This report describes recent advances in tissue culture and genetic transformation of commercial Phalaenopsis. Recently, an importance of Phalaenopsis has been increased due to its popularity with beautiful flowers and is widely used for pot plants as well as cut-flower. Its use is rapidly enlarging in worldwide. Thus, demands for the release of new elite cultivars in Phalaenopsis have been increased. During the last several decades, some critical progresses have been made in tissue culture and genetic transformation in Phalaenopsis species. Cooperation with these biotechnological methods are supposed to promote the release of commercial Phalaenopsis cultivars in the near future. Until now, no technical review on tissue culture and genetic transformation in Phalaenopsis has been reported in Korea. Therefore, we inquired the brief history and techniques of tissue culture system in Korea.

본 프로젝트는 AWS 에서 제공되는 AI/ML 플랫폼과 LLM 모델을 기반으로 문서 및 텍스트와 ppt 를 자동 변환하는 서비스로, 실생활 및 업무에서 활용이 가능하며 별도 사용자 조작 없이 사용가능한 발표자료 및 대본 제작 도구를 통해 일의 효율성을 향상시키고자 한다.

최근 들어, 웹 응용의 하나로 이미지를 통합 관리하는 이미지 거래소(Image Stock), 이미지 도서관(Image Library)과 같은 응용들이 많이 만들어 지고 있다. 이미지의 등록, 관리, 검색에는 주로 이미지 해쉬라는 기술이 구분자(Identifier)로서 쓰이며 해쉬의 분별력을 높이기 위한 연구들이 많이 진행되어지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 계층적 히스토그램을 이용한 GLOCAL(Global to Local) 이미지 해쉬 생성 방법을 제안하였다. 많은 연구들이 이미지 처리 및 기하학적 공격에 강한 히스토그램 기반의 이미지 해쉬 기법들을 제안하였으며 제안된 논문에서는 GLOCAL 해쉬 생성과 가중치(Weighting Factor)를 적용하여 해쉬의 안정성을 높이는데 기여하였다. GLOCAL 해쉬 생성 방법에 의해 기존의 알고리즘들은 좀더 풍부한 길이의 이미지 해쉬를 생성하였다. 즉, 이미지 해쉬의 근본 목적인 Identification과 Discrimination 이라는 두 가지 목적을 잘 달성하였으며 그 결과는 통계학적 가설 검정 (Statistical Hypothesis Testing)을 통해 기존의 알고리즘과 비교하였으며 대부분의 공격종류에 대해 제안된 알고리즘이 향상된 성능을 보여줌을 확인하였다.

최근 추천시스템 분야에서는 희소한 데이터를 효과적으로 모델링하기 위한 다양한 연구가 진행되고 있다. GLocal-K(Global and Local Kernels for Recommender Systems)는 그중 하나의 연구로 전역 커널과 지역 커널을 결합하여 데이터의 전역적인 패턴과 개별 사용자의 특성을 모두 고려해 사용자 맞춤형 추천을 제공하는 모델이다. 하지만 GLocal-K는 커널 트릭을 사용하기 때문에 매우 희소한 데이터에서 성능이 떨어지고 부가 정보를 사용하지 않아 새로운 사용자나 아이템에 대한 추천을 제공하는 데 어려움이 있다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 GLocal-K의 단점을 극복하기 위해 EASE(Embarrassingly Shallow Autoencoders for Sparse Data) 모델과 부가 정보를 활용한 GEase-K(Global and EASE kernels for Recommender Systems) 모델을 제안한다. 우선 GLocal-K의 지역 커널 대신 EASE를 활용하여 매우 희소한 데이터에서 추천 성능을 높이고자 하였다. EASE는 단순한 선형 연산 구조로 이루어져 있지만, 규제화와 아이템 간 유사도 학습을 통해 매우 희소한 데이터에서 높은 성능을 내는 오토인코더이다. 다음으로 Cold Start 완화를 위해 부가 정보를 활용하였다. 학습 과정에서 부가 정보를 추가하기 위해 조건부 오토인코더 구조를 적용하였으며 이를 통해 사용자-아이템 간의 유사성을 더 잘 파악할 수 있도록 하였다. 결론적으로 GEase-K는 선형 구조와 비선형 구조의 결합, 부가 정보의 활용을 통해 매우 희소한 데이터와 Cold Start 상황에서 강건한 모습을 보인다. 실험 결과, GEase-K는 매우 희소한 GoodReads, ModCloth 데이터 세트에서 RMSE, MAE 평가 지표 기준 GLocal-K 보다 높은 성능을 보였다. 또한 GoodReads, ModCloth 데이터 세트를 4개의 집단으로 나누어 실험한 Cold Start 실험에서도 GLocal-K 대비 Cold Start 상황에서 좋은 성능을 보였다.

Over the past decades, carbon dioxide concentration of the atmosphere of the world has increased significantly, and thereby the greenhouse effect has become a social issue. To solve this problem, new renewable energy sources including solar, hydrogen, geothermal, wind and bio-energy are suggested as alternatives. Among these new energy sources, bio-energy crops are widely introduced and under rapid progress. For example, corn and oilseed rape plants are used for the production of bio-ethanol and bio-diesel, respectively. However, grain prices has increased severely because of the use of corn for bio-ethanol production. Therefore, non-edible switchgrass draws attention as an alternative source for bio-ethanol production in USA. This review describes the shortage of fossil energy and an importance of switchgrass as a bio-energy crop. Also, some characteristics of its major cultivars are introduced including growth habit, total output of biomass yields. Furthermore, biotechnological approaches have been conducted to improve the productivity of switchgrass using tissue culture and genetic transformation.

본 논문의 목적은 영웅서사 콘텐츠의 글로컬 스토리텔링 전략을 탐색하고자 하는 것이다. 수많은 디지털 게임이 영웅서사를 기반적 틀로 활용한다. 그러나 게임 스토리텔링은 곧 영웅서사로 인식될 정도로 천편일률적인 것도 사실이다. 이에 본고에서는 웹툰 <좀비가 된 나의 딸>이 보여주는 새로운 영웅서사 활용방식에 주목했다. <좀비가 된 나의 딸>은 전형적인 영웅서사 플롯 위에 비전형적이며 한국적인 캐릭터를 창조했다. 세계적인 보편성을 가진 플롯과 함께 지역적 캐릭터를 내세움으로써 지역과 세계의 조화를 목표로 하는 대안적 글로컬 스토리텔링을 구현하고 있다.

본 논문에서는 GPS기반 가상펜스 시스템과 가상펜스 알고리즘에 대해서 이야기하고, GPS기반 가상펜스 시스템에서 가축의 이탈을 방지하기 위해 설정하는 영역인 경계영역을 설정하기 위한 알고리즘을 제안한다. 그리고 경계영역을 설정하기 위해 필요한 파라미터를 정의하는 실험을 진행하였으며, 속력이 빨라지면 정확도가 증가하는 GPS의 특성에 의해서 가상펜스 시스템에서 가상펜스 디바이스의 안전지역 이탈시 자극이 발생하는 시간이 빨라짐을 확인할 수 있었다.

Globalization of market has put considerable research activities in cosmopolitism and nationalism. In addition, consumer's perception of product's country of origin is widely regarded as an important influence on their shopping behavior. The objective of this paper is to investigate the joint effect of cosmopolitanism and nationalism on shopping orientation and awareness of the country of origin of fashion products among Korean young consumers. Data from 471 young Korean consumers were analyzed. According to the cosmopolitanism/nationalism measure, respondents were segmented into three groups: global, local and glocal group. Results indicated that global and glocal consumers value symbolic and non-conforming aspects of fashion product shopping and were more interested in country of origin of products than local consumers. Global consumers showed higher level of foreign product preference than local and glocal consumers. Some managerial implication for marketing practitioners was suggested.

Purpose: This paper is designed to deliver a deeper understanding of the implications of digitalization strategies in the tourism industry, exploring the opportunities and challenges in South Korea. Research design, data and methodology: To identify effective strategies, an integrated approach is employed in the research that encompasses the Glocal RPM analysis and SANEL HERMES model, as well as the examination of digital tourism factors within the DIANA economy. The data used for this study were derived from multiple sources, including literature review, participation interview, tourist survey and expert questionnaire. By conducting a tourist survey using questionnaires in this research, Glocal RPM and SANEL HERMES hybrid method is used identifying and classifying influencing factors limiting digitalization in tourism. As a final step, experts use a Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix to propose, assess, and rank a number of digitalization strategies. Results: According to the analysis, the study revealed that combining both tools contributes to a more holistic understanding of the environment, uncovering the positives and negatives from diverse perspectives. The average satisfaction percentage of experts was determined to be 38%, indicating anatal level of digitalization for tourism industry in South Korea. Conclusions: These results can serve as a valuable guide for policymakers and stakeholders in formulating targeted strategies to enhance glocalization, rationality, professionalism, and morality within the digitalization context.
