모의 실험주택 모니터링 결과를 활용한 실내공기 및 바닥먼지 중 Di(2-ethyl-hexyl) phthalate (DEHP)의 이론적 총량 비율 산출 (Calculation of the Theoretical Total Amount Ratio of Di(2-ethyl-hexyl) Phthalate in Indoor Air and Floor Dust in a Test House)

  • Background: Human exposure to phthalates in indoor environments occurs via dermal absorption, oral ingestion of indoor dust, and inhalation of indoor air. However, systematic studies to investigate the exposure rate to phthalates among the three exposure routes in indoor environments are currently limited. Objectives: A theoretical exposure ratio between inhalation and oral exposure was calculated based on the total amount of di(2-ethyl-hexyl) phthalate (DEHP) emitted into indoor air and deposited into floor dust in a test house. Methods: Flooring and wallpaper containing DEHP were installed in a test house and the concentration of DEHP in both indoor air and floor dust were monitored for five months. Based on the measured DEHP concentrations, the theoretical total amount ratio of DEHP that could be exposed through inhalation and oral ingestion was calculated. Results: Considering the period of operation in the test house, the theoretical total amount of DEHP through inhalation and oral ingestion exposures in the entire test house space was calculated to be 0.014 mg and 5.5 mg, respectively. The exposure ratio of the two routes between inhalation and oral exposure corresponding to the total DEHP amount in flooring and wallpaper was 6.0×10-7% and 2.3×10-4%, indicating that theoretical oral exposure to DEHP is approximately 380 times higher than inhalation. Conclusions: Monitoring results from a test house has shown that oral exposure is the main exposure route for DEHP in indoor environments. The experimental design employed in this study and theoretical exposure ratio obtained can be applied to investigate actual exposure to DEHP and to determine the exposure characteristics of various types of semi-volatile organic compounds.

우드세라믹 통전에 의한 마루판의 표면온도 변화 (Surface Temperature of Flooring Board Using Woodceramics with Sending an Electric Current)

  • 소나무 톱밥보드로 제조된 우드세라믹에 전선을 연결하여 목재 틀과 콘크리트 블록 속에 넣고 통전하여 강화마루판과 합판마루판의 표면온도 상승과 하강변화를 조사 하여 우드세라믹을 온돌마루판 하부소재로 이용할수 있는 가능성을 검토하였다. 통전시간 60분 후 마루판의 표면온도와 처음 시작온도 차이는 강화마루판이 크게 나타나 합판마루판보다 열전달이 빠름을 알 수 있었다. 목재 틀에서 우드세라믹 표면설정온도가 $70^{\circ}C$$80^{\circ}C$일 때 60분 후 강화마루판의 표면온도는 각각 $37.8^{\circ}C$$39.4^{\circ}C$로 높게 나타나 열전달이 우수하였다. 각 우드세라믹 표면설정온도별 처음 시작온도와 30분후의 표면온도 하강차이는 목재 틀이 콘크리트 블록보다, 강화마루판이 합판마루판보다 커서 온도하강이 빠름을 알 수 있었다. 우드세라믹 자체의 표면온도 하강은 목재 틀보다 콘크리트 블럭에서 하강속도가 빨랐으며, 마루판의 하강속도가 우드세라믹의 하강속도보다 느려 마루판이 오랜 시간 열을 유지하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

폴리머 시멘트계 Self leveling 바닥마감재의 기초성능평가 (Basic Efficiency Assessment of polymer cementitious Self leveling for floor-finishing materials)

  • Recently, polymer-modified mortar has been studied for proposed use on industrial floors as top layers with thin thicknesses, typically 5~ 15mm. The purpose of this study is to evaluate basic properties of self leveling materials using polymer modifier as kinds of SBR, PAE, SUBA. Superplasticizer and thickener have been included in the mixes to reduce bleeding and drying shrinkage as well as in order to facilitate the workability required. The self leveling materials using four types of polymer dispersion are prepared with polymer-cement ratios which respectively range from 50%, 75%, and were tested for basic characteristics such as adhesion in tension, crack resistance test, rebound test after the preparative tests for unit weight, air content, consistency ratio etc. The results show almost as equal quality as existing commercial industrial flooring when mortar is modified by polymer dispersion. Adhesion in tension of polymer modified mortars using each SBR and PAE emulsion was over 10 kgf/$cm^{2}$. Crack or flaw derived from shrinkage is strongly dependent on the type of polymer dispersion because of each different total solid of polymer. It is judged that polymer modified mortar with self-leveling can be very well suited for Floor-finished.

폐타이어 칩의 바닥충격음 차단성능에 관한 실험적 연구 (The Experimental Study on the Impact Sound Insulation Floors due to Waste Tire Chip)

  • This study aims to present proper thickness of resilient mount and pattern of chips for the improvement of impact sound isolation. To achieve this aim, field tests were performed to evaluate the performance of impact sound isolation of pilot samples using waste tire chips against light and heavy-weight impacter, which samples were installed over concrete slabs of an apartment housing. In this study, the experiments were performed by the impact sound level of floors in KS F 2810 "Method for field measurement of floor impact level". As results, a flooring structure using waste tire chips as a resilient mount, with no relation to chip's types, has enhanced performance by 1~2 degree in light impact sound isolation, while it has improvement in heavy impact sound isolation. And fiber-type chips have better performance than granule-type ones when they overlaid concrete slab with 15~20 mm of thickness. For the improvement of impact sound isolation, it is recommended that insulating materials should be applied at joints between floating floors and walls, or floating floors and a doorframes, and also waterproof papers should be used for the effective thickness of resilient mount.ent mount.

모돈 군사 사육의 깔짚과 슬랏바닥의 행동 및 환경 수준 평가 비교 (Effect of floor types (slat vs. litter) of group housing systems on sow behavior and environmental levels)

  • 최근 우리나라는 축산농가의 사육환경 개선을 위해 양돈 농가를 대상으로 새로운 동물복지형 사육기준을 도입하려고 한다. 이에 모돈의 군사사육 도입 규정에 대응할 수 있는 모돈사 바닥에 대한 연구들이 필요한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 모돈의 군사사육 방식이면서 바닥의 형태가 각각 깔짚과 슬랏 바닥의 형태로 되어 있는 농가 2곳을 섭외하여 동물복지 수준과 환경 수준 및 모돈의 행동을 평가 및 비교하였다. 동물복지 수준평가는 실험농가 모돈의 몸상처와 외음부상처 평가, 환경 수준은 돈사 안의 황화수소, 암모니아, 이산화탄소 농도를 한 달에 1번씩, 총 4 개월간 측정하였다. 연구 결과 동물복지 수준은 모돈의 몸과 외음부 상처비율이 깔짚 바닥 농가(K 농가)에 비해 콘크리트 슬랏 바닥 농가(H 농가)에서 높게 관찰 되었다. 모돈의 돈방 내의 환경수준은 각각 황화수소 (H2S; H 농가 1.0 ppm, K 농가 0.0 ppm), 암모니아 (NH3; H 농가 45.4 ppm, K 농가 1.3 ppm), 및 이산화탄소 (CO2; H 농가 1102.3 ppm, K 농가 258.8 ppm) 농도가 H 농가에서 높게 측정 되었다. 모돈의 행동분석 중 투쟁행동은 H 농가에서 주로 발생 하였다. 이와 같은 결과는, 동일한 군사형태의 사육시설이지만 바닥재의 차이로 인해 공격행동과 환경수준의 변화를 나타나는데, 향후 추가적으로 바닥재의 종류 및 바닥의 변화들을 제시하면서 행동변화, 동물복지 및 환경수준을 측정하는 연구가 필요 할 것으로 판단된다.

  • The purpose of this study was to grasp actual condition of remodeling elements by specialists' in-depth interviews. The interview has been conducted to interior designer who have a wide experience of apartment remodeling. In-depth interview is a kind of qualitative method in which attention to reply of responses with open-access between interviewer and respondents. According to the results, remodeling elements were generally the renovation of balcony into the livingroom or children room, removal a doorsill, installation of storage furniture, change of lighting fixtures in the all rooms and change equipments of bathroom. Finishing materials were usual used normal wallpaper and normal or low emitting adhesive on ceiling and wall, tempered-flooring on floor, and ceramic tiles on bottom and wall of bath and entrance.

중국 용정지방 달라재 전통농가 정지간과 생활행위 조사연구 (Activities in the Chung-Ji-Kan of the Dallajae Traditional Farmhouse in Lungching. China)

  • This paper is a part of “The Study of The Traditional Korean Ethnic Farmhousing in Yanbian. China. The purpose of this study is to investigate the activities of the chung-ji-kan(the combined kitchen and major ondol living room). of the traditional farmhouse. It is based on a survey of 124 households in the farm villages of Lungching, China. Survey research methods included a field study in Dallajae. A questionnaire was used to conduct this study. The major findings are: 1) the average family is 3.25 persons and the nuclear family type is prevalent; ) the building plan of the farmhouse is the Ham-Kyoung-Do ‘double file’ dwelling type, the average 5.2kan(51.1$m^2$) house; ) the chung-ji-kan floor changed from straw matting or seomyu-pan(a kind of veneer board) to a vinyl flooring; 4) the chung-ji-kan ondol is the important center of activities for the farm family; thus the sitting life style of Korean ondol culture continues in Yanbian, China.

철도차량용 고무바닥재의 연기발생에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on Smoke Generation of Rubber Floor for Railway Vehicle)

  • In this study, we have performed the Cone Calorimeter test and Smoke density test in accordance with ISO 5660-1 and ASTM E662 respectively to check the smoke production characteristics of rubber flooring materials for railway vehicle. Early in the ASTM E662 test, more smoke was produced in the flame mode test than non-flame mode test, but later more smoke was produced in non-flame mode test. The correlation($R^2$) between TSR(Total Smoke Release) by ISO 5660-1 and Ds(Specific Optical Density) by ASTM E662 Flame mode was 0.782. The $R^2$ between TSR by ISO 5660-1 and Ds by ASTM E662 Non-flame was 0.930.

  • In this study, as part of securing related data, water droplets were dropped on the upper part of the wooden board for flooring in an environment such as floor heating, and the degree of absorption according to the surface temperature change was tested. The test results showed that the contact angle of the surface was low (25℃→40℃) or the droplet was absorbed into the small plate and disappeared. The contact angle of the OSB and MDF was decreased within 30 minutes, but the surface water droplet was maintained longer than the plywood. This is because the surface is coated with hydrophobicity unlike the plywood, but moisture absorption in the cross section after the second processing will not be prevented and it will lead to defect occurrence problem.

  • A problem arose about the lack of strength of dry mortar for flooring. To solve the problem of lack of strength, a high-strength dry mortar was applied. However, problems arose about the increase in the amount of cracks. It is necessary to analyze the causes of the increase in the amount of cracking in high-strength dry mortar and take countermeasures.
