FLOW-3D를 이용한 우이천의 홍수특성 분석 (Analysis of the flood Characteristics in the Woo-Ee Stream Using FLOW-3D)

  • Recently, the frequency of unexpecting heavy rains has been increased due to abnormal climate and extreme rainfall. There was a limit to analyze one dimension or two dimension stream flow of domestic rivers that was applied simple momentum equation and fixed energy conservation. Therefore, hydrodynamics flow analysis in rivers has been needed three dimensional numerical analysis for correct stream flow interpolation. In this study, CFD model on FLOW-3D was applied to stream flow analysis, which solves three dimension RANS(Reynolds Averaged Navier-Stokes Equation) control equation to find out physical behavior and the effect of hydraulic structures. Numerical simulation accomplished those results was compared by using turbulence models such as $k-{\backepsilon}$, RNG $k-{\backepsilon}$ and LES. Those numerical analysis results have been illustrated to bends and junctions by the turbulence energy effects, velocity of flow distributions, water level pressure distributions and eddy flows.

  • Recently, the development project is conducting disaster effect estimation to breed disaster, and cope these disaster beforehand provoking soil erosion and flood. Therefore, it is became important to analysis and reduce of these disaster. In this study, receive value of LS and C factor of soil erosion through the digital image. The method of photogrammetry was employed for the efficient surveying and analysis of cutting slope using Remote Control Helicopter installed with a nonmetric digital camera. As a result, we obtain more objectivity value of soil erosion factor using digital image analysis.

  • 최근 여름철 기상이변과 게릴라성 집중호우로 인해 대도시 유역의 첨두홍수량은 급격히 증가하고 있으나, 대도시 지역은 비도심 지역에 비해 하천 확폭이나 제방 증고에 많은 제약이 있다. 이에 대한 도심지역의 홍수 예방대책으로 유역을 전환시키는 방수로는 하천통수능력을 초과하는 홍수량을 유역상류부에서 호수나 바다로 방류할 수 있어 하류지역 홍수부하량을 감소시켜 침수피해를 막을 수 있는 매우 효과적인 방안이라고 할 수 있다. 본 연구에서는 현재 사업 진행중인 굴포천방수로를 통한 굴포천 유역의 치수효과를 수치해석 및 실제 홍수처리 사례를 통해 분석하고자 한다.

  • In this study, we analyzed about that after design form manufacture master pattern in Rapid Prototyping-RP through design program, processes to manufacture prototype using Vacuum Casting. In Rapid Prototyping-RP, there is an en-or by shrinkage of resin and, in Vacuum Casting, there is an error by shrinkage of silicon. To select condition which shrinkage become the minimum of each process, manufactured prototype after using Full Factorial Design of Design of Experiments, We could confirm shrinkage using reverse engineering and that result came into effect ANOVA 2-way. We applied errors of each process to master pattern, and then presented the method to improve flood control precision of prototype of Vacuum Casting.

  • This article is summary of 'Korean Green New Deal' project which strives to revive Korea's Top 4 rivers for the next four years, between 2009 and 2012. The purpose of this project is balanced national development and recovered regional economy, creating new jobs. Details of the 'Korean Green New Deal' include means to reinforce obsolete embankments and to recover the river ecosystem by maintaining sedimentary soil, to install small- to middle-sized dams and flood control reservoirs and to establish eco-friendly reservoir for emergency water supplies. The project is expected to generate 190,000 new employee and create 23 trillion won worth production inducement effect, contributing in the revival of regional economies.

도암댐 홍수조절효과 향상을 위한 최적운영 방안에 대한 연구 (Study on The Optimum Operation Plan for the Improvement of Do-am Dam Flood Control Effect)

  • 강원도 평창군 송천 유역 상류에 위치한 도암댐 및 골지천 상류에 위치한 광동댐에 대한 홍수조절 능력 및 효과를 분석하였으며, 도암댐 및 광동댐 유역의 강우특성, 강우-유출해석, 저수지 추적 및 저수지 운영, 하도추적에 의한 홍수조절 효과, 홍수조절용 댐 전환에 따른 저수지운영계획을 수립하였다. 댐의 단독 및 연계 운영에 따른 홍수조절 가능성을 평가하여 홍수조정능력을 향상하기 위한 도암댐의 규모결정과 최적댐 운영방안을 결정하였으며, 그 결과 홍수조절용량댐으로의 전환에 따른 방류구조의 변경에 대한 분석이 필요하다고 사료된다.

고탄소질함유 점토벽돌의 내부흑심제거 속도에 대한 연구 (Removal Phenomenon of Black Core in Clay Brick Containing High Carbon Content)

  • There have been some studies on the use of coal waste as a raw material for clay bricks due to the lack of naturally producing minerals. It can help resolving the problems of pollution, forest conservation and flood control by utilizing coal waste. However, high content of carbon materials usually leads to the black core in clay bricks after firing process, and diminishes the mechanical and aesthetical properties of clay brick. In this study, the effect of firing process is investigated for the removal of black core in clay bricks with carbon content. The removal kinetics of black core are also compared and investigated with the firing schedule and black core removal.

인공습지의 수질개선 효과 분석모델 개발 (Development of Pollutant Removal Model in the Artificial Wetland)

  • The wetland is a biologically integrated system consisting of water, soil, bacteria, plants, and animals. The wetland helps sustain the ecosystem, control the micro-climate and flood, maintain the ground water level, and provide fishing grounds. From the environmental standpoint, the wetland plays a vital role in reducing water pollution by filtering out sand and other polluted matters, producing oxygen, absorbing chemicals and nutrients. For these reasons, interest in restoring the wetlands has been steadily increasing. Artificial wetland, which is also referred to as created wetland or constructed wetland, is an alternative to natural wetland. Like natural wetland, artificial wetland is environmentally friendly and can effectively lower pollutant levels. The Korea government is actively reviewing the construction of artificial wetlands in mining and water supply areas to decrease nonpoint pollutant sources. This paper attempts to develop a pollutant removal model for the water quality improvement function of artificial wetlands. Artificial wetland can improve the quality of the water; however, depending on the type of water inflow, vegetation and hydrology, its effect can be different.

접선식 유입구와 다단식 나선 유입구의 공기 배출 효과에 관한 실험적 연구 (Experimental study of the air emission effect in the tangential and the multi-stage spiral inlet)

  • 급격한 기상변화로 인한 극한 강우와 집중폭우의 발생빈도 증가로 기존 수방시설의 한계 용량을 초과해 도심지 침수피해가 빈번하게 발생하고 있다. 최근 도시화 추세가 급격하게 빨라지면서 수방시설 등 사회기반시설에 대한 지하공간 개발의 필요성이 증가하고 있으며, 지하공간을 활용한 지하방수로와 지하저류지 기술이 급부상하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 지하유입시설의 대표적 형상인 접선식 유입구와 나선식 유입구에 대한 공기 배출효과를 분석하기 위해 유입유량 변화에 따른 수직갱 내부 공기공동(air-core)의 형상 크기를 계측했다. 나선식 유입구의 경우, 저유량 유입조건에서 와류 유도 효과를 개선하기 위해 유입부 바닥면에 계단형 다단식 구조를 도입했다. 수직갱 내부 공기공동의 전체적인 평균 단면적의 경우, 다단식 나선 유입구가 접선식 유입구보다 10% 정도 크게 나타나 고유량 유입조건에서 높은 공기 배출 효과와 유입효율을 나타냈다. 접선식 유입구의 경우, 유입구가 가지는 고유 성능을 유지할 수 있는 최대 유량 조건을 초과하면서 공기 배출 효과가 감소하기 시작했다. 또한, 실험에서 사용된 접선식 유입구와 다단식 나선 유입구 모형에 활용 가능한 기초자료를 제공하기 위해 수직갱 내부 위치에 따른 공기공동 단면적에 대한 실험식(empirical formula)을 제시했다.

휴경논의 효율적 관리를 통한 수질개선 효과 연구 (The Improvement of Water Quality Purification through the Effective Management of Fallow Paddy Fields)

  • A number of fallow paddies field continues to increase because of adverse agricultural circumstance such as upsurge income of foreign products, increase of labor costs in local community, imbalance between productivity and profitability etc. Such fallow paddies are necessary to be protected against weeds and trees. If fallow paddies are not managed, it will be devastated and needed cost for re-cultivation. Therefore, management of gradually increased fallow paddy fields should be conducted. In this study, the effect of plants growth inhibition and water quality purification through the control of flood in fallow paddy were examined in an experimental field. The managed and unmanaged fallow paddies through the control of water depth were constructed in the experimental field. The monitoring was conducted from 2005 to 2007. As the result, the managed fallow paddies were more effective than the unmanaged ones on the growth inhibition and water purification. In addition, when the fallow paddy is managed with regular water depth, it was the most effective in the plants growth inhibition.
