The data were collected from 267 college women residing in Gwangju using a Questionnaire to general value, clothing value, consumption value and clothing information exploration behaviors. It were analyzed with factor analysis, cluster analysis, T-test, ANOVA and multiple regression analysis using statistical program SPSS 10.0. The results of this research were as follows: 1. Only one factor of general value had a significant influence on 'practical' of clothing value. All of general value and clothing value had a significant influence on the whole consumption value. 2. Clothing information search behaviors was divided into three factors: 'variety pursuit' 'active information collection' and 'uniqueness pursuit'. General value group had a significant difference in 'variety pursuit' and 'active information collection' behavior. Clothing value and consumption value group had a significant difference in all factors of clothing information search behaviors. According to consumer behavior theory, human propensity can be divided into two regulatory focus types: promotion and prevention. These two types have much influence on the consumer's decision in many diverse areas. In this research, we apply regulatory focus theory to personalized recommendation to minimize the cold start problem and to improve the performance of recommendation algorithms. To achieve this goal, we extract the consumer behavior variables and information exploration activity index from web shopping logs. We then use them for classifying regulatory focus of the consumer. This research has the contribution to show the possibility of systematization of consumer behavior theory as an interdisciplinary research tool of social science and information technology. Based on this attempt, we will extend the research to IT services adapting theories on other areas.
Purpose - This study aims to analyze consumer in the multidimensional aspect of a combination of corporate image and brand personality in order to identify the structural causal relationship between consumer choice and corporate image and brand personality. Design/methodology - This study combined theoretical literature studies with empirical field studies using questionnaire survey methods. To achieve this objective, a hypothetical causal model consisting of three potential variables and nine measurement variables was created based on prior research, and a structural equation model was used to identify the suitability of the model. Findings - The hypothetical model established by this study was judged to be generally appropriate. In particular, corporate image was shown to have significant static direct effects on consumer choice and brand personality. It was also shown that brand personality had a direct static effect on consumer choice, and that corporate image has an indirect significant impact on consumer choice by moderating brand personality. Originality/value - Previous papers have mainly focused on one-dimensional studies of various images, such as companies and brands. However, this paper used a model that analyzed consumer choice through multi-clue information rather than corporate images as the only clue to consumer choice.

The results were as follows: First, the information factors which were considered seriously when consumers purchased wedding Hanbok, were design, the level of sewing, price, store location, cognitive power, service level, and manufacturing time. Second, the consumers considered the price as the most important factor when they searched internet information. Third, the service factor was also considered importantly, and it was recognized important factor so much after purchasing as before purchasing wedding Hanbok. Fourth, the factors such as cognitive power, manufacturing time and store location were seriously considered as the information searching factors before purchasing. It showed higher rate when compared with information offering factors of after purchasing the wedding Hanbok. Fifth, the factor of sewing was considered as lower rate than other factors. It showed similar results before and after purchasing the wedding Hanbok.

The current study examined the Indian young consumer online shopping self-efficacy in an integrated model. Authors tested the study model (antecedents and consequences of online shopping involvement) with the help of 225 sample data by using first order structural equation modeling. Online shopping enjoyment was found most important predictor of online shopping involvement followed by online accessibility. Further, the impact of online shopping involvement on online shopping self-efficacy was quite high in comparison to online technical self-efficacy. We strongly recommend that the marketers must use internet strategically in establishing dialogue between seller and online shoppers.

This study explored the process by which consumers purchase products from small fashion business owners via online and mobile channels. In addition, group types were classified given that the purchasing process depends on the consumers' life cycle. The consumer focus group interview (FGI) was conducted on 18 participants that were divided into six groups by age, work, and children. Results revealed that first, consumer journey comprised four stages. Factors influencing need recognition were "attention to information of social media influencer," "attention to information of affiliated groups," and "repeated advertising of SME products/brands." For information searching, "exploring purchase reviews," "environment for mobile shopping information exploration," and "continuous product tracking" were important factors. Purchasing and shopping stages were affected by "price-free, improvised purchase decision" and "convenient mobile payment system and point benefits." After the purchase, "active sharing and repeated purchase when satisfied" and "blocking relationships when dissatisfied" occurred. Second, six consumer groups based on the fashion life cycle are the "Platform lover," "Influencer follower," "Trust builder," "Novelty seeker," "Convenience seeker," and "New designer supporter." Ultimately, small business owners can develop the process of planning and selling fashion products more efficiently.
Global fast fashion brands have been popular and most of them have entered the Korean market. With their success, Korean apparel companies launched domestic fast fashion brands; however, recently they have become fiercely competitive, and consumers are demanding better design and quality and cheaper prices than before. The purpose of this study is to explore consumer purchasing behavior of the global as well as domestic fast fashion brands sold in Korea and to suggest marketing strategies for the brands sold in Korea. The study includes interviewing 61 Korean consumers to ask about their purchasing behavior and experiences. This study found four themes from these in-depth interviews: 1) demand of product glocalization which considers both globalization and localization for better style, quality, and assortment plan, 2) satisfaction with the reasonable price range of fast fashion brands but dissatisfaction with price discrimination among countries, 3) importance of easy, comfortable, and convenient accessibility to fast fashion brands, and 4) preference for good brand reputation related to corporate social responsibility(CSR) and nationality. From these four themes, this study developed the four elements of the marketing mix: product, price, accessibility, and reputation to adapt to a new marketing environment that emphasizes the development of information technology, consumer-centric marketing, and corporate ethics. The findings of this research could contribute useful information to both global and domestic fashion companies as well as consumers.

This research shows how fashion curation service consumers (both fashion and image consultants) reveal different aspects towards a preferred image type among the correlation of fashion curation service usage motivation and fashion shopping propensity. These preferences also included the purchase intentions for fashion display service products. This study surveyed 300 men and women between the ages of 20-30 who were the main consumers of fashion curation services. 'Convenience, fashion trend, and exploratory' increased purchase intentions for fashion shopping propensity, 'information search for utility, entertainment, and personal expression' increased purchase intentions for fashion curation services and 'brand identity, consumer lifestyle, and product information' increased factors for the fashion curation service preferred image type. Consumer preferences varied according to different fashion curation service image type; however, all consumer group syndicated a difference in fashion curation service actions. For instance, fashion curation service consumers preferred a consumer lifestyle image, convenience, hedonic shopping orientation, and personal expression motivation had a positive influence on product purchase intention. However, the shopping orientation of 'fashion trend, practical information exploration, and entertainment motivation' had an optimistic influence on product purchase intentions for fashion curation service consumers who preferred a brand identity image and a product information image.
