근접한 흙막이벽체에 가하는 선행하중의 영향을 받는 상재하중 재하 터널의 안정 (Stability of A Surcharged Tunnel under the Effect of Pre-Loading on the Adjacent Braced Wall)

  • When the ground is excavated adjacent to the existing tunnel, which is loaded by the surcharge on the ground surface, the tunnel stability would be very sensitive to the deformation of the ground induced by the horizontal displacement of braced wall. The stability of the existing surcharged tunnel could be controlled by pre-loading on the braced wall. In this paper, it was investigated, if it would be possible to keep the existing surcharged tunnel stable by preventing the horizontal displacement of a braced wall by imposing the pre-loading during the ground excavation. For this purpose, large scale model tests were performed in a scale 1/10 at the test pit which was 2.0m in width and 6.0m in height and 4.0m in length. Isotropic test ground was constructed homogeneously by wet sand. Model tunnel was constructed in the test ground. Surcharge was loaded on the ground surface above the tunnel. During the tests, the behavior of model tunnel and model braced wall was measured. Numerical analyses were also performed in the same condition as the tests. And their results were compared to that of the model tests. Consequently, the effect of a surcharge could be compensated by imposing the pre-loading on the braced wall. The existing tunnel and the braced wall could be kept stable by preventing the horizontal displacement of the braced wall through pre-loading, although the tunnel is surcharged.

  • Always slope according to construct road exist danger because of environment unstability factor in slope, Since this research an inclination of slope is gentle slope (1:1.5∼1:9.0) but falling happened by conduct of continuous ground movement. And this study considered more economical and efficient reinforcement method for slope stability. The various reinforcement methods are applied to execute examination of slope stability. Applied reinforcement methods satisfied safety factor And this research region is performing continuous measurement about ground movements and displacements.

  • Shape optimization of the 3-dimensional WIG airfoil with 3.0-aspect ratio has been performed by using the multi-objective genetic algorithm. The WIG ship effectively floating above the surface by the ram effect and the virtual additional aspect ratio by a ground is one of next-generation and cost-effective transportations. Unlike the airplane flying out of the ground effect, a WIG ship has possibility to capsize because of unsatisfying the static stability. The WIG ship should satisfy aerodynamic properties as well as a static stability. They tend to strong contradict and it is difficult to satisfy aerodynamic properties and static stability simultaneously. It is inevitable that lift force has to scarify to obtain a static stability. Multi-objective optimization technique that the individual objectives are considered separately instead of weighting can overcome the conflict. Due to handling individual objectives, the optimum cannot be unique but a set of nondominated potential solutions: pareto optimum. There are three objectives; lift coefficient, lift-to-drag ratio and static stability. After a few evolutions, the non-dominated pareto individuals can be obtained. Pareto sets are all the set of possible and excellent solution across the design space. At any selections of the pareto set, these are no better solutions in all design space

A Study on the Variation of Ground Safety Factor by Earthworks

  • The construction of roads, tunnels, and bridges results in changes to the local terrain that may influence the ground safety factor, which represents the stability of geotechnical structures. In this study, we assessed construction sites that had collapsed as a result of terrain change, and then simulated variation in the ground safety factor with respect to terrain change caused by road construction. We assumed steep slopes to simulate changes in terrain in a mountainous area and assumed that earthworks took place for road construction by cutting a platform into the slope and altering the slope angle of the terrain both above and below the road. We calculated values of the ground safety factor through a stability analysis of the slope both above and below the road, and examined the variation in the safety factor of the above- and below-road slopes with respect to changes in road width. We found that if the slope angle was the same above and below the road, then the change in the ground safety factor during/after road construction occurred in the slope below the road, and if the slope angle above the road differed from that below, then the change occurred in both the above- and below-road slopes. Furthermore, the ground safety factor was essentially constant for road widths exceeding 2-6 m, depending on both above- and below-road slope angle. The findings of this study can be used to guide the management of construction sites and to assess changes in ground stability during road construction work, particularly in the early stages of earthworks, when the road width is narrow.

비파괴 탐사를 이용한 무량사오층석탑 지반안정해석 (Ground Stability Interpretation of the Five-storied Stone Pagoda at the Muryangsa Temple, Korea; An Examined by the Nondestructive Survey)

  • 무량사오층석탑(보물 제185호)은 백제의 옛 땅에 위치한 지리적 특성으로 백제의 기법이 이어졌고 통일신라의 시대적인 양식도 계승된 고려초기의 석탑이다. 이 석탑은 오랜세월 외부에 위치해 있어 부재에 심한 암석학적 풍화와 생물학적 풍화를 받고 있으며 상대갑석에는 중심침하가 발생한 상태이다. 이에 상대갑석의 중심침하의 원인을 규명하기 위해 탄성파 탐사, 전기비저항 탐사, GPR 탐사와 같은 비파괴 방법을 이용하여 지반안정해석을 실시하였다. 이 결과, 모든 탐사에서 지반은 양호한 상태로 나타났으며, 특히 전기비저항 탐사자료를 통해 지반강화 다짐으로 보여지는 고비저항대가 나타났다. 따라서 상대갑석에서 발생한 중심침하 현상은 지반의 불안정에 의한 것이 아니라 상대갑석 상부 부재의 구조적 불안정에서 기인된 것이라 해석된다. 이 결과는 석탑의 상시 모니터링 또는 보존대책 수립시 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

  • 흙막이 벽체의 시공 중 안정성을 확보하기 위하여 시공현장의 지반 정보를 조사하는 것은 매우 중요한 일이다. 흙막이 벽체 시공단계에서 지반의 정보는 지반조사를 통해 확인하고 있지만, 실제 지반 정보의 특성은 결과와 상이할 수 있다. 실시간으로 흙막이 벽체의 안정성을 분석하기 위해서는 실제 지반의 상태를 반영하는 것이 중요하다. 또한 벽체가 불안정하다고 판단 시 벽체의 안정성을 확보하기 위하여 적절한 솔루션을 제공해야 한다. 본 연구는 차분진화 알고리즘을 통하여 실제 지반의 정보를 예측하고 흙막이 벽체의 디지털 트윈을 통하여 흙막이 벽체의 안정성을 실시간으로 판단하는 기법을 제시하고자 한다.

Longitudinal static stability requirements for wing in ground effect vehicle

  • The issue of the longitudinal stability of a WIG vehicle has been a very critical design factor since the first experimental WIG vehicle has been built. A series of studies had been performed and focused on the longitudinal stability analysis. However, most studies focused on the longitudinal stability of WIG vehicle in cruise phase, and less is available on the longitudinal static stability requirement of WIG vehicle when hydrodynamics are considered: WIG vehicle usually take off from water. The present work focuses on stability requirement for longitudinal motion from taking off to landing. The model of dynamics for a WIG vehicle was developed taking into account the aerodynamic, hydrostatic and hydrodynamic forces, and then was analyzed. Following with the longitudinal static stability analysis, effect of hydrofoil was discussed. Locations of CG, aerodynamic center in pitch, aerodynamic center in height and hydrodynamic center in heave were illustrated for a stabilized WIG vehicle. The present work will further improve the longitudinal static stability theory for WIG vehicle.

비평면 지면효과를 받는 날개들의 종방향 정안정성 (Longitudinal Static Stability of Wings Flying Over Nonplanar Ground Surfaces)

  • 채널 및 레일과 같은 비평면 지면 위를 비행하는 날개들의 정상상태 공력특성 및 종방향 정안정성을 경계요소법을 사용하여 연구하였다. 펜스의 높이가 날개의 위치보다 높을 경우, 펜스와 날개와의 거리가 작아질수록 양력이 증가하고 피칭다운 모멘트가 커졌다. 레일의 폭이 날개 스팬보다 넓을 때, 레일의 높이가 낮을수록 양력이 증가하고 유도항력이 감소하였다. 종방향 정안정성 측면에서 단일 날개의 경우 비평면 지면보다 평지에서 안정한 결과를 나타내었다. 종렬배치형 날개의 경우 채널내를 비행하는 날개가 평지보다 비평면 지면에서 안정적이었다. 본 연구결과는 초고속운송체의 설계에 적용될 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

사면의 지반 열화로 인한 안정성 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Stability due to Ground Deterioration of Slope)

  • 사면 구조물은 시간이 경과함에 따라 대상지반에서 각종 열화 현상이 진행되어 내구성의 저하로 인한 붕괴가 발생할 수 있으며, 사용 연한을 감소시키는 결과를 초래하게 된다. 이러한 지반 열화에 따른 사면안정에 대한 접근방안은 지반의 물리적 특성 및 기하학적인 구조에 국한하여 분석하는 기존의 한계 평형 해석과는 또 다른 개념이라 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 사면의 열화 특성과 관련하여 각종 문헌 조사를 통하여 비교분석을 수행하고, 전단강도 저감에 대한 최적의 제안식들로서 지수함수, 로그함수 및 역쌍곡선 함수를 제시하고, 열화에 취약한 양산 단층대의 셰일층에서 붕괴가 발생한 경부고속철도 절토사면을 대상으로 사례분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서는 사례분석을 통하여 향후 열화로 인한 사면 안전성과 관련하여 정량적인 평가를 위한 최적의 강도 저하 곡선을 도출하고 한계평형해석에 의한 안정해석을 할 수 있는 접근 방법을 제시하였다.

취반 재고미를 첨가하여 제조한 저지방 분쇄우육의 냉중중 안정성 (Microbiological and Oxidative Stability of Low Fat Ground Beef during Refrigeration)

  • Four low fat ground beef groups containing 10% fat plus 0, 5, 10 and 20% additional cooked lod rice and a control ground beef containing 30% fat were prepared and the analysis for microbiological and oxidative stability were conducted. During 6 days of storage at 4$^{\circ}C$ microbial analysis including total plate count and coliform groups were performed and 2-thiobarbituric acid reactive substance (TBARS) absorbances were measured. The growth rate of total aerobic bacteria and coliform groups tended to increase with the increase in fat content and the amount of added cooked lod rice. Development of oxidative rancidity were not significantly different between 10 and 30% fat ground beef but among the 10% ground beef the rancidity development significantly(p<05) decreased with the in-crease in the amount of added cooked old rice. Low fat ground beef groups were not stable over 3 days during storage at 4$^{\circ}C$.
