일 지역 여고생의 인터넷 음란물 접촉실태, 성지식, 성태도 및 관련요인 조사 (Exposure to Internet Pornography and Related Factors in Female High School Students)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to analyze the exposure of female high school students to Internet pornography and its related factors. Methods: A total of 392 female high school students were selected through convenience sampling. Data were collected using self-reported questionnaires from June 27 to July 8, 2005. Results: 1. As for exposure to Internet pornography, 61.0% of the respondents had been exposed to Internet pornography and 29.7% had their first exposure to Internet pornography when they were in the 3rd grade of middle school. In addition, 87.9% of the respondents spent less than 30 minutes each time to view Internet pornography. In 41.8% of the respondents, the reason for seeing Internet pornography was curiosity about sexuality. 2. Both the level of sexual knowledge (t=3.174, p=.002) and attitude (t=2.567, p=.011) were significantly different between the exposure group and the non-exposure group. 3. Grade, daily mean time to use computer, and sexual knowledge had statistically significant effects on exposure to Internet pornography. Conclusion: It is necessary to make repeated study to find other variables that affect students' exposure to Internet pornography and to develop education programs to enhance students' coping ability against Internet pornography. Also, parents' concern over youth is necessary to prevent them from being exposed to Internet pornography.

여교사의 외모에 대한 태도와 헤어 및 메이크업스타일 선호도 -남.녀 고등학생을 중심으로- (The Preference for Attitude of Appearence the Female Teacher's Hair and Make-up Styles focus on the High School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the preference for female teacher's appearance of the high school boys and girls. A survey was conducted on 400 high school sophomores, juniors and seniors in Chungcheong province, who included both boys and girls. And the answer sheets from 396 students were selected for analysis. For data handling, SPSS 12.0 program was employed to make a frequency analysis of every item, and descriptive statistics was utilized for every item as well. In addition, t-test and crosstabs were implemented to look for any possible gaps between the boys and girls. The results were as follows: Boys had a much more interest in the appearance of female teacher's face than girls. High school Students preferred to nature style in hair and make-up. Boys relatively more liked the teachers who were young, elegant and had feminine attraction than girls. Boys preferred to feminine and traditional than girls. But there were significant differences in the preference of hair shape and make-up color between boys and girls.

3차원 데이터에 의한 여고생의 발 형태에 관한 연구 (A Study on Foot Shape by 3D Data of Female High School Students)

  • This study analyzes the foot shape of female high school students using 3D foot scan data based on a comparison with adult women (20s'-30s'). Data were collected from the foot anthropometry of 199 female high school students in Gwangju and Jeollanam-do. The right foot was measured indirectly by 3D laser scanner. There are 16 items in the foot anthropometric measurements. The $6^{th}$ Size Korea (measured by 3D scan data) is used for women's foot data. The results of the 3D measurements data investigation show that the foot length and foot width became longer and wider as the age increased. It is classified by three types after analyzing foot shape. Type 1 (28.1%) represented the shortest foot length, the narrowest foot width as well as the thick foot and long ankle shape. Type 2 (4.3%) represented the wide foot width such as the wide lateral ball width and semi-thickness shape. Type 3 (67.7%) referred to the widest foot width, flat foot and short ankle shape.

경기지역 일부 중학생의 식행동과 생활스트레스와의 관계 (Relationship between Dietary Behaviors and Life Stress of Middle School Students in Gyeonggi Area)

  • Objectives: The study was performed to examine the dietary behaviors and life stress of middle school students in the Gyeonggi area. Methods: A total of 580 middle school students (295 males, 285 females) in the Gyeonggi area participated in the study between July and August in 2011. The study was a questionnaire-based survey that included dietary habits, dietary behaviors, and life stress. Results: For dietary habits, the score for drinking milk was higher in male students than in female students, whereas the score for eating fruits was higher in female students compared to male students. There were significant differences in foods eaten and preferred under stress between male and female students. Male students showed significantly less changes in the number of meals, amount of meal intake, number of snacks, snack intake, frequency of overeating, and appetite during stress than female students. Life stress score of students largely came from academic factors, and female students showed higher stress levels in personal and surrounding environment factors than male students. Life stress score was significantly lower in students with high and moderate levels of dietary habits than in students with a low level of dietary habits. Total score for dietary habits and scores for eating adequate amounts of foods for each meal, considering a combination of food groups at each meal and eating green and orange vegetables, were significantly negatively correlated with life stress score. Life stress score was significantly negatively correlated with meal regularity and positively with the level of overeating. Conclusions: This study may provide basic information on dietary habits and life stress according to gender and the relationship between dietary behaviors and life stress of middle school students, and it suggests gender-based nutrition education programs to solve undesirable dietary habits and dietary behaviors in students with higher stress.

우리나라, 싱가포르, 핀란드의 PISA 2012 수학에서의 성차에 대한 교육맥락변인 영향력 비교 분석 (Analysis of Educational Context Variable Effects on Gender Differences Observed in PISA 2012 Mathematics in Korea, Singapore, and Finland)

  • 본 연구에서는 PISA 2012 수학 영역에서 나타난 성차가 PISA 2009와 비교하여 여학생의 점수는 유지된 반면, 남학생의 점수가 급격히 상승했으며, 그 원인이 상위수준의 남녀 비율의 차이에서 비롯되었다고 보고 남녀의 상위수준 성취에 영향을 준 교육맥락 변인을 분석하였다. 특히 PISA 2012의 상위국 가운데 여학생의 성취가 높은 싱가포르와 핀란드에 대해서도 동일 변수에 대해 분석하여 상위권 여학생의 성취에 영향을 주는 요인을 살펴보았다. 이때 PISA의 위계적 자료구조의 특성을 고려하고, 국가별 수학 상위수준(5수준 이상)과 최상위수준(6수준) 집단별 교육맥락변인 특성을 비교하기 위해 이항로짓 다층분석을 실시하여 상위수준 및 최상위수준 집단에 포함될 확률에 유의한 영향을 준 변수를 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 방과 후 과외 및 학원에서의 학습시간은 세 국가의 남녀 학생 모두에 유의한 영향이 없었으며, 방과 후 학교에서 내어준 숙제를 하는 시간은 우리나라와 싱가포르의 남녀 학생이 상위수준 및 최상위 수준에 포함될 확률에 유의한 영향을 주었다. 특히 우리나라의 여학생이 상위수준 또는 최상위수준 집단에 포함되는데 공통으로 영향을 준 변수는 '방과 후 숙제 시간', '학습활동 태도', '학교평균 ESCS', '교사와 학생 관계'였으며, '가정 문화적 자산'은 우리나라, 싱가포르, 핀란드의 여학생이 최상위집단 포함되는데 주요한 영향을 주었다.

부모학대 및 방임이 남녀 고등학생의 자아탄력성과 자아존중감에 미치는 영향: 또래애착과 교사친밀감의 조절효과 (Effects of child abuse and neglect on male·female high school students' ego-resilience and self-esteem: Moderating roles of peer attachment and closeness to teachers)

  • 본 연구는 부모학대와 방임이 남녀 고등학생의 자아탄력성과 자아존중감에 미치는 영향과 이 과정에서 또래애착과 교사친밀감의 조절효과를 알아보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위해, 한국 아동·청소년패널조사의 초등학교 4학년 패널(2~7차년도) 1,750명의 자료를 사용하여 위계적 회귀분석을 실시하였으며, 다음과 같은 주요결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 남자 고등학생의 경우 부모로부터 학대수준이 높을수록, 또래애착과 교사친밀감 수준이 높을수록 자아탄력성 수준이 높았으며, 부모방임 수준이 높을수록 자아탄력성 수준은 낮았다. 반면 여자 고등학생의 경우 부모로부터 높은 수준의 방임을 경험할수록, 자아탄력성 수준은 낮았으며, 또래애착과 교사친밀감 수준이 높을수록 자아탄력성 수준이 높았다. 한편 남자 고등학생에 한해서 또래애착이 부모학대가 자아탄력성에 미치는 영향을 조절하였으며, 구체적으로 또래애착이 낮은 경우 부모학대경험이 자아탄력성에 미치는 정적 영향력이 존재하는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 남자와 여자 고등학생 모두 부모로부터 경험한 학대와 방임수준이 높을수록 자아존중감 수준은 낮았으며, 또래애착과 교사친밀감 수준이 높을수록 자아존중감 수준이 높았다. 한편 여자 고등학생에 한해서 또래애착이 부모학대 및 방임경험이 자아존중감에 미치는 영향을 조절하였다. 구체적으로, 또래애착이 낮은 경우 부모학대경험이 여자 고등학생의 자아존중감에 미치는 부적 영향력이 존재한 반면 또래애착이 높아질수록 부모방임이 여자 고등학생의 자아존중감에 미치는 부적 영향력이 커졌다. 마지막으로 이상의 주요결과를 토대로, 학교현장에서 부모학대 예방차원에서의 가정과 교과의 역할과 학대경험 남녀 청소년을 상담 시, 고려할 점을 제안하였다.

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to compare sociocultural attitudes toward appearance, appearance satisfaction, and peer relationships between male and female middle school students, and to compare the effects of these variables on self-esteem in students of different genders. Methods: Data were collected in August and September of 2023 and analyzed using SPSS 24.0. Data were collected from 289 male and 240 female students through a survey, and descriptive statistics, x2 test, t-test, Scheffé test, and multiple regression analysis were conducted. Results: Female students showed significantly higher scores for sociocultural attitudes toward appearance (3.06±0.77 vs. 2.82±0.74), significantly lower scores for appearance satisfaction (2.55±0.46 vs. 2.71±0.40), and significantly higher scores for peer relationships (3.46±0.69 vs. 3.00±0.78) than male students. Additionally, self-esteem was significantly lower in female students (2.84±0.59) than in male students (2.95±0.51). As a result of adjusting for weekly allowance, subjective academic achievement, family economic status, stress, and experience of sadness or despair, which were significant in the univariate analysis, self-esteem increased as appearance satisfaction (p for all <.001) and peer relationships increased in both male (p=.009) and female (p<.001) students. In addition, sociocultural attitudes toward appearance did not have a significant impact on self-esteem in both male and female students. Among general characteristics, weekly allowance, subjective academic achievement, and stress were found to have a significant effect on self-esteem in both genders. Relationships with parents had a significant effect on self-esteem only in male students, and experience of sadness or despair had a significant effect only in female students. Conclusion: In order to improve self-esteem in both boys and girls, appearance satisfaction and peer relationships should be improved. As boys with poor relationships with their parents and girls with high levels of sadness or despair are particularly likely to have low self-esteem, they are to be considered as a high-risk group.

전북지역 남여 고등학교 기숙사 학생들의 무기물 섭취 실태 조사 (Mineral Intake of High School Students in the Dormitories)

  • The intaking patterns of minerals of 80 high school students in urban dormitories, 16∼19 year old, In Jeonbuk province were investigated in August, 1990. Dally sodium intake of male and female students was 6,539(NaCl 16.6g), and 4,240mg(NaCl 10.8g) respectively, and their potassium intake was 2.559 and 1.696 mg respectively, Their daily calcium intake was below the RDA's, which was 549.57 mg and 359.81 mg respectively. They were offered the most source of NaCl from the soups. Male and female students were offered NaCl only 2.18 g and 1.80g respectively from Kimchi which is one of the main side dishes.

급식 운영 형태에 따른 금산 지역 중.고등학생의 학교 급식 만족도 (A Comparison of Students Satisfaction with School Foodservice Program by Foodservice Operation Types in Middle and High Schools Students in the Geumsan-Gun Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the satisfaction with school foodservice programs by foodservice operation type in middle school and high school students in the Geumsan-Gun area. A total of 530 subjects(250 middle school and 280 high school students) from the Geumsan-Gun area participated from March 15 to March 23, 2004. Questionnaires were used to study dietary habits, activity levels, and current health conditions. The results of the study are summarized as follows. Based on the body mass index(BMI) scores of the students, the high school male BMI scores were significantly different(5%), and they were underweight for their height. The students were primarily dissatisfied with times for meals for school foodservice under direct management and with the quantity of meal for school foodservice under contract. Compared to the middle school female students, the male high school students were dissatisfied with the time for meals and quantity of food. Generally, the students were satisfied with dessert items the most. The food most often wasted was soup. The middle and high school students preferred food services to those under contract.

서울시 중.고등학생들의 학교아침급식 참여 의사에 영향을 미치는 요인 (Factors Affecting Intention to Participate in School Breakfast Programs of Middle and High School Students in Seoul)

  • The purpose of this study was to determine factors affecting intention to participate in school breakfast programs of middle and high school students in Seoul using the Theory of Planned Behavior. Out of 2,280 questionnaires distributed to the middle and high school students, 2,060 were returned (90.4% response rate) and 1,799 were analyzed (78.9% analysis rate). To determine factors affecting intention to participate in school breakfast programs, logistic regression analyses were conducted for middle and high school students, respectively. For logistic regression, data of 1,217 out of 1,799 students (637 middle and 580 high school students) were used after excluding 582 students which had an answer 'Not sure' to the question about intention to participate in school breakfast programs. In case of middle school students, male than female students (OR = 1.504), the students who skipped all breakfast (OR = 1.851), who ate breakfast $1{\sim}2$ times (OR = 3.474) or $3{\sim}4$ times (OR = 1.950) than those who ate breakfast everyday during weekdays of the previous week were more likely to participate in school breakfast programs. In case of high school students, male than female (OR = 1.967), the students who skipped all breakfast (OR = 4.187), the students who ate breakfast $1{\sim}2$ times (OR = 3.024) or $3{\sim}4$ times (OR = 2.095) than those who ate breakfast everyday during weekdays of the previous week were more likely to participate in school breakfast programs. In addition, both possibility of middle and high school students' participation in school breakfast programs increased as the satisfaction with school lunch service (OR = 1.704, 1.653) increased. Middle school students who perceived their household income level 'low or middle low' (OR = 1.999) than those who perceived their household income level 'middle' and the students who had more positive 'attitude' (OR = 1.311) toward eating breakfast were more likely to participate in school breakfast programs. However, high school students who had higher 'perceived difficulty in access to breakfast' (OR = 1.370) were more likely to participate in school breakfast programs. The results of this study could be useful data to plan and develop school breakfast programs in Korea.
