  • In this study, the information and communication technology ICT companies, 312 companies, in order to analyze the impact of the effect of satisfaction on the Exhibition and Convention on the impact of Information and Communication Technology Exhibition and Convention satisfaction effects analysis by information and communication technology Convention e-Portal affect the infrastructure system, exhibition and Convention, Convention Industry competitiveness, Convention, Convention Tour Program components to satisfy Convention effect empirically the effect on information and Communications Technology exhibition and Convention industry Convention and satisfaction effects on were analyzed. A result was able to find that information and communication technology goods and technology, tourism technology infrastructure technologies program, e-portal system, industrial competitiveness and technology Exhibition and Convention of Effects. Exhibition and Convention ensure the effect of the base material and environmental factors, these factors determine the product development laid the foundation. Product type defined, you can see that affecting economic ripple effects and satisfaction. Exhibition and Convention can achieve the effect of information and communication technologies to reduce your operating costs.

A Study on the Exhibition and Convention Visitors' Satisfaction Level and on the Participating Companies' Perception on the Performance - Centered on the Busan International Travel Fair - (전시·컨벤션 참관객 만족도와 참여업체 성과인식에 관한 연구 - 부산국제관광전을 중심으로 -)

  • This study is about the exhibition and convention visitors' satisfaction level and the participating companies' perception on the performance. The two topics were approached with integrated model. Accordingly, this study examined how service quality and experiential quality affect exhibition and convention visitors' satisfaction level and the participating companies' perception on the performance, and how the correlation between exhibition and convention visitors' satisfaction level and the participating companies' perception on the performance is affected. The result demonstrates that the quality of experience exerts positive effect on the visitors' sense of satisfaction(Hypothesis 3), while service quality is not statistically significant when it comes to the visitors' satisfaction(Hypothesis 1). When the correlation between service quality and experiential quality, and the participating companies' perception on the performance is examined, service quality exerts positive effect on the participating companies' perception on the performance(Hypothesis 2), while experiential quality is not statistically significant on the participating companies' perception on the performance(Hypothesis 4), When the correlation between exhibition and convention visitors' satisfaction level and the participating companies' perception on the performance is examined, it was shown that positive effect is exerted just like the results of the previous studies(Hypothesis 5), lastly, correlation between participating companies' perception on the performance, companies' satisfaction and company loyalty was examined. In case of the participating companies' perception on the performance, it exerts positive effect on the companies' satisfaction(Hypothesis 6), while company loyalty is not statistically significant (Hypothesis 7). In case of companies' satisfaction, it exerts positive effect on the company loyalty (Hypothesis 8). The results of this study will provide help to increase overall understanding of the exhibition and convention visitors' satisfaction level and the participating companies' perception on the performance, and to provide important implications for the development of strategy for exhibition and convention's vitalization.

  • This study aims to find the significance of the convention-related public organizations workers' cognition about the importance of public marketing activities. As well as to analysize the outcome of convention organization of public marketing activities holding positive, negative effects and the host brands value relationship. In order to strategically maintain the importance of conventions' differentiation marketing and the brands value of exhibition organization, this research is necessary to explore the importance of public marketing activities held by the public value and brand image link here. In this research, On the convention field public marketing activities' arguments were marketing strategy. In order to construct the convention destination's competitiveness and the differentiation of public marketing strategy, it is necessary to investigate the relation of convention organizations' public marketing activities' importance recognization and destination effections, destination brand value. As the results we can propose the implication of public marketing activities can enhance the competitive.

  • This study is about the marketing mix of convention destination, aims to examine convention destination image and loyalty. In order to study the marketing mix more scientifically, this paper select those indexes which can promote the destination image but also can guide the access loyalty of exhibition participants. In addition, in order to understand the influence of marketing mix of convention destination which includes products, place, price, promotion, people, on destination image and loyalty, this research analyses the beneficial effect among variables. Based on previous research, the marketing mix of convention destination export products, place, price, promotion, people, convention image exports Cognitive images and Emotional images. The results show that, assuming that the beneficial effect of convention marketing mix on cognitive images was established partly, the beneficial effect of convention marketing mix on emotional images was established partly, the beneficial effect of marketing mix of convention destination on loyalty was established partly, the beneficial effect of cognitive images of convention destination on loyalty was established, he beneficial effect of emotional images of convention destination on loyalty was established. Based on the results of the study, a comprehensive strategic management on arketing mix of convention destination, played a profound impact on forming the image of the participants and enlivening the convention destination.

  • The purpose of this study is to examine effects of sustainability of convention events on brand equity and customer loyalty. This paper also explores the mediating role of brand equity amid sustainability of convention events and customer loyalty. The four determinants ofsustainability of convention events examined in this study are economic sustainability, environmental sustainability, social sustainability and event sustainability. Brand equity refers to performance, social image, value, trust worthiness, and attachment. The findings are as follows: (1)most sustainability of convention events have a positive effect on each brand equity's elements; (2)all sustainability of convention events have a positive effect on loyalty; (3)brand equity of convention is significantly related to customer loyalty. (4)brand equity plays a mediating role between sustainability of convention and customer loyalty. The findings will not only be useful in improving the structure of sustainability of convention events, but also in enhancing competitiveness in Korea's convention industry.

  • Recently, international convention competition has greatly expanded with the globalization and expand of world economy. As the conventions market has grown, so have the number of places and facilities of convention competing for business, and numerous trade show and the related meetings held the several cities toward world city such as the United States, Europeans Countries, Japan, and Singapore. Convention, in general, are defined as an assembly, often periodical, of members or delegates, as a political, social, professional or religious group. Convention center means the place that hold several social, political, economic conferences and meetings, trade show, exhibitions, and events. Convention center are consisted the several facilities such as meeting room, exhibition hall, event hall. Historically, meetings, conventions, and trade show have been serviced primarily by hotel and convention centers. With the expand of world trade and flow in recent, the conventions, expositions, and meetings industry (CEMI), however, is one of the most rapidly growing industries in hospitality and tourism, and CEMI provides import effect on regional economy and regional development including regional tourism industry. This study focuses on the establishment strategies and location analysis of convention center as a agent for regional development in a case of Yosu Peninsular Area (YPA). YPA is one of the major industrial area of our country, and displays the rapid regional urbanization and social change with the construction such as Kwangyang container port facilities, Yulchon industrial complex, and the extension planning of industrial estate related to Kwangyang Iron and Steel Company, and population size of this area will be reached about two million peoples in 2011. This area, particularly, will be functioned as a major container & export port of our country after the completion of Kwangyang container port facilities in 1988. If the planned industrial estate is constructed, the convention center for conference exhibition, information exchange, and resort facilities for exhibition, international communication will be needed. In addition, resort and leisure facilities for conventions' participants need. This area, therefore, has to make the establishment of convention center for regional development in future. Thus, the major strategies and idea for establishment of convention center as follows: first, this area has requirements for resort convention center, because this area will be functioned as a major export port and industrial district in 21 century; second, in the location analysis of convention center site, Sinwol & Woongchon district, Soho district, and Yongju & Hodu district are selected as developing possible sites; third, the convention center of this area has to consist of two functions such as convention facilities and marine resort facilities; fourth, in order to establish convention center, the selection of main group, financial raising strategies, and the organization of propulsion committee for establishment of convention center are required.

  • The purpose of this study is to identify the factors that constitute the memorable tourism experiences and to grasp the influence relationship between the memorable tourism experience and the tourism destination brand equity and the loyalty of the tourism destination. The scope and method of the research are derived from the survey data collected through the questionnaire survey for foreign tourists who are visiting Korea, the reliability analysis and the feasibility analysis are conducted, and the relationship between the factors is analyzed through regression analysis.   • Korea is leading in G20 summit beginning in 2011 and the 19th United Nations World Tourism Organization(UNWTO) to attract international conferences and meetings. The interests on MICE have been increasing. The MICE, from the mid-l990s, was launched in Singapore in terms of the convention industry leader in Asia, stands for corporate a generic term of Meeting, tourism award Incentive, Convention, and Exhibition. The MICE has been showing many good results as a golden industry such that no pollution has occurred and the effect is very large invisible value can be created because most of the participants in international conference are opinion leaders in each country and they can be Korea brand promoters in their home country after attending the conference and returning to. Korea has been ranked at the world's 11th most-popular destination for international business meetings, confirming its world-class reputation for business events. Korea cities also featured highly on the list. Seoul was ranked seventh globally, while Busan jumped to sixth in Asia and Jeju came in at number eight. Changwon, Daegu, Daejeon, Gyeongju and Gwangju also made their debuts on the Asian list. Consequently, the economic & political effects of MICE industry were investigated and accordingly the revitalization of the global MICE bureau was discussed.

  • This study aims to investigate the relations between the components of memorable tourism experience(MTE) and satisfaction, as well as loyalty. Research method and results of this study are as follows. Using the advance research of memorable tourism experience theory, the measurement scales were developed for the survey. Data were collected from the major cities in Dajeon, Korea between Jun. 1~Jul, 10, 2016. Of the 295 surveys collected, the researchers retained 274 usable responses. Data were used to examine the relations among characteristics of memorable tourism experience, satisfaction, and loyalty. The results indicated that the components of memorable tourism experience comprise nine factors. Moreover, part of the factors revealed to have significant positive effects on the satisfaction and loyalty. The results of this study provide implications for determining how tourism operators should prioritize their business resources in developing tourism programs.

  • Holding conventions and exhibitions are deemed as a highly valued-added services. The conventions and exhibitions industry (CEI) contributes to the development of the region in which the venues are located by creating jobs, boosting the local economics, attracting dollars and increasing tax incomes. At the same time, the international awareness of the region rises after holding an international exhibition or convention. This study investigated the effects of outsourcing services quality that employed by corporations organizing conventions and exhibitions on business performance and customer satisfaction of organizing corporations. It was found that many convention organizing corporations relied on outsourcing services for the most of the process. Given that the staff members of outsourcing companies serve as the major source of services for events, the quality of their services has much effects on the business results of hiring corporations. In this study, major factors influencing the service quality and the importance of the service quality were addressed. And the ideas for effective method for controlling the outsourcing sources were also suggested for hiring corporations and outsourcing companies.
