This study sought to investigate the relationship between perception, body awareness, and beauty management behavior in the untact era in their MZ generation's, and as a result of the study, it was confirmed that there is a causal relationship between variables. For the empirical analysis of the study, a survey was conducted online(Google questionnaire) in Seoul/Gyeonggi area from June 7 to 26, 2021. Of the 548 questionnaires, 512, excluding 36, were analyzed using SPSS V.21.0. Among the sub-factors of perception in the untact era, it was confirmed that the social environment perception and human relationship perception are key factors that negatively affect body consciousness and beauty management behavior, and so does self-awareness(p<.05). Next, it was confirmed that, among the sub-factors of body consciousness, appearance management awareness and appearance/body care effort were key factors that positively affected beauty management behavior, and that appearance confidence was also an important factor that positively affected beauty management behavior(p<.05). Therefore, through this study, we intend to provide basic data for product development, programs, and marketing strategies that can cope with changes in the beauty consumption market in preparation for the post-COVID era.
This study aims to investigate the impact of character collaboration product characteristics on brand awareness and purchase intention within the food and beverage (F&B) industry, with a special focus on Generation MZ's growing interest in such products. The methodology involves a comprehensive review of existing literature on character marketing, brand awareness, and consumer purchase intention, supplemented by case studies of successful character collaborations in the F&B sector. The findings reveal that character collaborations significantly impact brand awareness and purchase intentions, particularly among younger consumers like Generation MZ. These collaborations not only rekindle nostalgia but also introduce new and exciting consumer experiences, effectively attracting a wide demographic. The success of character-themed products, from Pokémon bread to Coca-Cola's League of Legends collaboration, underscores the strategy's effectiveness in boosting brand recognition and consumer engagement. The implications of this research are manifold for the F&B industry. Firstly, it highlights the importance of leveraging popular characters to forge emotional connections with consumers. Secondly, it suggests that product development should closely align with consumer preferences and market trends to maximize appeal. Lastly, it positions character collaboration as a strategic marketing tool that not only enhances product sales but also strengthens brand loyalty and facilitates sustained brand growth.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference between generations in awareness and acceptance of the commercial Korean traditional foods. the survey was carried out through questionnaire and the subjects were 316 middle school students and 299 parents of the other students in the same schools. Five middle schools in Chongju, Chungbuk were included. The results were as follow: 1) Students showed higher awareness than adults for cooked rices and much lower for gruels except pumpkin gruel. Difference between generations was existed in the acceptance for Yuk-gae-jang rice, plain rice, abalone porridge, pollack gruel and pinenut gruel. 2) Among soups, students were more aware of seaweed soup and rib-broth than adults and adults were more aware of bone broth than students. Students showed higher acceptance than adults for seaweed soup, Yuk-gae-jang, Gom-tang and rib broth, whereas adults showed higher acceptance than students for pollack soup. 3) Most of one bowl meals were highly known by both students and adults without any specific generation differences. Students liked the best sauteed rice cake and they like sauteed rice cake and Japchae(sauteed noodle with mixed vegetables) much more than adults. 4) There was no generation difference in the awareness of grilled and pan fried foods Grilled and pan fried foods were favored more by students than adults except grilled laver which was highly favored by both groups. 5) Generation difference was appeared in the awareness of Kimchi and salt fermented fishes, especially salt fermented fishes were much more known by adults than students. And also the acceptance of adults were higher than that of students for the most Kimchi and salt fermented fishes.
Purpose: The purpose is to expand the role of local senior welfare centers as a place for intergenerational integration by analyzing the intergenerational awareness and satisfaction of participants in the intergenerational integration program. Research design, data and methodology: The empirical study conducted a survey on 205 participants (114 seniors, 91 teenagers) of the generation integration program being implemented at a senior welfare center located in Seoul. Results: Regarding the satisfaction of participants in the generation integration program, both the elderly and youth showed that the more contact they had between generations, the higher the satisfaction with participation. In the case of the elderly, the better the subjective health status, the older the respondent, and the lower the educational level, the higher the satisfaction, and the more frequently they met youth, the higher the satisfaction. On the other hand, the longer the youth participated in the program, the weaker their negative emotions toward the elderly, and the higher the degree of visits to grandparents, the higher their satisfaction with participation. Conclusions: The biggest determinant of satisfaction with the generational integration program at senior welfare centers is the intensity and frequency of contact between the elderly and youth generations.
Purpose: This study was conducted to develop an instrument measuring awareness of osteoporosis. Methods: The process included construction of a conceptual framework, generation of 86 preliminary items, verification of content validity, selection of secondary items, verification of construct validity and extraction of final items. The 86 items were reviewed for content validity by two groups of experts and were tested to evaluate inter item correlation coefficient by two groups of adult women. From June to August 2007, data were collected from 383 adult women who lived in Seoul and provinces in Korea. Data were analyzed by performing item analysis, Varimax factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha. Results: There were 31 items in the final instrument categorized into 5 factors. The factors were labeled as "preventive behaviors (10 items)", "risk factors (5 items)", "characteristics of osteoporosis (6 items)", "improving bone health (5 items)", and "bone physiology (5 items)". Cumulative percent of variance was 60.92% and eigen values ranged from 1.20 to 12.44. Cronbach's alpha was .948 and ranged from .804 to .917. Conclusion: Validity and reliability of the scale are confirmed in this study showing its utility for measuring awareness of osteoporosis for women. Utilization of the scale will also contribute to designing an appropriate prevention program for osteoporosis.
Modern fashion shows the trend of various styles and the period focusing on only product functions is changed to the period focusing on consumer's sensibility. Consumers show different sensitivities and preference by individual at the stage cognizing and recognizing the stimulation of given image and the method of objective measurement based on the fashion sensible vocabularies is necessary to measure fashion sensibility. Therefore, this research is significant to examine differences of preference to classic fashion by generation and awareness for sensible vocabularies and suggest methodology of design sensible evaluation research through the quantitative evaluation objectifying subjective sensibility. For the method of research, precedent theses related to classic, concept and characteristics of classic in books and definition and characteristics by generation were examined, the best 3 domestic portal sites were selected and adjective vocabularies and images related to classic were collected from 2010 to 2014. Among the 206 adjectives collected, vocabularies whose average is more than 3.5 were drawn by 5-point Likert scale for fashion expert group. And, among the total 306 images collected, 21 representative images were selected by preliminary investigation of fashion expert group. For the classic images and vocabularies selected, frequency analysis, factor analysis and variance analysis were conducted by SPSS 19.0. The results of analysis are as follows. Preference to classic fashion image by generation was analyzed. As a result, both of two generations selected classic fashion as the most classic one. The images of the next orders were analyzed. As a result, Y generation selected basic classic fashion image which is casual with high activity as a classic one. Baby boom generation selected ancient classic fashion image, so there were differences in preference for classic by generation. As a factor analysis on classic adjective vocabularies, they could be divided into 5 factors such as basic form, attractive form, traditional form, vintage form and active form and they verified that credibility of all measuring variables for classic sensible vocabularies was achieved. Differences of classic sensible vocabularies by classic fashion image and generation were examined. As a result, generation and classic fashion image made a significant effect on five factors. Therefore, there were differences of the awareness on classic fashion images and sensible vocabularies among the generations and this thesis can be a fundamental material which objectifies subjective sensibility and suggests the methodology of new research.

Purpose: The is study aimed to examine the impact of consumer ethnocentrism on reasoned action and brand equity on Generation Z in Vietnam. Research design, data and methodology: A quantitative study was undertaken on 302 Generation Z members. The data for the study was collected using a Google Form-based questionnaire from December 2021 to January 2022. Descriptive statistics, Cronbach's alpha, and structural equation modeling were among the data analysis techniques employed. The results: The results show that consumer ethnocentrism has a direct positive impact on reasoned action (subjective norms and attitude toward domestic goods) as well as an indirect positive impact on brand equity, including brand awareness, brand quality, and brand image. Major findings: According to the findings of this study, governments should continue to push propaganda and advocacy programs, call for national pride and encourage home consumers to support and use domestic goods. Domestic brands must strengthen their ties to the community and invest in community-oriented programs that promote domestic consumption. Vietnam's domestic fashion brands need to promote the exploitation of community-oriented and nationalistic content to call on domestic consumers to support them to consume domestic brands.

Event driven service (EDS) is one of such services administrating different functions of multiple service providers according to the user situation. This paper first describes the service model of EDS, a User-centric Service for multiple service provider environments over the next generation networks. The multiple provider environments stimulates the unified identifier management, namely unified identification (U-ID), to enable users to be provided network services without awareness of multiple providers. Combining these two concepts, i.e., EDS and U-ID, the designed structure of EDS with U-ID and related procedures are given. Finally, the implementation results tested on Korea Advanced Research Network (KOREN) are described.
This research analyzed the Chinese style design embodied in the collections of the new generation of fashion designers shown during the Shanghai Fashion Week to improve the understanding of Chinese style and the modernization of Chinese design. The research questions were 1) studying the development of the Chinese fashion industry chronologically and investing young designers' current situation, 2) investigating young designers' awareness of Chinese style and analyzing Chinese style design in collections. A literature and case study were conducted as the research method. The literature study focused on the books about the Chinese fashion industry and history, newspaper, articles, and so on. The case study was conducted among 63 Chinese style collections in 2016-2020 SFW by investigating fashion magazine reviews, articles, and so on. The findings are as follows: 1) Young Chinese fashion designers' awareness of Chinese style has three characteristics; the nonmaterial tendency from decreasing stereotyped images, combination of traditional culture and local youth culture, and commercialization with trends. 2) Chinese elements, including natural, character, and cultural elements were predominantly used in the concept, pattern, and shape. Nonmaterial characteristics were identified in concept, cultural combination characteristics in concept, shape, color, material, and pattern, and trend commercialization in shape, color, and pattern. In conclusion, Chinese young fashion designers had strong national consciousness and new awareness of Chinese style fashion in decreasing the stereotyped images of China. Thus, they used more varied expressions. Meanwhile, they faced difficulties in expressing nonmaterial Chinese elements by balancing them with Chinese style and globalization.
The research aimed to provide accurate and basic data comparing different perceptions of head family's food and food for religious ceremonies depending on age with the goal of sustaining traditional Korean food in the future. The gender distribution of the participants was 274 Males (42.5%) and 370 Females (57.5%). Age distribution was 211 participants (32.7%) in their 20s, 215 participants (33.3%) in their 30 to 40s, and 220 participants (34%) in their 50 to 60s. The older generation appeared to beaware of the definition of head family or 'The eldest's house of head family' as well as the concept of one's family five generations ago with more reductive and emphasis than imaginary concept of head family of the younger generation. The image of the head family was perceived as 'head family's food' in younger generations and as 'eldest son' in older generations. Family role and meaning most often manifested as 'succession of tradition' and 'cultural symbols' in younger generations, respectively, whereas older generations responded 'hallmark of the head family'. Family ancestral rites and head family's food had positive effects on awareness of head family's food. Moreover, those with experience in practicing family ancestral rites responded that head family's food should be more popular. People who viewed family's food more positively were more open with the idea thathead family's food could go mainstream. In conclusion, positive perception of head family's food and traditional pride are crucial environmental factors in public support of popularizing head family's food to the public.
