  • In this paper, the parametric study on the local displacement and the local moment due to a concentrated load is performed for stiffened plates with open ribs and the orthotropic rigidity ratio of stiffened plates is selected as the parameter. For estimating the local behavior, stiffened plates loaded on the center of plates between the ribs were considered and for the global behavior, stiffened plates loaded on the rib at the center of plates were analyzed. The Analyzed results for the local behavior of stiffened plates show that the increasing ratio of the local moment according to rib sizes is constant regardless of rib spaces and the ratio of the local displacement to the global displacement can be expressed as a function of the rib space and the rigidity ratio. The application of functions to examples shows good accuracy in comparison with the local behavior of stiffened plates loaded on the center of plates and the application to the orthotropic analysis of stiffened plates improves accuracy. Therefore, using functions proposed in this study, the local behavior can easily be estimated from the global behavior of stiffened plates with open ribs.

  • This paper is concerned with the long time behavior for the solution semiflow of the coupled two-compartment Gray-Scott equations with the homogeneous Neumann boundary condition on a bounded domain of space dimension $n{\leq}3$. Based on the regularity estimates for the semigroups and the classical existence theorem of global attractors, we prove that the equations possesses a global attractor in $H^k({\Omega})^4$ ($k{\geq}0$) space.

  • The purposes of this study were to review the effects of textiles production on the environment, and to investigate the environmental consciousness and environmental preservation behavior of textile producers. This study was conducted by reference analysis and empirical research. To develope theoretical framework of dimensions of environmental behavior, references concerned were analyzed. And for empirical study, researcher developed a questionnaire based on the free writing by producers and references. The questionnaire included problems about environmental consciousness, environmental behavior, demographic variables, and environmental variables. 135 questionnaires were used for final data analysis. ANOVA and factor analysis were used. The results were as follows: First, the level of global environmental problem consciousness was relatively high. The conscious level of water pollution caused by the waste water from textile mills was the highest, and that of desertation of mountain caused by timber cutting was the lowest. The effects of textile dyers and finishers on the environment were the highest, and that of designers were the lowest. Second, the results of reference analysis showed that the dimensions of textile producers environmental behavior were resource and energy saving, solid waste reduction, and green product production. And the results of empirical study were resource and energy saving, resource reuse or recycling, solid waste reduction, and green product production, and total variances was 62.3%. The practice was the lowest. Third, global environment problem consciousness, environment problem consciousness caused by the textile life-cycle concerned, and clothing seperate-collection or not at residing place were effective on environmental behavior, and 52.45% of environmental behavior was explained with above variables.

  • This paper aims to provide the basic data for the educational direction of global etiquette through the analyses of 1,028 articles appearing in Chosun Daily Newspaper the results of this study are as follows: 1. The articles of global etiquette were classified into the life in public places, the traffic and the public behavior. 1) The contents of the life in public places dealt with restaurants(29.3%), the neighborhood(24.7%), theaters and stadiums(9.7%), hotels and sanitary facilities(8.8%), stores(7.7%), schools and offices(7.0%), airports and public offices(6.6%) and resorts(6.2%). 2) The contents of traffic dealt with the motorists(29.3%), buses(24.7%), taxis(12.3%), subways(10.3%), trains(8.2%), elevators and pedestrian crossing(6.2%), airplanes(4.6%) and parking(4.4%). 3) The contents of public behavior contained the kindness(45.6%), the use of cellular Phone(12.4%), the concession and queues(10.8%), the greeting(10.3%), the responsibility and obeying laws(7.9%), the cleanliness(7.7%), the commercial transaction(2.9%) and the table manner(2.4%). 2. Koreans were negatively evaluated on 1) the kindness at restaurants, the neighbor and strangers and the motorists, 2) there aren't enough greetings being practiced within the neighborhood and at restaurants, 3) The use of cellular phone at theaters and stadiums, schools and offices, buses and subways, 4) The table manner at restaurants, 5) The concession and queues at theaters and stadiums, resorts, the motorists and subways, 6) The responsibility and obeying laws of the motorists, 7) the commercial transaction at restaurants and stores, 8) The cleanliness at restaurants, resorts and hotels and public sanitary facilities. According to this finding, it is recommended that we develop the educational contents and programs of global etiquette which are focused on educating the public on the connection between the living area and how the public should adapt and behave

  • With the end of global COVID-19 epidemic, hospital staff are likely to be "physically and mentally exhausted" after three years of grueling work in the fight against the epidemic. At this point, it is especially important to enable them to continue to maintain their previous proactive work behavior. This study focuses on 400 employees of various types in three-A grade hospitals in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, through the proactive motivation model. Statistical software SPSS 25.0 and AOMS 22.0 were used to analyze the survey data to test whether role modeling in hospital management can have an impact on employees' proactive behaviors, in addition to verifying the mediating role of transactional psychological contract. The results of this study show that: First, role modeling of hospital leaders has a positive effect on employees' proactive behavior and a negative effect on their transactional psychological contract; Second, transactional psychological contract has a negative effect on employees' proactive behavior; Third, the transactional psychological contract mediates the effect between role modeling of leaders and employees' proactive behavior. The results of this research add to the F-path of proactive motivation model, and provide enlightenments and implications for hospital management.

  • Miscible polymer blends still have heterogeneity in their component chain concentration in the segmental length scale because of the chain connectivity (that results in the self-concentration of the segments of respective chains) as well as the dynamic fluctuation over various length scales. As a result, the blend components feel different dynamic environments to exhibit different temperature dependence in their segmental relaxation rates. This type of dynamic heterogeneity often results in a broad glass transition (sometimes seen as two separate transitions), a broad distribution of the local (segmental) relaxation modes, and the thermo-rheological complexity of this distribution. Furthermore, the dynamic heterogeneity also affects the global dynamics in the miscible blends if the component chains therein have a large dynamic asymmetry. Thus, the superficially simple miscible blends exhibit interesting dynamic behavior. This article gives a brief summary of the features of the segmental and global dynamics in those blends.

  • Carbon nanomaterials in organic photovoltaic (OPV) cells have attracted a great deal of interest for the development of high-efficiency, flexible, and low-cost solar cells. Due to the complicated structure of OPV devices, the electrical properties and dispersion behavior of the carbon nanomaterials should be controlled carefully in order for them to be used as materials in OPV devices. In this paper, a fundamental theory of the electrical properties and dispersion behavior of carbon nanomaterials is reviewed. Based on this review, a state-of-the-art OPV device composed of carbon nanomaterials, along with issues related to such devices, are discussed.

  • Ice load acting on a icebreaking research vessel is estimated. Existing measured ice loads are used to get the global load and the local load. The global load is for analyzing the bending behavior of the vessel during ice breaking operation mode and the local load for estimating the bow structural behavior. In the paper, the global load is predicted using the data from analysis of ship motion during ice breaking. And the local load is predicted using the data from strain gage attached to bow frames.

  • The sensing and communication abilities of a mobile robot are essential to cooperative behavior in distributed autonomous robotic systems. In general, as the number of robot goes on increasing, the limitation of communication capacity and information overflow occur in global communication capacity and information overflow occur in global communication system. Therefore a local communication is more effective than global one. In this paper, we analyze information propagation mechanism based on local communication. To find an optimal communication radius, we propose three methods with different conditions. Also, to avoid chaotic behavior which occurs when a robot obtains and loses information, we find stable condition of information propagation.
