Synthesis and Characterization of Al-Doped Zinc Oxide Films by an Radio Frequency Magnetron Sputtering Method for Transparent Electrode Applications

  • In this study, transparent and conductive Al-doped zinc oxide (AZO) films were prepared on a glass substrate by an radio frequency (RF) magnetron sputtering method using a 150-nm-thick AZO target (Al: 2 wt.%) at room temperature. We investigated the effects of RF power between 100-350 W (in steps of 50 W) on the structural, electrical, and optical properties of the AZO films. The thickness and cross-sectional images of the films were observed by field emission scanning electron microscopy. The thicknesses of all films were kept constant at 150 nm and grown on a glass substrate. The grain sizes of the AZO films were determined with the X-ray diffraction by using the Scherrer' equation, and their electrical properties were investigated using a Hall effect electronic transport measurement system. The transmittance of the AZO films was also measured by an ultraviolet-visible spectrometer.

Study on the Vibration Characteristics of Yaw Gear System for Large-Capacity Offshore Wind Turbine

  • Vibration and noise must be considered to maximize the efficiency of a yaw system and reduce the fatigue load acting on a wind turbine. This study investigated a method for analyzing yaw-system vibration based on the change in the load-duration distribution (LDD). A substructure synthesis method was combined with a planetary gear train rotational vibration model and finite element models of the housing and carriers. For the vibration excitation sources, the mass imbalance, gear mesh frequency, and bearing defect frequency were considered, and a critical speed analysis was performed. The analysis results showed that the critical speed did not occur within the operating speed range, but a defect occurred in the bearing of the first-stage planetary gear system. It was found that the bearing stiffness and first natural frequency increased with the LDD load. In addition, no vibration occurred in the operating speed range under any of the LDD loads. Because the rolling bearing stiffness changed with the LDD, it was necessary to consider the LDD when analyzing the wind turbine vibration.

  • 최근 무선네트워크의 효율을 높이기 위하여 신호압축 방식의 사용이 증가되고 있다. 특히, MPC 시스템은 비트율을 줄이기 위하여 피치추출 방법과 유성음과 무성음의 음원을 사용하였다. 일반적으로, 유성음원과 무성음원을 사용하는 MPC 시스템에 있어서, 같은 프레임 안에 모음과 무성자음이 있는 경우에 재생 음성파형에 일그러짐이 나타난다. 이것은 대표구간의 멀티펄스를 피치구간마다 복원하는 과정에서 재생 음성파형이 정규화 되는 것이 원인으로 작용한다. 본 논문에서는 재생 음성파형의 일그러짐을 제어하기 위하여 피치구간 마다 멀티펄스의 진폭을 보정하고, 특정 주파수를 이용하는 ACFBD-MPC(Amplitude Compensation Frequency Band Division-Multi Pulse Coding)를 제안하였다. 실험은 남자와 여자음성에서 각각 16개의 문장을 사용하였으며, 음성신호는 10kHz 12bit로 A/D 변환하였다. 또한 8kbps의 부호화 조건에서 ACFBD-MPC 시스템을 구현하고, ACFBD-MPC의 SNR를 평가하였다. 그 결과 ACFBD-MPC의 남자 음성에서 14.2dB, 여자 음성에서 13.6dB 임을 확인할 수 있었으며, ACFBD-MPC가 기존의 MPC에 비하여 남자음성에서 1dB, 여자음성에서 0.9dB 개선되는 것을 알 수 있었다. 이 방법은 셀룰러폰이나 스마트폰과 같이 낮은 비트율의 음원을 사용하여 음성신호를 부호화하는 방식에 활용할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • SiO2-CaO-V2O5 3원계 첨가물을 함유한 Mn-Zn 페라이트 저손실의 주파수 및 온도 의존성에 대해 조사하고 주된 자기손실기구에 대해 고찰하였다. 연쇄고온합성법에 의해 MnO:ZnO:FeO=36:11:53mol% 조성의 페라이트를 제조하였다. 자기손실의 주파수 의존 결과로부터 저주파에서는 자기이력손실이 고주파에서는 와전류손실이 지배적임을 제시하였고, 고저항 첨가제에 의해 비저항이증가할수록 자기이력손실이 감소하였다. 순수 Mn-Zn 페라이트의 경우 자기 손실은 온도 증가에 따라 증가하였으나, 입계저항제가 첨가된 시편의 경우 와전류손실의 감소로 약 4$0^{\circ}C$에 서 자기손실의 최소치가 나타났다.

Analysis of BNNT(Boron Nitride Nano Tube) synthesis by using Ar/N2/H2 60KW RF ICP plasma in the difference of working pressure and H2 flow rate

  • A radio-frequency (RF) Inductively Coupled Plasma (ICP) torch system was used for boron-nitride nano-tube (BNNT) synthesis. Because of electrodeless plasma generation, no electrode pollution and effective heating transfer during nano-material synthesis can be realized. For stable plasma generation, argon and nitrogen gases were injected with 60 kW grid power in the difference pressure from 200 Torr to 630 Torr. Varying hydrogen gas flow rate from 0 to 20 slpm, the electrical and optical plasma properties were investigated. Through the spectroscopic analysis of atomic argon line, hydrogen line and nitrogen molecular band, we investigated the plasma electron excitation temperature, gas temperature and electron density. Based on the plasma characterization, we performed the synthesis of BNNT by inserting 0.5~1 um hexagonal-boron nitride (h-BN) powder into the plasma. We analysis the structure characterization of BNNT by SEM (Scanning Electron Microscopy) and TEM (Transmission Electron Microscopy), also grasp the ingredient of BNNT by EELS (Electron Energy Loss Spectroscopy) and Raman spectroscopy. We treated bundles of BNNT with the atmospheric pressure plasma, so that we grow the surface morphology in the water attachment of BNNT. We reduce the advancing contact angle to purity bundles of BNNT.

V/S/TSIUVC를 이용한 멀티펄스 음성부호화 방식에 관한 연구 (A Study on Multi-Pulse Speech Coding Method by Using V/S/TSIUVC)

  • 유성음원과 무성음원을 사용하는 음성부호화 방식에 있어서, 같은 프레임 안에 모음과 무성자음이 있는 경우에 음질저하 현상이 나타난다. 본 논문에서는 음질을 개선하기 위해 V/S/TSIUVC 스위칭, 개별피치 펄스와 TSIUVC 근사합성 방법을 사용한 새로운 멀티펄스 음성부호화 방식을 제시한다. TSIUVC는 영교차율과 개별피치 펄스에 의하여 추출되며, TSIUVC의 추출율은 여자와 남자음성에서 각각 91%와 95.2%를 얻었다. 여기에서 중요한 사실은 양질의 TSIUVC 합성 파형을 얻기 위해서는 0.547kHz 이하와 2.813kHz 이상의 주파수 정보를 사용하여야 한다. V/UV를 이용한 MPC와 V/S/TSIUVC를 이용한 FBD-MPC의 비교평가를 하였다. 실험결과, FBD-MPC의 음질이 MPC의 음질에 비하여 상당히 개선되었음을 알 수 있었다.

지진을 받는 다자유도 건물의 μ합성 제어기 설계 및 검증실험 (μ-Synthesis Controller Design and Experimental Verification for a Seismic-excited MDOF Building)

  • 이 논문은 지진을 받는 축소 3층 건물모델의 제어 실험에 관한 것이다. 건물모델에 대해 능동 질량 감쇠기를 사용하여 강인제어기인 $\mu$합성 제어기를 설계하고 실험적으로 검증하였다. 외란 입력과 제어용 출력에 적합한 주파수 가중함수를 설정하고 가중함수의 조합을 분석하여 최적의 $\mu$합성 제어기를 제시하였다. 실험 결과 백색잡음 가진 입력에 대한 RMS 응답에서 60-70%의 감소를 보여주었고, 축소 지진 입력에 대한 최대 응답에서 30-45% 정도의 감소효과를 나타내었다. 수치해석결과와 실험의 결과가 매우 정확히 일치하였으며 불확실성을 갖는 구조물에 대하여 제어기가 불확실성의 범위 내에서 강인하다는 것을 보여주었다.

가정, 학교, 대중매체의 식생활교육 경험이 식품 소비자정보 리터러시에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Education Experience (Home, School, and Mass Media) on Food Consumer Information literacy)

  • Objectives: This study examined the effects of dietary education experience (home, school, and mass media) on food consumer information literacy. Methods: The study subjects were 454 adult consumers who answered a structured questionnaire. The questionnaires addressed the subjects' demographics, dietary education experience (home, school, and mass media), and food consumer information literacy. The data were analyzed through frequency analysis, mean, standard deviation, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation, and multiple regression analysis using SPSS Win 24.0. Results: First, the scores of mass media education experience were 3.41 ± 0.64, which was the highest, and 3.15 ± 0.74 for school education experience, which was the lowest. Second, the level of sub-literacies (task definition, information seeking strategy, location and access, use of information, synthesis, and evaluation) showed scores of 3.20 ± 0.72 ~ 3.47 ± 0.68, which were slightly higher than the median. The synthesis literacy was the highest, as opposed to the information seeking strategy literacy, which was the lowest. The location and access and synthesis literacy were higher in women. Third, a significant positive(+) relationship was observed between all sub-literacies and each of three dietary education experiences (home, school and mass media). According to multiple regression analysis, the major variables influencing the sub-literacies of food consumer information literacy were home education, mass media, and school education in that order. Conclusions: The dietary education experience was the highest through mass media. The factor that showed the highest food consumer information literacy was synthesis. The factors influencing the food consumer information literacy were dietary education experience through home, school, and mass media.

저온소결용 $ZnAl_2O_4$ 세라믹스의 합성 및 유전 특성 (Synthesis and dielectric properties of the $ZnAl_2O_4$ ceramics for low-firing)

  • Synthesis and dielectric properties of glass-ceramic composites with zinc borosilicate glass(here after ZBS glass) were investigated as functions of $ZnAl_2O_4$ phase synthesis method, glass addition (50~60 vol%) and sintering temperature ($600{\sim}950^{\circ}C$ for 2 hrs). The 50 vol% ZBS glass-$Al_2O_3$ and 60 vol% ZBS glass-$ZnAl_2O_4$ ensured successful sintering below $900^{\circ}C$. But the composition of 100-x-y vol% ZBS glass-x vol% $Al_2O_3-y$ vol% ZnO exhibited poor sinterability below $900^{\circ}C$ and the swelling phenomenon occurred in this composite with the large amount of ZBS glass. The sintering behavior of Glass-ceramic composites was affected by the crystallization of $ZnAl_2O_4$ which was formed by the reaction between ZBS glass and $Al_2O_3$. Dielectric constant (${\varepsilon}_r$), $Q{\times}f$ value and temperature coefficient of resonant frequency (${\tau}_f$) of the composite with 50 and 60 vol% ZBS glass contents demonstrated $ZBS-Al_2O_3({\varepsilon}_r=5.7)$, $ZBS-ZnAl_2O_4({\varepsilon}_r=5.8)$ which is applicable to substrate requiring an low dielectric properties.

  • A pitch detector is an essential component in a variety of speech processing systems. Besides providing valuable insights into the nature of the exciation source for speech production, the pitch contour of an utterance is useful for recognizing speakers, aids-to-the handicapped, and is required in almost all speech analysis-synthesis system. Because of the importance of the pitch detection, a wide variety algorithms for pitch detection have been proposed in speech procesing literature. Thus, in this paper we discuss th evarious type of pitch detection algorithms which have been proposed until now. Then we provide th eperformance measurements for seven pitch detection algorithms.
