Purpose: This report aimed to review the literature on the research topic "Imports and exports between Colombia and Asian countries in the framework of logistics processes in international trade" of the last ten years. Research design, data and methodology: Documents indexed in the Web of Science metasearch engine were used as a source of information. The 500 most relevant downloaded in bibTex format were worked on and their processing was carried out using the statistical software Excel and R, through the Bibliometrix package. Results: The results indicate that the country that makes the most contributions to the research area is the United States (274), the author that publishes the most is Bahmani-Oskooee M., with (11) research, 424 of the documents found are journal articles, and the institution that contributes the most in this area is the University of Wisconsin. Conclusions: It is concluded that scientific production within the framework of international trade between Asia and Colombia has had a notable increase, which can be explained by the opening of both continents as strategic allies and the new vision of logistics processes taking advantage of the strategic location of countries within the Pacific Ocean.

This paper outlines a plan to promote South Jeonnam region's logistics capability in connection with the regional logistics bases such as Gwangyang Port, Jangseong Integrated Freight Terminal, Mokpo Port and Muan International Airport. The capability of regional innovation bodies, and industrial innovation generally, needs to be improved by establishing a systematic regional innovation plan. Smaller import and export logistics bases, presently scattered in downtown Gwangju and its suburban area, need to be integrated as soon as possible, in advance of the completion of a traffic network connecting all of the triangle logistics bases. Moreover, plans to develop Muan International Airport to the status of a hub airport need to be established, and its function as an air freight terminal should be strengthened. Gwangyang Port and Mokpo Port should be developed as Korea's key harbors with international logistics bases the two ports, presently conducting simple cargo work, should be transformed into general logistics ports conducting logistics, assembling, trading, and international business by developing their surrounding areas.

It is necessary to develop a bridgehead port for trading with northern countries to promote trade through the East Sea because the East Sea Rim economic bloc around the Northeast Asia including South Korea, China, Russia, Japan, and North Korea has a high growth potential in the future. Therefore, this study aims to suggest a strategic direction to enhance the competitiveness of Donghae Port through reinforcement of container cargoes by conducting Importance-Performance Analysis (IPA) for stakeholders of Donghae Port. The analysis results suggest that it is necessary to improve the five evaluation factors: attractiveness of container and bulk volumes, appropriate ratio of export/import container quantities, frequency of vessel entry and diversity of sea routes, convenience of complex linked transportation, and competitiveness of cargo handling equipment. The implications of this study are as follows. First, it is necessary to continuously research the current status of container and bulk cargo volumes of the port and ways to increase the absolute cargo volume. Second, we need to consider realistic alternatives to improve the ratio of export/import container quantities. Third, in terms of network, we should establish a service improvement plan to increase the frequency of port calls and the diversity of sea routes. Furthermore, incentives should be provided to increase the trade volume of Donghae Port through strengthened complex linked transportation function. Finally, it is urgently necessary to provide investment support for container handling equipment as an essential requirement for the activation of the container cargoes in Donghae Port.

Domestic vehicle penetration rate is growing at 3% per year, but consumers are increasingly buying used cars due to steady price hikes Nevertheless, the used car export market is expected to decline due to import regulations of major countries and the low grade environment of Used car export complex. Therefore, this study using Fuzzy-AHP was aimed to find operational factors of Used car logistics complex and establish a practical management plan of Used car logistic complex in incheon port. Fuzzy-AHP is the method that can be calculated weight of multi-level criteria and change linguistic ambiguity of human to Fuzzy Number. So it's able to propose the realistic decision making alternatives. As a result of the literacture reviews, present study focused on the analysis of the present situation of the logistics of the used car and the activation of the complex, suggested the activation plan and activation of the logistics complex. In the analysis of operational factors, logistic complex cost factors were found to be the most important factors by recording the weighted value of 0.306 in the above factors. The detailed factors were as follows: rent, accessibility, and logistics site size. It is necessary to compute competitive rent for the highly-advanced used car logistics complex, and to realize the rental support policy and to consider designating the free trade zone. In addition, it is necessary to expand the access infrastructure and secure the scale of the company for overseas buyers, and it is necessary to improve the overall government laws and introduce IT system for the future.

Purpose - This paper has an objective to suggest reasonable criteria in choosing Incoterms 2020 rules for efficient and effective logistics management in that the Incoterms rules affect not only the rights and obligations of the parties to the sales contract but also the control and management of logistics system and transaction costs in the transaction. Design/methodology - An analysis of the various factors is needed to assess the positive or negative impact on global value chain in choosing Incoterms rules from a total logistics view. This study analyzes the impact of which the content of individual incoterms rules can have on the operation of international logistics systems under the global value chain from a strategic perspective to suggest reasonable criteria for selection of Incoterms rules depending on the transaction situation. Findings - Results of this study shows that consideration of various aspects which includes the characteristics of the products, logistics capabilities, infrastructure, transaction volume, operational cost, customs regulations, tax and accounting should be reflected in choosing the appropriate Incoterms rules. Therefore, in order to minimize the total cost and improve logistics performance, it may be helpful to develop a decision support model which allows users to select appropriate Incoterms rules based on various influencing factors. Originality/value - This Study is different from previous research which has mainly focused on the rights and obligations of the parties to the transaction regarding the transfer of risks and costs under the Incoterms. In addition, this study has significance in that it provides implications for export and import companies that can be able to use Incoterms as a strategic tool to efficiently manage the global value chain and improve supply chain performance.

After September 11 attacks, as recently the range about security of physical distribution is rapidly spreading temporally & spatially, and it considers that the demand of understanding about logistics company is more than that of the past, now is the time that to establish policy for a comprehensive and systematic support policy that targets the entire supply chain considering the competitive of logistics beyond the responsibility for security of the field of import and export simply. In this respect, this study has identified recognition of domestic logistics company about global logistics security system that has recently been implemented in the country, and this level of recognition has really examined what is the impact of its logistics competitiveness and an intention to invest in related areas in the future. Based on this, this study has also proposed the supporting promotion and education for the expansion of logistics security of government & related agencies and effective way promoting to establish policies regarding this.

While major alliance container carriers in the post-corona era are enjoying the largest boom in history with their fleet reduction strategy, shippers companies are in a state of deteriorating import and export price competitiveness due to increased logistics costs, and forwarders who act for shipping companies' logistics services are also experiencing the burden of rising freight rates It is in a state of overheated competition and worsening profits for attracting shippers. For this purpose, research data, literature studies, statistical data and data from overseas specialized networks were used as prior research. Online surveys and telephone interviews were conducted, and as a result, four areas of cold chain (including perishable cargo), project logistics, UN procurement logistics, and dangerous goods logistics, which were found to be particularly in high demand, were analyzed to suggest entry strategies.

A bonded warehouse is the warehouse located in bonded area. It functions not only as a general warehouse but also as a place for managing the work related to import and export bonded goods. As a general warehouse, it uses the rack system to store the goods and the folk lift truck to move the unitized goods. The operation of the storing system closely related to the efficiency of space uses in a warehouse and vehicle working. Thus, vehicle performance measured in distance units in the ware-house could be used as one of the key performance measure in warehouse system. This paper focuses on the operation efficiency of the bonded warehouse which uses rack system for the storing and the folk lift truck for moving goods. The method of load allocation for balancing the rack uses and vehicle operation for maximizing efficiency are the specific concerns in this paper. The simulation study is conducted to find a policy for efficient vehicle operation based on balanced rack utilization, and the favorable result for the system operation would lead the usable proposal in vehicle operation.

In this study, the scope of previous logistics security were focused only on port and ship. Because of it now extends to the overall (export and import) supply chain areas and in regards with supply security programs in the international level, it reviewed supply chain security programs categorized them into 'ships and port security system', 'container screening system', 'logistics chain authorization system' which are expanded to be adopted in the international level. The major features of those programs are summarized as in building risk management system, providing information ahead, selectivity test and benefits to AEO authorized companies in the customs administration level. The government and companies which are to ensure supply chain security and trade facilitation in order to cope actively with international customs administrative atmosphere need to do the followings : First, they need to build an intra-government integrated supply chain security and make efforts to conclude AEO MRA in order to increase trade competitiveness among major trading countries. Second, they need to build supply chain risk management system in order to enhance management performance through overseas market and company level strategy to obtain and maintain AEO authorization in the company level.

Gate operations are very important as they are the starting point for export containers and the end point for import containers as far as checking and control exercised by terminal operators are concerned. The objective of this paper is to propose the design of separated gate system in order to reduce the truck turnaround time and to distribute the truck traffic volume in port container terminal. Because of a lot of container load and unload within short term, many trucks have to pass the gate at a time. This study suggests the separated gate system as an efficient design for gate operation considering integration of two individual berth.
