Objectives: This study was conducted to investigate the factors affect the oral health examination of local community elder for 13,344 using the data of the community health survey. Methods: The dependent variable included answers yes or no about receiving oral examination while the independent variable included general characteristics, health behavior and oral health behavior. The IBM SPSS Statistics 20.0 program was used for frequency analysis, Chi-square test and logistic regression analysis. Results: Factors influencing affect receiving the oral examination was significantly higher in the answer yes group with the score of 1.18 (95% Cl 1.04-1.34) compared to the group that answered no to the question of marriage, significantly higher in the group that answered yes with the score of 1.36 (95% Cl 1.18-1.56) compared to the group that answered no to exposure to anti-smoking campaigns, significantly higher in the group that answered yes with the score of 3.53 (95% Cl 3.05-4.10) compared to the group that answered yes about health examination experience, significantly higher in the group that answered yes with the score of 1.50 (95% Cl 1.19-1.87) compared to the group that answered no about tooth brushing after breakfast and significantly higher in the group that answered yes with the score of 4.00 (95% Cl 3.55-4.37) compared to the group that answered no to whether they have had scaling experience. Conclusions: The study results show that the elderly had a low rate of oral examination. It is necessary to increase preventive treatments and continue studies on oral health examination in the elderly.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of preoperative guidance and operating room environment experience using virtual reality on increasing satisfaction with information and reducing anxiety in preoperative patients undergoing general anesthesia and local anesthesia. Methods: A non-equivalent control group quasi-experimental design was employed. The participants were 80 surgical patients from 4 wards (40 experimental group and 40 control group) of the general hospital located in Gyeonggi-do. Data collection was conducted from June to November 2023 after completing the control group survey in January 2023. Data were analyzed using Chi-square, t-test, and Mann-Whitney U test using SPSS 23.0 program. Results: Satisfaction with preoperative information was higher in the experimental group than that of the control group. Additionally, anxiety related to surgery in the experimental group was significantly lower than that of the control group. The preoperative state anxiety score in the experimental group was not significantly lower than that of the control group. Conclusions: These results suggest that providing patient education and information using virtual reality technology can not only alleviate patients' anxiety related to surgery, but also have the potential to be used as an effective intervention to improve positive patient experiences.

As a maintenance optimization project to improve the safety of Wolsong NPP (Nuclear Power Plant), reliability of diesel generators are estimated based on the operating experience, and improvement options are suggested. A reliability measure is suggested for the estimation of reliability for standby safety systems to reflect availability. It is assessed that the reliability of diesel generators can be much improved if the suggested improvement options are implemented.
This quantitative study helps develop a measurement tool for consumer experiences inside and outside of a fashion brand store in a large shopping center along with a previous qualitative study that utilized a consumer interview. An expert group interview was conducted to verify the result of the previous qualitative study. Subjects were selected through convenient sampling. A self-administered questionnaire was developed to collect the data. We used 666 questionnaires for data analysis. To analyze data, reliability analysis, factor analysis, correlation analysis and measurement equivalence verification were conducted with a statistical package of SPSS 21.0 and Amos 18.0. We used 27 questions in 8 factors for consumer experience inside of the fashion brand store: fashion product, VMD, salesperson responsiveness, salesperson specialty, salesperson's special treatment, salesperson's respect for customers, and positive/negative emotion. We used 27 questions concerning seven factors for the consumer experience outside of a fashion brand store that encompasses a large shopping center: experience with brand and product category diversity, experience with promotion and event, esthetic experience, experience with culture and entertainment, experience with recreational behavior, experience with reputation and sense of pride, and experience with customers.

This study recognizes that individual's experience is important in change over Internet fashion consumers to Internet users, and find out fashion consumer's flow experience in Internet shopping of the fashion merchandise. Also, the purpose of this study is to analyze whether flow experience and perceived utilitarian value have an effect on Internet purchase intention of the fashion merchandise. To fulfill this objectives, a survey was conducted out from June 20 to July 30 in 2005, and an subject of study was married women aged from 20s to 30s in purchase experience of the fashion merchandise to Internet shopping malls. Data collected over the Internet, and analyzed the 306 subjects. The statistical analysis methods was frequency analysis, reliability analysis, factor analysis, multiple regression analysis. 3 hypotheses were accepted, the result of this study were as follows: First, a married women aged from 20s to 30s in purchase experience of the fashion merchandise to Internet shopping malls were skilled Internet enough to regarding Internet shopping as an easy thing, and was challenged in Internet activity. Their Internet skills, challenges and interaction had an effect on flow experience and perceived utilitarian value. Therefore, the more Internet skills, challenges. and interaction were higher, the more flow and utilitarian value about Internet shopping was higher. Second, a married women aged from 20s to 30s were high-purchased group of the fashion merchandise to Internet shopping malls, and had a repurchase intention in Internet shopping mall within the purchase experience of the fashion merchandise. Their flow experience and perceived utilitarian value had an effect on Internet purchase intention of the fashion merchandise. Therefore, the more flow experience and perceived utilitarian value were higher, the more Internet purchase intention of the fashion merchandise was higher.
With the advent of experience era, the user experience has attracted much attention in all walks of life. And the importance of user experience emphasize began to be emphasized. It analyzed the interfering factors of user experience of smart phone medical APP, and evaluated their relative importance. Then it made suggestions on the priority of medical APP development and provided reference for medical APP design optimization and service quality improvement. First of all, based on the related research about user experience theory, smartphone APP user experience and mobile medical APP, it summarized the user experience elements of smartphone medical APP. Secondly, 200 subjects in the 20-40 age group who chose smartphone download experience and used medical APP were surveyed to rate the effect of 18 factors. The results show that the factors such as product resources, medical advertising recommendations, doctor-patient interaction, emotional pleasure, easy to learn, and other factors have a significant impact on users' good experience when using app.
Objectives : The purpose of this study is to examine the relation between the obesity, life style and low back pain(LBP) in high school students and provide informations for developing the prevention of the low back pain. Methods : Participants were the 2nd grade students from one high school in An-san(268 students). Using a self-reported questionnaire, we collected data. And the data were analyzed by t-test, chi-square in SPSS Win 12.0 program. Results : 1. The experience rate of LBP for 268 high school students was 56.7%. 2. The experience rate of female students(61%) was significantly higher than the male students(50%). 3. Computer using time of males LBP group was significantly higher than the none-LBP group. 4. Body mass index(BMI) of females LBP group was significantly higher than the non-LBP group. Conclusions : This study showed that the experience rate of LBP among high school students was related to obesity and life style. Therefore, educational programs and policy for preventing low back pain are necessary.
The purpose of this study was to identify egonomy tendency on their self-makeup and appearance management behavior of university women in Jeonbuk province. A self-administered questionnaire was used for data collection. Frequency analyses, reliability analyses, cross-tabulations and multiple regression analyses were used. Factors of university women's egonomy tendency were individuality, value, luxury good, style, design, appearance, and economic feasibility. University women were classified into the egonomy retarde group(G1), the value pursuing group(G2), the economic feasibility pursuing group(G3), and the highly egonomy pursuing group(G4). G1 were indifferent to their makeup methods and appearance management, had the least experience in buying recommended cosmetics or idea cosmetics. G2 invested time and efforts in makeup and managed their appearance with cosmetics or folk remedies, had less experience in buying artist brand cosmetics. G3 performed makeup frequently, were not much interested in appearances while showing the most frequent appearance management behaviors using cosmetics of folk remedies, and spent small amount of money to buy cosmetics. G4 showed high frequencies of all factors of self-makeup and appearance management behaviors, had the most experience in buying artist brand cosmetics and spent much amounts of money to buy cosmetics. Self-makeup behavior was affected by their tendencies to pursue individuality, values, appearance and appearance management behavior was affected by their tendencies to pursue luxury goods, appearance, and economic feasibility.
Objectives: This study has longitudinally analyzed male smokers in order to find out the trend rate of re-smoking after smoking cessation. Methods: The study was conducted with 800 male smokers who were provided with smoking cessation services for 3 years at public health centers from July 16, 2005 to July 15, 2008. Results: The results can be summarized as follows: First, the success rate of smoking cessation for at least 6 months during 3-year period was 54.4%. The failure rate of smoking cessation at the second year was 47.5% and the third 27.2%, which indicates that the failure rate diminishes as the period of smoking cessation extends. Second, the success rate of smoking cessation at the first trial was 35.0%, the second 24.3%, and the third 16.4%. The success rate diminished as the number of trial increased. Third, the continuation rate of smoking cessation for a year was 18.3%, for 2 years 13.4%. For the success group, the continuation rate of smoking cessation for a year was 52.5%, for 2 years 38.2%. For the failure group, the rate for a year was 21.5%. Fourth, in this longitudinal analysis, the most crucial variables that affect the success rate of smoking cessation are total number of consultation and the past experience of successful smoking cessation. Conclusion: This study shows that success of smoking cessation and the continuance of smoking cessation are both difficult, and that the past experience of smoking cessation plays an important role determining the present success of smoking cessation and continuance of smoking cessation. Thus, it is necessary to divide people into success group and failure group based on the results of the past experience of smoking cessation when they consult at smoking cessation clinics at public health centers. Further, in order to increase the continuation rate of smoking cessation, this study suggests that we need to consider ways to take care of those who successfully abstained from smoking for 6 months.
Objectives : This study aims to examine the effects of death education program on meaning in life, death anxiety and attitude toward nursing care of the dying patients among nursing students. Methods : Subjects were 155 nursing students of the K college. Before and after the intervention, students responded a questionnaire developed to measure meaning in life, death anxiety and attitude toward nursing care of the dying patients. To analyse the data, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, t-test, and paired t-test were used with an SPSS 12.0 program. Results : 1. Meaning in life and attitude toward nursing care of the dying patients levels significantly increased, death anxiety levels significantly decreased. 2. Meaning in life levels increased significantly in the 20-24 age group, female, first grade, no religion, no death experience of relatives. 3. Death anxiety levels decreased significantly in the 20-24 age group, female, no religion, no death experience of relatives, but increased significantly in a buddhist group. 4. Attitude toward nursing care of the dying patients levels increased significantly in the 20-24 age group, female, first grade, won buddhist, no death experience of relatives. Conclusions : This study, through the above result, shows that the death education program can be an effective nursing education to improve meaning in life and attitude toward nursing care of the dying patients and to decrease death anxiety. These results suggest that the death education program will be helpful for recognizing the values of themselves and their current lives and improving their nursing intervention care of the dying patients.
