Several segmentation algorithms have been proposed for DTM generation or building modeling from airborne LiDAR data. Three components are important for accurate segmentation: (i) the adjacent relationship of n-nearest points or mesh, etc. (ii) the effective decision parameters of height, slope, curvature, and plane condition, (iii) grouping methods. In this paper, we created the topology of point cloud data using the contour tree and implemented the region-growing Terrain and non-terrain points were classified correctly in the segmented data, which can be used also for feature classification.

Along with the international technology transfer market, as the domestic market grows, more professional technology analysts are needed and it became more necessary to investigate the qualification of those experts to cope with growing market. In this study, the current working condition of those experts is described, qualification system is analyzed and more realistic suggestions on the system to activate the market and to encourage the experts will be introduced. The study was performed based on the questionnaire sent to the person who works in related fields, such as industry, technology transfer center, universities, etc.

In this note, we are concerned with a class of semi-linear elliptic pdes with exponential nonlinearity in a bounded domain. Here, the nonlinearity is more or less growing exponentially with power p. We consider the problem under two types of Dirichlet boundary condition. We give existence and non-existence of solutions for those problems and some asymptotics.

A sodium chloride crystallizer shows oscillatory and nonlinear characteristics under its nucleating and growing process. Because these characteristics vary with operational condition, we can't control the product crystal size exactly with a PID controller or a sequence controller. Then, we make a model with threefold neural networks for the laboratory equipment that is a jet mixing crystallizer. We try to control the product crystal size with its neuro-model, and we reach the conclusion that our neuro-model is applicable to the practical crystallizer.

Nonlinear asymmetric time series models have the growing interest in econometrics and finance. Threshold model is one of the successful asymmetric model. We consider a smooth transition ARMA model which converges a.s. to a threshold ARMA model and show that the smooth transition ARMA model admits a stationary measure, provided a suitable condition on the coefficients of the autoregressive parts of the different regimes is satisfied. Stationarity of a smooth transition GARCH model is also obtained.

As utility pollution take a growing interest, ac/dc converter optimizing utility condition has been vigorously studied in decades. In this paper three phase DCM converter is analyzed and equations for average input currents are presented. Also relationships of voltage gain & duty according to angular velocity are presented and variable frequency controller is implemented using reset integrator which is designed in detail. In result power factor and THD characteristics of 3-stage and 4-stage operation ae compared respectively.

Electrospinning is a novel process for forming fibers with submicron scale diameters through the action of electrical force. In the previous study, we performed study on the ultrafine PVDF nanofiber production in the stable spinning condition. Recently it would be great interest to fabricate IP(inorganic particle) assemblies in nanofibe. since such IP/nanofiber hybrid materials might be used in a nonwoven form as nanowires, medical gauges for bums healing and cell growing, sensors, chemical and gas filteration. Apartment Building remodeling market is now growing centering around non housing building. Unlike non housing building remodeling business, understanding of remodeling demanders accustomed to profit of reconstruction, deficiency of experience performing remodeling project and construction, shortage of will performing remodeling policy and detailed action method are difficulties in performing apartment building remodeling business. Understanding change of remodeling demanders, strong economic incentive by government, construction management paradigm shift from new construction into building life cycle, application of construction method using existing building condition before remodeling and remodeling related industry infrastructure are required to improve this remodeling business circumstances.

Microstructural examinations were performed on the anaerobic biofilm from reactor filled with PE support media. Optical microscope, SEM and fluorescent microscope were used for qualitative and morphological studies on the attached microorganism under anaerobic condition. Microorganisms were attached in crevices where protection from shear forces of surfaces where easy to contact with support media surface. A hypothesis for biofilm accumulation occurs on a surface such as polymer support media is presented schematically : 1st step ; cell-support media attachment, 2nd step ; cell-support media attachment and cell-cell attachment, 3rd step ; attached biofilm from neighboring crevices joins together and growing, 4th step ; mature and irregualar biofilm was formed. In SEM photographs, shape and structures of biofilm were observed, but microorganism species and methanogens were not identified. A large number of methanogenic bacteria were identified on the surface of PE substratum by fluorescence under 480nm of radiation and it was estimated that methanogenic bacteria was related to initial attachment of bacteria under anaerobic condition.
