The current research examines whether consumers' preference for credit card benefits (i.e., general credit card benefits vs. credit card benefits related to green life) differs according to their pro-environmental disposition. Specifically, we predict that for consumers with high (vs. low) pro-environmental disposition, their preference for credit card benefits related to green life will be higher, while preference for general credit card benefits will not be different between low and high pro-environmental disposition groups. An online survey (N = 487) was conducted to test the hypotheses. Consistent with the hypotheses, the results indicate that (1) respondents with high pro-environmental donation intention, as compared to those with low pro-environmental donation intention, had higher preference for credit card benefits related to green life; and (2) there was no significant difference in preference for general credit card benefits between high and low pro-environmental donation intention groups. We suggest an important insight into how credit card companies approaching ESG issues can increase their consumers' preference for credit card benefits relevant to green life, considering consumers' individual differences such as pro-environmental disposition.

In this study the economic impacts of government support of shipping industry in the labor rich country are appraised in a general equilibrium model. Shipping industry subsidies (which are supposed to be supplied by lump-sum tax) will decrease disposable income by shifting productive resources from traded goods to the comparatively disadvantageous transport sector, and at the same time reduce the implicit tariff effect by lowering transport costs. The net effect of shipping industry subsidies is to increase social welfare because the latter positive effect of shipping industry subsidies is to increase social welfare because the latter positive effect dominates the former negative effect. Such an increase in social welfare can never be expected from competitive traded goods industry subsidies in the case of which social welfare will actually decrease because of inefficient resource allocation resulting from the subsidies. In addition it is worth noting that the subsidies on the most capital intensive shipping industry will rectify unevenness in income distribution by raising relative price of labor contrary to subsidies on capital intensive traded goods.

Numerical integration is an efficient approach for nonlinear dynamic analysis. In this paper, general category of the implicit integration errors will be discussed. In order to decrease the errors, Dynamic Relaxation method with modified time step (MFT) will be used. This procedure leads to an alternative algorithm which is very general and can be utilized with any implicit integration scheme. For numerical verification of the proposed technique, some single and multi degrees of freedom nonlinear dynamic systems will be analyzed. Moreover, results are compared with both exact and other available solutions. Suitable accuracy, high efficiency, simplicity, vector operations and automatic procedures are the main merits of the new algorithm in solving nonlinear dynamic problems.

It is expected that the electronic money will be a major payment method in the forthcoming electronic finacial system. However, in order for the electronic money to have a widespread use among general public in their dialy life there are many properties that should be satisfied beforehand. In this study, we first analyze the characteristics of the existing electronic money systems, compare various proposals on the electronic money system so far, and then suggest a desirable model of developing an electronic money system for Korean financial institutions. It has been found that the model we propose satisfies the general requirements of the electronic money system. The results of this study will aid in various activities of technology development and standardization. Furthermore, this study will support the initiative effort of Korea in developing inter-country electronic money system.

In clinical fields, single screen-film system will be generalized according to high speed and high image qualify of intensifying screen film system in future. In single screen-film system, for imaging the best image, we must choice good film according to speed and gredient. Double screen-film system will be replaced single screen film system in general radiography. Author has thought that single screen film system will be developed new diagnosis area according to X-Ray films.

In this study, Mike11 will be used as the numerical model where a data assimilation method will be applied to it. This paper aims to gain an insight and understanding of data assimilation in flood forecasting models. It will start with a general discussion of data assimilation, followed by a description of the methodology and discussion of the statistical error forecast model used, which in this case is the linear regression. This error forecast model is applied to the water level forecast simulated by MIKE11 to produced improved forecast and validated against real measurements. It is found that there exists a phase error in the improved forecasts. Hence, 2 general formula are used to account for this phase error and they have shown improvement to the accuracy of the forecasts, where one improved the immediate forecast of up to 5 hours while the other improved the estimation of the peak discharge.

My contribution to these proceedings summarizes a general overview on High Resolution Shock Capturing methods (HRSC) in the field of relativistic hydrodynamics with special emphasis on Riemann solvers. HRSC techniques achieve highly accurate numerical approximations (formally second order or better) in smooth regions of the flow, and capture the motion of unresolved steep gradients without creating spurious oscillations. In the first part I will show how these techniques have been extended to relativistic hydrodynamics, making it possible to explore some challenging astrophysical scenarios. I will review recent literature concerning the main properties of different special relativistic Riemann solvers, and discuss several 1D and 2D test problems which are commonly used to evaluate the performance of numerical methods in relativistic hydrodynamics. In the second part I will illustrate the use of HRSC methods in several astrophysical applications where special and general relativistic hydrodynamical processes play a crucial role.

Purpose - Retail companies are turning from one type of retailer to multiple business categories through various reasons, such as taking advantage of existed types of retailers' channel distribution, information and know-how, and entering into new types of retailers. However, there is few research conducted about multiple type of retailers. Research design, data, and methodology - In this research, the references, data and new stores on E-mart will be collected. The dissertation, annual report, statistical data, land-book of E-mart will be also collected to confirm whether E-mart has made any acquisition towards another company. Results - There is a tendency to new stores expansion, store enlargement and prolonging the opening preparation of new stores, based on the core of new stores expansion of E-mart as a general supermarket type of retailers. Based on general supermarket type of retailers, E-mart begins to diversify its retail company's type of retailers. Conclusions - As a general supermarket which is the most important type of retailers, E-mart is expanding into SSM type of retailers to seek new power of growth while slowdown growth is shown in general supermarket type of retailers. The expansion into SSM type of retailers would be a wise option as a retail company, E-mart is able to keep growing in the future.
