The estimation results are as follows: first, the married women have the lowest financial knowledge among four groups especially in general financial knowledge. Second, there is the mean-difference between married women and the other groups in investment horizon and self-assessment for investment ability. Third, the fund performance of married women is the lowest compared with the other groups. The findings imply that the financial capability of married women is the lowest among four groups.

  • It is important to find the competitive priority, which makes a great contribution to the action plans. The reason is that this makes it possible to provide Korean manufacturers with effective behavioral model to break through the depression after 1997'financial crisis in Korea. Focused priority has become a focus of organizations faced with the need to survive in a highly uncertain business environment characterized by rapid technological change, global competition, and demanding customers. Many believe that better linkages of priority and action plans are fundamental to surviving in the world market. However, there was little previous research dealing with the relationship between the strategic priority and action plans in the view of competitive weapon. This study presents empirical findings on differences between U.S. and Korean manufacturing approach to relationship of priority and plans. Specially, Korean manufacturers are eager for good model to overcome depression of 1997' financial crisis in Korea. Data was collected as part of the Manufacturing Futures Project completed in 1996. The results indicate that U.S. manufacturers maintain focused linkages from priority to action plans than do Korean manufacturers.

  • Financial firms, especially large scaled firms such as KB bank, NH bank, Samsung Card, Hana SK Card, Hyundai Capital, Shinhan Card, etc. should be securely dealing with the personal financial information. Indeed, people have tended to believe that those big financial companies are relatively safer in terms of information security than typical small and medium sized firms in other industries. However, the recent incidents of personal information privacy invasion showed that this may not be true. Financial firms have increased the investment of information protection and security, and they are trying to prevent the information privacy invasion accidents by doing all the necessary efforts. This paper studies how effectively a financial firm will be able to avoid personal financial information privacy invasion that may be deliberately caused by internal staffs. Although there are several literatures relating to information security, to our knowledge, this is the first study to focus on the behavior of internal staffs. The big financial firms are doing variety of information security activities to protect personal information. This study is to confirm what types of such activities actually work well. The primary research model of this paper is based on Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) that describes the rational choice of human behavior. Also, a variety of activities to protect the personal information of financial firms, especially credit card companies with the most customer information, were modeled by the four-step process Security Action Cycle (SAC) that Straub and Welke (1998) claimed. Through this proposed conceptual research model, we study whether information security activities of each step could suppress personal information abuse. Also, by measuring the morality of internal staffs, we checked whether the act of information privacy invasion caused by internal staff is in fact a serious criminal behavior or just a kind of unethical behavior. In addition, we also checked whether there was the cognition difference of the moral level between internal staffs and the customers. Research subjects were customer call center operators in one of the big credit card company. We have used multiple regression analysis. Our results showed that the punishment of the remedy activities, among the firm's information security activities, had the most obvious effects of preventing the information abuse (or privacy invasion) by internal staff. Somewhat effective tools were the prevention activities that limited the physical accessibility of non-authorities to the system of customers' personal information database. Some examples of the prevention activities are to make the procedure of access rights complex and to enhance security instrument. We also found that 'the unnecessary information searches out of work' as the behavior of information abuse occurred frequently by internal staffs. They perceived these behaviors somewhat minor criminal or just unethical action rather than a serious criminal behavior. Also, there existed the big cognition difference of the moral level between internal staffs and the public (customers). Based on the findings of our research, we should expect that this paper help practically to prevent privacy invasion and to protect personal information properly by raising the effectiveness of information security activities of finance firms. Also, we expect that our suggestions can be utilized to effectively improve personnel management and to cope with internal security threats in the overall information security management system.

  • Mobile environment is relatively free from time and space constraints, and has unique characteristics such as not applying physical and social vulnerability because of it's non-face-to-face channel. Since such spatial and temporal speciality is likely to appear in a different form from psychological action and action in a general face-to-face environment, it is necessary to conduct an empirical study based on the results of the existing research that has been studied as major psychological variables of action in mobile environment. However, advance research have not been conducted in earnest on the vulnerability and anxiety of the consumers in a new environment called mobile finance. so this study intends to establish the basis through empirical research. As a result, women among traditional vulnerable groups perceived themselves to be vulnerable in mobile financial environments than men and felt fear of crime strongly. In addition, the vulnerability of mobile financial crime did not have a significant direct effect on mobile financial use, but it was confirmed that mobile crime fear was mediated completely and had an indirect effect on mobile financial use.

  • Based on the perspective of consumers and the method of value engineering, this paper uses "CSR expectation deviate level" to measure corporate social responsibility, and discusses the influence of corporate social responsibility on financial performance and its action path. This paper collected the questionnaire survey data of 878 consumers and the panel data of 98 listed companies from 2009 to 2012. The empirical results show that: (1) Consumers pay more attention to products and services, charity, environmental protection and their responsibilities to employees, and less attention to their responsibilities to shareholders or creditors and partners; (2) Corporate social responsibility is negatively correlated with financial performance, and corporate marketing ability plays a moderating role in it. That is, the smaller the gap between the level of corporate social responsibility fulfilled by enterprises and consumers' expectations, the better the financial performance of enterprises, which also reminds enterprises that they need to rationally allocate corporate social responsibility resources and constantly cultivate their own marketing capabilities, so as to better meet the level of corporate social responsibility expected by consumers. The value engineering method quantifies consumers' value perception of corporate social responsibility, which has a certain practical guiding role. Of course, there are some limitations in this paper, and future research can further explore the potential impact mechanism.
