전통농촌주택의 환경친화성에 관한 연구 (Green Design Principles and Techniques of Korean Folk Houses in Rural Area)

  • The Korean folk house, especially in rural area, has created the comfortable indoor environment with passive control of outdoor climate as environmental architecture. This study aims to identify the peculiar elements of sustainable architecture in folk houses in rural areas of Cheju Island and Ullŭng Island through the field experiments. The elements of environmental control of folk houses in both islands could be developed as the design elements of modern rural architecture. This effort can play major role to find the green design principles and techniques of environmental control of the building which have been neglected in the design of modern architecture.

Urban Growth of Chuncheon City Observed by Landsat Satellite Images

  • In this study, 8 Landsat(TM/ETM+) satellite images acquired from 1984 to 2002 were used to investigate the growth of Chuncheon city, Kangwon-do, Korea. The images were geocoded and classified using training set collected from field survey. Four land-use types were classified such as urban area, green zone, agricultural land and water body. It also showed rapid increase of urban area in the past two decades from 1166ha in 1984 to 3358ha in 2002. About 2182ha of agricultural land and green zone have been changed to urban area. Agricultural land was newly formed from the green zone.

저탄소 녹색성장에 대한 인지도 향상 및 협업에 관한 연구 - 대구.경북지역을 중심으로 (A study of joint development strategies of recognition and collaboration about green growth between local government and company in Dae-gu and Kyoung-buk Area)

  • 본 논문은 저탄소 녹색성장법이 발효된 상태에서 대구 경북 지역의 지방자치단체와 기업이 이를 어느 정도 인식하고 있는지, 또한 효율적인 정책의 시행을 위한 효과적인 방향은 무엇인지를 밝히는데 그 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 저탄소 녹색성장에 대한 인지도를 조사 분석하여 정책시행에 대한 현 상황을 파악하였다. 그 결과 대구 경북 지역의 기업은 지방자치단체에 비해서 저탄소 녹색성장에 대한 인지도 및 협업에 관한 인식이 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 이는 향후 저탄소 녹색성장 대한 인지도 향상과 이를 통해 새로운 사업기회를 창출하기 위해서는 기업차원과 정부차원에서 무엇을 해야 할 것인가에 대한 방향을 제시해 준다.

정주여건을 고려한 의사결정나무기법 활용 농촌지역 유형화 (Typical Classification of Rural Area Considering Settlement Environment by Decision Tree Method)

  • The objective of this study is to classify the types of rural areas (138 $si{\cdot}gun$) considering settlement environment by Decision Tree Method (CHAID). The CHAID method was used for decision tree algorithm and the seven dependant variables and 5 explanatory variables were selected, respectively. By decision tree method, rural areas were finally classified into six groups through three separate processes. City area, lower area in aging rate and higher area in farmland area ratio was analyzed to be relatively rich rather than other area in the case of settlement environment index. In the future, this study will be able to utilize as a reference to the planning of rural development projects.

도시 녹지 가치 평가를 위한 탄소 흡수량 추정 - 서울시를 대상으로 - (Estimation of Carbon Uptake for Urban Green Space: A Case of Seoul)

  • Urban green space is often at the centre of the debate on urban substantiality because it provides functions of space, e.g. for wildlife, recreation, growing vegetables, psychological wellbeing, social interaction, etc. Traditionally, the various functions of urban green spaces clearly show that green spaces contain important values that contribute to the overall quality of urban life. After Kyoto protocol, it has becoming important to more accurately evaluate carbon uptake by urban green space. Many studies have analyzed the benefits, costs, and carbon storage capacity associated with urban green space. These studies have been limited by a lack of research on urban tree biomass and carbon uptake by soil, such that estimates of carbon storage in urban systems. This study calculate more accurately the amount of carbon uptake by urban green space. This study also complement the existing methods to estimate the urban green space carbon uptake. It has been studied how to evaluate carbon uptake function of urban green space. The surface area of urban green space increased 5% by complemented method and carbon uptake is also increased. Based on this result, the carbon uptake per capita was analysed and compared to the area of carbon uptake. And this study discussed the reasons for the differences between the new and earlier estimates, as well as implications for our understanding of the global carbon cycle. In conclusion, these results could contribute as preliminary data to policy makers when climate change adaptation strategy is established.

도시공원녹지의 생태성 및 기후변화 대응성 평가 기초 연구 (A Preliminary Study on Assessment of Urban Parks and Green Zones of Ecological Attributes and Responsiveness to Climate Change)

  • Problems in regard of ecological stability of urban ecosystem ensue from climate change and urbanization. Particularly, urban ecological conditions are deteriorating both quantitatively and qualitatively to a great extent. The present study aims to assess the current condition of selected sites (i. e. urban green zones and parks) in terms of preset assessment components; to find out problems and relevant solutions to improve the quality and quantity of parks and green zones; and ultimately to suggest some measures applicable to coping with climate change as well as to securing the ecological attributes of urban green zones and parks. According to the findings of this study, from quantitative perspectives, ecological attributes and responsiveness to climate change are high on account of the large natural-soil area(80%). By contrast, from qualitative perspectives including the planting structure (1 layer: 47%), the percentage of bush area(17%), the connectivity with surrounding green zones (independent types: 44%), the wind paths considered (5.6%), the tree species with high carbon absorption rates (20%), water cycles (17%), energy (8%) and carbon storage capacities(61%), ecological attributes and responsiveness to climate change were found very low. These findings suggest that the ecological values of urban parks and green zones should be improved in the future by conserving their original forms, securing natural-soil grounds and employing multi-layered planting structures and water bodies, and that responsiveness to climate change should be enhanced by planting tree species with high carbon storage capacities and obtaining detention ponds. In sum, robust efforts should be exerted in the initial planning stages, and sustained, to apply the methodology of green-zone development along with securing ecological attributes and responsiveness to climate change.

치유테마단지 사례조사 분석 (A Case Survey and Analysis of Complex with Theme of Green Care and Healing)

  • Developed countries in agriculture like Netherlands, Belgium and England, have managed Green Care policy and project during the last decades. The needs in Green Care is also increasing as new growth power in rural area of Korea. This study investigated sites which are already operating as complex with Green Care theme. This study surveyed the operating conditions like type, scale, location pattern, purpose, customer and finance for cases of the complex. The period of the survey is from 2015. 8. 11 to 2015. 09. 10 for the 24 activated cases in aspect of operation and management. Among the 24 cases, 16 cases were classified as Green Care Complex which facilities are aggregated a place, and the other 8 cases as Green Care Cluster which are distributed at several places. The analysis result showed that there were apparent distinction among cases in total budget, costs of construction, capacity for guest, and the total number of annual visitors. Despite of the type and scale the accommodation cost, the number of workers, and amount of sales have small deviation in distribution of values, although the cases have various type of contents and scale of space. The result of this study can be used as data of bench marking to develop the Green Care Complex or Cluster in rural area.

지역농협단위 친환경농업의 추진사례 연구 - 안성 고삼지역의 사례를 중심으로 - (A Case Study on the Strategies for Developing Environmental -Friendly Agriculture by Regional Agricultural Cooperatives - Focused on Anseong Kosam Area -)

  • Environmental-friendly agriculture(EFA) has been mainly developed at many areas which have factors of natural, social cultural and economic characteristics. These rural areas can be developed into environmental-friendly space to preserve ecosystem, natural and cultural scenery, and environmental resources. The plan for developing a regional agriculture has to get central operating bodies, producers' organizations, a homogeneous district for farming, and so on. This case study is focused on development directions and situations of the EFA of Kosam area in Anseong. Kosam cooperatives is a central managing body to produce and sell rice by duck-farming method, and to develop rural area. This cooperatives is one of the leading those that have developed the regional agriculture in Korea. Kosam area is at a disadvantage of natural-geographical conditions and farming size. Kosam cooperatives has been trying to overcome these agricultural weaknesses by introducing duck-farming method. They have got many excellent results through developing EFA as a regional agriculture. Kosam area will be a good place for green tourism if they can actualize the combination model of three demand factors (natural and agricultural scenic view, natural-friendly recreation and safe food) for green tourism in the near future.

대도시 공원녹지의 역할에 관한 연구(I) -대구시민의 공원녹지의 가 치 분석을 중심으로- (The Role of Green Space in Metropolitan -Region with Practical Reference to Taegu City, Korea-)

  • Every assumptions on the importance of urban green space were highly valued by urban and land-scape professionals. This paper, therefore, investigated residents' values on urban green space as a first stage study on the role of green space in metropolitan region. Case study area was Taegu city. Questionnaire was main tool for the investigation. This study discussed operationtional defition of green space and the appropriateness of the hierarchy of green space in order to examine the changing role of urban green space in terms of people's values on green space. The investigation proposed that the people's values were quite different from those of the professionals' and suggested the need of new method which was more suitable to investigate people's emotions and values on the green space in the city.

도시공간의 통합적 녹지환경 평가 (An Integrated Assessment of Green Environment on Urban Space)

  • 본 연구에서는 도시공간의 녹지환경에 대한 통합적 평가를 통해 지속가능한 녹지계획의 방향을 설정하고자 하였다. 연구대상지는 대구광역시의 7개 행정구 중 녹지의 공간적 불균형이 가장 심화된 지역인 달서구를 선정하였다. 녹지환경 평가를 위한 세 가지 기능은 자연생태적, 환경조절적, 이용적 기능으로 설정하였다. 자연생태적 기능의 평가에서는 '녹지연결성'과 '동물이동성'을 지표로 활용하였으며, 환경조절적 기능 평가에서는 '열환경'과 '기온저감기능', 이용적 기능 평가에서는 '녹지의 서비스공급량'을 지표로 이용하였다. 분석결과를 살펴보면, I등급 지역인 녹지환경 우수지역은 달서구 전체면적의 44.8%를 점하며, 대부분 남동쪽의 앞산과 비슬산, 북쪽의 궁산과 와룡산의 산림녹지를 따라 분포하는 것으로 평가되었다. 반면, IV등급 지역인 녹지환경 단절지역은 감삼동과 죽전동의 주거지역, 월성1동과 진천동의 주거 및 공업지역 등으로 나타났으며, 전체면적의 5.5%를 점하는 것으로 평가되었다. 이상의 분석결과들은 향후 도시기본계획 수립 시 녹지 조성 및 배치를 위한 계획기준으로 활용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.
