SFRC(Steel Fiber Reinforced Concrete) has advantage of crack resistance and ductility failure behavior. But the study which investigated about effect of steel fiber under bearing stress is not to be enough, and it does not be sure of criterion of SFRC for allowable bearing stress formula in internal specification. The purpose of this study is to clear the influence of SFRC on the bearing capacity and ductility of material through static loading test. additionally, arrive an allowable bearing stress formula for SFRC and examine mechanical behaviro by the 3-D finite element analysis.
This study discusses frequency analysis based on autoregressive (AR) time series model, and the characterization of surface quality in orthogonal cutting of a fiber-matrix composite materials. A sparsely distributed idealized composite material, namely a glass reinforced polyester (GFRP) was used as workpiece. Analysis method employs a force sensor and the signals from the sensor are processed using AR time series model. The experimental correlations between the fiber pull-out and AR model coefficients are then established.

In this paper, concrete material tests were carried out to investigate influence of steel fiber volumn ratios on variations of workability and strength characteristics of steel fiber reinforced high-strength concrete, $50MPa{\sim}90MPa$ of compressive strength, according to increase of fiber volume. Test specimens were arranged with six levels of concrete compressive strength and fiber volumn ratios, 0.0%, 0.5%, 1.0%, 1.5%, 2.0%. The test results showed that steel fiber reinforced high-strength concrete($70MPa{\sim}90MPa$, 1.5% fiber volumn ratio) with good workability of slump 20cm could be used practically and effects of steel fiber reinforcement in improvement of concrete strength and toughness characteristics such as splitting tensile strength, flexural strength, and diagonal tensioned shear strength, were more distinguished in high-strength concrete than general strength concrete. And the test results indicated that splitting tensile strength of fiber reinforced concrete was proportioned to the product of steel fiber volumn ratios, $V_f(%)$ and sqare root of compressive strength, $\sqrt{f_{ck}}$, and the increasing rate was in contrast with that of flexural strength, and increase of diagonal tensioned shear strength was remarkable at steel fiber volumn ratio, 0.5%.

Influencing factors on flexural toughness of ring-type fiber reinforced concrete(RSFRC) are investigated. An experiment proceeding ASTM C 78 is peformed to make a comparison between ring-type fibers and double-hook type fibers. Most specimen with ring type fibers have failed by the cone type failure, while discrete hook type fibers have failed by fiber pullout. For the hook-type fiber reinforced concrete(SFRC), the first crack load increases, as the fiber mixing volume increases. Aspect ratio(fiber length/fiber diameter) is critical for hook type fibers, so the flexural toughness increases significantly, as the length of fiber increases. However, for the ring type, the toughness indices Increase as the number of fibers in the specimen increases. Since there is no bond problem between the ring fiber and the concrete matrix, the aspect ratio does not affect the performance of the composite material with the newly developed steel fibers. Influencing factors with respect to flexural toughness RSFRC were observed to be ring diameter, diameter of steel fiber and fiber content.

In this study, it evaluate the coarse aggregate mixed effect to impact resistance performance of the fiber reinforced cement-based material. The type of fiber is Hooked-ended steel fiber, and mixed 1vol.% in concrete and cement composites. The impact experiment was conducted by using a spherical shape projectile diameter of 25mm to 170m/s speed and Impact resistance performance was evaluated by measuring the fracture grade, fracture diameter and depth.
3D printing technology has the advantage of easy to make various shapes of products without a mold. However, it has a problem such as mechanical properties vary greatly depending on materials and manufacturing conditions. Thus, the need for research of 3D printing technology on ways to reduce manufacturing cost compared to physical properties is increasing. In this study, a 3D printing thermoplastic structure was fabricated using short fiber carbon fiber reinforced nylon filaments. And a method of improving mechanical properties was proposed by reinforcing the outer surface using pultruded continuous fiber-type carbon fiber or glass fiber-reinforced thermosetting composite material. It was confirmed that the bending properties were improved according to the reinforcing position of the stiffener and the type of fiber in the stiffener.
This paper presents results from an analytical investigation of the behavior of steel reinforced concrete circular column sections with additional Glass Fiber Reinforced Polymers (GFRP) bars. The primary application of this composite section is to relocate the plastic hinge region from the column-footing joint where repair is difficult and expensive. Mainly, the study focuses on the development of the full nominal moment-axial load (M-P) interaction diagrams for hybrid concrete sections, reinforced with steel bars as primary reinforcement, and GFRP as auxiliary control bars. A large parametric study of circular steel reinforced concrete members were undertaken using a purpose-built MATLAB(c) code. The parameters considered were amount, location, dimensions and mechanical properties of steel, GFRP and concrete. The results indicate that the plastic hinge was indeed shifted to a less critical and congested region, thus facilitating cost-effective repair. Moreover, the reinforced concrete steel-GFRP section exhibited high strength and good ductility.

Experiment on flexural analysis of RC beams strengthened with composite material panel is presented. Recently, the strengthening of reinforced concrete structures using advanced fiber reinforced plastic (FRP) composites, and in particular the behavior of FRP-reinforced concrete structure is topic that has become very popular because of good corrosion resistance and easy for site handling due to their light weight. In this study, an efficient computational analysis using ABAQUS to predict the ultimate moment capacity of reinforced concrete beams strengthened with FRP is presented. Test parameters in this study are the shape of fiber arrangement (LT, DB, DBT) and the number of carbon fiber sheets (2ply, 3ply). When comparing with results of the analytical model, results of the experiments show similar values. Furthermore, reinforced concrete beam with FRP obtains improved effects for ultimate strength.
In recent years, the use of fiber reinforced polymer composites has increased because of their unique features. They have been used widely in the aircraft and space industries, medical and sporting goods and automotive industries. Thanks to their beneficial and various advantages over traditional materials such as high strength, high rigidity, low weight, corrosion resistance, low maintenance cost, aesthetic appearance and easy demountable or moveable construction. In this paper, it is aimed to determine and compare the geometrically nonlinear static and dynamic analysis results of footbridges using steel and glass fiber reinforced polymer composite (GFRP) materials. For this purpose, Halgavor suspension footbridge is selected as numerical examples. The analyses are performed using three identical footbridges, first constructed from steel, second built only with GFRP material and third made of steel- GFRP material, under static and dynamic loadings using finite element method. In the finite element modeling and analyses, SAP2000 program is used. Geometric nonlinearities are taken into consideration in the analysis using P-Delta criterion. The numerical results have indicated that the responses of the three bridges are different and that the response values obtained for the GFRP composite bridge are quite less compared to the steel bridge. It is understood that GFRP material is more useful than the steel for the footbridges.

Previous researches for fiber reinforced composite material(FRCM) have been evaluated the fatigue delamination behavior using the traditional fracture mechanics parameters. Therefore. previous researches for FRCM have not generally been firmed yet. Because delamination growth behavior in FRCM should be consider relationship between delamination area, A$\sub$D/ and crack length, a instead of traditional fracture mechanics parameters. Especially, in case of delamination behavior for FRCM without crack should be considering equivalent crack, i.e., pseudo crack, a$\sub$p/, using the fracture behavior of FRCM with crack. The major purpose of this study was to evaluate the delamination for FRCM without crack. The details of the studies are as follow : 1) Relationship between crack growth rate, da/dN and stress intensity factor, ΔK in FRCM containing a saw-cut and circular hole with crack. 2) Propose of PSEUDO CRACK MODEL for the delamination in FRCM without crack. 3) Analysis of crack propagation energy, E$\sub$crack/ using a total energy, E$\sub$total/ and delamination growth energy, E$\sub$del/.
