The current study investigates how student-teacher interaction can be developed through task-based teaching in undergraduate students' Saudi teaching and learning context. An experiment was conducted for five weeks on 85 male undergraduate students at a Saudi public university based in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The study investigated different types of student-teacher interaction through task-based teaching (speaking activities). The results revealed that the experimental group (43 students) evinced much more enthusiasm, willingness, engagement and readiness in their inclass participation than their peers in the control group (42 students). The student-teacher interaction also helped students to be more responsive to general and specific topics in speaking activities. The study recommends that decision-makers in education make student-teacher interaction part of the student's monthly assessment. It also recommends that more efforts be made to foster the awareness of students, teachers, and parents awareness of the academic and non-academic importance of interaction. One final recommendation of the research is that student-teacher interaction should be more emphasized and integrated into the school curriculum and adopted as a critical teaching strategy.
The purpose of this study was to explore the influence of credibility of health information (CHI) source and e health literacy (eHL) on health information orientation (HIO) of parents of hospitalized children. Convenience sampling method of 109 parent whose children were admitted in a children's hospital in D city was used. The hierarchial regression model with general characteristics and characteristics of children for step 1 and eHL and CHI for step 2 against HIO was statistically significant (F=8.22, p<.001). And this model could explain 40% of HIO ($R^2$=.40). Especially, eHL (${\beta}$=.54, p<.001) and CHI (${\beta}$=.21, p=.008), subjective health perception (${\beta}$=.19, p=.016), and age (${\beta}$=-0.15, p=.048) were identified the influencing factors on HIO. Based on these findings, to foster the HIO of parents of inpatient children, credible health information should be given to these population and a approach with eHL enhancement should be considered. And further research that is to explore the way to enhance the eHL should be carried out to suggest the practical application
It is the purpose of this study to provide the basic data to stimulate the social understanding of an abandoned child from the medical viewpoint and the viewpoint of administrative management. The data are based on the medical dossier of 305 patients which were hospitalized in 'A' hospital (of Seoul municipal hospital) between 1992 and 1996. The method of analysis is SPSS statistical package and the following results can be obtained 1. The abandoned children were frequently found in the Spring by season, in April by month, on Friday by day, and especially in the night and before an individual home and an medical institution in many cases. 2. The children found in an individual home were younger, handicapped smaller, and hospitalized for shorter period. As they were healthy relatively, parents might hope that they were accepted as foundling foster children. Contrary to above case, the children found in an medical institution were worse, handicapped more, and hospitalized for longer period. Accordingly, parents might hope that they were protected in an public institution. 3. The $69.8\%$ of abandoned children had caught a disease at that time and the $53.8\%$ of them had been handicapped. The most serious disease and handicap were the heart-lung trouble and the cerebral palsy, respectively. 4. The only $60.8\%$ of them were adopted and the most of them were healthy relatively. The $10.2\%$ which have been dead had caught four diseases on the average. As the results of above, the followings can be proposed : 1) It is required that the system connected to administrative management, which can provide the abandoned children turned for the better with the family relations to voluntary servants, be developed. 2) It is required that the system of registration management and plan for support economy, which can support the handicapped birth as the congenital malformation in national aspect, be developed. 3) It is required that to protect abandoned children, the health educational program for childbirth-people be prepared in the unit of a public health center.

This study aims to investigate whether financial literacy, parental socialization, peer influence and self-control have a significant impact on money management among students of a Malaysian public university. In most settings, the studies on the determinants of personal saving behavior among university students focus on personality factors, attitudes toward money and possessions, and financial knowledge as predictors of money management behavior. Primary data are collected using a self-administered questionnaire with the samples comprised 186 students. The findings show that all the financial literacy and parent socialization have a positive relationship with money management; meanwhile, peer influences and self-control have a negative relationship with money management. This is because the majority of students admit they cannot control their self in managing their money. In this study, parent socialization has a significant relationship with money management which signifies that parents are playing essential roles in ensuring their children to establish money management. In practical, this study can contribute to the parents in providing their children to foster sound money management. Besides, Perbadanan Tabung Pendidikan Tinggi Nasional (National Higher Education Fund Corporation) PTPTN should monitor the loan, and management process and arrange motivational program so that students can more focus on the educational expense.
This study has the purpose to aid that there will be a desirable household and social life analyzing the content in examples of the distinction between the sexes based on the family pedigrees published since 1980 year in Korea. 142 family pedigrees in Suncheon National University Library, National Central Library in Seoul and Cheon II Library in Kwangju as study data were used. Characters of the analyzing subject were born since 1940 year, who are still in existence possibly. The results of this study are as followings; 1) In the records of man and wife (1) The case which man's name was registered in detail and wife's name was not registered is 62.0% and more than a half. (2) The case which wife's schooling, career and occupation were not registered is 97.9%. 2) In the records of the relation between parents and children. (1) The case which only parents were registered in the ancestors of maternal line is 76.7%. (2) The case which foster sons were registered although the e were daughters is 15.5%, which is remarkable portions. 3) In the records of the relation of children (1) The case which the register orders were sons first and daughter later, not birth order is almost all 97.2% and the case which daughters were not registered is 2.1%. (2) The case which the married daughters names with sons-in-law were registered is 40.2%, whereas the case which only the names of sons-in-law were registered without daughters names is 56.3% and more than a half. (3) The case which grandsons in the daughter's line were registered only one case. In the above analysis results of Korean family pedigrees, the distinction ciousness to the wife and daughters as female among family members has been deeply conventionalized institutionally or conceptually.
This study is a second analysis of the 7th Korean Longitudinal Survey of Women and Families. And, it is a descriptive survey research for comparing parental and health characteristics of 2 groups of workers and non-workers. For this, it has used crossover analysis and logistic regression analysis with the subjects of mothers of preschoolers - of 697 females in total, aged between 19 and 64. Based on the result of the logistic regression analysis, we have discovered a few factors inducing the females to participate in more economic activities. The factors are as follows : baby sitters available, the more number of child care centers, the more helps of baby sitting from the females' parents and in-law parents and physical activities less than 3 times a week. In contrast, however, the more preschoolers they have, the less likely they are to take an active part in the economy. Against the backdrop, the government should develop social service systems to encourage various child care services and to foster 'child raising mothers-friendly' environments not only in families but in workplaces. All this is to improve the health characteristics of preschoolers' mothers in a more healthy way' and to strike a balance between work and family.
Purpose: This study aims to provide foundational data for preparing for educational programs on the role of a father that are designed to help primiparous spouses carry out the paternal role successfully. Methods: This study was conducted in two OB/GYN clinics and a study sample of 277 primiparous spouses who satisfied the selection criteria was selected. Results: Of the correlation among the childhood experiences, paternal attachment and role of a father of the subjects, the childhood experiences had a positive correlation with the paternal-infant attachment and the role of a father. The paternal-infant attachment and the role of a father also had a positive correlation. Conclusion: An infant is influenced primarily by his or her parents, who will have immense influences on the child's growth and development. Since the paternal-infant attachment is closely related to the role of a father, the development of positive paternal-infant attachment must be preceded in order for a primiparous spouse to carry out the role of a father successfully. Therefore, the development of nursing intervention programs is needed to foster the proper understanding of the role of a father, accommodate the practical needs of primiparous spouses and nurture the paternal-infant attachment for the promotion of realistic, successful role of a father.

Korea's Compulsive Shutdown System bans online game providers from offering their services to children under 16 years of age from midnight to 6 a.m. Although it was introduced only after lengthy rounds of discussion, controversy over the system still continues. The key question is whether the system, which unilaterally emphasizes juvenile protection, infringes upon the freedom of playing games for teenagers, the freedom of business for game products related business operators and the right to foster children for parents, which are basic rights under the Constitution. It is very encouraging that the State took up the issue and prepared various systems for juvenile protection through the Compulsive Shutdown System. Yet the government has to plan as comprehensive and effective of a measure as it possibly can by predicting the trends of technology development and game use, and also set detailed standards to ensure that the system should not become an excessive or inappropriate regulation. Although the State's compulsive intervention may be positive since it is hard to expect a self purification capability to exhibit itself concerning game use among teenagers, a plan to prevent game addiction among adolescents from the long-term and fundamental perspectives should be prepared as well.
Drawing on social and cultural capital theory, the study investigates the influences of social capital and cultural capital on the academic achievement of children in out-of-home care. We collected data from 494 children living in out-of-home services, including institutional care facilities, foster care homes, and group homes. To analyze the collected data, a multiple regression analysis method was used. In addition, the IV (instrumental-variables) estimation was utilized to rule out the possibility of reverse causality. The level of children's social capital was measured through children's relationships with parents and friends, parental monitoring, etc. The level of children's cultural capital was measured by their cultural activities, such as going to museums, and playing musical instruments. Children's personal characteristics and placement history in out-of-home services were used as control variables. We found that among personal characteristic variables, self-esteem, depression and anxiety, and delinquency affected the academic achievement of the children. Cultural capital, but not social capital, positively affected the level of academic achievement of the children. Based on the study results, implications for child welfare practice were discussed.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the potential risk factors - children's factors, parental factors, and familial-environmental factors - with respect to overweight and obesity in Korean preschool children. Methods: This study used a descriptive cross-sectional design and involved 264 pairs of mothers and preschool children aged 3-5 years (121 boys, 143 girls) attending daycare centers in C city. Multiple logistic regression analyses were used to identify significant risk factors for overweight and obesity in preschool children. Results: According to the multivariate logistic regression, family history of diabetes mellitus as children's factors, overweight or obesity of both parents as parental factors were significantly associated with an increased likelihood of overweight and obesity in preschool children. In addition, lack of community space for physical activity as familial-environmental factors was significantly associated with increased likelihood of overweight and obesity. Conclusions: Health care providers should concerned with the risk of overweight and obesity in children with high risk familial factors, such as family history of obesity and diabetes mellitus. Moreover, policies should be set in place to make sure communities include space that foster physical activity in young children.
