID algorithm showed a good match between the defect area and the shape.
Background: This study aimed to investigate the effects of department satisfaction and career maturity on the perceived health status, relationship, and self-efficacy of dental hygiene college students based on Alderfer's existence-relationship-growth theory. Methods: We obtained convenience samples of dental hygiene students in Daejeon and Chungnam areas; 241 questionnaires were collected from 250 persons considering the dropout rate and used for the final analysis except for 9 careless responses. The differences in perceived health status, relationship, self-efficacy, department satisfaction, and career maturity according to general characteristics were analyzed using a t-test, one-way analysis of variance and Pearson's correlation coefficients. Moreover, structural equation modeling was performed to confirm the variables. GFI, AGFI,CFI, RMR, RMSEA, TLI, and NFI indices were calculated to verify the fitness of the path model. Results: There were significant differences in self-efficacy, department satisfaction, career maturity according to grade, and significant differences in academic performance for all variables except relationship. The school system also had a significant effect on department satisfaction. Perceived health status, relationship, self-efficacy, department satisfaction, and career maturity demonstrated statistically significant positive correlations (p<0.05). The factors affecting department satisfaction were relationship and self-efficacy. The indirect and total effects of perceived health status and relationship on career maturity were not statistically significant; however, the indirect and total effects of self-efficacy on career maturity were statistically significant. Conclusion: It is necessary to develop teaching methods according to student management plans for dental hygiene by comprehensively perceived health status, relationship, and self-efficacy affecting department satisfaction and career maturity.

Background: Correctional officers (COs) experience elevated rates of mental and physical ill-health as compared with other general industry and public safety occupations. The purpose of this study was to investigate demographic, mental health, job tenure, and work-family characteristics and their prospective association to burnout within and between jail officers during one year of new employment. Methods: In 2016, newly hired jail officers (N = 144) completed self-reported surveys across four time points in a one-year prospective study at a Midwestern United States urban jail. Linear mixed-effects and growth modeling examined how work-family conflict (W-FC) and depressive symptoms relate to perceptions of burnout over time. Results: Jail officer burnout increased and was related to rises in W-FC and depression symptoms. Within-person variance for W-FC (Bpooled = .52, p < .001) and depression symptoms (Bpooled = .06, p < .01) were significant predictors of burnout. Less time on the job remained a significant predictor of burnout across all analyses (Bpooled = .03, p < .001). Conclusions: Results from this study indicate that burnout increased during the first year of new employment; and increased W-FC, higher depression, and brief tenure were associated with burnout among jail COs. Future study of correctional workplace health is needed to identify tailored, multilevel interventions that address burnout and W-FC prevention and early intervention among COs.
It is necessary to assess and manage the different elements of the marine ecosystem, such as climate change, habitat, primary and secondary production, energy flow, food web, potential yield, and fishing, to maintain the health of the ecosystem as well as support sustainable development of fishery. We set up an ecosystem model around the Korean peninsula to produce scientific predictions necessary for the assessment and management of marine ecosystems and presented the usability of the model with scenario experiments. We used the Atlantis ecosystem model based on the marine food web; Atlantis is a three-dimensional end-to-end model that includes the information and processes within an entire system, from an abiotic environment to human activity. We input the ecological and biological parameters, such as growth, mortality, spawning, recruitment, and migration, to the Atlantis model via functional groups using existing research and local measurements. During the simulation period (2018-2019), we confirmed that the model reproduced the observed data reasonably and reflected the actual ecosystem characteristics appropriately. We thus identified the usability of a marine ecosystem model with experiments on different environmental change scenarios.
