Purpose: In this logistics disturbance period, this study conducts research of distribution and logistics firms in Korea. The purpose of this exploratory research is to analyze global competitive capability influence on business performance. And give managerial implications and contribute to academics. Research design, data, and methodology: This research empirically analyzes the relationship between global competitive capability and business performance. As for business performance this research considered non-financial performance and measured with business performance fulfillment. As for antecedent variables, this research measured three global competitive capability constructs; preparation, utilization, intensive capability. And each construct includes two capability concepts. This study used 2,316 executing direct export distribution and logistics industry firmsfrom KOTRA's GCL data. This research used frequency analysis, reliability analysis, correlation analysis, and step-wise regression analysis by SPSS26. Results: The result shows that all the variables except export infra showed statistically significant. As results show, mid/long strategy & global mind of preparation capability, both communication and marketing of utilization capability and market strategy and product/goods/service of intensive capability give a positive influence on business performance fulfillment. Conclusions: Based on the results, this research provide implication for practical management, contribution to academic, and suggestion for feature research.

The global financial crisis of 2008-2009 and the COVID-19 pandemic that started in 2019 along with the slow and unstable recovery of the global economy have raised concerns about the impact of global uncertainty on the macroeconomics of the countries. The paper used the Structural Vector Autoregression (SVAR) model to examine the impact of global uncertainty shocks on Vietnam's economy from the period 2008-2022. We found that Vietnam's output dropped following the shock of global uncertainty, the peak was in the third month, and lasted for one year. Inflation in Vietnam had a rapid downturn in the first month, peaked in the seventh month, and took a long time to cease. When the economy experienced the shock of increased global uncertainty, Vietnam's policy interest rate was adjusted downward. Additionally, we included a long-term interest rate to consider the overall impact of monetary policy into account. A decreasing trend was also found with this rate. The global uncertainty shock effects acted as the aggregate demand shocks, reducing output and inflation as the uncertainty increases and vice versa, thus monetary policy can be used to regulate Vietnam's economy to deal with negative shocks without the trade-offs between output and inflation as aggregate supply shocks.

Construction firms have long sought success in the global construction market through diversifying revenue sources and project portfolios. The volume of international contracts has contributed to firms' sustained growth by mitigating the impact of the domestic market's cyclical nature. In spite of the importance of international construction, the uncertainty and dynamic changes surrounding global construction pose serious threats to global contactors. Over the last decade, the international construction industry has changed drastically in many ways, particularly including financial resource diversity, competition rules for the selection of contractors, and the terms of delivery systems requiring more competent total service providers. This paper investigates the important changes for global contractors through various documentation analysis as well as in-depth interviews with industry experts. This paper then analyzes the common strategies and lessons obtained from the cases of leading global contractors that have sustained their growth in the competitive global construction during the last decade. In addition, the authors further analyzed the comparisons between those firms and Korean contractors to discern any difference in sustaining their growth in the competitive market. It was found that those leading firms were quite proactive and responsive to changing markets by diversifying their market revenues to stabilize their revenue structure and enhancing their competency through a wide range of 'business convergence'. In addition, they significantly increased their upstream/downstream functional capabilities; hence becoming more competent service providers, able to grow in these rapidly changing market conditions. Finally, this paper benchmarks the critical strategies that support growth, which in turn can provide a strategic guideline for expansion into the global construction market.

본 연구는 코로나-19 이후로 증가할 것으로 보이는 방한 외국인 관광객의 지역별 소비 경향을 카드 소비 데이터를 데이터베이스화하여 다각적인 방면에서 분석하고 정보를 만들었다. 코로나 이전 'K-pop'과 'K-drama'의 영향으로 계속해서 증가하던 방한 외국인의 수는 코로나의 영향으로 50%가량 감소했다. 하지만 '위드 코로나'로 접어든 지금, 다시금 외국인 관광객을 유치하기 위해선 각 관광객의 니즈에 맞는 서비스를 제공해야 한다. 또한, 각 지자체에서는 외국인 관광객이 선호하는 서비스를 파악하고 각 국적별 관광객에게 맞는 서비스를 제공하는 노력을 통해 지역경제를 활성화시킬 수 있을 것이다. 현재 많은 기업에서 지역별, 업종별로 맞춤 서비스를 제공하는 것처럼, 지자체가 구체적인 데이터를 사용하여 맞춤 서비스를 제공한다면 코로나로 어려운 시기를 슬기롭게 극복할 수 있다고 생각한다.

본 논문에서는 딥러닝을 활용하여 KBO (Korea Baseball Organization)의 다음 시즌 플레이오프 진출 확률을 예측하는 Deep Neural Network (DNN) 시스템을 설계하고 구현하는 방법을 제안한다. 연구 방법으로 KBO 각 시즌별 데이터를 1999년도 데이터부터 수집하여 분석한 결과, 각 시즌 데이터 중 경기당 평균 득점, 타자 OPS, 투수 WHIP 등이 시즌 결과에 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 것을 확인하였다. 모델 설계는 linear, softmax 함수를 사용하는 것보다 relu, tanh, sigmoid 함수를 사용했을 때 더 높은 정확도를 얻을 수 있었다. 실제 2022 시즌 결과를 예측한 결과 88%의 정확도를 도출했다. 폭투의 수, 피홈런 등 가중치가 높은 변수의 값이 우수할 경우 시즌 결과가 좋게 나온다는 것이 증명되었다. 본 논문에서 설계한 이 시스템은 KBO 구단만이 아닌 모든 야구단에서 선수단을 구성하는데 활용 가능하다고 사료된다.

본 논문에서는 CNN(Convolutional Neural Network)을 활용하여 자율주행 자동차가 각 국가별 교통 규칙 및 도로 표시를 이해하고 정확한 주행을 할 수 있도록, Deep Neural Network 시스템을 설계하고 구현하는 방법을 제안한다. 연구 방법으로는 한국도로교통공단(koroad)에서 제공하는 교통안전표지 일람표 이미지를 학습하여, 차량이 자율주행을 하기 위해 요구되는 표지판을 인식할 수 있도록 하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 학습 시스템으로 도로교통표지판의 인식에 성공했으며, 이를 통해 자율주행차량이 표지판을 인식할 수 있으며, 시각장애인 및 고령운전자를 위한 지원 역시 가능하다고 사료된다.

본 논문에서는 Scikit-learn 패키지의 LinearRegression 모델과 Keras 딥러닝 모델을 활용하여 수도권 도시 환경 요인에 따른 범죄 발생 건수를 예측 모델을 제안한다. 연구 방법으로 범죄 발생과 유의미한 관계가 있다고 파악되는 수도권의 각 자치구 별 데이터셋을 분석하여, CCTV, 파출소, 가로등의 수가 범죄 발생에 유의미한 영향을 끼치는 것을 확인하였다. 독립 변수들 간에 Scale을 줄이고자 정규화를 진행했고, 종속변수의 정규성 확보를 위해 로그변환을 취했다. 손실 함수는 회귀문제에서 사용되는 'relu'함수를 사용했고 모델의 성능을 확인할 수 있는 지표로 MSE(Mean Squared Error)를 사용해 모델을 구성하였다. 본 논문에서 설계한 이 프로그램은 범죄 발생율이 높은 지역구에 경찰 인력의 추가적 배치, 안전 시설 확충 등 실무적 조치를 취함에 있어 근거를 제공할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

In adult spinal deformity (ASD) surgery, mechanical failure (MF) has been a significant concern for spine surgeons as well as patients. Despite earnest endeavors to prevent MF, the absence of a definitive consensus persists, owing to the intricate interplay of multifarious factors associated with this complication. Previous approaches centered around global spinal alignment have yielded limited success in entirely forestalling MF. These methodologies, albeit valuable, exhibited limitations by neglecting to encompass global balance and compensatory mechanisms within their purview. In response to this concern, an in-depth comprehension of global balance and compensatory mechanisms emerges as imperative. In this discourse, the center of gravity and the gravity line are gaining attention in recent investigations pertaining to global balance. This narrative review aims to provide an overview of the global balance and a comprehensive understanding of related concepts and knowledge. Moreover, it delves into the clinical ramifications of the contemporary optimal correction paradigm to furnish an encompassing understanding of global balance and the current optimal correction strategies within the context of ASD surgery. By doing so, it endeavors to furnish spine surgeons with a guiding compass, enriching their decision-making process as they navigate the intricate terrain of ASD surgical interventions.

The purpose of this study was to investigate current status of 19 general hospitals which performed the hospital social responsibility (HSR) to global health issues. The survey focused on the global healthcare supporting system & activity (including the administration, information, materials, finance, and human resources, et al.), and the government's policy in Korea. Based on the analysis of survey data, the main global health issues of general hospitals were activities of overseas volunteers (56%) and aids of the developing countries (19%). Also, general hospitals have mainly supported into eastern Asia (49%). And then, the most important goal of general hospitals related these activities kept the founding principle of a hospital for global health issues (53%). The second ranking was the social responsibility (32%) and the interchange between Korean and foreign hospitals (32%). There were many differences between general hospitals about the global healthcare supporting system & activities for HSR to global health issues. In conclusion, we suggest that most of general hospitals in Korea would be gotten prior setting the global issues for unmet-need of the developing countries around the world in the near future. This study also served as the effective way by partnership on global health issues of general hospitals for recognizing the HSR as hospital governance.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to introduce the case of using eCRF system in the Smoking Cessation Program project in Vietnam (2017). And aimed to derive the usefulness of the eCRF system and it potential for future global health business. Method : Introduce the smoking cessation program in vietnam (2017). Smoking Cessation was conducted in three provices of central vietnam Tamphu, Binhtu, Duytrinh) and eCRF was developed on the web environment by building AMP(Apache, PHP, MySQL). Dedicated application have also been developed for user. Result : Using the eCRF, the results of the program of the smoking cessation participants were recorded on the Database server. The implemented system focused on the role of a case recording platform that was simplified in function rather than an electronic version of the case report. It was useful for monitoring. Conclusions : The eCRF system was useful in global health business, and upgrading the system to reflect the feedback derived from the project could potentially be used in other projects. In addition, there are few cases where ICT is used in overseas health promotion projects using Oriental medicine, so further research is needed.
