CSD 표현의 오차를 이용한 Approximate Processing과 이를 이용한 저전력 Decimation Filter의 설계 (Low-Power Decimation Filter Using Approximate Processing with Control of Error in CSD Representation)

  • This paper describes a low-power design of decimation filter. To reduce power consumption, an approximate processing method which controls the error in canonic signed digit(CSD) coefficients is proposed. The CSD representation reduces the number of operations by representing multiplications with add and shift operations. The proposed method further reduces the number of operations by controlling the error of CSD coefficient. Processor type architecture is used to implement the proposed method. Simulation result shows that the number of operations is reduced to 56%, 35% and 10% at each approximated filter level.

  • 본 논문에서는 IIR 필터의 임계 경로를 줄이기 위하여 제한된 Remez exchange 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 제안된 알고리즘은 Remez exchange 알고리즘과 최소 자승법을 이용하였다. IIR 필터 구현 예제에서 제안된 방법이 속도를 최대 20% 증가시킴을 보였다.

  • In this paper, we propose the localization method on WSN(Wireless Sensor Network) using fuzzy model and Kalman filter. The proposed method is as follows: First, we estimate the distance of RSSI(Receive Signal Strength Index) by using fuzzy model in order to minimize the distance error. Second, we use a triangulation measurement for estimating the localization. And then, we minimize the localization error using a Kalman filter. Finally, we show the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed method through some experiments.

A Novel Active Damping Control of a Three-phase PWM Inverter with LC Filter

  • A novel control method of a three-phase PWM inverter with LC filter is proposed. The transfer function of LC filter is the same as that of 2nd order low pass filter(2nd LPF) which has a zero damping ratio. A simple method of implementing 2nd LPF with damping ratio is to add resistor to inductor or capacitor of LC filter. In an industrial application, it is not practical to adopt damping resistor because it results in losses being proportional to square of current flowing through resistor. Instead of using damping resistors, the proposed active damping control(ADC) utilizes all pass filter(APF) and considers inherent processing delay of digital controller. The overall transfer function of the proposed method is the same as a 2nd LPF and its damping ratio is also controllable via control variables. Detailed design and implementation of controller is also presented. Experiments are conducted with a 7.5kVA induction motor drive system controlled by PWM converter and inverter. Test waveforms are also presented to verify the proposed LC filter control algorithm.

  • An $H_2$ filter is derived for time delay systems, where there are time delay terms in the state and in the output. A method to compute the $H_2$ norm of time delay systems is proposed. Based on the $H_2$ norm computation method, an $H_2$ filter design is formulated as a nonlinear optimization problem.

  • This paper presents a novel control strategy for passive output filter reduction using an active output filter. The proposed method achieves the dual-function of regulating the output voltage ripple and output voltage variation during load transients. The novel control strategy allows traditional simple voltage controllers to be used, without requiring the expensive current sensors and complex controllers used in conventional approaches. The proposed method is verified with results from a 125-W forward converter.

  • This paper proves that a filter for scramble spectrum is realized by a periodically time-varying digital filter. Further, we propose a design method of this filter by using a bi-frequency map. As an example, we implemented this filter with Digital Signal Processor.

탄소복합필터의 triacetin 함량 분석 (Determination of Triacetin Contents in the Activated Carbon Filter)

  • Glycerol triacetate(triacetin) is the currently used common plasticizer in the making filters from cellulose acetate tow. For the mono acetate filter, the determination of triacetin contents is already established by CORESTA recommended method (No. 59). But unfortunately, the analytical method of triacetin in the activated carbon filter have not reported so far. In this study, it was established the analytical method of carbon filter's triacetin contents at various extraction conditions, bath ratio and internal standard materials. The confidential level appeared above $95\%$ when the extraction time, ISTD material and bath ratio was 3 hours, tripropionin and below 500 mg activated carbon / 50 $m\ell$ ethanol, respectively. Also, in the distribution of triacetin with filter materials in activated carbon filters, the triacetin amount was the most contained in activated carbon. Therefore, this method can be applied to the determination of triacetin contents in the activated carbon filter.

  • 본 논문은 실내 환경에서 이동객체의 실시간 추적 알고리즘을 제안한다. 제안하는 시스템은 기존에 사용되던 삼각측량 기법과 DCM(Database Correlation Method) 기법을 통해 각각의 위치 데이터를 생성한 후, 그 중 이동객체와 더 근사한 위치 데이터를 실시간으로 선택한다. 또한 Kalman Filter를 사용하여 선택된 위치 데이터를 보정하여 시스템에 적용하므로 이동 객체의 위치 정확도를 향상시켰다. 기존에 연구된 Kalman Filter는 과거의 정보를 이용하여 현재의 위치를 추정해 내는 시스템의 특성상 안정화 되는 시간까지 불확실한 위치 데이터를 가지게 된다. 하지만 제안하는 위치 추적 시스템은 기존의 Kalman Filter를 그대로 적용하지 않고, 더 효율적인 방안을 제시한 후 적용함으로 더 정확한 위치 추적을 가능케 한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 적응 2차 볼테라 필터를 효율적으로 구현할 수 있는 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 연산량 감소를 위해 제안된 UCFD-SVF는 수렴 성능이 저하되는 단점이 있다. UCFD-SVF의 적응 필터 계수가 적응이 진행되면서 그 에너지가 급격하게 증가하지 않는다는 점을 이용하여 적응 필터 계수를 주기적으로 초기화는 방법을 제안하였다. 또한 일정한 수렴 성능을 보장하기 위해 가변적인 간격으로 적응 필터 계수를 초기화하는 방법을 제안하였고, 비정상 환경에서 우수한 수렴 특성을 가짐을 적응 시스템 확인 응용을 위한 컴퓨터 모의 실험을 통해 보였다.
