패션소비자의 판매촉진 흥미도에 따른 e-충성도예측요인 (Predicting Variables of E-loyalty for Fashion Products according to E-promotion Interests)

  • The purposes of this study were to examine whether the e-promotion interest was an influencing variable on promotion-acceptance attitudes, browsing, consumer satisfaction and e-loyalty, and to investigate the predictors for e-loyalty of shopping mall according to e-promotion interests. A questionnaire was developed based on the previous researches. Data were obtained from 555 adults who had purchased fashion products in online shopping. Data were analyzed using by factor analysis, Cronbach's alpha, t-test and regression. The results showed that consumers with high e-promotion interests were more likely to accept e-promotions affectively and behaviorally, to have hedonic and utilitarian browsing, to satisfy the online shopping, and to make e-loyalty compared to them with low e-promotion interests. For high interested group in e-promotion, the more cognitive and affective attitudes toward promotion acceptance they were the greater e-loyalty in the context of online shopping for fashion products. Additionally, the more hedonic browsing and satisfy the online shopping they were the greater e-loyalty of shopping mall at Internet. However, for low interested group in e-promotion interests, the more utilitarian browsing and satisfy the online shopping they were the greater e-loyalty of online shopping for fashion products. It implies that consumer' e-promotion interest was an influencing variable on promotion-acceptance attitudes, browsing, consumer satisfaction and e-loyalty in online shopping for fashion products. Consumer satisfaction played an important role for making e-loyalty of fashion shopping malls. These findings are discussed in terms of insights for developing the strategies of encouraging to make the loyalty of shopping mall in the context of purchasing fashion products at Internet.

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationships between social attitude, attitude toward conformity-individuality, fashion interest, and fashion preference among high school boys and girls and college men and women. The results were : 1. Social attitude was significantly related to attitude toward conformity-individuality and fashion interest. 2. Students who had higher fashion interests prefered fashionable clothing styles. 3. Women had higher fashion interests than men. 4. College students had higher fashion interests and prefered fashionable clothing styles than high school students. 5. Significant interaction between age and sex was found in attitude toward fashionable clothing styles.

신세대 남성 패션 매니아에 관한 연구 (A Study of Male Fashion Mania in New Generation)

  • The purposes of this study are to classify the male consumers in new generation by evaluating the fashion mania elements and to examine the differences among consumer groups in product attributes, benefits, dressing for self and others, and sensation seeking tendency. Fashion mania elements are compose of purchase frequency, the storage of clothes, the affection toward clothes and fashion knowledge. Data were obtained from 492 adult male living in Seoul and Kyunggi Do. Statistics used for data analysis were frequency, means, one-way Anova, Duncan's multiple range test, factor analysis, cluster analysis using Spss 9.0. The results can be summarized as follows: There consumer groups are identified based on the fashion mania elements: fashion mania, fashion interests, non-fashion mania. The fashion mania group has positive fashion behavior and high fashion attitude, the fashion interests group has high fashion attitude and light fashion behavior, non fashion mania group has light fashion attitude and behavior. Fashion mania group regard intrinsic attributes very highly in order to express individuality, shows the tendency to dress for self strongly rather than to dress for others. And fashion mania group shows a high sensation seeking tendency compared with the remaining groups.

  • The purpose of this study was 1) to find out the dimensions of consumers motive of variety seeking and variety seeking behavior toward clothing products, 2) to examine the relationship between above variables, and 3) to classify consumer group according to their motive and behavior of variety seeking, and to compare the groups characteristics in terms of the fashion interests and clothing purchase behavior. The data were obtained from 913 female university students, career women, and housewives using questionnaire. Consumers appeared to have the motive of variety seeking in clothing products, and the motive was composed of four factors. Consumers would show variety seeking behavior in clothing products. And the behavior was composed of three factors. Positive relationship existed between the motive and the behavior of variety seeking, while, the 4 factors of variety motive influenced differently on the different factors of variety seeking behavior. Subjects were classified into four groups according to their motive of variety seeking and variety seeking behavior. A significant differences were found among the 4 groups in fashion interests as well as quantity of purchase, frequency of purchase to clothing products.

  • Purpose. This study pourpose to fashion lifestyle and color interests in accordance with group university students' lifestyle focused on students in health and nursing fields. Methods. This study administered a structured questionnaire to 321 random subjects who currently major in health and nursing fields and who reside in Daegu city. For the collected data, using the SPSS 18.0, the following analyses were implemented: frequency analysis, factor analysis, K-means clustering analysis, t-test, and ${\chi}^2$-test. Result. In terms of lifestyle, seniors had shown more active groups than passive groups in comparison to their juniors. The active group in terms of lifestyle has shown higher interest in the importance of apparel and fashion leadership in comparison to the passive group. The active group in terms of lifestyle has also shown higher interest in color in comparison to the passive group. Conclusion. A fashion leader leading by examining the fashion life style and color interest in accordance with the lifestyle to target college students to investigate a variety of consumption patterns made according to personal preference consists of a smooth communication between businesses and consumers needed for product development.

의복의 신분상징성과 사회심리학적 변인과의 상관연구 -서울의 가정주부를 중심으로- (A Study of the Relationship between the Status Symbol of Clothing and Social-Psychological Variables)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between clothing interests in the status symbol and the exhibition need and status inconsistency. The exhibition need was measured by Murray's statements on need and some items selected from The Need Diagnosis Scale of Jaung-Kyu Whang. Status inconsistency was measured by the same criteria of Lenski. Three aspects of clothing interests-the status symbol, the fashion and the exhibitionism-were assessed. The questionnaires were distributed to the housewives in Seoul. Data from 511 respondents were analyzed by correlations and $x^2$-tests. The results were: 1) The exhibition need was positively related to interests in the status symbol and exhibitionism of clothing. 2) Status inconsistency was positively related to clothing interests in the status symbol and fashion. 3) The degree of clothing interests in the status symbol and fashion were also positively related to the clothing expenditure and the socioeconomic status of the sample.

Korean Gay Men's Daily Life and Fashion

  • The primary purpose of this study is to explore the daily lives of gay men and assess their interests in fashion and appearance management with the goal of better understanding the roles or meanings of fashion in their lives. In-depth interview method was adopted and the responses were analyzed qualitatively. Six homosexual men were interviewed, and the outcome of each conversation was recorded and analyzed; each man had a different background and thus showed different behavioral patterns. The life patterns distinct to Korean gays, the importance the highly patriarchal society places on family lineage and mandatory military service, for example, were discussed. Even though the interviewees asserted that their interests in fashion is not related to their sexual orientation, fashion was utilized as a means of self-expression by these gay men.

  • This study was intended to probe the scheme for correctly making Korean fashion design known to the world. It is because its suggestion could find out in the current influence of Japanese designer works led to fashion in Europe and the U.S. It can be said that this success was attributed to Japanese high economic growth, increased interests in fashion, increased awareness of the fashion industry, production of designers activity in the world area, systematic and active support of the fashion circles and government for the fashion industry and so on. Korean government has recently begun to attempt to nurture Koreanism or Korean look as world-class fashion. But there are a considerable number of obstacles in making Koreanism or Korean look known to the world due to such several factors as the lack of interests in fashion, the lack of globally active designers, and the like. It is necessary to nurture the fashion industry and educate and train designers for the long-term perspective. In addition, both the government and the fashion circles need to provide for more active and reasonable policy for holding the Korean Fashion Fair, expanding the Seoul Collection to the more global level, opening the way for new designers, and so forth. Furthermore, our academic circles need to make much research on the scheme for the glottalization of Koreanism or Korean look.

뉴 실버세대의 자기효능감과 외모관심이 외모관리행동과 의복구매 행동에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Self-efficacy and Appearance Interest on Appearance Management and Clothing Purchase Behavior of New Silver Generation)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of self-efficacy and appearance interest on appearance management and clothing purchase behavior of new silver generation. The research method was a survey method using a questionnaire. The subjects were 300 new silver woman(aged from 50 to 64) living in the large city. Statistical analysis methods were factor analysis, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study were as follows. The self-efficacy factor divided into three categories including self-control efficacy, social self-efficacy and physical self-efficacy. And appearance interests were divided into four categories including weight control interest, outfit management interest, interest in clothing and disinterest in appearance. Self-efficacy had significant effect on various appearance interests. Especially physical self-efficacy was the important factor which could describe the appearance interests more effectively. Self-efficacy and appearance interests had significant effect on appearance management and clothing purchase behavior. Social self-efficacy could describe more appearance management behavior, while on the other side self-control efficacy could describe the clothing purchase behavior more effectively.

패션관여도에 따른 TV미디어 스타 동조성과 정보원 연구 (A Study on the TV media star conformity and Information source by the Types of fashion involvement)

  • The purposes of this study were to categorize the fashion involvement of male and female college students in their twenties and to investigate the relationship of the types of fashion involvement to the conformity to TV media stars and information source. The data were analyzed by factor analysis, one-way ANOVA, Duncan test, cluster analysis, cross-tabulation analysis. The results of this study are as follows; 1. Fashion involvement was categorized into four factors; pleasure, fashionableness, symbolism, and availability. The conformity to TV media stars was categorized into fashion conformity, star imitation, interests in TV programs, and interests in stars. Information source was divided into mass media, product information, and personal information. 2. There were significant differences in the conformity to media stars and information source by the different types of fashion involvement. 3. The results for the correlation between the conformity to TV media stars and information source showed that there were significant correlations with all of the factors.
