  • This paper extends the authors' prior work on the regulation of flexible space structures via partial feedback linearization (PFL) methods to articulated systems. Recursive relations introduced by Jain and Rodriguez are central to the efficient formulation of models via Poincare's form of Lagrange's equations. Such models provide for easy construction of feedback linearizing control laws. Adaptation is shown to be an effective way of reducing sensitivity to uncertain parameters. An application to a flexible platform with mobile remote manipulator system is highlighted.

  • When a flexible arm is rotated by a motor about an axis through the arm's fixed end, transverse vibration may occur. The motor torque should be controlled in such a way that the motor rotates by a specified angle, while simultaneously stabilizing vibration of the flexible arm so that it is arrested at the end of rotation. In this paper, we propose nonlinear observer for one-link flexible am. Then based on the error dynamic equation between the plant dynamic equation and the nonlinear observer dynamic equation of the flexible one-link am, Lyapunov candidate function is applied to achieve a stable deterministic nonlinear feedback controller for the regulation of joint angle.

팔당 상수원 토지이용규제 정책의 문제점과 개선방안 (A Diagnosis of Land Use Regulation Policy in Paldang Lake)

  • This paper pointed out major problems of land use regulation policy surrounding Paldang Lake as follows: (1) inefficient management system, (2) inconsistent administrative management, (3) illogical selection of regulated area, (4) contradictory present system, and (5) controversial discharge control. Several regulation laws for the land-use surrounding Paldang Lake caused confusion of application and inefficiency of management. Amendment of regulation laws made it possible that the regulated area was developed, which resulted in the deterioration of water quality. In addition, successive regulations without scientific implementation overexpanded regulated area and focus on the discharge concentration of contaminated sources stimulated development of small size sources. To overcome these problems, we suggested reestablishment of regulated area, differentiation of regulation amendments, and flexibility in the application of regulation. It is necessary to arrange regulated area based on the efficient land use management and scientific implementation and then to mitigate land use regulation under the sustainable development. For the flexible application of regulation, it is required to amend the rule in response to the change of environmental condition and development of environmental techniques.

  • 2관절 유연한 로봇 팔는 관절 축을 회전할 때 진동이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 유연한 로봇팔의 진동 동력학은 bernoulli-Euler의 beam이론과 라그란지 방정식을 이용하여 구하였고, $\dot{D}$-2C가 skew symmetric이다는 사실을 사용하여 계산량을 줄이는 단순한 구조의 새로운 제어기를 제안한다. Lyapunov 안정도 이론은 관절을 조절하기 위한 안정한 확정적인 비선형 제어기를 성취하기 위하여 적용된다.

  • The flexible pedestrian legform impactor(Flex-PLI) consisting of a flexible femur and tibia will be tested for pedestrian protection by global technical regulation(GTR) within the next couple of years as a replacement for the existing transport research laboratory(TRL) legform impactor. In this study, a computer aided engineering(CAE) model was used to perform the effect analysis of each injury with regard to the changes in tolerance factors with the baseline results without tolerance. The tolerance factors were the height of impactor from ground reference line, initial velocity of impactor and rotation of impactor.

  • This study is performed to examine the relationships between trust and antecedents in cyberspace. Trust is the major control system in cyberspace. Different time, different spaces, different cultures, indistinct boundaries, flexible structure, separation of information from matters, cybernetics, difficulty of control are differential characteristics between cyberspace and physical space. Providing fit information, use of effective electronic channels, previous trust management, feedback system about output, flexible culture, self-regulation, off-line meeting, providing information about tasks and roles, ability, and justice are supposed to have effects on trust in cyberspace. By electronic mediated systems, the company will have more business opportunity. But trust will be conditional factors of expanding business in cyberspace.

  • This paper describes a distributed static series compensator (DSSC) which is a type of distributed flexible ac transmission system (DFACTS). The control principles including the power flow control and the current regulation are explained in detail. In order to verify the effectiveness of the DSSC, the simulation results are offered.

  • Due to the construction technique (or the construction culture) growth in and out of Korea, newly-developed products have been continuously released. Furthermore, all legislation and regulation that the World follows are gradually becoming unified. (e.g. FTA(Free Trade Agreement) with the United States was contracted, and inevitable FTA contraction with EU and China), For this reason, it is considered that Korean fire regulation on building interior materials needs to be reviewed and compared with that of international standard so that it becomes legitimate and reasonable one.

유연한 빔을 위한 강인한 샘플치 제어기의 설계 (Robust Sampled-Data Controller Design for a Flexible Beam)

  • A new approach is presented to design a robust sampled-data controller for an experimental flexible beam carrying an unknown payload at its free end. The purpose of this paper is to move the free end of the beam to a desired position in the specified time under vibration suppression. We derive a transfer function nominal model for the beam and quantitative description of model uncertainties based on experimentally obtained frequency response data. Robust controllers are designed by applying the sampled-data $H_{\infty}$ control and ${\mu}m-theory$, in which two types of uncertainties, structured and unstructured uncertainties, are adopted for satisfactory performance in terms of hinge position regulation and vibration damping, besides obviously asymptotic stability. The effectiveness of the proposed method is confirmed through simulation and experimentation.

  • 본 논문에서는 국내 최초로 설치된 Custom Power기기인 배전용 STATCOM(STATic COMpensator)의 기기 신뢰성 확보를 위힌 기가 테스트 및 설계통 운전 분석결과를 보이고 있다. Custom Power는 유연송전시스템(FACTS : Flexible AC Transmission System)과 같이 교류전력계통을 제어함으로써 효율적이고 유연한 전력계통의 운용과 구성을 목적으로 한다. STATCOM은 Custom Power기기의 한 형태로 무효전력 보상, 전압조정, 그리고 전압 퓰리커 억제 등의 기능을 가진다. 본 논문에서는 STATCOM 시운전 결과 무효전력과 역률 보상에서 우수한 성능을 보임을 확인할 수 있다.
