The electronic market thrust for many hybrid circuit manufacturers is changing because commercial market segments such as telecommunications, automotive and consumer electronics have increased the demand world wide for environmentally friendly thick film products. This, in turn, places a stronger emphasis on the material suppliers within the circuit fabrication industry to provide toxin free products with equal or higher performance than traditional technology. A new group of silver based thick film conductors, which are totally free of such toxins as cadmium, nickel and Bead have been developed to meet new environmental requirements. Traditional thick film products and newly developed toxin free compositions will be compared and data will be presented. To evaluate their performance, both groups of conductors were tested for solder acceptance, leach resistance and aged adhesion with standard lead-containing solder and higher temperature lead-free solder.

Let M be a finitely generated module over a regular local ring (R, n). We will fix an n-stable filtration for M and show that the minimal free resolution of M can be obtained from any filtered free resolution of M by zero and negative consecutive cancellations. This result is analogous to [10, Theorem 3.1] in the more general context of filtered free resolutions. Taking advantage of this generality, we will study resolutions obtained by the mapping cone technique and find a sufficient condition for the minimality of such resolutions. Next, we give another application in the graded setting. We show that for a monomial order ${\sigma}$, Betti numbers of I are obtained from those of $LT_{\sigma}(I)$ by so-called zero ${\sigma}$-consecutive cancellations. This provides a stronger version of the well-known cancellation "cancellation principle" between the resolution of a graded ideal and that of its leading term ideal, in terms of filtrations defined by monomial orders.

Korean government is planning to develop the airport and its surrounding area into a Northeast Hub of Asia. In accordance with the Free Trade Zones Act, Incheon International Airport Corporation is in charge of developing the free trade zone which will be located adjacent to the airport cargo terminals. The free trade zone plays an important part for the promotion of international logistics. So the purpose of this paper is to make research on the activation measures of the airport free trade zone for the building of a hub of international logistics. As for the research, this paper reviews the current regulations of the Free Trade Zones Act. Also this paper analyzes recent plans and reports on the free trade zone by Incheon International Airport Corporation and Korean government authorities. As the results of this paper, it will contribute to the activation of the airport free trade zone, and to building Incheon International Airport into the logistics hub of Northeast Asia, and to the inducement of foreigner's investment in the free trade zone.

This study focuses on analyzing the economic effects and probes the necessity of establishing a customs free zone at the Port of Busan. It first considers the economic effects of establishing a customs free zone at the Port of Busan, then suggests policy prescriptions for introducing and operating the free zone system and improving the logistics functions of the Port. The timeline of this study is focused on 2007, when all of Busan Port will operate as a customs free zone and the first stage of the New Busan Port and distribution parks will be built and opened for operation. The regression analysis, which was conducted using the inter-industry relations table(input-output table data), provided a quantitative prediction on the effects of making Busan Port into a customs free zone. Regarding the impact of a free zone system on the domestic and regional economy, this research found that the impact of a customs free zone on domestic industries and the regional economy once the customs free zone is established throughout all of Busan Port would be highly positive. The positive economic effects on the domestic and Busan regional economy might be further strengthened if the value-added logistics function of Busan Port could be supplemented by effective linking to the hinterlands.

The luminosity evolution of Type Ia supernova (SN Ia) and dust extinction play major roles in the systematic uncertainties in the SN cosmology. In order to overcome these obstacles, here we propose to use GMT-GMACS to take spectra for early-type host-galaxies of SNe Ia in the redshift range between 0.2 and 1.0. This high-redshift sample will be taken from Dark Energy Survey (DES), which expects more than 200 early-type hosts at this redshift range. They will be compared with nearby early-type hosts, for which we are now obtaining low-resolution spectra. We will select host-galaxies of same population age range for both nearby and high-redshift samples to reduce the possible evolution effect. Since we are dealing with early-type galaxies, our test is also less affected by dust extinction. We expect that our evolution-free and dust-free dark energy test will provide more robust results on the nature of dark energy.

Ultrasonic Positioning System (UPS) is an absolute positioning system using ultrasonic waves and has better performance in low price than the other absolute positioning systems. UPS can be further used as pseudo-satellites in the place where GPS is not available. This study aims to evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of using UPS as a 3D free-hand writing or drawing tool. The process includes the design and testing of VPS as an efficient 3D free-hand writing or drawing tool in the air. The paper will further explain the system architecture of the UPS and how to use GPS as 3D free-hand writing or drawing tool. The efficiency and effectiveness of the system was confirmed by a computer software simulation. The software will further display the result of drawing or writing from the user by graphics. As a result, it is possible to implement UPS as a 3D free-hand writing or drawing tool in the air.

Demands for free-form buildings are on the rise, but such building designs require most cost and longer construction schedule, with less constructability due to challenges in construction member production and installation. FCP production technology has been developed using CNC machine in a bid to resolve the difficulties of member production. Exterior finishing panels of free-form building design must be divided in size and shape that can be produced by CNC machine. To solve this problem, constraints of CNC machine and correlations between CNC machine and panel need to be reviewed. Thus, the purpose of this study is to analyze decision factors on free-form concrete panel sizes produced by CNC machines. Through this study, FCP size can be optimized, which in turn can lead to improved FCP productivity and aesthetical quality of free-form building designs determined by the pattern of exterior finishing panels. CNC machine-enabled free-form concrete panel production technology will apply on site in the future, which will not only maximize the economic benefits of the technology but also support shorter construction schedule and better constructability.

Purpose - Recently, large quantities of factors have affected the signing of the Free Trade Agreement between two countries. Due to this background, this paper selects South Korea as an example to explore the determinants of Free Trade Agreement from Asian countries. Research design, data, and methodology - A cross sectional data of 2016 will be employed and some variables such as real income and GDP will be used to run an empirical analysis under the linear probability model, probit model and logit model. Results - The findings show that the Asian countries' exchange rate regime, real income, GDP and so forth can increase the probability of signing the Free Trade Agreement with Asian countries. Conversely, the distance can lower the probability of signing the Free Trade Agreement with Asian countries. Meanwhile, although the Asian countries' import, consumer price index and population also can affect the probability of signing the Free Trade Agreement with Asian countries, the estimated coefficients are not statistically significant at 5% level. Conclusions - According to the empirical results, this paper provides a new scope for South Korea's government to sign the Free Trade Agreement with other Asian countries.

In this paper, we will define direct producted $W^*-porobability$ spaces over their diagonal subalgebras and observe the amalgamated free-ness on them. Also, we will consider the amalgamated free stochastic calculus on such free probabilistic structure. Let ($A_{j},\;{\varphi}_{j}$) be a tracial $W^*-porobability$ spaces, for j = 1,..., N. Then we can define the corresponding direct producted $W^*-porobability$ space (A, E) over its N-th diagonal subalgebra $D_{N}\;{\equiv}\;\mathbb{C}^{{\bigoplus}N}$, where $A={\bigoplus}^{N}_{j=1}\;A_{j}\;and\;E={\bigoplus}^{N}_{j=1}\;{\varphi}_{j}$. In Chapter 1, we show that $D_{N}-valued$ cumulants are direct sum of scalar-valued cumulants. This says that, roughly speaking, the $D_{N}-freeness$ is characterized by the direct sum of scalar-valued freeness. As application, the $D_{N}-semicircularityrity$ and the $D_{N}-valued$ infinitely divisibility are characterized by the direct sum of semicircularity and the direct sum of infinitely divisibility, respectively. In Chapter 2, we will define the $D_{N}-valued$ stochastic integral of $D_{N}-valued$ simple adapted biprocesses with respect to a fixed $D_{N}-valued$ infinitely divisible element which is a $D_{N}-free$ stochastic process. We can see that the free stochastic Ito's formula is naturally extended to the $D_{N}-valued$ case.

잘 알려져 있는 것처럼, 결과논변은 자유의지와 결정론이 양립하지 않는다는 것을 보이기 위한 것이다. 최근 최훈 교수는 데이빗슨의 무법칙적 일원론이 결과논변에 대한 대응이론으로 해석될 수 있다는 것을 보이려고 한다. 그러나 나는 그러한 해석에 동의하지 않는다. 따라서 나는 다음과 같은 방식으로 왜 동의하지 않는지 보이려고 한다. 결과논변에 대응하기 위해서는, 무법칙적 일원론은 결과논변의 전제들 중 적어도 하나를 부정할 수 있거나 결과 논변의 타당성을 보증해 주는 베타규칙을 부정할 수 있거나 결과논변의 건전성에도 불구하고 자유의지가 결정론과 양립할 수 있다는 것을 보일 수 있어야 한다. 이 글에서 나는 무법칙적 일원론이 이것들 중 어떠한 것도 해낼 수 없다는 것을 보일 것이다.
