중소기업의 정보보호 관리체계 개선방안 연구 (Improvement Research for Information Protection Management System of Small and Medium Enterprises)

  • 최근 모든 산업에 있어서 디지털 전환이 가속되고 있고 그로 인해 생산되고 이용되는 정보 및 개인정보의 활용이 기업의 성패에 있어서 매우 중요하다. 그러나 이에 대한 역기능으로서 기업의 주요 정보 및 개인정보를 탈취하거나 유출하려는 시도는 계속 증가하고 있고, 이에 대한 적절한 방어 및 대응이 절대적으로 필요하다. 그러나, 중소기업의 경우 대기업에 비해 정보보호에 대한 우선순위나 전문인력 보유 면에서 매우 미흡한 상황이다. 본 논문에서는 국내에서 시행되고 있는 인증 및 진단에 대해 살펴보고, 개인정보보호법 고시 기준 확대 적용 및 지원 제도의 상시 운영을 통해서, 중소기업에 적합한 정보보호 인증 확대 적용 및 지원 제도의 실효성 제고 방안을 제시한다.

Probabilistic Safety Assessment for High Level Nuclear Waste Repository System

  • An integrated model is developed in this paper for the performance assessment of high level radioactive waste repository. This integrated model consists of two simple mathematical models. One is a multiple-barrier failure model of the repository system based on constant failure rates which provides source terms to biosphere. The other is a biosphere model which has multiple pathways for radionuclides to reach to human. For the parametric uncertainty and sensitivity analysis for the risk assessment of high level radioactive waste repository, Latin hypercube sampling and rank correlation techniques are applied to this model. The former is cost-effective for large computer programs because it gives smaller error in estimating output distribution even with smaller number of runs compared to crude Monte Carlo technique. The latter is good for generating dependence structure among samples of input parameters. It is also used to find out the most sensitive, or important, parameter groups among given input parameters. The methodology of the mathematical modelling with statistical analysis will provide useful insights to the decision-making of radioactive waste repository selection and future researches related to uncertain and sensitive input parameters.

  • 신재생에너지를 활용한 발전원의 경우, 날씨 등의 영향을 많이 받아 전력 생산량이 원활하지 않을 수 있다. 태양광 및 풍력 발전의 효율성을 높이기 위해 에너지 저장 장치(ESS·Energy Storage System)를 활용한다. ESS는 배터리 보호 시스템과 운영관리, 제어체제가 미흡하거나, 설치상의 부주의 등의 원인으로 인해 화재가 속출하고 있으며, 매우 큰 인명 피해와 경제적 손실로 이어지고 있어 ESS의 안정성 및 배터리 보호 시스템 운영관리 기술이 필수적으로 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 ESS 최적화 및 안정적인 운영을 위한 배터리 잔량 산출 알고리즘과 고장 예측 알고리즘을 제시한다. 제시한 알고리즘은 배터리의 충전 및 방전 수행 시 실시간으로 전류량을 누적하여 정확한 배터리 잔량을 산출하며, 배터리 셀 간의 전압불균형 현상을 이용하여 배터리의 고장 유무를 산출한다. 제시된 알고리즘들은 ESS를 최적의 상태로 운영하는데 필요한 정확한 배터리 잔량과 고장 예측이 가능하다. 따라서 ESS의 배터리의 정확한 상태 정보를 측정하고 신뢰성 있게 모니터링 하여 대형 사고를 미연에 방지할 수 있다.

Influences of Cathodic Protection and Coating Properties on the Corrosion Control of Metallic Structure in Extremely Acidic Fluids

  • A lot of parts in FGD (Flue Gas Desulfurization) systems of fossil-fuel power plants show the environments in which are highly changeable and extremely acidic corrosive medium according to time and locations, e.g. in duct works, coolers and re-heaters etc. These conditions are formed when system materials are immersed in fluid that flows on them or when exhausted gas is condensed into thin layered acidic medium to contact materials of the system walls and roofs. These environments make troublesome corrosion and air pollution problems that are occurred from the leakage of the condensed solution. To cathodically protect the metallic structures in extremely acidic fluid, the properties of the protective coatings on the metal surface were very important, and epoxy Novolac coating was applied in this work. On the base of acid immersion tests, hot sulfuric acid decreased the hardness of the coatings and reduced greatly the content of $Na_2O$, $Al_2O_3$, and $SiO_2$ among the main components of the coating. A special kind of CP(Cathodic Protection) system has been developed and tested in a real scale of the FGD facility. Applied coating for this CP system was peeled off and cracked in some parts of the facility. However, the exposed metal surface to extremely acidic fluid by the failure of the coatings was successfully protected by the new CP system.

고장 왜란 기록기를 위한 주파수 추정 기법의 비교 연구 (Comparative Studies of Frequency Estimation Method for Fault Disturbance Recorder)

  • Voltage and current phasor estimation has been executed by GPS-based synchronized PMU, which has become an important way of wide-area blackout protection for the prevention of expending faults in a power system. The PMU technique can not easily get the field data and it is impossible to share information, so that there has been used a FNET(Frequency Monitoring Network) method for the wide-area intelligent protection in USA. It consists of FDR(Fault Disturbance Recorder) and IMS(Information Management System). Therefore, FDR must provide an optimal frequency estimation method that is robust to noise and failure. In this paper, we present comparative studies for the frequency estimation method using IRDWT(Improved Recursive Discrete Wavelet Transform), FRDWT(Fast Recursive Discrete Wavelet Transform), and DFT(Discrete Fourier Transform). The Republic of Korea345[kV] power system modeling data by EMTP-RV are used to evaluate the performance of the proposed two kinds of RDWT(Recursive Discrete Wavelet Transform) and DFT. The simulation results show that the proposed frequency estimation technique using FRDWT could be the optimal frequency measurement method, and thus be applied to FDR.

Seismic reliability assessment of base-isolated structures using artificial neural network: operation failure of sensitive equipment

  • The design of seismically isolated structures considering the stochastic nature of excitations, base isolators' design parameters, and superstructure properties requires robust reliability analysis methods to calculate the failure probability of the entire system. Here, by applying artificial neural networks, we proposed a robust technique to accelerate the estimation of failure probability of equipped isolated structures. A three-story isolated building with susceptible facilities is considered as the analytical model to evaluate our technique. First, we employed a sensitivity analysis method to identify the critical sources of uncertainty. Next, we calculated the probability of failure for a particular set of random variables, performing Monte Carlo simulations based on the dynamic nonlinear time-history analysis. Finally, using a set of designed neural networks as a surrogate model for the structural analysis, we assessed once again the probability of the failure. Comparing the obtained results demonstrates that the surrogate model can attain precise estimations of the probability of failure. Moreover, our proposed approach significantly increases the computational efficiency corresponding to the dynamic time-history analysis of the structure.

  • Reliability is the very important issue for nuclear fields. In this paper, an analysis method is suggested to evaluate the level of availability improvement by adding the fault diagnosis function in the control system of Reactor Protection System. The Failure Mode Effect Analysis(FMEA), MIL-HDBK-217F, and Makov modelling techniques are used for availability assessment.

  • Power Supply System for electric railways is diversified with technical development and is required high technologies. especially, recently there is required many research and development for earthing to ensure safety of people and protection of installations. Generally, leakage resistance is high between rail and ground at tunnel section of subway. because of short circuit of feeding line, earthing interference by transient overvoltage between signals and communication system, and insulation failure, it can damage to human and equipments To minimize these obstacles, earthing equipment is installed at underground section of railway, but it brings about problems in accordance with operate each earthing system to be not enough required protection provisions for electrified railways. This paper proposes effective earthing method to be concerned about installation cost and maintenance. The validity of the proposed earth method is verified by simulation results at underground section of railways.

  • The frequency is an important operating parameter of a power system. There is an increasing importance of constant monitoring of frequency to achieve stable power supply by WAMS(wide area monitoring system) and FNET(Frequency Monitoring Network). This paper is part of development of a network-based frequency monitoring and failure prediction system for wide-area intelligent protection relaying. In this paper, analysis of propagation speed of power frequency by generation drop using the PSS/E was carried out. For dynamic analysis, the 11 metropolitan areas offices of KEPCO divided into five groups of Seoul, Gangwon, Chungcheong, Honam, and Yeongnam group, study was performed.

전기체 구조시험을 위한 고성능 과하중 방지 모듈 개발

  • 항공기 전기체 구조시험에 사용되는 기존의 과하중 방지모듈의 성능을 개량하여 고성능의 과하중방지 모듈을 개발하였다. 항공기 전기체 구조시험 수행시에는 예기치 않은 오류(자연재해로 인한 정전사고, 시험체의 파손, 설계강도 미달로 인한 시험정지 등)로 인해 시험하중보다 큰 하중이 시험체에 가해질 수 있다. 이 때 발생한 과하중을 해소하여 시험체를 파손으로부터 보호하는 과하중 방지기능이 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 상용의 기존 과하중 방지모듈에 대해 구성요소별로 기능을 살펴보고, 기존 제품을 이용하여 구조시험을 수행하는 도중 나타난 문제점을 분석하였다. 또한, 기존 과하중 방지모듈이 갖고 있는 문제점을 개선한 고성능 과하중 방지모듈의 개발에 대해 기술하였다.
