  • The purpose of this study is to provide useful information for improving interaction between teacher and student by analysing gifted class in mathematics with the Flanders Category System. Research questions are as follow. In gifted class in mathematics, How is the result of analysis regarding interactions between the teacher and students, according to 1) Flanders' Coding system? 2) Flanders' language pattern? 3) Flanders' Index system? For this, 3 gifted classes in mathematics were recorded by video camera and analyzed by Advanced Flanders(AF) analysis program version 3.54. Results are as follow. 1) Code Category Analysis mostly consists of lecture, voluntary speaking and chaos, silence work. 2) Most class patterns are not in accordance with effective class pattern models. So teacher needs to accept student's opinion actively and give appropriate feedback. 3) In Indices Results, revised I/d ratio, teacher's question ratio, student's speaking ratio, Student question and wide answer ratio are higher than analysis standard, indirect ratio is lower than analysis standard.

  • Conventional paper-based assessment methods for Gifted students to be selected are changed into observed and recommended method, and this is focus on developing the potential of gifted students. Information is subject to the school curriculum does not address the important observation because of recommendations from teachers' attention away from ideas on how recommendations are being observed is very low. To solve this problem, existing information about gifted education gifted characteristics of the subjects studied by analyzing the proposal and recommended elements of a feasibility study is to describe. The results of this study recommended that teachers or teachers' information, observing the subjects in the field of gifted education is likely to take advantage of them when detail.

  • This study investigated a case of a gifted Saudi student, X, who was early detected through Mawhiba (The Saudi Institution of Gifted) when he was eight years old. Then, the journey continued until he became a Tamayuz member and received a scholarship in 2022 to pursue his bachelor's at one of the prestige, high-ranking universities in the USA to study Mathematics and Economics. Lack of information about the status of Saudi verbal gifted maked X case a model to explore the roles of Mawhiba's programs in supporting Saudi verbal giftedness in general and particularly in learning the English language, plus seeking the opportunities Mawhiba provided for Saudi verbal gifted to enrich their giftedness in the English language through providing extended social networking and finally stating the sample's perspective about the opportunities and services Mawhiba provided him. The three core instruments to accumulate elaboration and interpret qualitative and quantitative data were academic records, writing samples, family observation, and a written interview.

  • This study is to analyze how is the gifted in Informatics student's cognitive features different from others and present standard for screening. So ultimately, I hope this study contribute to the promising perspective and curriculum development for gifted elementary school students in information science. And hopefully give an Implications for the way forward as an information special education by study of problem solving skills that underlie the learning ability. These skills are being able to collect, analyze, synthesize and apply the informations so that make sustainable development possible. Therefor, the ultimate goal of this study is to provide better education for the gifted in Informatics student's basic learning skills.

  • Computer based industry is activated and IT education for student has developed quickly. Variety of related IT education has performed. Especially interest of Gifted of Information Science is increased, and programming education for Gifted of Information Science is carrying out in Office of Education and college. But most student are tired of learning tedious algorithm, language centered programming, and test focused learning. In this paper we offer opportunity to learn programming for students through implementing programming curriculum using Visual Basic more easily learning than other programming language, actually apply it in their homepage. and prepare ground of programming.

  • This study has produced a checker of the shortest path search problem with a total of 19 questions as a web-based computer evaluation based on the 'TRAFFIC' questions of PISA 2012. It is because the computer has been settled as an indispensable and significant instrument in the process of solving the problems of everyday life and as a media that is underlying in assessment. Therefore, information gifted students should be able to solve the problem using the computer and give clear enough commands to the computer so that it can perform the procedure. In addition, since it is the age that the computational thinking is affecting every sectors, it should give students new educational stimuli. The relationship between the rate of correct answers and the time took to solve the problem through the shortest route search process showed a significant correlation the variable that affected the problem solving as the difficulty of the question rises due to the increase of nodes and edges turned out to be the node than the edge. It was revealed that information gifted students went through algorithmic thinking in the process of solving the shortest route search problem. And It could be confirmed cognitive characteristics of the information gifted students such as 'ability streamlining' and 'information structure memory'.

  • In this research, Integrated program base on heat transfer & numerical analysis was developed. Also, reaction of gifted student and possibility of application of this program was surveyed. This program consist in three parts. The first part is computer programing language, the second part is numerical modeling of physical phenomena, and the third part is numerical analysis. 4 students are selected who belong to mathematic class of CNUE(Cheoungju National Univ. of Edu.)'s Gifted Student Education Center. The Program consists in 15th lessens, and each lessen need 4hr. Application possibility and student's satisfaction of the program are studied through the interview and report of the student. Three of four students are accomplish the goal of the progarm. Computer programing and numerical analysis parts were relatively well understood, but numerical modeling part was difficult to students. The satisfaction of the program is dependent on the characteristics of the student. Most of the student thought that this program was one of the science education program. The student who have interested in only mathematics shows that low satisfaction but the one who have interested in science or information technology shows that high satisfaction.

  • We have found out that the value of multimedia production from this points of view that the elementary information gifted children is still in a development stage and the goal of the gifted program is development of creative problem solving ability. So, the following study suggests multimedia production education as an alternative plan to the current education of elementary Information gifted children which is becoming problematic. Its goal is to produce an educational system which included process-product model which is one of the educational program for gifted children. Especially, an aspect in technical education, common skill of multimedia software and skill of product was tried in due consideration of the property of information gifted children, it was applied for information gifted education institute by a form of remote-education and weekend education. Through this study, multimedia production education was proposed for elementary school IT genius education. By incorporating gifted education model, we tried to work out IT genius education from the gifted program's point of view.

  • Today, as a daily routine such as administration/finance is operated under information system and various cyber crime against national, public, and private institutions happen, demand for information security manpower is increasing. Hence, Ministry of Education has formed an Institute of Information Security Education for the Gifted to early discover talent in the field of information security and train professional personnel with specialty and ethics in 4 universities of country in 2014. But the nascent Institute of Information Security Education for the Gifted lack systematic analyses compared to Institute of Mathematics and Science Education for the Gifted that has existed from a long time ago. In this paper, we analyze the state of the Institute of Information Security Education for the Gifted in three parts: operation, selection, education and suggest an improvement to build a practical program for effective operations and education.
