The closed-form expressions of the vector gravity and gravity gradient tensor due to a circular disk are derived. The gravity potential due to a circular disk with a constant density is defined for a cylindrical system. Then, the vector gravity is derived by differentiating the gravity potential with respect to cylindrical coordinates. The radial component of the vector gravity in the cylindrical system is converted into horizontal gravity components in the Cartesian system. Finally, the gravity gradient tensor due to a circular disk is obtained by differentiating the vector gravity with respect to the Cartesian coordinates.
A simple pendulum shows how efficient gravity is in recovering energy. Any transportation is a linearly oscillating system; every load gains kinetic energy, but loses the same to come to a stop. The Gravity Power Towers comprise of a set of vertically moving heavy masses coupled, through microprocessor controlled continuously variable gear and cable system, to a horizontally rolling unit on wheels either on rail or road. The heavy masses move vertically up against gravity gaining potential energy while stopping a moving mass; move down under gravity force, giving out energy. The Tower thus accelerates or sustains the speed a rolling unit, and while decelerating, recover the kinetic energy. Speeds of 360 kmph can be attained. Recovery of energy varies from 98.5-70%; the longer the distance between stops, the lesser is recovery. The economical, omnipresent & eternal Gravity Power grants energy independence to many a nation. Global warming reduces.

The study investigates the factors that affect Kyrgyzstan's bilateral trade flows with its main trading partners and attempts to predict trade potential for Kyrgyzstan. Using panel data, the gravity model is applied to estimate Kyrgyzstan's trade from 2000 to 2016 for its 35 main trading partners. The coefficients derived from the gravity-model estimation are then used to predict trade potential for Kyrgyzstan. Results proved to be successful and explained 63% of the fluctuations in Kyrgyzstan's trade. According to the results, Kyrgyzstan's and its partners' GDP have a positive effect on trade, while distance and partners' population prove to have a negative effect. Predicted trade potential reveals that neighboring countries (China, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and Tajikistan) and Russia still have a significant trade potential. Kyrgyzstan, being a less developed economy, even by Central Asia standards, can only achieve its goals of reducing poverty and becoming more developed by increasing its overall trade with the rest of the world. Therefore, it is essential to study the main determinants of Kyrgyzstan's bilateral trade. In this way, we can help policy makers formulate policies to expand Kyrgyzstan's trade. This study is the first attempt to apply to the gravity model to Kyrgyzstan in an attempt to predict trade potential.
There are two models that explain the rotation curves of galaxies: dark matter, which gives the missing contribution to the gravitational potential of the standard theory of gravity, and modified theories of gravity, according to which the gravitational potential is created by ordinary visible mass. Both models have some disadvantages. The article offers a new look at the problem of galactic rotation curves. The author suggests that the moment of inertia creates an additional gravitational potential along with the mass. The numerical simulation carried out on the example of fourteen galaxies confirms the validity of such an assumption. This approach makes it possible to explain the constancy of gas velocities outside the galactic disk without involving the hypothesis of the existence of dark matter. At the same time, the proposed approach lacks the disadvantages of modified theories of gravity, where the gravitational potential is created only by the mass of visible matter.
A wavelet method is applied to the analysis of gravity potential. One scaling function is proposed to generate wavelet. The scaling function is shown to be replaced to the Green’s function in gravity potential. The upward continuation can be expressed as a wavelet transform i.e. convolution with the scaling function. The scaling factor indicates the height variation. The multiscale edge detection is carried by connecting the local maxima of the wavelet transform at scales. The multiscale edge represents discontinuity of the geological structure. The multiscale edge method is applied to gravity data from Masan and Changwon.

Global change and local fluctuation of earth's gravity field play important roles in accurate vertical positioning as well as in accurate horizontal positioning. Regarding the impotance, in this study, the concept of gravity potential theory connected with the influence of gravity field and every kind of height were discussed. Various kind of heights using the observed gravity and leveling data were computed and analysed to study the influence of earth's gravity field in accurate vertical positioning. Taking the route from Busan to Kyongju and investigating the ratios ($\Delta$H/dH) of height defferences (dH) between calculated heights considering gravity field and leveling height to relative heights (dH) between adjacent stations, we get the result that the values by correction formula increase linearly according to latitude, and the values by gravity potential ere strongly influenced by pseudo topography.
This study derives the expressions of vector gravity and gravity gradient tensor due to an elliptical cylinder. The vector gravity for an arbitrary three-dimensional (3D) body is obtained by differentiating the gravitational potential, including the triple integral, according to the shape of the body in each axis direction. The vector gravity of the 3D body with axial symmetry is integrated along the axial direction and reduced to a double integral. The complex Green's theorem using complex conjugates subsequently converts the double integral into a one-dimensional (1D) closed-line integral. Finally, the vector gravity due to the elliptical cylinder is derived using 1D numerical integration by parameterizing a boundary of the elliptical cross-section as a closed line. Similarly, the gravity gradient tensor due to the elliptical cylinder is second-order differentiated from the gravitational potential, including the triple integral, and integrated along the vertical axis direction reducing it to a double integral. Consequently, all the components of the gravity gradient tensor due to an elliptical cylinder are derived using complex Green's theorem as used in the case of vector gravity.
Closed-form expressions of vector gravity and gravity gradient tensor based on a line segment are derived. If a cylindrical object with axial symmetry is observed from a distance, it is possible to approximate it as a line segment; therefore, it is necessary to compute the gravity and the gravity gradient tensor due to a line source by using closed-form expressions. The gravitational potential for a line segment is defined as a one-dimensional integral, and this integral is differentiated with respect to the Cartesian coordinate system to derive the vector gravity. The expressions of the gravity gradient tensor are derived by differentiating the vector gravity once more in the same coordinate system.
Seismic reflection profile analysis, potential field analysis, and potential field modeling using deep seismic reflection, gravity, magnetic, and geological data were performed to better understand the location and nature of the Grenville Front in Ohio, USA. The seismic reflection profile reveals a broad zone of east dipping basement reflectors associated with the Grenville Front in western Ohio and a broad region of west dipping reflectors cutting through the entire crust in eastern Ohio. Potential field analysis indicates that the Grenville Front is characterized by a gravity low, an associated gravity positive and a magnetic high. The results of the gravity and magnetic modeling using seismic data suggest that the lower crust is thickened at the interpreted position of the Grenville Front and high grade metamorphic rocks make up the Grenville Front Tectonic Zone (GFTZ). The gravity low at the Grenville Front is due to the thickened crust, while the magnetic high is due to high grade metamorphic rocks. The gravity high immediately east of the GFTZ in central Ohio is caused by thrusting of high density lower and middle crustal rocks into the upper crust. There is no compelling evidence that this gravity high is related to a Precambrian rift zone as has been suggested in previous studies.
The objectives of this study are to develop a green tourism potential evaluation method with rural amenity and demand of citizen. The new index which was named GPD(green tourism potential degree) is designed to propose the green tourism potential of rural areas using spatial analysis of geographic information system and spatial interaction of gravity model. And in order to evaluate the green tourism potential with supply side and demand side, two indices were defined; One is green tourism demand degree(GDD) which is developed to quantify a demand side potential by the analysis of urban population and urbanization index, and the other is green tourism attraction degree(GAD) which is developed to quantify a supply side potential by the analysis of rural amenity values using AHP algorithm, based on opinion of related experts. The developed method was applied to a part of Kyounggi province, Seoul and Incheon. All the study area's GAD, GDD and GPD were assessed and the proposed green tourism potential evaluation method could be used in developing rural development plans and green tourism policies considering spatial interaction with citizen and green tourism resources.
