Inadequacy of riboflavin intake among Koreans had been pointed out repeatedly in most dietary and nutritional surveys in Korea. The consumption rate of dairy products has been increasing markedly in recent years. Milk and milk products are known to be a good source of the vitamin which can easily be destroyed by the sunlight. Total riboflavin content of the pasteurized and homogenized milk, both plain and flavored, and the milk products were measured by the Lumiflavin method. It ranged from $62.4{\mu}g$ riboflavin per 100g of homogenized milk to $195.9{\mu}g$ for vanilla flavored ice cream. In general milk products in the form of cream contained about three times as much riboflavin as plain milk. The rates of destruction of riboflavin in chocolate milk and white milk in clear glass bottle and in polyethylene pack were different when measured in 30 min intervals after exposure to bright sunlight for two hours. In the case of the plain milk, the riboflavin content decreased rapidly and remained only about a quarter of the initial value within an hour of the exposure period. The destruction rate slowed down after the first hour of the exposure and resulted about 90% destruction of riboflavin in two hours. The chocolate milk however exhibited a protective effects of the riboflavin from the sunlight. It retained 65% of the initial riboflavin after an hour of the exposure to sun and 55% ofter two hours. Two most widely used milk containers, clear glass bottle and polyethylene pack were about equally affected by the sunlight.
It is a general trend everywhere that the uses of vegetable oils are increasing due to the fact that they are effective in curing and preventing symptoms of high blood pressure and various heart failure conditions. At the same time the concept that oxidative rancidity is caused by the oxidation of unsaturated fatty acid moieties whose subsequent decomposition gives rise to various undesirable, sometimes toxic compounds is now well accepted. Linolenic acid (C, 18:3) is one of highly unsaturated and readily oxidizable fatty acid. The content of this essential polyunsaturated fatty acid in perilla seed oil (PSO) was found to be as high as 48% while only 1.5% in sesame seed oil (SSO). In this experiment the oxidative stability of PSO was compared with that of SSO. The experimental test group were as follows: A) Stored at different temperatures, namely $4^{\circ}C,\;30^{\circ}C,$ and $60^{\circ}C,$ B) Stored at room temperature $(20{\pm}5^{\circ}C)$ ; a. protected from sunlight and air, b. exposed to air without sunlight c. exposed to sunlight but protected front air, d. completely exposed to both air and sunlight. The following results were obtained; 1) It was found to be most stable against oxidation to store both PSO and SSO under the low temperature $(4^{\circ}C)$ condition. According to P.V. measurements it was found to be safe to keep both oils up to $30^{\circ}C$ for at least 8 weeks. When exposed to air, sunlight and high temperature $(60^{\circ}C)$, P.V. of PSO reached there peak values, which were much higher than those of SSO. This explains much of its instability as compared to SSO against oxidation. 2) The effect of high temperature $(60^{\circ}C)$ on A.V. was found to be more striking than those of all the other storage conditions. The condition of refrigeration was most effective in keeping A.V. low for both oils as was the case in P.V. 3) For both oils, I.V. decreased throughout the experimental period (8 weeks). The range of decrement was larger for PSO than SSO. 4) There was no significant change in the compositions of fatty acids of SSO caused by various experimental storage conditions. But for PSO the compositions of stearic, oleic and linoleic acid were decreased, whereas linolenic acid was increased proportionally.
Purpose: This study was conducted in order to analyze the dietary habits and food intake status according to the prevalence of depression in adults. Methods: A total of 496 subjects, 224 men and 272 women aged 50 to 100 years were recruited from more than 13 cities in Korea. The questionnaires consisted of general characteristics, dietary life status, food intakes, the mean mini dietary assessment and satisfaction with food-related life questionnaire of the subjects to ask according to the degree of depression. Depression status was evaluated according to the Korean form of the Geriatric Depression Scale (K-GDS). Results: All subjects were divided into depression or normal groups; the prevalence of depression was 13.8% (male) and 23.9% (female). People aged 65 or older were more likely to have higher prevalence of depression and to be bereaved. People in the depression group had poor appetite, almost never dined-out, and ate alone. The food intake of miscellaneous cereals, beans, tofu, chicken/duck meat, cabbage, carrot/amber, fungi, apple, pear, strawberry, grapes, and banana was significantly higher in the normal group compared with the depression group. In particular, significantly higher intake of vegetables and fruits was observed in the normal group. In addition, subjects in the depression group ate more fatty meat and were more dissatisfied with food-related life than those in the normal group. Conclusion: The results of this study imply that the prevalence of depression may affect the dietary habits, food intake, and dietary behaviors in the older adult population.

Rearing knowledge is a significant factor of relevance for rearing practice, and assessment of rearing knowledge and practice is important for infant parents. The author adopted the Child Rearing Knowledge Scale (CRKS) and Child Rearing Practice Scale (CRPS) that were developed and validated by Saramma & Thomas. According to the international linguistic validation process, pilot testing was done based on 20 infant's mothers in one Oketani massage center and one public health center. Descriptive statistic methods and Wilcoxon Rank Sum Test were employed to evaluate the level and compare the mean score according to general characteristics of subjects of the tools. Reliability and validity were tested by Cronbach's alpha and Spearman Correlations. The mean age of the subjects was 33.94 (${\pm}2.99$) years and the mean age of babies was 3.35 (${\pm}0.58$) months. The understanding level of the Korean version of the CRKS and CRPS was 1.80 (${\pm}0.65$) and 1.33 (${\pm}0.54$), respectively. In addition, the CRKS and CRPS were relatively easy to use. The mean score of the CRKS was 22.50 (${\pm}4.89$), which was a moderate score, while the mean score of the CRPS was 30.75 (${\pm}2.04$), which was high. The Cronbach's alpha values of the CRPS were as follows: feeding, 0.71; growth and development, 0.64; cleaning and protection 0.68; infant stimulation, 0.77. There was a significant correlation between infant stimulation of the CRPS and growth and development of the CRKS (r=0.530, p=0.016). The CRKS score of medical staff was significantly higher than that of non-medical staff (p=0.04). The CRKS and CRPS are expected to be used in clinical or community care practice as easy-to-use tools that are easy to respond to.

In this study, we analyzed the factors influencing internal marketing at hospitals on job satisfaction and customer orientation among nurses in order to provide basic data necessary for management of nursing personnel. From December 26, 2018 to January 4, 2019, the study surveyed 255 nurses at a general hospital in Gyeonggi Province. For data analysis, frequency analysis, factor analysis, correlation, and linear regression analysis were performed using the SPSS 21.0 program. First, the results of this study show that the effect of marketing inside the hospital on job satisfaction was statistically significant. Second, marketing inside hospitals was found to have a statistically significant effect on customer orientation. Thirdly, it was found that the effect of job satisfaction on customer orientation was statistically significant. Fourth, the effect of job satisfaction parameters on the relationship between marketing and customer orientation within the hospital 1st and 2nd stages appeared to have a statistically significant positive (+) impact, and three steps were found to be independent variables. The regression coefficients for organizational vision and future image, organizational attributes and systems, communication, and education/training system by sub-factors of internal marketing at hospitals significantly appeared.

This study examined the relationship between delegation preparedness and job satisfaction in comprehensive nursing care service wards. Data were collected from 126 nurses who had been working in the comprehensive nursing care wards of five general hospitals located in Seoul and Gyeonggi Province, from May 26 to June 7, 2017. Data were analyzed using independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, and Pearson's correlation coefficients. The delegation education showed a significant difference in delegation preparedness (t=-2.77, p=.006). A statistically significant positive correlation was observed between delegation preparedness and job satisfaction (r=.43, p<.001). Job satisfaction was significantly correlated with understanding the task (r=.26, p=.003), delegation of the task classification (r=.45, p<.001), understanding the delegation (r=.35, p<.001), and delegation skill (r=.34, p<.001), which are the sub-domains of delegation preparedness. Delegation preparedness was correlated significantly with interactions (r=.46, p<.001), task requirement (r=.36, p<.001), professional status (r=.33, p<.001), administration (r=.31, p<.001), and pay (r=.20, p=.026), which are sub-domains of job satisfaction. These results highlight the need for schools and clinical settings to provide continuous education to improve the delegation preparedness for nurses in comprehensive nursing care wards.
The purpose of this study was to derive the proposals and to suggest the exposure dose reduction scheme on pediatric head CT scan by analyzing and comparing CT dose index (CTDI) and the national diagnostic reference levels. From January 2014 to December, 231 children under 10years who were requested a pediatric head CT scan with head injury were examined. Research methods were to research and analyze the general characteristics kVp, mA test coverage $CTDI_{vol}$ and DLP referring to dose reports and electronic medical record (EMR). As a result, 7.4%(17 patients) of the total subjects in $CTDI_{vol}$ showed a national diagnostic reference levels exceeding. For DLP 41.6%(96 patients) in excess was relatively higher than $CTDI_{vol}$. DLP was exceeded more than about 60% that is higher than the CT dose index presented by Korea Food & Drug Administration. it is cause of high DLP that scan range increased more than about 30% wider than the standard test coverage presented in Health Insurance Review & Assessment Service. In conclusion, it is able to significantly lower the dose if it is complied with checking the baseline scan range of pediatric head CT scan and appropriately adjusting the protocol.

The effect of chlorella addition on the quality characteristics of processed cheese was investigated. Chlorella processed cheese was prepared in the different ratio of chlorella (0.5% (w/w) and 1.0% (w/w)). Chlorella processed cheese was stored at $10{\pm}1^{\circ}C$ and evaluated for the quality characteristics including general composition, pH, the number of microorganisms, oiling off, meltability, rheological properties, color, and sensory evaluation. Contents of moisture, protein, fat, fat in dry matter, and pH values were not different from those of control cheese. Microorganisms were not detected. The degree of oiling off showed no significant difference, but meltability decreased significantly (p<0.05). Hardness and springiness gradually increased significantly (p<0.05), while cohesiveness gradually decreased significantly (p<0.05). The L (lightness) values and the a (redness) values decreased with increasing chlorella contents, but the b (yellowness) values increased with increasing chlorella contents, so color expressed yellowish green. Compared to control cheese made by conventional way, QDA scores of color and mouthfeel of chlorella processed cheese were significantly higher (p<0.05) and the most favorite quality characteristics were shown in the processed cheese with 0.5% (w/w) chlorella (CPC1). These results suggested that health-oriented chlorella processed cheese would be made by the addition of the chlorella.
This study contains the scientific justification of the forest aromatic bath(F.A.B) in the stage of introduction and the general concepts using in the design of the forest aromatic bath ground, especially definition of F.A.B, basic activities and facilities, carrying capacity and criteria deserving much consideration in designing of it. Terpene, the origin of F.A.B appearance, is made clear that it is efficacious in our physical health. The forest (coniferous one) mainly exhales terpene about noon and morning and seasonally spring and summer time. The most influential factor to exhale terpene is the climate one-wind, temperature, sunlight, humidity. Forest canopy and leaves are related to the concentration of terpene in the forest area. The basic activities for F.A.B are mostly static, and so are the facilities. The forest aromatic bath room(F.A.B.R) which a person must be given for F.A.B. is $169m^2$, 59 persons per ha. This $169m^2$ is the carrying capacity of F.A.B. The sites of F.A.B.G. might better be located around the national and provincial park, mountain torrent, hot spring zone and the waterfronts. Meanwhile, forest management in F.A.B.G should be enforce in order to keep on constantly maintaining the exhalation quantity of terpene.
Objectives: This study aimed to examine the point prevalence of anxiety, depression and the associated risk factors in hospitalized patients with cancer. Methods: A total of 114 patients with cancer who admitted to the Cancer Center in St. Mary's Hospital were enrolled for a day. The patients were asked to complete Hospital Anxiety and Depression Scale(HADS). Sociodemographic and cancer related clinical variables were also evaluated. Results: The point prevalence of anxiety and depression was 10.5% and 34.2%, respectively, as assessed with HADS. Logistic regression models revealed that distant metastasis was significantly associated with anxiety in patients with cancer and previous chemotherapy and Low socioeconomic status were significantly associated with depression. Conclusions: Our results indicate that more than one third of patients with cancer suffer from either anxiety or depression. In addition, previous chemotherapy as well as low socioeconomic status and distant metastasis were associated risk factors of anxiety and depression, respectively. These findings suggest the need for screening and systematized psychosocial intervention for psychological distress in hospitalized patients with cancer.
