대도시 공원녹지의 역할에 관한 연구(I) -대구시민의 공원녹지의 가 치 분석을 중심으로- (The Role of Green Space in Metropolitan -Region with Practical Reference to Taegu City, Korea-)

  • Every assumptions on the importance of urban green space were highly valued by urban and land-scape professionals. This paper, therefore, investigated residents' values on urban green space as a first stage study on the role of green space in metropolitan region. Case study area was Taegu city. Questionnaire was main tool for the investigation. This study discussed operationtional defition of green space and the appropriateness of the hierarchy of green space in order to examine the changing role of urban green space in terms of people's values on green space. The investigation proposed that the people's values were quite different from those of the professionals' and suggested the need of new method which was more suitable to investigate people's emotions and values on the green space in the city.

Growth Responses and Regrowth to Low Temperature of Nine Native Moss Species

  • Moss is used as an important material in indoor landscaping as well as outdoor landscaping. Moss is vivid green during growth and excellent in ornamental value. But when temperature drops, moss stops growth, turns brown or loses its ornamental value. In the present experiment, for the purpose of classifying native mosses according to the growth response to low temperature, the temperature of the plant growth chamber was set to 15℃/5℃ (16h/8h, day/night) and 5℃ (24h) for 8 weeks using nine native moss species. Thereafter, the temperature of the plant growth chamber was set to 20℃, and then the changes of moss block area and moss color were measured. The changes of moss block area and moss color were measured using a Photoshop program, after each moss block was photographed. As a result, Atrichum undulatum (Hedw.). Beauv., Etodon luridus (Griff.) A. Jaeger, Bachythecium plumosum (Hedw.) Schimp, Plagiomnium cuspidatum (Hedw.) T.J. Kop, and Hypnum plumaeforme Wilson showed a small decrease in moss block area at low temperature, and their recovery were the fastest at 20℃. These three species had higher green values at low temperature compared to other species, and the greenness increased rapidly at 20℃. On the other hand, Atrichum undulatum (Hedw.). Beauv., Marchantia polymorpha L., and Thuidium cymbifolium (Mitt.) A. Jaeger showed the smallest block area at low temperature and the lowest recovery even at 20℃. Their green values also decreased significantly at low temperature, and maintained low green value even at 20℃. These results showed that these three moss species are sensitive to low temperature. The remaining Myuroclada maximowiczii, Plagiomnium cuspidatum, and H. erectiusculum showed moderate responses to low temperature compared to other six species of mosses.

  • The purpose of the study is to identify land use characteristics which have influence on residents' mental health. Land use and housing types indicators including green areas and parks were selected by analyzing the related environment and health researches. Research database for every variable from 33 neighborhoods in Jeonju city were established through National Health Insurance Corporation, where is available for getting mental and behavioral disabilities (F code) expenses. The relation between those indexes and mental health were analysed. The findings of this study are as follows : First, the higher price area like apartments and raw houses the residents lived in, the more expenditure of F-code was paid. It could be interpreted by the relatively high frequency of medical treatment and interests on the health. Second, the more green area except park were there, the more F-code expenditure was given, which could be explicated with the spatial co-relation between location of green area and apartments of Jeonju city. It was very high, and apartment element's affect on the F-code was much more than the green zone. Third, the nearer to park were the residents, the less F-code expenses was paid.

21세기 수도권 대기환경 개선과 녹색성장을 위한 제안 (Proposal for Air Quality Improvement and Green Growth in the Seoul Metropolitan Area of the 21st Century)

  • Ahead of the second basic plan which starts in 2015, tasks needed to improve air quality and encourage green growth in the Seoul Metropolitan Area have been investigated. To date, many research findings indicate that climate change is ongoing and continues to accelerate in the Northeast Asia due to several factors, including unparalleled anthropogenic air emissions from China. An intensive field study is proposed that would target the Seoul Metropolitan Area and would be conducted in collaboration with the international scientific community. While focused on environmental issues in Korea, this study would also benefit the international community by providing insights that can be applied to address similar problems around the world. In addition to the basic plan's emphasis on improving air quality, there is a need to promote green growth through environment-friendly development. It is proposed that green growth be interpreted as a comprehensive concept, targeting all environmental pollution, rather than being limited to low-carbon goals. It is further proposed that the success of environment-friendly development be measured in terms of risk reduction, energy and resources conservation, economic benefits, and employment expansion.

경남 창원시 초등학교 학교숲의 생태적 특성 (Ecological Characteristics in School Forests of Elementary Schools in Changwon-City, Gyeongnam-do)

  • This study was conducted to provide basic data for the establishment school forests in order to utilize school forests as a place for environmental education through analyzing the planting status in elementary schools located in Changwon-city. School forests including meditation forest were the largest in Yongho elementary school (below e.s.) in meditation forest school and Dogye (e.s) in normal school. Jehwang (e.s.) and Sangnam (e.s.) showed the most abundant green area given for the management per member. The number of planting species and individuals in school forests differed greatly by elementary schools. There was also a difference in the number of planted species for establishment of meditation forest. There were no significant difference the concordance rate between the plants planted in the school forest and the plants mentioned in the textbook between meditation forest schools and normal schools. Index of ecological health averaged 3.2 for meditation forest schools and 2.4 for normal schools, which is the result of increase in green area and green rate due to the establishment of the meditation forest.

일본 고베시(신호시(神戶市)) 로코(육갑(六甲))아일랜드 임해매립지의 완충녹지 식재기법 연구 (Planting Method of Buffer Green Space in the Reclaimed Seaside Areas, Rokko Island, Kobe, Japan)

  • 본 연구는 일본 고베시 로코아일랜드 완충녹지의 공간기능별 지형구조, 식재개념, 식재구조를 조사분석하여 해안매립도시의 토지이용을 고려한 완충녹지 식재기법 연구 기초자료를 제공하고자 수행하였다. 로코아일랜드(총면적 580ha)는 대규모 완충녹지를 박스형으로 조성하여 외곽부의 항만물류 산업용지와 도시내부 도시기능용지로 구획되었다. 완충녹지 지형구조는 편향마운딩형, 병렬마운딩형, 복합마운딩형이었고, 북쪽의 녹지폭은 50m, 동쪽의 녹지폭은 8~32m, 서쪽의 녹지폭은 37.5m, 경사도는 $18\sim25^{\circ}$, 성토고는 2~15m이었다. 공간기능별 재개념은 해안측 사면부는 경관식재와 완충식재, 도시내부는 경관식재와 녹음식재를 적용하였다. 북측 완충녹지 식재구조 조사결과, 종가시나무, 녹나무, 후박나무, 녹보리똥나무 등 난온대 상록활엽수를 식재하였고, $100mm^2$단위의 종수 및 식재밀도는 최대 교목 9종 22주, 아교목 9종 15주, 관목 3종 67주로 전 층위 14종 104주이었다. 녹피율은 교목층 69~139%, 아교목층 26~38%, 관목층 6~7%, 전 층위 101~184%, 녹지용적계수는 교목층 $1.40\sim3.12m^3/m^2$, 아교목층 $0.43\sim0.55m^3/m^2$, 관목층 $0.06m^3/m^2$, 전 층위 $1.89\sim3.73m^3/m^2$이었다.

도시근교 택지개발지역의 경관계획지표 적용방안 (Applying of Indicators for Landscape Planning in Building Lots Development District around Urban Fringe)

  • In terms of the indicators by the type for the landscape plan per the district nit, geographic ecology indicators were the items such as water, water system, topography and climate, while biological ecology indicators were the items such as green zone size, green zone ratio, biotope size and distribution. The sensory and visual indicators were the items such as view point, view axis and skyline, and the accessibility indicator items for the green zone were applied as the socially used indicators. As for the application method according to each indicator, the water or water system was expressed and applied through the slopes and elevation topographic analysis drawings, the climate was expressed and applied through the main direction of the wind and the cold wind pass alley drawings. As for the green zone size and green zone ratio, the land use according to the status and housing area development was compared to present the measured figures. In case of the biotop size and the distribution item, the range was limited to the preparation of the biotope drawings for the focused preservation. As for the view point and view axis, the view point was selected according to the view point to prepare and apply the view analysis drawing in which the view area to be preserved is analyzed. As for the skyline, its landscape photo was composed with the housing area shape, and then skyline photography was applied as the plan in order to propose and consider the various shapes of the skyline. As for the accessibility to the peen zone, the network drawing was drawn to reflect the users' accessibility and continuity of the green zone formed and preserved according to the land use plan and then the drawing was prepared and proposed as the applicable plan.

환경관리업무-정보시스템 조정이 기업성과에 미치는 영향 (Firm Performance Impact of Green Practice-IS Coordination)

  • Although the role of information systems (IS) on environmental sustainability much attention, the coordination between green practices and environmental management information systems (EMIS) in a firm remains unexplored area in environmental management and IS disciplines. This study elaborated the antecedents of the coordination between green practices and EMIS and then examines the links among them. Also, this study investigated the links from the coordination between green practices and EMIS to firm's environmental performance. The results showed that both attitudes of managers who are responsible for a firm's green practices and their support had direct effects on the coordination between green practices and EMIS. Also, consistent with environmental management literature, the study provides a better understanding of the relationship between the coordination between green practices and EMIS and environmental performance.

친환경인증제도가 주택가격에 미치는 영향 분석 (Impact of Green Building Rating System on an Apartment Housing Price)

  • Because energy consumption of the construction part is very high, there is a growing need to introduce environment-friendly buildings. Therefore Green Building Rating System is enacted in Korea. Though environment-friendly factors such as green area affect the apartment housing price, there's no saying whether Green Building Rating System directly affect the apartment housing price. The purpose of this paper is to estimate the impact of Green Building Rating System on an apartment housing price. The analysis result demonstrated that Green Building Rating System don't affect the apartment housing price. This result means that there is a problem with the effectiveness of Green Building Rating System. The government ought to institute incentive program to ctivate the market of environment-friendly building.
