간호대학생들의 기본간호실습태도에 대한 주관성 연구 (An Inquiry into Subjectivity of Fundamental Nursing Practice Attitude)

  • The study was designed to identify the attitude of nursing students to fundamental nursing practice through Q-methodology. A Q sample was developed through a review of the literature and interviews. Forty statements made up the finalized Q-sample. The P sample consisted of 25 nursing students in S College. Q statements were written on separate cards and were given to the 25 subjects to sort according to degree of agreement or disagreement. The Q-sort by each subject was coded and analyzed with QUANL PC Program. The analysis discovered three major attitudes, namely "type 1: passive demand", "type 2: active self-confidence", "type 3: practical application". The correlation was .213 between type 1 and 2, .409 between type 1 and 3, .379 between t ype 2 and 3. The results revealed three different types of fundamental nursing practice attitude; 1) Passive demand type: they were not satisfied with fundamental nursing practice time, the number of persons, practice machines. They presented anxiety and worry through fundamental nursing practice. Therefore, they will presenta passive attitude of clinical practice experience. 2) Active self-confidence type: they experienced pride as a nursing student and fascination as a nurse was an acquired recognition. 3) Practical application type: they practiced that fundamental nursing skill was applied their family and oneself. Therefore they had tension through initial fundamental nursing practice but they gained self-confidence and interest through practical study. In conclusion, the researchers suggest that the education program would be more effective if it was planned considering to each types of attitude of nursing students for fundamental nursing practicer fundamental nursing practice

3D simulation of railway bridges for estimating fundamental frequency using geometrical and mechanical properties

  • There are many plain concrete arch bridges in Iran that have been used as railway bridges for more than seventy years. Owe to the fact that these bridges have not been designed seismically, and even may be loaded under high-speed trains, evaluation of fundamental frequencies of the bridges against earthquake and high-speed train vibrations is necessary for considering dynamics effects. To evaluate complex behavior of these bridges, results of field tests are useful. Since it is not possible to perform field tests for all arch bridges, these structures should be simulated correctly by computers for structural assessment. Several parameters are employed to describe the bridges, such as number of spans, length of spans, geometrical and material properties. In this study, results of field tests are used for modal analysis and adapted for 64 three dimensional finite element models with various physical parameters. Computer simulations show length of spans has important effect on fundamental frequencies of plain concrete arch bridge and modal deformations of bridges is in longitudinal and transverse directions. Also, these results demonstrate that fundamental frequencies of bridges decrease after increasing span length and number of spans. Plus, some relations based in the number of spans (n) and span length (l) are proposed for calculation of fundamental frequencies of plain concrete arch bridge.

댐 축방향 분할도가 3차원 필댐 지진응답해석 결과에 미치는 영향 (Effects of a Degree of Discretization in the Direction of Longitudinal Dam Axis on the Results of 3-D Fill Dam Response Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of a degree of discretization in the direction of longitudinal dam axis on the results of three dimensional fill dam dynamic analysis. In this study, the three dimensional dynamic analyses of the existing 'H' dam which is modeled with a different degree of discretization were carried out. From these results, the fundamental frequency of the dam and the responses at the dam crest such as acceleration and settlement were compared and analyzed. It was concluded that the size of finite element discretized in the direction of the longitudinal axis mush be smaller than 1/8 of dam length in order to obtain the reasonable fundamental frequency and response of acceleration and mush be smaller than 1/10 in order to obtain the reasonable settlement behaviors from the three dimensional dynamic analysis of the fill dam.

기본간호학 실습교육현황과 실습내용 개선을 위한 조사 연구 (A Study on the Contents of Fundamental Nursing Practice)

  • The purpose of this study was to provide fundamental data for determining contents of Fundamental Nursing Practice and developing desirable bedside nursing techniques for clinical nursing areas. Subjects for this study were 86 nurses who were employees of two university hospitals located in Seoul and a district area. Data were collected by questionnaires. Items of Fundamental Nursing Practice were classified into 72 items according to the result from content analysis of 9 textbooks of Fundamental Nursing. The results are as follows : 1) Items which above 80% of respondents practiced during the school inside practice or clinical nursing practice course were axillary temperature measurement, radial pulse measurement, respiratory rate measurement, application of oral hygiene, hand-washing technique, application of hot and cold bags, intramuscular injection technique, open bed-making, soap enema method, application of nelaton catheterization and oral and nasal suction methods. 2) Above 90% of respondents replied that all items except temperature measurement and bed-making were requisite contents for Fundamental Nursing Practice. Above 10% of respondents replied oral and rectal temperature measurement and bed-making were unnecessary content. 3) Above 90% of respondents replied that operating methods of all items except isolation technique, admission and discharge procedures, and retention enema in the Fundamental Nursing Practice course and clinical situation were consistent. The main reasons that respondents did not apply methods which they learned in the Fundamental Nursing Practice course to the clinical situation were 'insufficient time', 'colleagues were using different methods', 'insufficient supply of instuments' or 'inappropriate appliances'.

Fundamental Frequency Estimation in Power Systems Using Complex Prony Analysis

  • A new algorithm for estimating the fundamental frequency of power system signals is presented. The proposed algorithm consists of two stages: orthogonal decomposition and a complex Prony analysis. First, the input signal is decomposed into two orthogonal components using cosine and sine filters, and a variable window is adapted to enhance the performance of eliminating harmonics. Then a complex Prony analysis that is proposed in this paper is used to estimate the fundamental frequency by approximating the cosine-filtered and sine-filtered signals simultaneously. To evaluate the performance of the algorithm, amplitude modulation and harmonic tests were performed using simulated test signals. The performance of the algorithm was also assessed for dynamic conditions on a single-machine power system. The Electromagnetic Transients Program was used to generate voltage signals for a load increase and single phase-to-ground faults. The performance evaluation showed that the proposed algorithm accurately estimated the fundamental frequency of power system signals in the presence of amplitude modulation and harmonics.

기본적 분석방법을 통한 주식 투자 전략에 관한 시뮬레이션 연구 (A Simulation Study of the Investment Strategy in Stocks on Fundamental Analysis)

  • This paper is about the investment strategy in stocks on Fundamental analysis. Financial data of stocks from January 2. 2001 through October 30. 2009 were utilized in order to suggest the investment strategies. Fundamental analysis was used in stocks-related strategy. The portfolios are composed of 3 criteria such as the buying criteria score, exchange cycle and selling conditions. The buying criteria score is determined assigned to each stock index according to the satisfaction condition of 15 parameters selected considering the grue's criteria. The stock buying alternatives has two options with buying stocks over 13 points and over 14 points of buying criteria score. The seven exchange cycles and three selling methods are considered. So total number of portfolios is 42($2{\times}7{\times}3=42$). The simulation has been executed about each 42 portfolios and we figured out with the simulation result that 83.33% of 35 portfolios are more profitable than average stock market profit(203.43%). The outcome of this research is summarized in two parts. First, it's the exchange strategy of portfolio. The result shows that value-oriented investment (long-term investment) strategy yields much higher than short-term investment strategies of stocks. Second, it's about the exchange cycle forming the portfolios. The result shows that the rate of return for the portfolio is the best when exchange cycle is 18 months.

Optimization of modal load pattern for pushover analysis of building structures

  • Nonlinear Static Procedures (NSPs) have been developed as a practical tool to estimate the seismic demand of structures. Several researches have accomplished to minimize errors of NSPs, namely pushover procedures, in the Nonlinear Time History Analysis (NTHA), as the most exact method. The most important issue in a typical pushover procedure is the pattern and technique of loading which are extracted based on structural dynamic fundamentals. In this paper, the coefficients of modal force combination is focused involving a meta-heuristic optimization algorithm to find the optimum load pattern which results in a response with minimum amount of errors in comparison to the NTHA counterpart. Other parameters of the problem are based on the FEMA recommendations for pushover analysis of building structures. The proposed approach is implemented on a high-rise 20 storey concrete moment resisting frame under three earthquake records. In order to demonstrate the effectiveness and robustness of the studied procedure the results are presented beside other well-known pushover methods such as MPA and the FEMA procedures, and the results show the efficiency of the proposed load patterns.

시소러스 국제표준 기반 기본 범주의 확장에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Expansion of Fundamental Categories Based on Thesaurus International Standards)

  • 본 연구는 시소러스 국제표준(ISO 25964-1) 제11절 "패싯 분석"과 제5절의 "시소러스에 있어서의 개념 및 그들의 범위"를 분석하여, 제11절에 예시된 기본 범주(대상, 물질, 에이전트, 행위, 장소, 시간 등)를 확장하는 데에 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 온톨로지의 최상위 개념(구구리일랑(溝口理一郞)의 상위 온톨로지인 YAMATO)과 기존의 기본 범주들(Ranganathan의 PMEST, FRBR 제3집단, CRG 13 범주 등)을 참조하여, 기본 범주에 정신적 실체를 명시적으로 추가하고, 일부를 조정하여 기본 범주를 확립했다. 또한, 확립된 기본 범주를 Ranganathan의 PMEST의 구체성/추상성과 구구리일랑(溝口理一郞)의 YAMATO의 독립성/종속성을 기반으로 재편성 및 구조화하였다. 최상위 범주를 독립 실체와 종속 실체로 이분하고 하위 구분으로 전자는 28범주, 후자는 2범주를 두었다. 본 연구의 결과는 기본 범주의 활용이 기대되는 분류, 택소노미, 시소러스 등의 제어 어휘 및 정보검색용 온톨로지를 생성할 때 최상위 개념으로서 재활용되고 참조할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

미적분학의 기본정리의 교수학적 분석에 기반을 둔 지도방안의 탐색 (An exploration of alternative way of teaching the Fundamental Theorem of Calculus through a didactical analysis)

  • 미적분학의 기본정리는 미분과 적분을 연결하는 중요한 정리로서 다양한 개념적 요소들을 포함하고 있고 그 가운데 학생들이 이해하기에 쉽지 않은 것들이 있어 교수학적 연구 대상으로 관심을 끌어 왔다. 본 연구에서는 미적분학의 기본정리의 이해의 요소와 인지과정에 바탕을 둔 교수학적 대안을 제시하기 위해 미적분학의 기본정리의 역사적 발달과정과 선행연구를 통하여 미적분학의 기본정리의 이해의 요소를 알아보고, 미적분학의 기본정리의 증명과정에서 누적함수와 변화율 개념을 분석하였다. 이를 바탕으로 미적분학의 기본정리의 지도방법에 대한 교수학적 대안과 교육적 시사점을 제안하였다.

기상 후 시간에 따른 음도 변화에 대한 연구 (A Research on Time-Dependent Fundamental Frequency Variations after Waking up in the Morning)

  • This study was intended to analyze difference of vocal folds movements between upon wakeup and in several hours later in the morning. The difference of vocal fold movements was compared with fundamental frequency and a range of fundamental frequencies from maximum to minimum. The participants were 30 female adults between 20 and 29 years old. Voice samples were collected from their reading sentence (Jeong, 1993). The first sampling was conducted within 5 minutes after wakeup, while the second on 1 hour after the first sampling. Finally, the third voice sample was collected on 6 hours after the second sampling. The results of this study were as follows: First, fundamental frequency of the participants were by hour significantly time-dependent(F=7.843). Post-hoc multiple comparison (LSD) was conducted to determine when the difference could be observed. The result showed significant differences between upon wakeup and 6 hours later (p< .001) and between 1 hour later and 6 hours later (p< .05). Second, there were a significantly time-dependent ranges of fundamental frequencies of participants by hour (F=3.130). According to the results of the LSD analysis the significant differences in range of fundamental frequencies were found between upon wakeup and 1 hour later and also between wakeup and 6 hours later (p< .05). The results above indicate that vocal fold movements upon wakeup is different from those of several hours later.
