  • Some properties of a transitive fuzzy matrix are examined and the canonical form of the transitive fuzzy matrix is given using the properties. As a special case an open problem concerning idempotent matrices is solved. Thus we have the same result in a intuitionistic fuzzy matrix theory. In our results a nilpotent intuitionistic matrix and a symmetric intuitionistic matrix play an important role. We decompose a transitive intuitionistic fuzzy matrix into sum of a nilpotent intuitionistic matrix and a symmetric intuitionistic matrix. Then we obtain a canonical form of the transitive intuitionistic fuzzy matrix.

  • The notion of falling fuzzy filters of a BE-algebra is introduced based on the theory of falling shadows and fuzzy sets. Relation between fuzzy filters and falling fuzzy filters are presumed and characterized them interms of subsets of a sample space.

  • Scientific involvement in complex decision-making system, characterized by multicriteria phenomena and fuzziness inherent in the structure of information, requires suitable methods. Especially, when powerful dependent criteria are introduced and their weighted value structure is ignorant, the systems are become more complex. This paper presents a fuzzy dependenced relation model and fuzzy measure model for this kind of multicriteria decision-making. The model we propose is based on fuzzy relation and fuzzy measure in fuzzy systems theory. For the application of the model, a numdrical example is quoted.

  • In this paper, we devoted to study the existence and uniqueness of nonlinear fuzzy neutral integrodifferential equations. Moreover we study the fuzzy solution for the normal, convex, upper semicontinuous, and compactly supported interval fuzzy number. The results are obtained by using the Banach fixed-point theorem. An example is provided to illustrate the theory.

  • Computation with fuzzy numbers is a prospective branch of a fuzzy set theory regarding the data processing applications. In this paper we consider an open problem about distributivity of fuzzy Quantities based on the extension principle suggested by Mares (1997). Indeed, we show that the distributivity on the class of fuzzy numbers holds and min-norm is the only continuous f-norm which holds the distributivity under f-norm based fuzzy arithmetic operations.

  • This paper shows that fuzzy set theory can be useful in modeling and solving job scheduling problems with uncertain processing times. The processing times are considered as fuzzy numbers(fuzzy intervals or time intervals) and the fuzzy Delphi method is used to estimate a reliable time interval of each processing time. Based on these time estimates, we then propose an efficient methodology for calculating the optimal sequence and the fuzzy makespan.

  • In [9], the concept of fuzzy sets is applied to the theory of Ζ-ideals in a BCI-semigroup (it was renamed as an IS-algebra for the convenience of study), and a characterization of fuzzy Ζ-ideals by their level Ζ-ideals was discussed. In this paper, we study further properties of fuzzy Ζ-ideals. We prove that the homomorphic image and preimage of a fuzzy Ζ-ideal are also fuzzy Ζ-ideals.

  • Bankruptcy prediction has been one of the important research topics in finance since 1960s. In Korea, it has gotten attention from researchers since IMF crisis in 1998. This study aims at proposing a novel model for better bankruptcy prediction by converging three techniques - support vector machine(SVM), fuzzy theory, and genetic algorithm(GA). Our convergence model is basically based on SVM, a classification algorithm enables to predict accurately and to avoid overfitting. It also incorporates fuzzy theory to extend the dimensions of the input variables, and GA to optimize the controlling parameters and feature subset selection. To validate the usefulness of the proposed model, we applied it to H Bank's non-external auditing companies' data. We also experimented six comparative models to validate the superiority of the proposed model. As a result, our model was found to show the best prediction accuracy among the models. Our study is expected to contribute to the relevant literature and practitioners on bankruptcy prediction.

  • In this article, we prove coincidence point theorems for comparable 𝜓-contractive mappings in ordered non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces utilizing the recently established concept of 𝓣-comparability and relatively weaker order theoretic variants. With a view to show the usefulness and applicability of this work, we solve the system of ordered Fredholm integral equations as an application. In the process, this presentation generalize and improve some prominent recent results obtained in Mihet [Fuzzy Sets Syst., 159 (6), 739-744, (2008)], Altun and Mihet [ Fixed Point Theory Appl. 2010, 782680, (2010)], Alam and Imdad [Fixed Point Theory, 18(2), 415-432, (2017)] and several others in the settings of partially ordered non-Archimedean fuzzy metric spaces.
