Today is a 'high concept' era in which consumers make sensible consumption that shares a sensible bond with a brand. Therefore, it is important to analyze consumers' aesthetic awareness; namely, fashion feeling in the fashion industry. This study conducted research into a fashion design planning process according to a fashion feeling focusing on computer graphics suited to the 21st century digital trend. First, the study classified a fashion feeling with eight senses including elegance, classic, modern, mannish, sporty, avant-garde, ethnic, and romantic feelings. Second, the study made an image map, color map, material map, and style map with Adobe Photoshop CS3 by dividing a fashion planning process with a computer graphics program. Also, the study made a flat illustration with Adobe Illustrator CS3. Third, the study proposed the image map, color map, material map, style map, fashion illustration and flat illustration in the design planning process under the theme of the aforementioned eight fashion feelings.

Modern art is getting more comprehensive and diversified regardless of genre in many forms due to the pluralism and anti-aesthetic trend of the time which is impacted by post modernism. This atmosphere is also applied to fashion illustration which creates synergy effect in cooperation with many different genres. This study selected Matisse' paper cut-out as the subject which would reflect the minimalism and ionism of modern plasticity. By taking this as the motive for fashion illustration, I made seven illustration works with the subject of minimalism of form and color. The conclusion of this study is as following. First, Matisse's paper cut out has controlled plasticity related to the modern ionism and it well fits the modern trend and sensibility which is appropriate for motive of fashion illustration. Second, by upgrading the technique of Matisse' paper cut-out in a modern way such as combination of hand drawing and computer graphic using Photoshop, I was able to make originative and creative illustration works with background and patterns that were closely connected with each other. Third, applying the fashion illustration to other various products is being well received now and I made my illustrations that could lead to follow up studies to apply the fashion illustration to other different products. Matisse' paper cut-our has forms, colors and patterns that can contain both commercial and artistic value. Therefore it is quite feasible for follow up research to apply into many different areas.

In this paper, we designed the bay control unit that is based on the microprocessors and integrates with the new technology of electrical, electronic, and mechanical fields. Nowadays the customers have required much more integrates multi protection relay, monitoring, control devices and power management for better and easier maintenance, performance, electrical system analysis and communication according to new trend of switchboard. This bay controller supplies those requirements of customers with easy handling and operation. This bay controller provides a graphic display with rear-lit liquid crystal LCD and push buttons as kinds of HMI. This bay controller provides the parameter setting program, various editors and fault recording and analysis program on Windows/95/98/NT/2000/XP for HMI. In addition, this bay controller can be set manually and this manual setting function helps user to interface easily.

In this paper, a scanconverter which displays the biological signals of low frequency on CRT for the purpose of easy read-out is attempted to design for using the CRTC, and it stows some good effectivenesses The results obtained in this experiment are as follows : (1) Using only one chip, CRT controller, it can display both waveforms and characters simultaneously. (2) The flexibility of CPU program can be obtained using the sub-microproce ssor function of CRTC chip. (3) The trend of digital data is possible through the graphic function (4) The vibration of displayed waveform can be prevented using the chip simplification and the trigger signal of one chip. (5) Operation with microprocessor malies the expansion and interface easy.

The purpose of this study is to propose the effective development a fashion coordination website by computer graphics and web animation programs. Today, the internet fashion shopping malls come into the spotlight as the way of marketing. The amount of clothing products sold on the internet shopping mall and interest in the website design is increasing. This means many people consider that the web site design is one of the most important thing to lead customers to purchasing. For this reasons, this study develop fashion coordination items which was designed by the computer graphics software named 'photoshop 6.0'and propose the more visual effect of fashion coordination web image which was designed by animation software named 'flash 4.0'. As a result of this study. 1 It can accumulate a database of trend garment. 2. It can help designers save a time, expenses and tries to treat design also make correction and transform their work more freely. 3. It can help develop a new textile through the various image adjustment. 4. It can give more visual and interesting effect to website by animation and multimedia. 5. It can able to communicate interactive with each other by website.

Online business these days prone to approach their costumers with improved module and various interface via Internet. This is more than just an act of providing enhancement, but a mean of finding out the customer's demand by enlarging their selection. This, however, is related to the bits per second of supplemental service network.For example, supplemental services that were not possible in the 56K modem era are now possible due to the information super highway network. To grope for new means of approaching, the best way will be by developing media that will collect customer's demands. Until now, customer's demands were evaluated by miniatures of apartment building, model houses or rendered images produced by 3D graphic softwares and pictures. Analyses were not available until evaluation were produced.Nowadays, utilizing the advanced Internet interface tools and various new media, customers are sought before the construction thus various studies to full fill the customer's demands are in process. This study is on development of a virtual module utilizing activated web environment. Analysis modules repeating the changes in customers are expected to deliver us a new trend.

Code-compliant seismic design should be essentially applied to realize the so-called emulative performance of precast concrete (PC) lateral force-resisting systems, and this study developed simple procedures to design precast industrial buildings with intermediate precast bearing wall systems considering both the effect of seismic and blast loads. Seismic design provisions specified in ACI 318 and ASCE 7 can be directly adopted, for which the so-called 1.5S_y condition is addressed in PC wall-to-wall and wall-to-base connections. Various coupling options were considered and addressed in the seismic design of wall-to-wall connections for the longitudinal and transverse design directions to secure optimized performance and better economic feasibility. On the other hand, two possible methods were adopted in blast analysis: 1) Equivalent static analysis (ESA) based on the simplified graphic method and 2) Incremental dynamic time-history analysis (IDTHA). The ESA is physically austere to use in practice for a typical industrial PC-bearing wall system. Still, it showed an overestimating trend in terms of the lateral deformation. The coupling action between precast wall segments appears to be inevitably required due to substantially large blast loads compared to seismic loads with increasing blast risk levels. Even with the coupled-precast shear walls, the design outcome obtained from the ESA method might not be entirely satisfactory to the drift criteria presented by the ASCE Blast Design Manual. This drawback can be overcome by addressing the IDTHA method, where all the design criteria were fully satisfied with precast shear walls' non-coupling and group-coupling strength, where each individual or grouped shear fence was designed to possess 1.5S_y for the seismic design.

우리나라에 대학교육이 시작되고 지금의 발전된 대학들의 모습이 있기까지는 많은 변화가 있었다. 디자인 교육도 해방직전부터 시작하여 지금에 이르기까지 많은 변화 속에 다양한 전공들이 생겨났다. '도안과'라는 전공으로 시작되어 지금은 컴퓨터 정보화 시대를 반영이라도 하듯 멀티미디어디자인 전공까지 탄생하기에 이르는 맡은 변화를 가져온 것이다. 이러한 변화와 더불어 고과과정도 개정을 거듭하게 되었고 그 속의 교육과목 또한 그 시대를 반영하면서 변화 되어왔다. 시각디자인 전공도 그 예외는 아니었다. 특히 시각디자인 전공은 시각에 전달하고자 하는 모든 매체의 수용을 해야하는 전공의 특성상 컴퓨터라는 새로운 매체를 어떻게 수용하여 가르칠 것이냐 하는 문제가 매우 중요시되고 있는 시점이다. 기존의 교육과목과 컴퓨터그래픽디자인 교육과목을 적절히 수용하여 활용하는 대학교육이 하루 빨리 정착되어야 하기 때문이다.

캘리그라피 기법은 요즘 동서양을 막론하고 다양한 분야에서 활용되어지고 있다. 광고, 패키지, 심볼마크, 로고타입, 영화포스터 등의 그래픽디자인 분야에서 심지어 현대추상회화에 이르기까지 현대인의 시각환경을 망라하고 있다. 이는 기호 및 운동표현으로서의 그 역동적이고 암시적인 표현력이 재인식되었기 때문이다. 기계적이고 인위적인 디지털환경, 획일적이고 공식화된 모더니즘적 경향에 대한 현대인의 이탈심리의 작용으로 동양적 신비감과 정서적 친근감을 갖춘 새로운 표현양식으로서 캘리그라피 기법에 주목한다. 따라서 본 논문은 캘리그라피의 역사를 조명하고, 특성을 이해하며, 현대회화와 그래픽디자인에 확장된 가치를 모색하여 시각언어와 표현양식의 확산에 기여하고자 한다. 또한 동양화적 기법과 재료, 캘리그라피 기법을 혼용한 캘리일러스트(Calli-Illust)에 대한 개념의 정립과 활용 가능성에 대해 탐색하여 일러스트의 영역을 확장하고자 하였다. 그 결과를 보면 캘리그라피 기법은 추상표현주의 회화의 한 양식으로서, 새로운 조형세계의 영역을 확장시킨 공헌을 하고 있으며, 다양한 디자인 환경 속에서 비판 없이 수용되었던 서구의 이성적, 합리적 그리고 기하학적인 기능주의 디자인 양식의 한계점을 타개할 새로운 표현양식으로 발전시킬 필요가 있음을 도출하였다. 또한 이전까지 캘리그라피의 개념에 포함되어 이해되었던 캘리일러스트에 대한 개념과 정치를 확보할 수 있었다. 캘리일러스트에 대한 연구는 이제 시작에 불과하다. 앞으로 보다 심도 있고 폭넓은 연구가 진행되어 커뮤니케이션 디자인에 다각적으로 적용될 수 있게 되길 기대한다.
