LIDAR 데이터와 수치지도를 이용한 3차원 건물모델링 (3D Building Modeling Using LIDAR Data and Digital Map)

  • 본 논문은 LIDAR 데이터와 수치지도를 이용한 점 기반의 3차원 건물모델링 방법을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 본 논문에서 제안한 방법은 크게 건물점 추출, 지붕유형 분류, 지붕유형별 3차원 모델링 단계로 나뉜다. 먼저 수치지도의 건물 외곽선과 LIDAR 데이터를 중첩시켜 건물폴리곤 내에 있는 LIDAR 점들 중에서 지면과 벽면 및 수목을 제거하여 건물의 지붕점만을 추출한다. 추출된 건물 지붕점들은 ODR(Orthogonal Distance Regression) 방법을 통해 평면근사하여 점들이 평면상의 점이면 평면형(flat) 지붕으로 분류하고 그렇지 않으면 박공형(gable)과 원통형(arch)으로 근사한 후 평균제곱근오차가 작은 쪽으로 지붕유형을 결정한다. 실험결과 본 연구에서 제안한 방법은 3가지 유형의 단순 지붕유형을 성공적으로 분류하였으며, LiDAR 데이터와 수치지도를 이용한 자동 3차원 건물모델링의 가능성을 제시하였다.

  • 제1소구치 또는 제2소구치 발치 후 발치공간 폐쇄 시 치아이동의 양상 즉, 치아이동방향과 이동량을 구명하는 것이 본 연구의 목적이었다. 상악 우측 인공 치조골부에 제1소구치 또는 제2소구치를 제외한 중절치부터 제2대구치 까지 실험용 치아들을 식립하고 bull loop이 형성된 반쪽 호선에 15도의 gable bend를 부여한 후 전치부를 후방견인하여 발츠공간을 폐쇄시켰다. 실험 전후에 교합면 방사선사진과 시상면 방사선사진을 촬영하고 인공치조골부 하단에 식립된 기준표지점에 중첩하여 이동방향 및 이동량을 계측하였다. 그 결과 제2소구치 발치군의 전치부후방이동량이 제1소구치 발치군에 비해 더 적었으며 구치부의 고정원 소실 및 고정원의 근심설측회전량은 제2소구치 발치군에서 더 크게 나타났다.

축산시설의 지역경관적 이미지에 관한 연구 (A Study on Local Landscape Image of Barn Architecture)

  • The goal of this study is to recreate the identification of landscape image through the Agricultural Architecture in rural area. Most of them are not kept with houses in traditional village and the other structures in garden area of Korea, because they are located in the isolated field or placed near along the local street, are designed as a very heavily designed building, and are covered by different materials and color against village architecture. I researched cattle barns in both Korea and Germany of what they have had images in a distance-view points of local area, so that I might find a suitable image of Barn Architecture with topography of rural areas. I surveyed rural agricultural buildings with different point of views on landscape structure, architectural form and materials, and conditions animal welfare. There are three results from this paper as follows: First, the placement of animal barn in garden area is isolated to village so that it may keep a clean environment of village, which it makes non appropriate to land using and village view. Second, the architectural form makes a different image to the village building, because it has an oversize against houses in village or has no rhythm and dividing form of simple gable barm. Third, the barn architecture is better to consider of eco-friendly materials with animal welfare concept design, when it starts to design the barn in the field.

Internal pressure in a low-rise building with existing envelope openings and sudden breaching

  • This paper presents a boundary-layer wind tunnel (BLWT) study on the effect of variable dominant openings on steady and transient responses of wind-induced internal pressure in a low-rise building. The paper presents a parametric study focusing on differences and similarities between transient and steady-state responses, the effects of size and locations of dominant openings and vent openings, and the effects of wind angle of attack. In addition, the necessity of internal volume correction during sudden breaching, i.e., a transient response experiment was investigated. A comparison of the BLWT data with ASCE 7-2010, as well as with limited large-scale data obtained at a 'Wall of Wind' facility, is presented.

AUTOMATIC IDENTIFICATION OF ROOF TYPES AND ROOF MODELING USING LIDAR

  • This paper presents a method for point-based 3D building reconstruction using LiDAR data and digital map. The proposed method consists of three processes: extraction of building roof points, identification of roof types, and 3D building reconstruction. After extracting points inside the polygon of building, the ground surface, wall and tree points among the extracted points are removed through the filtering process. The filtered points are then fitted into the flat plane using ODR(Orthogonal Distance Regression). If the fitting error is within the predefined threshold, the surface is classified as a flat roof. Otherwise, the surface is fitted and classified into a gable or arch roof through RMSE analysis. Based on the roof types identified in automated fashion, the 3D building reconstruction is performed. Experimental results showed that the proposed method classified successfully three different types of roof and that the fusion of LiDAR data and digital map could be a feasible method of modelling 3D building reconstruction.

  • This study aims to present the application of pv system for apartment buildings. Regarding to the domestic housing politics to improve residing environment and effective use of country land, apartment buildings have been constructed since early of 1790's. Now apartment is taking over 50% out of entire housing in Korea. PV System of apartment buildings has been developed periodically and recently gable roof or canopy is popular which pv installation is more favorable. For balcony part with double skin facade sassy window, it has a preferable condition to install on the wall depending on the window direction. In case of superhigh floor apartment buildings where facade is mostly double skin facade of curtain wall system, pv module can replace the traditional curtain wall and will reduce architectural materials and obtain various out look design thereof. So, the purpose of this research is a basic study for clean energy source and present to applicability of pv systems for apartment buildings in preliminary design step.

  • In reccent years the large capacity underground power transmission systems have been required gradually with the increasing demand of electric power, the increasing electric power system and the environmental limitations of an overhead transmission line in the city. But it is difficult to get the space for the underground power transmission lines because of complicated distributions of underground public facilities. But as the superconducting power cables have the large power transmission capacity, the high power transmission density, and low loss characteristics in comparison with a conventional cable, the necessity for their development are increasing. In this paper, the results of the conceptual design of HTS power cable is described.

18세기 미국 전통주택의 실태에 관한 연구 - 디어필드의 사적지를 중심으로 - (Study on the Traditional American House in 18 Century -focusing on the Hitorical Place of Deerfield -)

  • This study has been done to know concretely the designs of traditional American houses in eighteen century and their specific styles based on Deerfiled town and I found out followings. First, the traditional eighteen century houses in Deerfied had a 'L'shape exterior view and a flat facade and the front door made a symmetry with sash windows. A chimney had been installed in the middle of the roof and it usually had a gable with natural materials in a simple manner. Secondly, the most important factor to design houses was a front door and it had been decorated in luxury and in a display. Lastly, the traditional American houses in eighteen century had been greatly influenced not by the that of British which is commonly taken but by the various cultural backgrounds which represented regional characteristics and was rather simple.

Vulnerability of roofing components to wind loads

  • The vulnerability of roofing components of contemporary houses built in cyclonic regions of Australia is assessed for increasing wind speeds. The wind loads and the component strengths are treated as random variables with their probability distributions derived from available data, testing, structural analysis and experience. Design details including types of structural components of houses are obtained from surveying houses and analyzing engineering drawings. Wind load statistics on different areas of the roof are obtained by wind tunnel model studies and compared with Australian/New Zealand Standard, AS/NZS 1170.2. Reliability methods are used for calculating the vulnerability of roofing components independently over the roof. Cladding and batten fixings near the windward gable edge are found to experience larger negative pressures than prescribed in AS/NZS 1170.2, and are most vulnerable to failure.

1937$\sim$1992년 한국(韓國)에서 시유(市乳)의 포장재료(包裝材料) 구성 및 형태 등의 변화(變化)에 대한 사적(史的) 고찰(考察)-1 (Historical Investigation on Development of Material Structures, Types and Sizes etc. of Packaging of Market Milk in Korea during 1937$\sim$1992-1)

  • 한국의 시유 포장은 1937년 7월부터 현재 서울우유협동조합(그 당시 경성우유동업조합)이 1홉(hob : 180 ml, 0.048 standard gallon) 유리병에 지전(paper cap) 또는 콜크마개(cork cap)로 사용한 것이 최초였다. 그 이후(1945$\sim$1972)로 2홉 유리병 360 ml도 생산되었고 마개도 철전(iron cap)이나 plastic film을 씌운 뚜겅이 관모(egret, pappus)형태로 바뀌었다. 그 밖에 우유병이 부족하면 사이다병, 맥주병 등 유색유리용기가 사용되기도 하였다. 우유생산업체는 한국에서 서울우유협동조합만이 유일하게 있다가 1964년 3월 남양유업(주)이 창립되고, 1969년 현재 해태유업(그 당시 대한식품공사)이 설립, 1971년 5월 현재 매일유업(주)(그 당시 한국낙농유업) 등 여러 업체들이 점진적으로 설립되어 각 종의 낙농제품(dairy products, dairy manufactures)이 포장되어 생산되기 시작하였다. 그리고 1971년에 서울우유협동조합에서 처음으로 삼각형 폴리 에틸렌필름용기가 사용되었고 1972년에는 남양유업(주)의 종이용기인 Tetra pak 멸균팩을 수입하여 최초 사용하였다. 1974년경부터 사각형 폴리에틸렌필름포장과 플라스틱병 용기가 처음 선보였으며, 1977년에는 종이포장인 게이블톱 카튼팩(gable top carton pack)이 서주산업(주)에 의해 최초로 소개된 후 급격히 시장점유율이 확대되었고 용량에서도 180 ml에서 200 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml, 1,000 ml의 대형으로 서서히 바뀌었으며 그에 맞춰 소비량도 변화되었다. 그리고 파스퇴르 우유 490 ml의 포장을 1987년 9월에 국내 최초로 몸체는 고밀도 폴리에틸렌병(high density polyethylene bottle), 뚜껑은 저밀도 폴리에틸렌을 사용하였고 1992년 7월 남양유업은 다우(DOW)란 상품명으로 polyethylene병에 235g, 450g, 930g을 넣어 4각형 형태로는 최초 시판하였다.
