시각 재현을 욕망했던 인류 염원은 선형적 역사의 발전 속에서 진보한다. 이때 지향점은 '눈'이었다. 목표지점이 설정된 후, 시각 이미지는 재현을 넘어 주체의 반영을 시도하고, 나아가 주체의 심급 속에 잠재되어 있던 욕망을 시각화하고자 했다. 물론 회화, 사진, 영화에서도 욕망의 무대로서 환상은 경험할 수 있었으나, 디지털은 환상 세계의 창조에 새로운 국면을 제시하고 있다. 본 연구는 주체성과 무의식이 반영되어 환상이미지가 창조되는 디지털영상에서의 환상성에 대해 밝혀보고자 하였다. 연구결과, 디지털 이미지는 이드 속에 저장되었던 이미지와 상상적 욕망이 시각화되는 통로로서 핍진적 이미지를 기반으로 완벽한 환상의 무대로 창조함을 알 수 있었고, 자아와 초자아에 의해 억제되었던 이드를 부상시키면서 욕망실현에 대한 경험을 주체에게 부여하고 있었다.

영화는 항상 실재(reality)와 허구(imagination)를 바탕으로 시대의 문화를 반영해 왔으며 영화에서의 시각 효과는 주로 현실을 더욱더 현실감 있게 표현하거나 가상을 현실로 인식시켜주는 역할을 해 왔다. 본 연구는 환상적 사실주의가 갖는 이미지를 이창동 감동의 오아시스를 통해 내표된 의미와 그 작용에 대해 알아보았다. 환상적 사실주의는 이미지로서 영화내의 시간과 공간에 영향을 미치며 인간의 보고자 하는 욕망과 보이고자 하는 욕망을 거울이라는 이중적 의미의 도구를 사용하여, 현실과 상상의 공간을 분리하였다. 또 비둘기라는 매개를 통해 현실 세계에 재현되었다. 영화 내러티브 구조에서 가시화된 공간과 비가시회된 공간을 분리시키고, 현실과 비현실적 공간의 분리, 의식과 무의식의 공간의 분리, 현실과 현실공간을 권력 구조로 분리하여 사용되었다. 기술의 발전과 함께 황상의 이미지는 우리에게 더 실재처럼 다가오고, 이는 우리가 생각하지 못한 무의식의 공간을 표현해 낼 것이다.

The Miaos have their own unique and luxurious culture traditional and modern formed as they have experienced repeated fusion into and resistance against the Han Race or the Chinese in their long and old history. Taijiang County of Guizhou Provice, in which whey have been living, is endowed with natural beauty. Thus their culture enjoys abundant and diverse contents of artificial and natural character. Naturally, their costume reflects cultural and natural features in abundance and variety. This dissertation aims to investigate the artistic character of Miaos' traditional costume as reflected in patterns for their embroidery. As for the artistic character of the patterns for embroidery, the following were found. To begin with, the space in the Miaos' embroidery is, unlike the measurable three-dimensional space found in Greek art, unmeasurable and fantastic with its beauty, majesty and peculiarity. It is as if immersed in limitless space, they were in communion with gods and universe. Another characteristic is the use of image construction beyond mere imitation. Their mode of image construction was realistic in that patterns as a whole reveal an abstract form or meaning but separately they portray visual representations of concrete thins in nature. Still another is that sense of motion conveyed by the basic curve line is full of life. It was the result of using light rhythm breaking stereotypic balance and symmetry. Finally, the colouring was abstract, and a strong contrast between black and white was gorgeous and fantastic.

변형, 또는 변신을 의미하는 메타모포시스는 근본적으로 A라는 이미지 또는 형태에서 B라는 이미지로 변형되는 과정이라 정의할 수 있다. 수많은 민족들의 신화에서 출발한 메타모포시스는 문학, 음악과 미술 등 다양한 예술분야에서 등장하게 된다. 정지된 이미지에 시간이라는 요소를 부가할 수 있게 한 시네마토그래피의 발명은 영화와 애니메이션이라는 새로운 예술장르를 낳았고 이를 통해 변형의 과정을 관찰할 수가 있게 되었다. 특히 애니메이션은 영화와는 달리 이미지를 이루는 요소들을 개별적으로 자유롭게 변형시킬 수 있기 때문에 많은 작가에 의해 개성적이고 환상적인 변형의 형태들을 만들어 낼 수 있었다. 그리고 메타모포시스는 기능적면에서 대부분이 장면 전환으로 사용되지만 또한 그 자체로서 내러티브 구조의 의미와 상징을 가지고 있는 은유적인 역할을 담당하고 있다. 본 논문에서는, 마술적이고 환상적인 유희적 효과에 가려진 메타모포시스의 함축적 영화언어로서의 기능에 대해 서술하고자 한다.

The nature of animation is to create a moving image. Also, it creates a narrative space and visual image which is different form a reality. Therefore, image expression is very important in the animation. Although the domestic animation has a movement, it has not an image which has meaning. For instance, Korean fiction animation ${\ulcorner}$My beautiful girl, Mary${\lrcorner}$ has grand prize in Anncy International Animated Film Festival, 2002. Such achievement give new vision and present a clue of development to our national animation. However, not many people went to the cinema to watch it. The reason is that although 'Mary' has the Fantastic image, she doesn't show a true life image. The film is revival of reality through the image. However, animation is revival of reality through the 'transformation' of the existing image. Therefore, reviving exactly the same as a reality is not the most important fact in the animation image. Preferably, the most important fact in the animation image is that reviving reality into highly wrought image. This paper will study an expression form of animation trough the image. This paper will study an expression form of animation trough the image. Especially, it will concentrate on poetic image. For this, It will associate 'poetic' in literature with 'poetic image' in animation. For this, It will associate 'poetic' in literature with 'poetic image' in animation. Also, a variety poetic animation image will be divided into 1)mongtage 2)rhythm 3) compression 4)metaphor & symbol, and will be looked 'poetic image' effect.

The purpose of this study is to help understanding of fashion trend since 2000 years, to play a guideline's role in the development on fashion designs study. The methods of this study are the study of academic literatures as well as practical study through expert investigation and analysis of case studies about actual works. Fashion trends since 2000 years are summarized classic, sporty, elegance, ethnic, natural, romantic, vintage, futurism by expert investigation and analysis of case studies about actual works. Image of fashion trends are abstracted that Classic image is harmony, moderation, accuracy, completeness, neatness, manish from keep an archetype to eliminate additional things, Sporty image is daily, active, enjoyment by the pursuit of a movement and freedom, Elegance image is feminine, grace from the tender moderated and feminity, Ethnic image is folkway, handicraft, vernacular to keep national character, local folkways and traditional ways. Natural image is nature, peaceful, purity, pastoral to the exclusion of artificiality and revert to natural, Romantic image is sensibility, fantastic, ornament, splendid from facing ideal world getting out of the reality, Vintage image is cozy, old, disorder, faden, freedom by expressing the flow of time and the mature beauty, Futurism image is future, experimental, avant-garde, man-made from positive perspective on future.

This study examines black images as 'the other' in history and aims to analyze images of black female fashion models which have been changed in modern society, particularly in $21^{st}$ century post-modern world. Black images, established historically as illustrated on the paintings in $19^{th}$ century, were disseminated in $20^{th}$ century throughout the world especially by way of TV and movies as several typical images such as 'Coon' the clown as the object of entertainment, 'Buck' wild and resistant black rascal, and 'Mammy' obedient and fat black woman servant. The result of image analysis of black female fashion models, can be summarized as following five images. The first is the image of 'powerful'. Black female models frequently represent healthy image which reflects black people's excellence in sports and also the traditional Image of black skin color as strength. The second is the image of 'sexy'. They are adored as having perfect ideal body shape. They show off their sex appeal with their body. The third image is 'multicultural'. Black models represent cultures besides the western. The fourth is the image of 'fantastic'. In contrast to the real, resonable things, black female models represent wild, fancy, ghost things. The fifth is the image of 'racial discrimination' By arranging them in contrast to whites, a metaphoric image of racial discrimination can be displayed. The result shows that tome of racial images still remain on the other way.

The purpose of this study is to examine the expressional characteristics and effects of Diabolism image that appeared in fashion illustration. The concept of evil from ancient times is arranged with more basic pain, unhappiness, breakdown, fear, ignorance, sadness, imperfection, death, disease, and ugliness than it can be understandable in modern society. However, as the concept of evil is included in sacred ground of art and is begun to understand by the ugliness of broad sense, the evil and ugliness were recognized as subordinate concepts which fertilizing beauty. Also, image characteristics of Diabolism in pop culture are taking charge roles that remove visual discordance to decadent and mysterious beauty and trying to find new beauty by presentation of bad-tasted style. The aesthetic and expressional characteristics of Diabolism in modem visual media have something in common which is classified into five shapes: Negative image, Symbolic line and color, Transformation, Devilish shape, and Fantastic image. The Diabolism expressions in fashion illustration since 1980 show the possibility of image expression as a new technical field because they differ from existing expression methods and viewpoints of beauty. Therefore, the practical use of devilish image to express excessive aesthetic sense can expand the extent of image expression.

The historicism and romanticism of John Galliano's designs are rivaled only by the spectacular and theatrical nature of his fashion shows; romantic silhouette, the complexity of the cut and, of course, the painstaking attention to historical detail. Galliano's approach is very much that of a British designer in that he absorbs wildly diverging historical and cultural elements to invent new hybridizations of the contemporary. Galliano started his career as part of the wildly uninhibited avant-garde London design scene. His designs were twisted and artfully torn, weired and also beautiful. The purpose of this study is to investigate the Comic Expression depicted on John Galliano's works by borrowing the Comic. The Comic or the Comedy is a kind of art form that signifies exciting effects, and so, is a means of raising a laugh. The similar concepts of the Comic already were depicted by means of transformation and distortion of form, satire, fantastic pastiche and reversion of substances on Cubism, Dada, Surrealism, Pop Art and Postmodernism. Therefore, John Galliano selected the quixotic expressional methods to seek for having playful fun. The aesthetics of the Comic is the beauty based on quantitative or qualitative contradiction between expectations and realizations. That is, the Comic is characterized by getting rid of stress through laugh with clarifying a subject of contradiction. This study found that John Galliano's designs are expressed the quixotic comic on Historical image, Exotic image and Primitive image to make a complaint against the social evils.

이 연구는 인간의 주관성을 탐구할 수 있는 Q 방법론을 이용하여 경찰행정학과 학생들의 경찰 이미지에 대한 주관적 태도유형을 살펴본 것이다. 40개의 Q 표본을 선정하여 40명의 대학생들에게 분류토록 한 결과 모두 3개의 경찰 이미지 유형이 도출되었다. 제1유형은 판타스틱형 이미지, 제2유형은 스트레스형 이미지, 제3유형은 카리스마형 이미지라고 명명되었다. 그러나 전반적으로 경찰행정학과 학생들은 경찰 이미지를 긍정적으로 평가하고 있는 것으로 나타났으며, 졸업 후 경찰이 되고자 하는 의지도 매우 강한 것으로 나타났다. 이상의 연구결과를 바탕으로 한 경찰행정학과 학생들의 경찰에 대한 주관적 이미지는 향후 경찰 행정학과 학생들의 진로선택에 영향을 미칠 것으로 판단되며, 경찰에서는 이를 통해 경찰 이미지 개선을 위한 근거 자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.
