주축 모터 출력 특성에 근거한 무인 선삭 제어 (Unmanned Turning Process Control Based on Spindle-Motor Power Characteristics)

  • In the turning process, the feed is usually selected by a machining operator considering workpiece, cutting tool and depth of cut. Even if this selection can avoid power saturation or tool breakage, it is usually conservative compared to the capacity of the machine tools and can reduce the productivity significantly. This paper proposes a selection method of the feed and the reference cutting force based on MRR(material removal rate), maximum spindle power and specific energy. In order to estimate and control cutting force accurately in transient and steady state, this study utilizes a synthesized cutting force estimation method and a Fuzzy controller. The experimental results show that these systems can be useful for the unmanned turning process.

수직다관절형 아암의 운동학적 모델링 및 관절공간 모션제어에 관한 연구 (A Study on Kinematics Modeling and Motion Control Algorithm Development in Joint for Vertical Type Articulated Robot Arma)

  • In this paper, we propose a new technique to the design and real-time control of an adaptive controller for robotic manipulator based on digital signal processors. The Texas Instruments DSPs(TMS320C80) chips are used in implementing real-time adaptive control algorithms to provide enhanced motion control performance for dual-arm robotic manipulators. In the proposed scheme, adaptation laws are derived from model reference adaptive control principle based on the improved Lyapunov second method. The proposed adaptive controller consists of an adaptive feed-forward and feedback controller and time-varying auxiliary controller elements. The proposed control scheme is simple in structure, fast in computation, and suitable for real-time control. Moreover, this scheme does not require any accurate dynamic modeling, nor values of manipulator parameters and payload. Performance of the proposed adaptive controller is illustrated by simulation and experimental results for a dual arm robot manipulator with eight joints. joint space and cartesian space.

  • This paper presents an feed-forward neural network design instead PI controller for the speed control of an Induction Motor. The design employs the training strategy with Neural Network Controller(NNC) and Neural Network Emulator(NNE). Emulator identifies the motor by simulating the input and output map. In order to update the weights of the Controller. Emulator supplies the error path to the output stage of the controller using backpropagation algorithm. and then Controller produces an adequate output to the system due to neural networks learning capability. Therefore it becomes adjustable to the system with changing characteristics caused by a load. The speed control based on neural networks for induction motor is implemented by a vector controlled induction motor. The simulation results demonstrate that actual motor speed with neural network system well follows the reference speed minimizing the error and is available to implement on the vector control theory.

비선형 시스템을 위한 퍼지 모델 기반 제어기의 설계 (Design of a Fuzzy-Model-Based Controller for Nonlinear Systems)

  • 본 논문에서는 단일 입력 단일 출력을 갖는 복잡한 비선형 시스템을 위한 퍼지 제어 시스템의 설계 및 분석을 제시한다. 제안된 방법은 주어진 비선형 시스템의 지역적인 동특성을 표현하기 위해 퍼지 모델을 구성하여 이를 바탕으로 제어기를 구성한다. 전체 시스템을 총괄하는 제어기는 각 지역 퍼지 모델에 대한 보상기와 슬라이딩 모드 제어 이론을 사용한 전역 피드포워드 제어기를 사용하여 구성한다. 따라서 제안된 제어기는 퍼지 모델 기반 제어방법과 슬라이딩 모드 제어 방법의 장점을 동시에 취하여 기존의 퍼지 모델 기반 제어기와 달리 공통 리아프노프 행렬을 구하지 않고서 안정성을 증명할 수 있으며 향상된 성능 및 추종 성능을 보인다. 또한 제안된 제어방법은 기존의 퍼지 모델기반 제어 방법과는 달리 원 비선형 시스템에 대한 안정도의 해석이 가능하다. 제안된 방법의 우수성과 유효성을 보이기 위해 두가지 수치 예제를 제공한다.

  • In this paper, a drive system of induction motor with high performance is realized on the viewpoint of the design and experiment, using the DSP (TMS320F240). The speed controller for induction motor drive system is designed on the basis of a neuro-fuzzy network. The neuro-fuzzy controller acts as a feed-forward controller that provides the right control input for the plant and accomplishes error back-propagation algorithm through the network. The proposed network is used to achieve the high speedy calculation of the space vector PWM (Pulse Width Modulation) and to build the neuro-fuzzy control algorithm, for the real-time control. The proposed neuro-fuzzy algorithm on the basis of DSP shows that experimental results have good performance for the precise speed control of an induction motor drive system. It is confirmed that the proposed controller could provide more improved control performance than conventional v/f vector controllers through the experiment.

  • In this study, the load fluctuation of the main engine is considered to be a disturbance for the jacket coolant temperature control system of the low-speed two-stroke main diesel engine on the ships. A nonlinear PID temperature control system with satisfactory disturbance rejection performance was designed by rapidly transmitting the load change value to the controller for following the reference set value. The feed-forwarded load fluctuation is considered the set points of the dual loop control system to be changed. Real-coded genetic algorithms were used as an optimization tool to tune the gains for the nonlinear PID controller. ITAE was used as an evaluation function for optimization. For the evaluation function, the engine jacket coolant outlet temperature was considered. As a result of simulating the proposed cascade nonlinear PID control system, it was confirmed that the disturbance caused by the load fluctuation was eliminated with satisfactory performance and that the changed set value was followed.

  • This paper presents a cartesian space decentralized adaptive controller design for the end effector of the robot manipulator to track the given desired trajectory in the cartesian coordinate. By the cartesian based control scheme, the task related high level motion command is directly executed without solving the complex inverse kinematic equations. The controller does not require the complex manipulator dynamic model, and hence it is computationally very efficient. Each degree of freedom of the end effector on the cartesian space is controlled by a PID feedback controller and a velocity acceleration feed forward conpensation part. Simulation results for a two-link direct drive manipulator conform that the present cartesian based decentralized scheme is feasible.
