This study was investigated the effects of pain and functional recovery when low frequency electrical stimulation and aquatic exercise applied to sciatic nerve injured rats. The rats were assigned into four groups; Group I(n=20, control group), Group II(n=20, low frequency electrical stimulation group), Group III(n=20, aquatic exercise group), Group (n=20, applied low frequency electrical stimulation and aquaatic exercise group). Each IV group measured hot plate examination, sciatic nerve functional index(SFI), c-fos.. In hot plate examination, group II, IV showed effect than group Iat 14 days after injured(p<0.01) and group III, Ⅳ showed effect than group I at 21, 28 days after in-jured(p<0.01, p<0.001). In SFI, group II, III, IV showed effect II, III, IV than group I and group IV showed effect than group II at 14, 21 days after injured(p<0.001). group II, III, IV showed effect than group I at 28 days after injured(II = p<0.01, III and IV = p<0.001). Effects of pain and function recovery when low frequency electrical stimulation and aqua-exercise applied to sciatic nerve injured rats, group Ⅳ were most effected to sciatic nerve injured rats. As well as group II and III were effected to sciatic nerve injured rats.

The application of neuroimaging techniques in psychiatry started in 1970s with the use of CT(computerized tomography). Neuroimaging methods can be categorized as anatomical and functional. Recently, attentions are focused on the functional neuroimaging methods those could give us various important informations. But results regarding to psychotropic medication effect on neuroimaging are not sufficient. Here, the study results of the medication effect with the functional imaging methods are mainly revieued.

The polyoxyethylene compounds were added into the photographic emulsion during the physical ripening of photo sensitive silver halide crystal in this emulsion. The polyoxyethylene compounds improved the photographic properties of the film to a great extent increasing the photo sensitivity and decreasing the fog density.

순수 함수형 언어의 선언적 특성과 지인 계산의 특성을- 유지하면서 side-effect, 입출력, 예외처리, 비절정성 등을 프로그래밍 하는 것은 순수 함수형 프로그래밍 연구의 오랜 숙제였다. 1989년에 개발된 모나드 프로그래밍 기법은 이 문제를 해결할 수 있는 가능성을 제시하고 있다. 본 고에서는 함수형 모나드 프로그래밍의 기본원리와 순수 함수형 언어 Haskell을 이용한 여러 응용 프로그래밍 기법에 대해서 소개한다.

A clinical analysis was carried out for 37 patients who was treated for functional headache with HWANGRYUNHAEDOKTANG(黃連解毒湯) herb-acupuncture in Seoul Red-Cross Oriental Hospital. The results were as follows; 1. The effect of HWANGRYUNHAEDOKTANG(黃連解毒湯) herb-acupuncture for functional headache was turned out to be better effective the young and middle age than the old. 2. Man was better effective than woman 3. There were effective at tention headache and migraine. 4. There were effective within 6 monthes from onset. 5. There were availability in according with increasing treatment. Through the clinical consequences of therapy mentioned above, we came to confirm regular therapeutic effects for functional headache and hereafter, it is considered that a clinical comparative study on oriental cure and herb-acupuncture therapy for headache has to be more progressed than now.

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of functional ability on relocation among the elderly. Longitudinal data from the Asset and Health Dynamics among the Oldest Old (1993, 1995) were analyzed for 6,225 respondents aged 70 or older. Among functional ability measures, difficulties in advanced activities of daily living (i. e., making telephone calls, taking medications, and managing money), lower body activities (i. e., walking several blocks, climbing one flight of stairs, pulling or pushing large objects, and carrying over 10 pounds), and household activities of daily living (i. e., preparing hot meals and shopping for groceries) were the predictors of increased residential move. Difficulties in basic activities of daily living (i. e., bathing, dressing, getting in and out, and using the toilet) were strongly related to increased entrance into an institutional care facility. Efforts to enhance the independent living of the elderly in the community setting should target the compensation of these functional difficulties.

Motilitone$^{(R)}$ (DA-9701) is a new herbal drug that was launched for the treatment of functional dyspepsia in December 2011 in Korea. The heterogeneous symptom pattern and multiple causes of functional dyspepsia have resulted in multiple drug target strategies for its treatment. DA-9701, a compound consisting of a combination of Corydalis Tuber and Pharbitidis Semen, has being developed for treatment of functional dyspepsia. It has multiple mechanisms of action such as fundus relaxation, visceral analgesia, and prokinetic effects. Furthermore, it was found to significantly enhance meal-induced gastric accommodation and increase gastric compliance in dogs. DA-9701 also showed an analgesic effect in rats with colorectal distension induced visceral hypersensitivity and an antinociceptive effect in beagle dogs with gastric distension-induced nociception. The pharmacological effects of DA-9701 also include conventional effects, such as enhanced gastric emptying and gastrointestinal transit. The safety profile of DA-9701 is also preferable to that of other treatments.

Functional inner-wear being currently sold is being made without regard to the characteristics of various sports events. The purpose of this study is to identify this problem and to investigate the effect of sports taping on golf swing when wearing functional inner-wear. The subjects of this study were 8 male golfers belonging to Korea Professional Golf Association, and Launch monitor and Trackman were used to find out golf club action, ball pitch, distance, etc. There are three types of clubs: driver, wood, and iron, and the first experiment was carried out using only functional inner-wear. In the second experiment, we experimented with functional inner-wear after sports taping, and we compared and analyzed the distance depending on each experiment, the speed of the ball and the club, and the accuracy of the club face. The results of the study were as follows. As a result of driving distance, according to the presence of sports taping on functional inner-wear, there was a statistically significant difference in the driving swing and wood swing, for club and ball speed, there was a statistically significant difference only in the driving swing. Regarding the accuracy by the presence of sports taping on inner-wear, there was a statistically significant difference in the driving swing, wood swing, and iron swing. In conclusion, the sports taping in the functional inner-wear had a positive effect on golf performance improvement, and we hope that golf inner-wear these two specifications combing will be developed in the future.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the effects of structured information provided on self care knowledge, self care performance, and functional status. Method: The data were collected using self care knowledge and performance assessment tool, and functional status assessment tool from both group hospitalized patients at D hospital in Busan. Results: There was a significant improvement(p=.032) in self care knowledge in experimental group compared to the control group. But there were not improvement in self care performance and functional status in experimental group compared to the control group. But comparing to pretest and posttest in experimental group, There were significant improvement in self care performance (p=.003) and functional status(p=.013). Conclusion: Structured information provided showed increased in the degree of knowledge, self care performance, and functional status. But the effect size of program which had been developed in this study was estimated small, so there is needed to modify this program and to research repeatedly.
