초등예비교사의 생태동아리 멘토 활동이 초등학생의 환경감수성 및 환경친화적 태도에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Ecology Club Mentor Activities of Pre-service Teachers on Elementary Student's Environmental Sensitivity and Environment-friendly Attitudes)

  • This study is to find out that pre-service elementary teacher's the effects of a ecology mentor club activities to the environmental sensitivity and the effects on the environment friendly attitude of elementary school students. This study has been aimed at 25 students of 5th grade in B metropolitan city S elementary school in 2015, B educational University of elementary pre-service teachers 10 people, Elementary School Teachers10 people to apply a ecology club mentor activities to investigate a comment participated in environmental mentor club activities of elementary pre-service teachers and the environmental sensitivity and the effects on the environment friendly attitude of elementary school students. Procedures for this research was the topic for setting ecology club mentor activities of elementary school students, pre-service elementary school teachers receive consultation from field teachers and guide to ecology club mentor activities of elementary school students. Before the ecology club mentor activities, pre-test environmental sensitivity and the environment-friendly attitude of were carried out. After the experiment, post-test of environmental sensitivity and environmental friendly attitude check was carried out. Also, investigate a comment of pre-service elementary teachers participate and guide to ecology club mentor activities of elementary school students. After the experiment results are as follows. First, the ecology club mentor activities of pre-service elementary school teachers are effective to cultivate environmental sensitivity of the elementary school students. Second, the ecology club mentor activities of pre-service elementary school teachers are effective to cultivate eco-friendly attitude of the elementary school students. Third, after ecology club mentor activities of elementary school students, pre-service elementary school teachers now have a very good feeling. Based on these results, suggestions for further research are as follows. First, the variety of ecological club programs target to elementary school students are needed. Second, there is a need for continuing research on the ecology club activities.

예비교사와 경력교사의 과학 수업 관점 비교 (A Comparison of Viewpoints on the Science Lesson between Pre-service Teachers and Experienced Teachers)

  • The competence of teachers, comes out through their lesson, is one of the key factors of school education. The purpose of this study is comparing the viewpoints on the science lessons in the elementary classrooms between pre-service teachers and highly experienced teachers in order to draw implications on pre-service teacher educating system. The participants of the study are 14 junior students in a university of education and 9 elementary school teachers who are highly educated and have much career experience. Each student participant observed one video clip with science lesson of their classmate. The total number of the video subject to observation is 4. Meanwhile experienced teachers observed 1 or 2 videos which are the same to those the students watched. The participants made a class criticism according to the General Standards for Class Critique made by KICE. The in-depth analysis of the criticism yielded the following conclusions; First, pre-service teachers had narrow views on the science class mainly limited in the practical part of class, but experienced teachers had wide views covered to class-knowledge, plan, and practice. Second, most experienced teachers thought that learning is the process by which students acquire knowledge or concepts by themselves, and the main purpose of the class is to help students' learning. Meanwhile, there were many pre-service teachers who thought that conveying knowledge or concepts to students was the main purpose of the class. Third, experienced teachers thought that a good science class should maintain consistency around the learning goals from the planning, implementation, and evaluation. However, many pre-service teachers did not take the learning objectives so seriously.

초등학교 교사들의 천문학적 거리에 대한 개념 연구 (The Conceptions of Astronomical Distance of Elementary School Teachers)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 현직 초등학교 교사들의 천문학적 거리 개념을 확인하고 천문학적 거리에 대한 편차 규모와 천문학적 거리를 점점 확대 시켰을 때 정확성을 알아보기 위한 것이다. 경기도 소재 초등학교 교사 69명을 대상으로 천문학적 거리 관련 질문지를 배포하여 결과를 분석한 후 3명을 임의 추출하여 그들이 작성한 질문지를 바탕으로 인터뷰를 실시하여 그들의 천문학적 거리 개념을 분석하였다. 많은 초등학교 교사들이 지구와 달, 태양 사이의 거리를 과대 평가하였고, 항성 및 은하까지의 거리는 매우 과소평가하였으며, 천문학적 거리를 이론적(계산적) 척도와 직관적(심리적) 척도를 활용하여 추정하였다. 그들은 AU, 광년과 같은 단어를 익히 들어 잘 알고 있으나 그 의미를 정확하게 이해하지 못하는 사례도 있었으며, 지구에서 해왕성까지의 거리가 항성까지 거리 보다 더 멀다고 인식하는 사례도 있었다. 천문학적 거리를 추정할 때 상당한 변이성이 존재하며, 태양계 내에서 태양계 밖에 존재하는 천체로 거리를 늘려나갈수록 초등 교사들은 그 거리를 점점 더 과소평가하였다.

서울시 보육교사의 구강보건인식도 및 구강건강관리 행태 (Recognition and performance of preschool teachers on children's oral health in Seoul)

  • Objectives : This study was performed to investigate the recognition of the educators in preschool education institutions on children's oral health promotion. Methods : The subjects of this study included 918 preschool teachers who have been performing an oral health education program for children at preschool centers in Seoul. For this study, the survey was conducted from September 2008 to November 2008 through a questionnaire. Results : It has been found that 58.5% of the given preschool institutions have implemented an oral health promotion program and 99.1% of the respondents recognized the importance of the oral health. 53.9% of the respondents used sweets as a reward for good deeds. Regarding the behaviors of oral health promotion, the daily tooth-brushing and the implementation of a regular oral check-up accounted for 69.0% and 59.5% respectively. The subjects recognized that they have responsibility for the tooth-brushing instruction(91.6%) and provision of an oral inspection(78.3%). It has been also found that the case of performing the oral health program with older age and higher work experiences was significantly high(p<0.05). Conclusions : The recognition and performance of kindergarten teachers on children's oral health affects daily life and healthful living habits of children. Therefore oral health education program for the teachers has to be developed.

보육시설의 질적 향상을 위한 설치기준에 관한 기초연구 (A Preliminary Study of Licensing Facilitation Standards for Improvements in Quality for Childcare Centers)

  • This study examines the preliminary license and approval facilitation standards for improvements in quality for childcare centers focusing on the number of children, building space standards, facilities and equipment, and childcare program. Data from 48 caese was collected from childcare centers nationwide in Korea through a questionnaire and building plan. The first step for starting care licensing is to work out the ages and numbers of children within four or five age ranges. The second step is to work out the number of children as small, medium, or large considering staff to child ratios and building size. The Nnext step is to make a choice about childcare service quality classification as minimum, fair, or good, considering space requirements per child for the building, the classroom and the outdoor playground. The next step is to make a choice of space organization relating to service programs, considering the sleeping and eating area, indoor play area, toilet & washing facilities, classroom layouts such as cluster type, double zone type, single zone type, and others. Also, each room and entrance, office, kitchen, storage, laundry, teacher's area, and chilldren's area, need to be checked for space requirements and performances. The last step is to arrange the childcare program with the building and site plan. In conclusion childcare service quality will get better by upgrading of license regulation especially in minimum space requirements per child, corresponding with an increase in GNP and housing area per person. This is needed for childcare licensing in order to determine the quality level of childcare service.

다문화 학생을 위한 제2언어로서의 한국어교재 평가 연구 (A Study of Evaluating the KSL Textbook for Students with Multicultural Backgrounds)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 다문화 학생의 한국어교육을 위해 개발된 한국어교재평가를 통해 개선점을 모색하고 향후 개발 방향에 대한 제언을 하는 것이다. 교재평가에는 선행연구 분석을 통해 종합적으로 한국어교재를 평가할 수 도구를 활용하였다. 학교에서 표준한국어 교재를 활용한 경험이 있는 32명의 한국어 교사들이 평가에 참여하였다. 평가 도구에 제시된 51개의 세부 기준에 따라 교재의 내적 외적 구성요소별 평가를 시행하였다. 평가 결과에 의하면 학습자의 수준에 맞는 어휘 제시, 어휘의 반복적 사용, 문화에 대한 내용 확대 등이 개선점으로 지적되었다. 한국어교재 평가 결과를 바탕으로 학교급별 표준한국어교재 개발의 방향, 한국어 교원의 교재평가 전문성 제고, 평가 결과 기반 교재 선정 및 활용에 대한 제언을 제시하였다.

사이버 미술교육의 가능성 연구 : 드로잉 수업을 중심으로 (A Study on the Possibility of Cyber Art Education : Focusing on a Drawing Course)

  • 본 연구는 미술 실기 교육인 드로잉 수업을 사이버 강의를 통해 어느 정도로 구현할 수 있으며 학습자 입장에서 만족과 불만족 요인은 무엇인지 살펴보고자 했다. 드로잉 수업은 드로잉에 대한 개념적인 이해와 실제 기법을 학습하며 과제를 수행하도록 구성되었다. 드로잉 과목을 개발한 2014년과 부분 수정을 거친 2016년에 콘텐츠 만족도 평가와 강의 평가를 통해 과목 평가를 실시하였다. 그 결과, 콘텐츠 만족도와 강의 평가 모두 학교에 개설된 전체 과목들의 평균과 유사한 점수를 보였다. 세부적으로 보면, 콘텐츠 만족도에서 강의 내용 구성은 좋은 평가를 받았지만 상호작용은 낮은 평가를 받았다. 강의평가의 경우 교수의 열의와 응답 성실성은 높은 평가를 받았지만, 강의에 대한 전반적 만족도는 낮은 편이었다. 또한, 학생들의 자기 평가도 낮은 편이었다. 이러한 결과는 학생들이 더 많은 실습에 대한 요구를 가지고 있으며, 더 적극적인 상호작용을 원한다는 것을 의미한다. 본 연구는 사이버 교육 환경에서 미술 실기 교과를 시도했다는 점에서 의의를 가진다.

환경 교수학습법에 대한 과학과와 사회과 교사들의 인식 (Perceptions of Korean Science and Social Science Teachers Regarding Teachers/Learning Methods for Environmental Education)

  • To meet the objectives of environmental education, teachers especially have to perceive the importance of environmental education, comprehend various characteristics of teaching/learning methods, and be able to conduct classes by choosing proper teaching/leaming methods in accordance with a specific purpose and educational focus about environmental education. Therefore, it Bs necessary to investigate the current status of Korean environmental education and provide teachers with appropriate environmental teaching/leaming methods. To this end this study aims to examine Korean science teachers'perceptions'on environmental education and the kind of teaching/learning methods which can be utilized in environmental education. Teachers who completed the survey were 135 science teachers from middle and high schools in Seoul, and 126 social science teachers from Kyoungki province. The majors of the science teachers were in physics, chemistry, biology, geology, and earth science. Also, there was one teacher who majored in special education. For social science teachers two majors were common, geography and general sociology. After analysis of the data from the surveys the results are as follows. First, science and social science teachers in middle and high school recognized the necessity of environmental education in school education. Second, most teachers had applied environment related topics to their subject of study occasionally, but they mostly concurred that environment related contents should be included in their textbooks. Third, science teachers agreed that field trip, discussion, and the STS approach were the most proper methods for environmental education, and social science teachers agreed that field trips, inquiry, and discussion were the most appropriate methods for a teaching environment. They realized that they should decide good teaching-learning methods appropriate to the objectives and content needed for effective environmental education as they selected different teaching-learning methods according to detailed environmental objectives and contents in their textbooks.

체육수업 ICT 콘텐츠에 관한 연구 (Study on ICT utilization contents for physical education)

  • 본 연구는 체육수업에서의 ICT 활용 현황을 살펴보고, 학교 현장에서 사용가능한 체육수업 ICT 콘텐츠 구성 모델을 제시하고자 하였다. 체육과에서의 ICT 활용 교육은 열약한 체육교육 시설 및 환경을 극복할 수 있는 대안이 될 수 있을 것으로 기대되며, 운동 기능 습득에 있어 구체적인 피드백을 제공할 수 있는 자료로써 활용 가치가 높다. 체육수업에서의 ICT 활용의 유형은 웹 활용 학습과 응용 프로그램 활용 학습으로 나누어 활용되고 있다. 체육 이론수업 ICT 콘텐츠 구성 시 서버를 통해 각 학생들에게 해결해야할 문제를 제시하고 협동학습으로 문제를 해결할 수 있도록 유도한다. 팀 토론을 통해 학습문제 해결 방안을 결정 정리하여 서버를 통해 게시하면 교사와 다른 팀들은 발표된 의견에 대한 피드백을 주는 과정을 반복하여 문제를 해결한다. 반면 실기 단원 수업일 경우는 VTR자료나 컴퓨터 S/W를 활용하여 동작의 구체적 원리 등의 익힌 후 수업에 임한다. ICT와는 가장 거리가 있는 것으로 여겨져 왔던 체육 수업에 대한 교사들의 인식 전환과 함께 하드웨어 및 소프트웨어의 환경이 겸비된다면 체육교육에서도 폭넓은 ICT 활용을 기대해 볼 수 있을 것이다.

발생원에 따른 일부 학교 교실의 실내공기질 평가 사례연구 (Assessment of Indoor Air Quality of Classroom in School by Means of Source Generation - Case Study)

  • Indoor air quality has been addressed as an important atmospheric environmental issue and has caught attention of the public in recent years in Korea. Good indoor air quality in classrooms favour student's learning ability, teacher and staff's productivity according to other studies. In this study, each classroom at four different schools was chosen for comparison of indoor and outdoor air quality by means of source generation types such as new constructed classroom, using of cleaning agents and purchased furniture. Temperature, relative humidity (RH), carbon dioxide $(CO_2)$, formaldehyde (HCHO), total volatile organic compounds (TVOCs) and particulate matter with diameter less than $10{\mu}m\;(PM_{10})$ were monitored at indoor and outdoor locations during lesson. HCHO was found to be the worst among parameters measured in new constructed classroom, HCHO and TVOCs was worst in classroom with new purchased furniture, and TVOCs was worst in classroom cleaned by cleaning agents, Indoor $(CO_2)$ concentrations often exceeded 1500 ppm indicating importance of ventilation. Active activity of students during break time made the $PM_{10}$ concentration higher than a lesson, Improvements and further researches should be carried out considering indoor air quality at schools is of special concern since children and students are susceptible to poor air quality.
