연료전지차량용 연료개질기에 대한 최적연료비교연구 (A Comparative Study of Various Fuel for Newly Optimized Onboard Fuel Processor System under the Simple Heat Exchanger Network)

  • PEMFC(Proton Exchange Membrane Fuel Cell) 차량은 미래 청정수송기관으로 각광받고 있지만 수소스테이션의 인프라부족으로 현재는 수소를 공급해주는 연료개질기를 함께 장착하여 구동하여야 한다. 탄화수소연료로부터 수소를 생산하는 연료개질기를 대상으로 다양한 연구가 진행되어왔는데 기존연구에서는 열적중립 조건의 ATR(Auto-Thermal Reformer) 반응기에 대해 집중적으로 분석하거나 공정최적화부문에서 최대수소생산을 목표로 주로 열효율을 목적함수로 설정하여 평가해 왔다. 본 연구에서는 100 kW PEMFC용 연료개질기를 대상으로 간단한 소형시스템을 얻기 위해 외부 유틸리티가 필요없는 단열열교환망으로 구성된 조건에서 기존 열효율이 아닌 수소효율을 새로이 정의하여 가솔린, LPG, 디젤 각 연료에 대해 최적운전조건을 도출하였다. 가솔린의 경우 기존 비교문헌보다 9.43% 연료절감효과를 얻음으로써 제안한 목적함수의 타당성을 입증하였고, 추가적으로 수소효율 및 열교환량, 열교환면적에 대한 민감도 분석을 실시하였다. 마지막으로 제안한 시스템을 한국시장에 적용할 경우 LPG 연료를 사용하는 연료개질기가 가장 경제적임을 알 수 있었다.

이동식수소스테이션 정량적 위험성평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Quantitative Risk Assessment of Mobile Hydrogen Refueling Station)

  • In July and October of this year, the government announced the 'Green new deal plan within the Korean new deal policy' and 'Strategies for proliferation of future vehicles and market preoccupation'. And, in response to changes in the global climate agreement, it has decided to expand green mobility such as electric vehicles and hydrogen electric vehicles with the aim of a "net-zero" society. Accordingly, the goal is to build 310 hydrogen refueling stations along with the supply of 60,000 hydrogen vehicles in 2022, and the hydrogen infrastructure is being expanded. however, it is difficult to secure hydrogen infrastructure due to expensive construction costs and difficulty the selection of a site. In Korea, it is possible to build a mobile hydrogen station according to the safety standards covering special case of the Ministry of Industry. Since the mobile hydrogen station can be charged while moving between authorized place, it has the advantage of being able to meet a large number of demands with only one hydrogen refueling station, so it is proposed as a model suitable for the early market of hydrogen infrastructure. This study demonstrates the establishment of a hydrogen refueling station by deriving a virtual accident scenario for leakage and catastrupture for each facility for the risk factors in a mobile hydrogen station, and performing a quantitative risk assessment through the derived scenario. Through the virtual accident scenario, direction of demonstration and implications for the construction of a mobile hydrogen refueling station were derived.

산소희박환경에서 과산화수소를 이용한 디젤개질 가능성 탐구 (Study on Possibility of Diesel Reforming with Hydrogen Peroxide in Low-Oxygen Environments)

  • 잠수함 및 수중무인체계 등의 산소희박환경에서 연료전지를 통한 효과적인 전력생산을 위해서는 높은 수소저장밀도를 갖는 수소공급원이 필요하다. 디젤연료는 액체연료로서 저장 및 공급이 용이하며, 연료전지의 연료가 되는 수소의 단위질량 및 단위부피당 저장밀도가 높은 장점을 갖고 있다. 이러한 디젤연료의 장점을 기반으로 본 연구에서는 산소희박환경에서 수소생산을 위해 디젤연료의 개질반응을 이용하였으며, 산화제로 단위부피당 산소 저장밀도가 높고 액상으로 보관이 용이한 과산화수소 수용액을 기존의 산화제인 물과 산소의 대체산화제로 이용하는 방법을 제안하였다. 과산화수소 수용액의 디젤개질 산화제로써의 특성을 파악하기 위해 물, 공기 산화제와의 비교실험을 진행하였으며, 기존의 산화제와 디젤 개질반응 시 동일한 특성을 갖는 것을 실험적으로 확인하였다. 또한 상용디젤을 연료로 온도 및 과산화수소 수용액의 농도에 따른 개질성능을 평가하였으며, 49시간의 가속 열화실험을 통하여 디젤, 과산화수소 수용액을 이용한 수소생산의 가능성을 확인하였다.

'친환경 수소경제' 구현을 위한 마스터플랜 - 연료전지산업 및 중장기 신.재생에너지 개발비전 - (A National Vision of the Hydrogen Economy and Action Plan)

  • 본 연구에서는 기준안으로 2040년까지 최종에너지의 15%를 수소로 대체한다는 목표를 세우고, 수소이용 효율이 가장 높은 수송부문을 주대상으로 2040년까지 자동차의 50% 이상을 연료전지 자동차로 대체하고, 기타, 가정 상업 및 산업부문에서도 각각 22%, 23%를 연료전지로 대체하는 계획을 수립하였다. 수소의 제조와 저장, 운반 등 공급인프라 부분에서는 2020년까지는 LNG와 석탄 등의 화석연료를 주원료로, 2040년까지는 신 재생에너지의 비중을 60%까지 늘리는 것으로 목표를 설정하였다. 기준안(수소비 중 15%)으로 제시한 수소경제가 실현되는 경우 1차에너지가 9% 저감되고, 석유가 22.7%, 원자력이 17.8%, LNG가 8.9%, 석탄이 3.1% 줄어들고 대신 신 재생에너지는 47.3% 증가하여 지속가능한 에너지믹스가 실현되는 것으로 나타났다. 이에 따라 에너지자급도의 개선, 에너지수입대체효과, 환경편익, 신성장동력으로서 수소 연료전지 산업 정착에 따른 고용창출효과 등 경제적 파급효과도 막대한 것으로 나타났다. 또한 수소경제의 적정산업규모를 갖추기 위한 투자비를 산출한 결과 2040년까지 총 200조원 이상이 필요하다. 방대한 재원을 조달하기 위해 민간자본의 유치와 정부의 효과적 정책개발이 요청된다. 수소경제의 비용효과적인 조기실현을 위해서는 전담기구의 신설과 민간의 전문인력 양성, 그리고 수소 연료전지 산업육성을 위한 규격 및 표준화 마련도 시급한 것으로 판단된다.

수소 잔존 용량에 따른 수소 탱크 충전 시간 및 온도 변화 예측 (Prediction of Changes in Filling Time and Temperature of Hydrogen Tank According to SOC of Hydrogen)

  • Hydrogen is an green energy without pollution. Recently, fuel cell electric vehicle has been commercialized, and many studies have been conducted on hydrogen tanks for vehicles. The hydrogen tank for vehicles can be charged up to 70 MPa pressure. In this study, the change in filling time, pressure, and temperature for each hydrogen level in a 59 L hydrogen tank was predicted by numerical analysis. The injected hydrogen has the properties of real gas, the temperature is -40℃, and the mass flow rate is injected into the tank at 35 g/s. The initial tank internal temperature is 25℃. Realizable k-epsilon turbulence model was used for numerical analysis. As a result of numerical analysis, it was predicted that the temperature, charging time, and the mass of injected hydrogen increased as the residual capacity of hydrogen is smaller.

국내 LPG 충전소 내 수소 융·복합충전소 구축 가능 부지 연구 (A Study on Site to Build Hydrogen Multi Energy Filling Station in Domestic LPG Station)

  • The use of fossil is causing enviromental all over the world. So hydrogen energy is attracting attention as one of the alternative. The government announced that 30% of the air pollution is because of the Internal Combustion Engine Vehicle. In addition, they plans to reduce Internal Combustion Engine Vehicles by 2030 and increase (electric vehicles, EV) or (fuel cell vehicle, FCV). The FCV is evaluated as a next-generation green car because it has a long driving distance and short charging time. However, the hydrogen industry is not able to expand due to the lack of refueling infrastrucutre. This paper predicts the site of hydrogen refueling stations for the expansion of the hydrogen industry and proposes a method to supply hydrogen multi energy filling stations.

  • 전기자동차는 석유 연료와 엔진을 사용하지 않고, 전기 배터리와 전기 모터를 사용해 구동하는 자동차이다. 가솔린을 사용하지 않아 주행중 탄소배출량이 거의 없어 연비 및 이산화탄소 절감 측면에서 매우 우수하며, 운영비용 및 에너지 효율도 뛰어나다. 2010년대에 들어와 GM, 르노 등 주요 자동차업체들을 중심으로 전기자동차 개발이 활성화되어 GM의 '볼트, 닛산의 '리프' 등이 상용화되어 시판되고 있다. 그러나 많은 장점에도 불구하고 비싼 가격, 충전 인프라 부족 등으로 인해 실제 판매는 매우 부진하여 암울한 전망을 노정하고 있다. 부진에 빠진 전기자동차 산업을 성장시키기 위한 정책적 대응방향으로는 전기차 생태계 구축, 충전 인프라 구축, 국내외 표준화 활동 증진, 정부의 적극지원과 부처간 정책조정 등의 노력이 필요하다.

전계의 균일성을 고려한 자동차의 전자파 내성시험 방법에 관한 연구 (The Electro-Magnetic Susceptibility Test Method of a Road Vehicle Considering the Field Uniformity)

  • Owing to revolutionary developments in automobile technologies, a variety of advanced vehicles - hybrid vehicle, hydrogen fuel-cell vehicle, electric vehicle, etc. - emerges recently. The safety is getting more important for developing automobiles. The electro-magnetic compatibility has to be assured, since those advanced vehicles are equipped with various new electronic systems. Electro-magnetic compatibility tests, in general, consist of an EMI(electro-magnetic interference) test and an EMS (electro-magnetic susceptibility) test. We investigated the susceptibility test method suggested in KMVSS (Korean Motor Vehicle Safety Standard) as the EMS test method. A series of experiments results that the above test method should be partially revised to comply with a Korean governmental standard method. In this paper, the some directions of modifications are presented to enhance the quality of the above EMS test method.

다수의 Photovoltaic Submodule용 컨버터를 통합한 DPP 컨버터 (A Novel DPP Converter Integrating Converters for Multiple Photovoltaic Submodules)

  • Recently, photovoltaic (PV) systems have been gradually applied in eco-friendly vehicle applications to improve fuel economy. The relevant market is expected to continue to grow because the installation of large-capacity PV systems to other eco-friendly vehicles, such as electric buses and trains, is being considered. However, in a PV system, power imbalance between submodules and low power generation efficiency occur due to factors such as cell aging, contamination, and shading. To resolve this problem, various differential power processing (DPP) converters have been researched and developed. However, conventional DPP converters suffer from large volume and low efficiency. Therefore, to apply DPP converters to eco-friendly vehicles, increasing efficiency and reducing volume and price compared with existing DPP converters is necessary. In this paper, a novel DPP converter with an integrated transformer is proposed and analyzed. The proposed DPP converter uses a single magnetic component by integrating transformers and secondary sides of conventional DPP converters. Therefore, the proposed DPP converter shows high power density and high efficiency, and it is suitable for PV systems in eco-friendly vehicle applications.

경기도 대기질 개선 정책의 온실가스 동시 저감 및 그에 따른 공편익 효과 분석 (Greenhouse Gas Reduction by Air Quality Management Policy in Gyeonggi-do and Its Co-benefit Analysis)

  • In recent years, national and local government's air quality management and climate change adaptation policy has been significantly strengthened. The measures in the two policies may be in a relationship of trade-off or synergy to each other. Greenhouse gases and air pollutants are mostly emitted from the same sources of using considerable amounts of fossil fuels. Co-benefits, in which either measure has a positive effect on the other, may be maximized by reducing the social costs and by consolidating the objectives of the various policies. In this study, the co-benefits were examined by empirically analyzing the effects of air pollutants and greenhouse gas emission reduction, social cost, and cost effectiveness between the two policies. Of the total 80 projects, the next 12 projects generated co-benefits. They are 1) extend restriction area of solid fuel use, 2) expand subsidy of low-$NO_x$ burner, 3) supply hybrid-vehicles, 4) supply electric-vehicles, 5) supply hydrogen fuel cell vehicles, 6) engine retrofit, 7) scrappage of old car, 8) low emission zone, 9) transportation demand management, 10) supply land-based electric of ship, 11) switching anthracite to clean fuel in private sector, 12) expand regional combined-energy supply. The benefits of air pollutants and greenhouse gas-related measures were an annual average of KRW 2,705.4 billion. The social benefits of the transportation demand management were the highest at an annual average of KRW 890.7 billion, and followed by scrappage of old cars and expand regional combined-energy supply. When the social benefits and the annual investment budgets are compared, the cost effectiveness ratio is estimated to be about 3.8. Overall, the reduction of air pollutants caused by the air quality management policy of Gyeonggi-do resulted in an annual average of KRW 4,790.2 billion. In the point sources management sector, the added value of $CO_2$ reduction increased by 4.8% to KRW 1,062.8 billion, while the mobile sources management sector increased by 3.6% to KRW 3,414.1 billion. If social benefits from $CO_2$ reduction are added, the annual average will increase by 7.2% to KRW 5,135.4 billion. The urban and energy management sectors have shown that social benefits increase more than twice as much as the benefits of $CO_2$ reduction. This result implies that more intensive promotion of these measures are needed. This study has significance in that it presents the results of the empirical analysis of the co-benefits generated between the similar policies in the air quality management and the climate change policy which are currently being promoted in Gyeonggi-do. This study suggested that the method of analyzing the policy effect among the main policies in the climate atmospheric policy is established and the effectiveness and priority of the major policies can be evaluated through the policy correlation analysis based on the co-benefits. It is expected that it could be a basis for evaluation the efficiency of the climate change adaptation and air quality management policies implemented by the national and local governments in the future.
