  • This study compared the structures and changes of help network between pre-service secondary teachers and pre-journalists who participated in the class related to network analysis to seek ways to activate a professional learning community. For this study, we used Exponential Random Graph Models (ERGM) based on ties as being interdependent and not conventional regression models requiring assumptions of independence between observations. The analysis subjects were 43 pre-service secondary teachers and 29 pre-journalists who responded both early and late in the help network survey. The main results were as follows. First, full models with network structural terms were better than simple models with no structural terms. Second, the effect of transitivity was not statistically significant in the pre-service secondary teachers' network. However, it was statistically significant in the pre-journalists' network. Third, there were effects of reciprocity, indegree popularity, and outdegree activity in the early help network of pre-service secondary teachers. On the contrary, there were only the positive effects of reciprocity and the negative effect of outdegree activity in the late network. Finally, this study demonstrated the possibility in educational fields' application of network structural effects and provided limitations and directions for future research.

  • Despite the many advantages of modular housing, low preference for modular housing for consumers who are familiar with RC structure leads to high construction cost of modular housing. The cost of modular buildings is about 130% of that of RC structures, so it is urgent to secure economical efficiency of modular buildings. Therefore, in this study, after calculating the savings amount of modular housing by type of construction work, economic analysis was conducted from a long - term perspective. In order to carry out the research, the authors compiled and analyzed the material cost, labor cost, and expenses incurred by each type of work by reclassifying the statement of the modular housing into the factory production and the site installation. After that, Pareto diagrams were created to find a core work that is included in the cost ratio of about 80%, and selected it as a cost reduction subject. Based on the assumption that the market size of domestic modular housing is similar to the level of modular advanced countries such as Japan and European countries, six cost reduction methods were set up that reflects the characteristics of the modular construction method and used for the expert interviews. Cost saving potentials in percentage from the interview were converted to the amount of savings that can be achieved by each type of method when applying the method. Finally, the findings of the study are expected to suggest long-term directions for technical development for modular construction and cost savings.

  • The purpose of this study was twofold: 1) to analyze the impact factor of clothing and textile-related journals by utilizing the average number of cross-citation that evaluates the relative importance of an academic journal and 2) to provide a list of journals with higher impact factor by analyzing closeness and betweenness among individual journals through graph networks. To fulfill this, a total of 10 clothing and textile-related journals, which are accredited by National Research Foundation of Korea, were analyzed. For analysis of the average number of cross-citation, the targeted research papers were limited to those published between 2008 and 2011 and they were derived from the Korea Citation Index. The software used for network analysis was R ver. 2.15. The results of the study were as follow: First, 'The Korean Society of Knit Design' was indicated as the highest rate of self-citation, followed by 'Journal of the Korean Fashion & Costume Design Association.' Secondly, the average impact power of clothing & textile-related journals was relatively lower (0.681) compared to that (1.00) of 23 journals under the human ecology discipline. 'Korean Journal of Human Ecology' was found to have impact factor of 1.24, which was higher than the average impact factor of human ecology-related journals. Lastly, together with 'Journal of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles.'

  • This study explores the importance of semantic web-based network construction in art data archiving, as well as its meaning and value in the context of arts management along with its potential for future application. The study focuses on oral history obtained from the Arko Arts Archives that contained records of the lives and artistic views of early artists. In this study, the possibility of applying semantic web-based technology to materials concerning culture and the arts was discussed in five aspects based on the results of the case analysis. First, checking the relationship and discovering hidden artists are possible by revealing relationships between characters. Second, understanding and studying society and culture at a given time is possible by interpreting the contextual meaning of information. Third, art exploration can be done broadly and deeply, encompassing various genres from the perspective of the consumer. Fourth, through art construction, history can be reconstructed using a new and rich method. Fifth, expanding the scope beyond the boundaries of art is possible through convergence and collaboration of programs that handle big data. The network data can be used in various methods, such as art history research, art planning, and creation, throughout the art ecosystem. The results of the study suggest that digitizing a large quantity of data concerning culture and the arts is meaningful in arts management as well as identifying and analyzing the relationship network among data clusters using semantic web-based technology.

  • In this paper, when a gain grating and a refractive index grating exist simultaneously in a DFB laser diode having a wavelength of 1.55 ㎛, an anti-reflection coating is applied to the right mirror surface so that ρr=0. In case of δL<0, the characteristics of the oscillation frequency and oscillation gain have been analyzed. Whenever the phase of the grating on the left side of the mirror continuously decreases by π/2, the δL value of each oscillation mode decreases by about 0.6 to the left of the graph lines of each oscillation mode. The case of the oscillation mode having the lowest threshold gain is the case of κL=10, and in this case, the mode selectivity is relatively low compared to the case of other values of κL. From κL=0.1 to κL=6, the mode selectivity and the frequency stability are excellent. As the mode selectivity is excellent, the frequency stability is excellent. Compared to the case with two cleaved mirrors, the DFB laser diode with anti-reflection coating increases the threshold gain of the oscillation mode by about 2 times, but the mode selectivity becomes about 2 times better.

  • Currently, the utilization of measurement results of the automated measurement system is very low and is at the level of providing only fragmentary measurement results. In this study, we are going to study a structure behavior analysis 3D display system with high precision and reliability for automated measurement data obtained by constructing big data by transmitting massive data values measured in real time to the cloud and using a Python-based algorithm. As a result of the study, as a system that can evaluate the behavior of a structure to a manager in real time, it provides analysis data in real time without significant restrictions regardless of the type of measurement data and sensor, and derived it as a 3D display. In addition, it was analyzed that the manager could grasp the behavior graph of the structure in real time and more easily judge the derivation of the weak part of the structure through data analysis. In the future, by analyzing the behavior of structures in three dimensions using past and present data, it is expected that more effective measurement results can be obtained in terms of repair, reinforcement, and maintenance of realistic structures.

  • Purpose The present study aimed at assessing the effectiveness of the respiratory gating method used in the flow mode and additional localized respiratory-gated imaging, which differs from the step and go method. Materials and Methods Respiratory gated imaging was performed in the flow mode to twenty patients with lung cancer (10 patients with stable signals and 10 patients with unstable signals), who underwent PET/CT scanning of the torso using Biograph mCT Flow PET/CT at Bundang Seoul University Hospital from June 2016 to September 2016. Additional images of the lungs were obtained by using the respiratory gating method. SUVmax, SUVmean, and Tumor Volume ($cm^3$) of non-gating images, gating images, and additional lung gating images were found with Syngo, bia (Siemens, Germany). A paired t-test was performed with GraphPad Prism6, and changes in the width of the amplitude range were compared between the two types of gating images. Results The following results were obtained from all patients when the respiratory gating method was applied: $SUV_{max}=9.43{\pm}3.93$, $SUV_{mean}=1.77{\pm}0.89$, and $Tumor\;Volume=4.17{\pm}2.41$ for the non-gating images, $SUV_{max}=10.08{\pm}4.07$, $SUV_{mean}=1.75{\pm}0.81$, and $Tumor\;Volume=3.56{\pm}2.11$ for the gating images, and $SUV_{max}=10.86{\pm}4.36$, $SUV_{mean}=1.77{\pm}0.85$, $Tumor\;Volume=3.36{\pm}1.98$ for the additional lung gating images. No statistically significant difference in the values of $SUV_{mean}$ was found between the non-gating and gating images, and between the gating and lung gating images (P>0.05). A significant difference in the values of $SUV_{max}$ and Tumor Volume were found between the aforementioned groups (P<0.05). The width of the amplitude range was smaller for lung gating images than gating images for 12 from 20 patients (3 patients with stable signals, 9 patients with unstable signals). Conclusion In PET/CT scanning using the respiratory gating method in the flow mode, any lesion movements caused by respiration were adjusted; therefore, more accurate measurements of $SUV_{max}$, and Tumor Volume could be obtained from the gating images than the non-gating images in this study. In addition, the width of the amplitude range decreased according to the stability of respiration to a more significant degree in the additional lung gating images than the gating images. We found that gating images provide information that is more useful for diagnosis than the one provided by non-gating images. For patients with irregular signals, it may be helpful to perform localized scanning additionally if time allows.
