  • This study examined the specific contents of social welfare policies of the Joseon Dynasty through the analysis of Mokminsimseo, Aemin Sixjo and Jinhwang Yukjo, and identified the connection between them and today's social welfare policies. As a result, In the Care of the People, it contained the basic contents of the Elderly Welfare Act and welfare services for the elderly, and in the Freedom, it included welfare policy services related to infants and children, and the value system of welfare for the disabled through government affairs. The policy direction was confirmed, and it was found that disaster relief calls for social integration in response to social crises and disasters. This also confirmed that major areas of social welfare policy such as family safety, income security, health policy, and social integration have been emphasized through social welfare policy indicators. In addition, through the analysis of Qinhwangyukjo, it was found that it contains not only the basic ideology and values of the social security system and social insurance system in terms of visa, scale, and power, but also the details of specific policy implementation. Today's social welfare policies and social service policies, which are equipped with social welfare facilities and are implementing systematic social welfare services for each target, were able to confirm their foundation through the Qinhwangyukjo. This confirms that the emphasis on social integration and income security is prominent in the Qinhwangyukjo through the social welfare policy indicators of the current policy system.

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the impact of pornography use among adolescents on their subsequent violent sexual behavior, and to ascertain the moderating effect of family support. The study was conducted with a sample of 2,087 Korean middle and high-school students. To analyze the data, a descriptive analysis, a correlation analysis, and a Poisson regression were conducted using SPSS 24.0. A Poisson regression was performed because the dependent variable, violent sexual behavior, was measured by the frequency of occurrence, and most responses were distributed at '0', indicating a non-normal distribution. The results indicated that 8.1% of adolescents admitted to having sexually violent experiences over the past year, with a relatively high rate of sexual harassment. Secondly, 53.3% of adolescents had used pornography over the past couple of years, with the highest percentage of use occurring via the Internet. Finally, pornography use among adolescents had a significant and direct impact on their sexually violent behavior, with family support playing a moderating role. This indicated that, for adolescents with a high level of family support, the impact of pornography usage on sexually violent behavior decreased. Based on these results, we discuss practical and policy interventions to prevent sexually violent behavior by adolescents.

The sample consisted of 665 mothers with at least one child aged one year or less from the 2009 Panel Study on Korean Children. Based on these results, implications for family policy for families with young children are suggested.

There is made of 'layering' in work-family reconciliation policy area. Because political barrier has alleviated they can introduce parents benefit, but cannot help stick to child care benefit because of internal barrier. But because parents benefit has activated by 'differential growth', German gender regime has suffered core transition of complementation that dominant structure has changed from 'sequential reconciliation' to 'concomitant reconciliation'. On the other hand, by 'purposeful decoupling' of gender area, core activists have attempted to cut the possibility of weakening of coordination relationship on main institutional areas of German model.
