An Efficient Auto-focusing Algorithm for Video Measuring System (비디오 측정 시스템을 위한 효율적인 자동 초점 조절 알고리즘)

  • The passive focusing method finds the in-focus position by analyzing images captured by a camera. In this paper, we propose an efficient passive auto-focusing algorithm for video measuring systems. The sum of modified Laplacian of Gaussian is used to calculate focus values from images and Gaussian curve fitting is applied to estimate the optimal in-focus position. The Proposed method is tested for various objects and illuminations. The test result is compared with other methods to verify accuracy and efficiency of the proposed algorithm.

  • The magnetic gear, which amplifies the torque by filtering the magnetic field generated by the low-speed permanent magnet with a modulator, can exclude gear contact and can be effectively applied when there are environmental restrictions. In this paper, we discuss the magnetic force characteristics of a magnetic gear using a magnetic focusing array that replaces a general permanent magnet array magnetized in a radial direction along the circumferential direction. The torque increasing effect of the discussed array, known as an arrangement that increases the principal component by focusing a radial magnetic field, is compared with that of a general magnetic gear. In particular, in a magnetic gear using such an array, the sensitivity of torque according to variables is analyzed to see how various variables known as factors affecting torque have an effect.

  • Synthetic zinc wave employs Pulsed plane wave as transmit beam with linear time delay curve. The received echoes in different transmit directions at different transmit times are superposed at imaging Points with Proper time delay compensation using synthetic focusing scheme. This scheme. which uses full aperture in transmit, obtains a high SNR image, and also features high lateral resolution by using two way dynamic focusing at all imaging depths. In this Paper, we consider the Problems in realization of synthetic zinc wave. Also. we have applied the scheme to obtain phantom and in-vivo images using a linear array of 5 MHz. In phantom test. experimental images show high resolution over a more extended imaging depth than conventional fixed Point transmit and receive dynamic focusing schemes In-vivo images show that the resolution could not overcome conventional focusing systems because of motion blurring and(or) aberration of tissue. but the frame rate tan be increased by a factor of more than 5 compared to conventional focusing schemes. with competitive resolution at all imaging depths .

A Study on Relation of between Focusing Manner and Clinical Competence in Nursing Students (간호대학생의 포커싱적 태도와 임상수행능력과의 상관성 연구)

  • The purpose of this study is to the relation between the focusing manner and clinical competence and to determine the effect of the focusing manner on clinical competence. In December 2018, data were collected from 189 university students in the nursing department and analyzed using a multiple regression. As a result, major satisfaction and focusing manner of nursing university students were identified as major factors influencing clinical competence. In particular, 'expressing', a sub-factor of the focusing manner, had a significant effect on the sub-factors of clinical competence ability, 'nursing process, nursing skill, teaching and cooperation, interpersonal relationships and communication, and professional development', and explanatory power was 15.7%~19.9%. Therefore, during the undergraduate course, it is suggested that university students in the nursing department actively develop teaching-learning methods along with the development of a program to improve 'the ability to express appropriately for the situation'.

  • Smart-phone in the recently released high-end applied to the camera module is equipped with the most features auto focusing camera module. Also, auto focusing camera module is divided into voice coil motor, encoder, and piezo according to type of motion mechanism. Auto focusing camera module is composed of voice coil motor (VCM) as an actuator and leaf spring as a guide and suspension. VCM actuator is made of magnet, yoke as a metal, and coil as a copper wire. Recently, the assembly as yoke and magnet is made by human resources. These process has a long process time and it is difficult to secure quality. Also, These process is not economical in cost, and productivity is reduced. Therefore, an automatic assembly as yoke and magnet is needed in the present process. In this paper, we have developed an automatic assembly device that can automatically assemble yoke and magnet, and performed verifying performance. Therefore, by using the developed automatic assembly device, it is possible to increase the productivity and reduce the production cost.

  • We proposed a new spatio-angularly multiplexed holographic memory system using moving windows and double-focusing lens, which can eleminate crosstalk due to two neighboring moving windows(MW) in the vertical direction of the conventional MW holographic memory system and demonstated its feasibility through optical experiments.

Retro-self-focusing and pinholing effect in a refractive index grating

  • In this paper we will show theoretically that a refractive index grating exhibits a retro-self-focusing effect and an accompanying pinholing effect under the Gaussian intensity distribution of an incident optical field. Those effects result from an effective wave number change of the medium due to the intense optical field.
