Agricultural corporations have been introduced to increase the productivity of farming via entrepreneurial farm management. There are two main subgroups of agricultural corporations. One is composed of farming association corporations and the other consists of agricultural corporation companies. Major tax incentives for agricultural corporations are as follows: 1. Exemption of corporate income tax. 2. Exemption of capital gains tax for farmland investment. 3. Reduction and exemption of dividend income tax for investors.

This study assessed the color, polyphenol content, and sensory characteristics of dressing containing varying concentrations (0, 3, 6 and 9%) of freeze-dried Natto. We determined that the absence of freeze-dried Natto (0%) imparted the highest additive value for both L and a, b. The polyphenol contents obtained were 0.63, 0.69, 0.74, and 0.82 mg/g for 0, 3, 6 and 9% of dressing containing freeze-dried Natto, respectively. The appearance, color, taste, texture, and overall preference of dressings with freeze-dried Natto showed significant differences between the samples. The overall preference was highest at 5.92 points, with dressing containing 9% Natto. The quality characteristics of the 9% added samples exhibited significantly higher values as compared to those of the controls, raising the possibility of development as a health-functional dressing.

This study evaluated the color, DPPH radical activity, and sensory characteristics of nutritional bars supplemented with varying concentrations (0, 2.5, 5, and 7.5%) of freeze-dried Natto. An inconsistent pattern was observed for the L value, whereas both a and b values increased significantly up to 5% addition of freeze-dried Natto. The DPPH free radical scavenging activity of nutritional bars supplemented with 0, 2.5, 5, and 7.5% freeze-dried Natto were determined to be 59.54, 59.70, 44.85, and 55.07%, respectively. The appearance, color, taste, texture, and overall preference of nutritional bars supplemented with freeze-dried Natto showed significant differences between the samples. The overall preference of the nutrient bar was highest at 6.08 points, determined for the 2.5% Natto supplemented bar. The quality characteristics of the 2.5% added samples exhibited significantly higher values as compared to the controls, thereby indicating the potential of development in health-functional cereal bars.

Regional Agricultural Cluster(RAC) at Asan area has been formed with Purundeul farming union corporation(Purundeul) as the center from the year 2005. Originally, RAC has been proceeded by Ministry for Food, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries (MFAFF) all over the nation from 2005. This RAC has helped Asan area to establish the foundation of environmentally friendly agriculture(EFA) searching for nutritional cycle. This also made jumping age turn developing age in EFA at Asan area. The number of Purundeul producer members was 386 farmers in 2008. Purundeul introduced organic livestock farming(Korean beef cattle; Hanwoo) for proceeding EFA searching for nutritional cycle in 2007, and had 719 cattle at the end of March 2009. Feedstuff materials for organic livestock is mostly produced from seeding farming by-products within Asan or the country. Asan RAC had built factories for feedstuff producing and beef processing with producers' investment.

Pureundeul fanning corporation(PFC) is an cgmplary body of all producer organizations for environmentally friendly agriculture(EFA) in Korea. It is located at Asan in Chungnam and has 301 farmers. They attained more than 10 billion wons as a sale in 2004. And The direct marketing channel of the EFA products is the second logistics center(Asan) ${\to}$ the first logistics center(Gwangju Gyunggi) ${\to}$ local hansalim shops ${\to}$ consumers. It is needed to construct the system of the direct marketing as follows : First, it needs to construct the direct marketing system within the region for EFA products of Asan. Second, the direct shop and suppling area should be enlarged as a way to promote sales with the demand increase of EFA products. Third, an aggressive promotion campaign is be needed for increasing motivation of consumption and understanding of EFA products.

This study analyzed management situations of two organizations that have produced environment-friendly agricultural and processed meat products. 'A' farming corporation sells environment-friendly agricultural products like as grains, vegetables, fruits and processing foods. 'B' agricultural corporation processes and sells environment-friendly processed meat products, specially organic and antibiotic-free beef products. Recently, members and production areas of 'A' farming corporation have decreased because of their aging and labor shortage. And Indices for the management analysis are stability ratio, activity ratio and profitability ratio. Stability ratio indices are debt ratio, net worth ratio, fixed ratio and current ratio. Activity ratio ones include fixed assets turnover and net worth turnover. And profitability ratio is showed through return on investment, net return on sales and return on equity.

This study examined the laxative effects of hot-water extracts of Hovenia dulcis Thunb. (HD), Phyllostachys pubescens Mazel (PM), and a 2:8 mixture of both (HP) in two chronic constipation models. For the loperamide-induced constipation model, animals were divided into an untreated group, negative control group (loperamide 4 mg/kg), positive control group (bisacodyl 4 mg/kg) group, and six treatment groups (HP 100 or 400, HD 50 or 100, and PM 100 or 400 mg/kg). For the low-fiber diet-induced constipation model, animals were divided into an untreated group (normal diet), negative control group (low-fiber diet), positive control group (Agio granule, 620 mg/kg), and the same treatment groups. Fecal number, weight, fecal water content, and intestinal transit ratio were higher in the groups treated with HP, HD, and PM than in the groups treated with loperamide or low-fiber diet. Thickness of colon mucosa and muscle layers were increased in the treated groups. Colon tension increased in the HP groups, and [Ca²⁺]i measurements using fura-2 as an indicator showed that HP inhibits ATP-mediated Ca²⁺ influx in IEC-18 cells. These results showed that the HP mixture has laxative activity by increased mucin secretion and inducing contractile activity and relaxation. It may be a useful therapeutic strategy for ameliorating in chronic constipation.

Due to the rise of Information & Communication Technology (ICT) adoption in many fields, it is necessary to diagnose the informatization situations of corporations in agriculture and give suggestions for improvement. For this goal, surveys were designed and conducted to understand the current informatization situations of agriculture corporations in Korea. The survey covers the plan for utilizing information technology, the establishment of infrastructure for information technology, IT application status, and its effect on their performance. The specific focus of our research is to segment the corporations by their type of industries and their level of sales and give differentiated managerial implications for each segment.
