  • The number of connected computers in the Internet, which has reached a state in which its address space is becoming insufficient is exponentially increased. Also nowadays modern Laptops and Mobile terminal are being used more and more. As hewn, the number of available IPv4 address is limited and many organizations have limited budget to use the global address. So the way to overcome such problems is using private addresses in their networks. In addition, the use of private address makes the system more secure. Moreover, we have considered about supporting of the scalability of data forwarding processes of nodes in their network especially Mobile IP data communication. Thus, we propose the integration of MPLS and Mobile IP network. Also we propose the security services of a constrained LSP for the MPLS payloads.

  • In this paper an attempt is made to understand the voltage stability when the power system networks are represented by the differential-algebraic equations (DAEs) form. The problem is analyzed by interpreting the shape of constraint manifold, based on the singular perturbation model. The global picture or constraint manifold is given to show how the local shape or constraint manifold can be used to guess for the system behavior. The gradient analysis is used systematically to obtain a local shape or the constraint manifold.

  • This paper addresses the need to incorporate the increasing trend of partnership formation among business firms into a framework for interorganizational systems. The existing frameworks for classifying interorganizational systems are either conceptually too complex to be readily applicable to IOS planning or too outdated to explain the emergence of numerous forms of global communication networks. Based upon two dimensions, namely value activity linkage and system support level, we propose a new IOS framework which classifies IOS into four types, including (1) operational cooperation, (2) resource pooling, (3) operational coordination, and (4) complementary partnership. We review select cases that fit into each IOS category and draw characteristics of systems of each category. The paper concludes with suggestions for applying the framework to the development of an IOS-enabled corporate strategy.

  • Emerging sensor-based structural health monitoring (SHM) technology can play an important role in inspecting and securing the safety of aging civil infrastructure, a worldwide problem. However, implementation of SHM in civil infrastructure faces a significant challenge due to the lack of suitable sensors and reliable methods for interpreting sensor data. This paper reviews recent efforts and advances made in addressing this challenge, with example sensor hardware and software developed in the author's research center. It is proposed to integrate real-time continuous monitoring using on structure sensors for global structural integrity evaluation with targeted NDE inspection for local damage assessment.

  • This paper describes a mechanisms for IPv6 multihomming with loadsharing broker, focusing on the interdomain scalability and load sharing with redundancy on IPv6 networks. Unlike currently-practiced IPv4 multihoming, this model does not impact the worldwide routing table size, also it provides inbound load sharing at site level based on router renumbering, and multiple-prefix assigning techniques of IPv6. The proposed model has four modules such as building interfaces MIB module, priority list maintaining module, load detection module, and RRP configuration module.

  • In RFID-based SCM, The traceability and product information is the important target data. In this paper, efficient items traceability model and the integrated model of the product between RFID network and GDS(Global Data Synchronization) network are studied. Information consists of the dynamic data generated from RFID network and static data generated from GDS Network. The integrated model will provide the interoperability between 2 kinds of networks.

  • This study identifies and evaluates inter-ministerial coordination for developing digital content technology in Korea and Japan. It is conducted through a comparative analysis between Korean and Japanese governmental organizations and their decision making process. Media content had been regulated or promoted by ministries involving culture in both countries. The digitalization of traditional media, however, blurred boundaries between the cultural, technological, and industrial spheres, so ministries involving science and technology, economy and trade, or foreign affairs started to promote digital content technology in the late 1990s. This has been the cause of conflicts among ministries and sometimes led to policy duplication, which in turn weakens policy effectiveness. The competition and coordination of ministries and agencies can be seen through establishing or amending related laws, organizations, and programs. Structural holes are founded in the networks drawn among governmental agencies in charge of digital content, particularly in the field of intellectual property in Korea and online distribution technology in Japan.

  • This paper investigates the wireless powered two way relay network (WPTWRN), where two single-antenna users and one single-antenna relay firstly harvest energy from signals emitted by a multi-antenna power beacon (PB) and then two users exchange information with the help of the relay by using their harvested energies. In order to improve the energy transfer efficiency, energy beamforming at the PB is deployed. For such a network, to explore the performance limit of the presented WPTWRN, an optimization problem is formulated to obtain the achievable rate region bounds by jointly optimizing the time allocation and energy beamforming design. As the optimization problem is non-convex, it is first transformed to be a convex problem by using variable substitutions and semidefinite relaxation (SDR) and then solve it efficiently. It is proved that the proposed method achieves the global optimum. Simulation results show that the achievable rate region of the presented WPTWRN architecture outperforms that of wireless powered one way relay network architecture. Results also show that the relay location has significant impact on achievable rate region of the WPTWRN.

  • In the classical single-image super-resolution (SISR) reconstruction method using convolutional neural networks, the extracted features are not fully utilized, and the training time is too long. Aiming at the above problems, we proposed an improved SISR method based on a residual network. Our proposed method uses a feature fusion technology based on improved residual blocks. The advantage of this method is the ability to fully and effectively utilize the features extracted from the shallow layers. In addition, we can see that the feature fusion can adaptively preserve the information from current and previous residual blocks and stabilize the training for deeper network. And we use the global residual learning to make network training easier. The experimental results show that the proposed method gets better performance than classic reconstruction methods.
