도식화 제작을 위한 연령그룹별 바디 템플릿 개발 (Develop a Correct Scaled Body Figure Templates for Technical Flat)

  • In global apparel product development, flat is one of the most important key factor for technical design communication. Proportionally correct flats based on correct scaled human body figures are imperative to be successful in the fashion business. In this study the researchers were to develop body templates for flats for Korean women body types using data from 'Size Korea 2004 (5th)', which is a Korean government apparel sizing project to analyze women's body measurements (age range 7-49). We measured 13 height measurements, 6 width measurements, 8 circumference measurements, 6 length measurements, 3 angle measurements and 5 body measurements. A body figure (i.e., schema) for each group was created by Pattern Design Software (PAD) System 4.1. Muscle was added to the schema created by Adobe Illustrator to ensure a better visualization and convenience for industry uses for flats. Developed body figure template of representative type had the largest difference in height level compared to exiting figures. It had a bigger head, lower crotch level, and longer crotch depth and hip length than existing figures.

  • 분산 환경을 고려한 보안 데이터베이스 모델에 효율적인 접근 제어와 자료가 가지는 가치의 중요도에 따라 정보의 흐름을 제어하기 위한 다단계 기법을 도입하는 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 기존의 기법들은 문제점을 내포한 상태에서 연구가 이루어졌다. 문제점은 첫째, 다단계로 보호되는 전역적인 자료에 대한 관리가 거의 불가능하다는 점이다. 둘째, 부분과 전역의 자료에 대한 과도한 접근 취소로 실제 사용자의 접근 허용여부와 접근을 원하는 자료의 상관 관계를 분리하기가 어려워 진다. 기존의 기법이 가진 문제점으로 인해 성능의 하락과 사용에 있어 유연성을 제공할 수 없다. 본 논문에서는 분산 환경에서 자료에 대한 보호를 쉽게 얻을 수 있고 전역적인 자료의 효율적인 관리와 사용자가 접근하고자 하는 자료에 대한 접근 취소가 일어나지 않는 스키마를 이용한 다단계 보안 데이터베이스 모델을 제안했다.

  • 최근 들어 태풍, 홍수, 지진, 지진해일 등 자연재해가 빈번하고 그 규모가 커지면서 세계 여러 나라들은 지구관측을 통한 지구환경 보호에 큰 관심을 기울이고 있다. 지구관측자료는 각 분야별로 형태가 다양하다는 특징을 가지고 있기에 분야별, 기관별, 국가별로 자료공유 및 교환이 어려운 실정이다. 이에, 본 연구는 지구관측그룹(Group on Earth Observation, GEO)에서 논의되고 있는 데이터 공유 및 교환 원칙 등을 참고하여 국내 실정에 맞는 메타데이터 표준화 방안을 제시하기 위해 수행되었다. 메타데이터 표준을 설계하기 위해, 전지구 관측시스템(Global Earth Observation System of Systems, GEOSS) 9개 사회편익 분야별로 이용되고 있는 지구관측자료의 메타데이터 현황을 파악하고 다양한 메타데이터를 통합하는 데 필요한 메타데이터 스키마를 설계하였다.

  • 본 논문은 차세대 수치지도 구축을 위해 지형정보 처리를 위한 미들웨어의 구현에 대한 논문이다. 구현되는 미들웨어는 분산된 이기종 공간데이터베이스를 기반으로 하여 이들간의 분산 트랜잭션 처리, 비 표준화 상태의 공간데이터의 처리, 글로벌 스키마 관리, UFID를 기반으로한 객체 관리와 분산된 대용량 데이터를 처리할 수 있는 기능을 가지고 있다. 또한, 사용자의 필요한 로직을 구현을 할 수 있도록 Corba와 RMI를 활용한 분산 인터페이스를 제공하여, 사용자 프로시져의 생성, 유지 및 호출을 할 수 있는 기능을 가지고 있다. 본 논문에서는 이기종 공간 데이터 저장소를 이용한 대용량 수치지도 관리에 적합한 분산 객체형 데이터베이스 미들웨어 구현에 대해 설명한다.

  • Usually, the Evolutionary Algorithms(EAs) are considered more efficient for optimal, system design because EAs can provide higher opportunity for obtaining the global optimal solution. This paper presents a mechanism of co-evolution consists of the two genetic algorithms(GAs). This mechanism includes host populations and parasite populations. These two populations are closely related to each other, and the parasite populations plays an important role of searching for useful schema in host populations. Host population represented by feedforward neural network and the result of co-evolution we will find the optimal structure of the neural network. We used the genetic algorithm that search the structure of the feedforward neural network, and evolution strategies which train the weight of neuron, and optimize the net structure. The validity and effectiveness of the proposed method is exemplified on the stabilization and position control of the inverted-pendulum system.

제조 데이타베이스 설계에서의 뷰 통합 방안 (A methodology for view integration in manufacturing database design)

  • Conceptual database design is an important activity because the performance of a DBMS heavily depends on the proper design of the database, and view integration is one of the most important phases of conceptual database design. During this phase, the individual views designed by separate user groups are integrated into a global view for the entire system. After the view integration, a database schema must be validated before it becomes a stable product of the design. In this paper, a methodology for view integration an validation is suggested. The individual views are modeled by entity-relationship model. The entities are integrated according to their name and domain information. After that, the relationships are merged by their constraints. We also present a methodology for checking redundant relationships which has an algorithmic description.

  • According as IT environment changes from client/server system to the open system based on web service technologies, the exchange of data and services between independent applications and service servers in web environment is observed Recently. In this points, it is necessary that Geographic Information Systems, Spatial Imagery Information Systems, Intelligent Transportation Systems, and Global Navigation Satellite Systems based on the location and geometry information are inter-related each other. But, the inter-relation of these systems is very difficult because of the closed system architecture, different information format, and the absence of interoperability technologies. In this Paper, we describe 4S integration system based web service technologies that accept the international standard as WFS, WCS, WRS of OGC (OpenGIS Consortium) and UDDI, SOAP, WSDL of W3C. In detail, we study the system architecture design and implementation of traffic information service, routing service, and tracing service. These services are consisting of the data schema based on XML and GML, various functions of each layered service, each server platform, and web server. Specially, we represent that GML is being applied to a wide range of location-based services, telematics, and intelligent transportation

  • In this paper, we investigate various factors that are relevant to design and implementation of an integrated management system for various speech corpora. The purpose of this paper is to manage an integrated management system for various kinds of speech corpora necessary for speech research and speech corpora consrtructed in different data formats. In addition, ways are considered to allow users to search with effect for speech corpora that meet various conditions which they want, and to allow them to add with ease corpora that are constructed newly. In order to achieve this goal, we design a global schema for an integrated management of new additional information without changing old speech corpora, and construct a web-based integrated management system based on the scheme that can be accessed without any temporal and spatial restrictions. And we show the steps by which these can be implemented, and describe related future study topics, examining the system.

Data Integration for DW Construction

  • Useful data being distributed over several systems, we have a problem in accessing and utilizing them. Recognizing this problem, researchers have proposed two concepts as solutions to the problem, multidatabase and data warehouse. The one provides a virtual view over the distributed data, and the latter is a materialized view of it. Recently, more attention has been paid to the latter, which is a single of distributed database, collected along a time dimension. So, the major issues in building a data warehouse are 1) how to define a global schema for the data warehouse, 2) how to capture changes from local databases, and 3) how to represent time-varying values of data item. This paper presents an integrated approach to these issues, borrowing the research results from such areas as multidatabase, active databases and temporal databases.

  • Simple Genetic Algorithm(SGA) proposed by J. H. Holland is a population-based optimization method based on the principle of the Darwinian natural selection. The theoretical foundations of GA are the Schema Theorem and the Building Block Hypothesis. Although GA goes well in many applications as an optimization method, still it does not guarantee the convergence to a global optimum in some problems. In designing intelligent systems, specially, since there is no deterministic solution, a heuristic trial-and error procedure is usually used to determine the systems' parameters. As an alternative scheme, therefore, there is a growing interest in a co-evolutionary system, where two populations constantly interact and co-evolve. In this paper we review the existing co-evolutionary algorithms and propose co-evolutionary schemes designing intelligent systems according to the relation between the system's components.
