한국재래오골계의 유전 및 경제형질에 관한 연구 I. 외모형질에 대한 특징과 생장 (Studies on the Hereditary Characters and Some Economical Traits of Korean Native Ogolgye I. Characteristics and Growth of Morphological Traits)

  • 본 연구는 한국재래오골계의 외모형질에 대한 특징과 생장을 조사하여 품종학적인 정립과 유전적 개량 및 유전자보존을 위한 기초자료를 얻기 위하여 천연기념물 265호로 지정된 연산오골계 총 1,156수를 공시하여 실시하였다. 조사항목으로써는 우모색과 지수, 정강이와 관의 색과 정강이, 관, 우역에 따른 깃털 생장 및 생존율 등이었으며, 이들에 관한 수치들이 표의 형태로 본문에 제시되었다. 얻어진 결과들을 요약하면, 우모는 정상우에 흑색과 백색으로 구분되었으나 백색우모계의 빈도는 극히 낮고, 지색은 흑색모계에서 흑색지와 백색모계에서 백색지로 구분되고, 관은 암ㆍ수 모두 흑색계통의 단관이고, 각우가 없는 회흑색 정강이에 사지이며 흑색안을 갖는 것으로 요약된다.

고려불화를 통해 본 현실세계 인물의 복식에 표현된 선의 유형분류 (A Classification of the Types of Seon Expressed in Costume of Worldly Figures Illustrated in Koryo Buddhist Paintings)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze characteristics of each of the types of Seon which was expressed in costume of worldly figures illustrated in Koryo Buddhist paintings. The types of 'Seon' are largely classified into Standard and Application types. Among these types, standard type are reclassified into the types of same color and no pattern, different color and no pattern, same color and pattern and different color and pattern. And Application type is reclassified into the types of Buseon, wrinkle, feather and leaf, Regarding styles of Seon, most costumes for men and women used Seon of Standard style, especially that of different color and no pattern style. In addition, costumes for men more often used Seon of Standard style, especially that of different color and pattern style. While, costumes far women more often used Seon of application style, especially that of feather or wrinkle style. Seon was practically used to reinforce the edge of clothes, whether for men or women, and at the same time, and at the same time decorated the clothes brilliantly. In regard to aesthetic qualities of clothes in accordance with types of Seon, clothes having Seon of same color and no pattern type was natural and simple and different color and no pattern type, artificial and simple, same color and pattern type, natural and brilliant and different color and pattern type, artificial and brilliant. And costumes having Seon of Buseon type was decorative and simple, wrinkle type, sophisticated and dynamic, feather type, voluminous and dynamic and leaf type, brilliant and dynamic.

토종 '우리맛닭' 부계 및 실용계에서 MC1R 유전자 변이 및 모색과의 연관성 분석 (Genetic Variations of Chicken MC1R Gene and Associations with Feather Color of Korean Native Chicken (KNC) 'Woorimatdag')

  • 본 연구는 '우리맛닭 실용계의 외모 균일화 및 판별 마커개발을 위하여 수탉으로 이용되는 토종닭 순계 H계통 암탉 207수, 수탉 40수와 '우리맛닭' 실용계 60수의 혈액을 채취하고 DNA를 분리하였다. 모색 관련 후보 유전자 MC1R primer를 제작하여 PCR을 수행한 후, direct sequencing을 실시하였다. 개체별 모색 표현형을 조사한 결과, H계통 순계 암탉 207수 중 157수는 흑색 모색, 50수는 흑색+갈색 모색으로 조사되었다. 수탉의 경우, 40수 중 흑색 모색만 있는 개체는 없고, 흑색+갈색의 모색이 다양한 부위에 섞여 있었다. '우리맛닭' 실용계의 경우 흑색 모색 30수와 갈색 모색 30수를 암수 관계없이 샘플링하여 조사하였다. 모색 표현형과 유전형과의 연관성을 알아보기 위하여 모색 관련 후보유전자 MC1R의 sequencing 결과를 분석하여 유전자 변이를 살펴보았지만, 모색 표현형과 유전형과의 유의적인 연관성을 찾을 수 없었다. 이는 토종닭 순계 H계통의 경우, 검정색의 같은 품종 내에서 갈색 이모색을 가진 개체와의 유전적 변이를 탐색한 결과, 그 차이가 분명하게 구별되지 않은 것으로 생각되어진다. '우리맛닭' 실용계에서 haplotype 및 유전자빈도 분석을 통하여 이모색과의 연관성을 보다 명확하게 결정하기 위해서는 부계와 모계의 모색 표현형과 유전특성을 함께 고려해야 할 것으로 판단된다. '우리맛닭'의 모색 균일도 향상을 위한 모색 표현형과 관련 유전자의 연관성분석 및 유전적 특성에 대한 연구는, 향후 이를 이용하여 '우리맛닭'의 불법 유통을 막고 고품질 브랜드화를 위한 분자마커 개발의 기초 자료로 활용될 것으로 생각된다.

Phenotypic Characterization of Aseel Chicken of Bangladesh

  • The aim of this study was to investigate phenotypic characteristics, morphometric measurements, reproduction and production performances of Aseel chicken of Bangladesh. The dominant feather color of neck/hackles was red in both males (56.14%) and females (54.16%) while the sickle feather color was mostly black in both chickens (71.93% vs. 54.17%). The predominant saddle and breast feather colors were red (40.35%) and black (64.91%), respectively, in male whereas most frequent observed color was pale brown in female (58.33 and 50.0%, respectively). The predominant feather color of wing bow and wing bay was found black (68.42 and 80.70%, respectively) in male but only pale brown color was observed in females (62.5 and 54.17%, respectively) for these two characters. Different phenotypic measurements such as the average shank length and circumference were $12.79{\pm}0.13$ and $7.8{\pm}0.08$ cm, respectively, in male and $10.21{\pm}0.25$ and $5.81{\pm}0.21$ cm, respectively, in female. Keel length was $14.39{\pm}0.19$ cm in male and $10.79{\pm}0.23$ cm in female. The average adult live weight in male was measured $3749.12{\pm}83.44$ g while in female it was $2062.50{\pm}105.26$ g. The age of 1st lay was found to be 28.86 weeks. Total number of eggs laid per year ranged between 24~48, number of clutch/hen/year varied from 2 to 4 and number of eggs/clutch/hen was found to be 10~12. The average live weight of Aseel chicken at 1, 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 16 and 17 weeks of age were recorded as $31.14{\pm}0.55$, $48.63{\pm}3.99$, $116.57{\pm}5.72$, $138.40{\pm}5.91$, $212.88{\pm}4.82$, $361.00{\pm}9.72$, $577.50{\pm}42.86$, $743.75{\pm}24.65$, $1086.00{\pm}26.02$, $1402.00{\pm}24.54$ and $1432.00{\pm}27.00$ g respectively. Finally, this phenotypic characterization as well as productive and reproductive performances of Aseel chicken will give the baseline information to researcher for further study and for planning any on-ward conservation and implement strategy.

  • 닭을 구분하는데 있어 가장 눈에 띠는 것이 모색이며, 모색 관련 유전자인 MC1R, MITF, TYRP1의 SNP에 따른 유전자형을 확인하고, 각 품종별로 구별이 가능한 SNP 마커를 개발하고자 하는데, 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 마커들을 조합으로 haplotype을 보았을 때, MC1R 유전자의 SNP 조합에서 CGG type일 경우, 재래닭 만을 특별히 구별할 수 있었으며, TAG, TGG, TAA type일 경우에는 아라카나 만을 구별할 수 있었고, CAA type의 경우, 레그혼 만을 특이적으로 구별할 수 있었다. TYRP1 유전자의 SNP 조합에서는 TTTCA, CCTCA type의 경우, 레그혼 만을 구별할 수 있으며, CTTTA type의 경우, 오골계 만을 특이적으로 구별할 수 있었다. MC1R 유전자의 SNP 조합으로 재래닭, 레그혼, 아라카나를 구별할 수 있었고, TYRP1 유전자의 각각의 SNP 및 조합으로 4가지 품종 모두 구별할 수 있었다. 이렇게 품종 간의 유전적 다형성에 대한 연구가 더 많이 진행된다면, 단순 모색만으로 품종을 구별하기보다는 분자생물학적으로 품종 간의 차이를 이해할 수 있게 될 것이라고 생각된다.

Isolation and Characterization of a Feather Degrading Alkalophilic Streptomyces sp. TBG-S13A5 and its Keratinolytic Properties

  • Keratinases are of particular interest because of their action on insoluble keratins and generally on a broad range of protein substrates. Alkalophilic and neutrophilic actinomycete strains isolated from different soil samples, rich in keratinaceous substances were screened for keratinolytic activity. An alkalophilic isolate, TBG-S13A5, was found to possess good keratinolytic activity and was able to utilize feather as the sole carbon and nitrogen source. TBG-S13A5 exhibited an off-white aerial mass color with a rectus-flexibilis type of spore chain. The morphological, microscopical and biochemical characters were comparable with that of Streptomyces albidoflavus. Fatty acid methyl ester profiling (FAME) and 16S rDNA sequence analysis confirmed its identity as a strain of S. albidoflavus. Under submerged fermentation conditions, maximum protease production was recorded on the $5^{th}$ day of incubation at $30^{\circ}C$, using basal broth of pH 9.0 with 0.25% (w/v) white chicken feather. This strain could affect feather degradation when the initial pH was 8 and above and maximum protease production was recorded when the initial pH was around 10.5. The effectiveness of the crude enzyme in destaining and leather dehairing were also demonstrated.

Bacillus sp. 접종 우모분이 비육돈의 생산성과 도체특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Bacillus sp. Inoculated Feather Meal on the Performance and Carcass Characteristics in Finishing Pigs)

  • 본 시험은 우모분의 사료적 가치를 향상시키기 위하여 우모 단백질 분해균인 Bacillus sp.를 우모분에 접종하여 비육돈의 단백질 공급원인 대두박에 수준별로 대체하여 총 5처리구로 설정하였으며, 각 처리구당 3반복으로 임의배치하였다. 시험사료 급여구의 증체량, 사료요구율, 육의 아미노산 함량 및 도체특성을 조사․분석하였다. 사양시험은 5처리$\time$3반복$\time$10두로서 총 150두를 공시하여 70일간 실시하였다. 비육 전기간(0-70일간) 동안의 일당증체량은 Bacillus sp. 접종 우모분으로 대두박의 20%를 대체․급여한 BSM 20구가 0.95kg으로서 일반 우모분으로 10%와 20%를 대체․급여한 CSM 10구와 CSM 20구의 0.80-0.81kg에 비하여 증가 하였으며, 사료요구율도 2.94로서 우수하였다(P<0.05). 도체중은 BSM 10구와 BSM 20구가 각각 81.84kg과 83.77kg으로서 CSM 10구와 20구의 74.75kg과 76.07kg에 비하여 유의적으로(P<0.05) 증가하였다. A등급 출현율은 BSM 20구가 35.03%로서 대조구의 32.78%에 비하여 뚜렷하게 향상되었다. 육색의 CIE L*값은 BSM 10구가 45.56으로서 가장 낮았으며, CSM 20구는 59.96으로서 가장 높았다(P<0.05). CIE a* 값은 대조구가 9.35로서 BSM 10구와 BSM 20구의 7.56과 7.42에 비하여 높았다(P<0.05). 이상의 결과를 종합하면, 비육돈을 사육할 경우에는 Bacillus sp. 접종 우모분으로 대두박의 20%를 대체․급여함으로서 체중의 증가 및 사료요구율이 개선되었으며, 돼지 등심의 육색과 지방색에도 이상이 없을 뿐 아니라 육질 A등급 출현율도 크게 향상되었다. 특히, 일당 증체량으로 환산할 경우에는 출하일령을 약 8일 정도 단축시킬 수 있기 때문에 대체 단백질 사료자원의 확보 뿐만 아니라 농가 소득증대에도 크게 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

토종닭과 실용계에서 TYR 및 MC1R 유전자의 변이 분석 (Investigation of TYR and MC1R polymorphisms in Korean native chickens and the commercial chickens)

  • The commercial Korean native chickens (WR_CC) was developed by crossing a few native chicken breeds in Korea. In order to investigate the breed identification markers, SNPs from TYR gene and MC1R gene, which are associated with skin and feather colors respectively, were initially identified. In case of 3 identified SNPs in the TYR gene, yellow shank color was identified in Loss, Harvard, AA, RIR and CC, which have the fixed SNPs in most of the animals. On the other hand, SNP variations were observed in KNC_RB, C_B, WR_CC and HH_CC, which have the black, yellow and mixed color with black and yellow shank colors. Also, the investigation of 3 SNPs in the MC1R gene indicated that there were associations between shank and feather colors in RIR, SF, KNC_B, C_B and RIR. However, these results are not consistent among breeds. These SNP type inconsistencies within breeds suggested that the selection was performed based on the phenotypes, which is not include the genotype information. Thus, selection based on genetic information is required in the future.

우모분과 pyridoxine에 의한 taurine 강화 계육 생산

  • An experiment was conducted to investigate the effects of dietary supplementation of feather meal (FM its) digests on the performance of broiler chicks and taurine content in broiler meat. A total of 1,000 broiler chickens were assigned to five dietary treatments : Control, FM diet(FM), FM+pyridoxine(FM+Pyridox), H$_2$O$_2$ treated FM diet(H$_2$O$_2$-FM) and enzyme treated FM diet (Enzyme-FM). Treated diets were supplemented with FM or FM digests at the level of 5 % to the control diet. During the stater period, weight gain of chicks fed FM+Pyridox was significantly higher(P<0.05) than those of the other FM or FM digest treatments but was not different from the control. Weight gam of overall period were not significantly different among treatments. Feed intake of the control was greater than that of FM or FM digest treatments. Feed conversion ratio(feed intake/gain) of chicks fed FM and H$_2$O$_2$-FM were significantly higher than those of Enzyme-FM and FM+Pyridox, but were not significantly different from the control. Taurine contents of leg and breast mucle were significantly (P<0.01) different among treatments but those of liver were not significantly different. Taurine content of FM+Pyridox was highest in both leg and breast muscle. It was 85 % higher in leg muscle and 15 % higher in breast muscle than that of the control. Sensory evaluation data showed significant but not consistant responses in various parameters. FM + Pyridox treatment showed highest score in aroma of raw leg muscle of male and in juiciness and tenderness of broiled breast muscle of male chickens. Control group showed highest color score in raw leg muscle of female and lowest overall acceptability score in broiled breast and leg muscle of male chicken. It is concluded that taurine can be enriched especially in broiler leg meat by 5 % FM diet supplemented with pyridoxine.

아르누보와 아르데코 양식이 현대패션에 미친 영향에 대한연구 (The Study on How Art Nouveau and Art Deco's Influenced on Modern Fashion)

  • The influences of Art nouveau and Art Deco are as follow: The first, in the side of silhouette, hourglass style and bell shaped skirt influence on mordern fashion chiefly and S-curve style was mollified. Empire style, hobble style in art deco age are all showed diversely, in these styles especially boyish style give an outstanding trasts to modern fashion. The second, the color of art deco, characterized by pastel in art nouveau's color tone, original color and black and gold was reflected on the textile design and showed diversely in the color fo modern fashion. The third, in the field of textile and pattern, flower and plant which was a motive of art nouveau style, organic curve and geometrical pattern and exotic motive was seperately used with motive in the pattern and design of mordern. Textile of goldish and silver tone, metal stuff, lace embroidery, fur, artifical flower, feather etc. showed up on the many parts of clothing. Like this Art Nouveau and Art style not only had a great effect on the costume but also decorations and formative arts.
