The purpose of this study is to provide the characteristics and development direction of K-fashion and to systematize the strategic features performed by government agencies, fashion associations, fashion companies, and other companies to activate K-fashion. This research analyzed K-fashion related articles published in major newspapers and magazines in Korea from the late 1990s to early 2017. The results of the study are as follows. 1. The characteristics of K-fashion are as follows: The first is a trendy and sophisticated design with modern sensibilities, unique designs that reinterpret the latest trends with designer creativity, practical and popular designs that ordinary people can wear comfortably in everyday life. The second is functional and trendy materials. The third is excellent sewing technology. The fourth is rapid turnover of products by quick connections among planning, production and sales. The fifth is a lower price than quality. 2. The direction for K-fashion to pursue was the continuous and ongoing development of the above characteristics and the creation of a 'design with the Korean emotion of its 5,000 year history'. 3. The following projects were carried out to promote K-fashion. 1) Utilization of K-pop, K-drama and other Korean wave content. (1) Holding a fashion concert event that combines Idol's K-Pop performances with fashion shows. (2) Hallyu (Korean wave) star's costume support and design collaboration with Hallyu stars. (3) Collaboration between entertainment companies and fashion companies. 2) Nurturing a global fashion branding project. 3) Business support for overseas expansion of the K-fashion brand. (1) Support project for foreign trade fair participation. (2) Holding a fashion brand fair in Korea. (3) Overseas business support by establishing a showroom and design center 4) Business to discover and nurture new designers
A 'Readymade' is an everyday object selected and designated as art. The term was coined by Marcel Duchamp to describe his artistic process based on the attempt to destroy the notion of the uniqueness of the art object: his influence went for beyond the art world affecting all design activities based on creativity. The purpose of this study is to investigate the ready-made technique from an educational point of view. Starting from Duchamp experience and his further influence on the design world, the study aims to demonstrate the value of the ready-made technique as a basic element in the education of young designers. The research method is based on the empirical observation of the results of the same project assigned to forty different students in different universities. The collected results were grouped in four families according to each specific generative method: constructive, conceptual, aggregative and elaborative. These four categories, derived by the observation of the results, represent tangible variations of the same disciplined technique. This flexibility demonstrates the value of the ready-made process as a foundation practice particularly indicated for young designers. These are the main skills students developed through its application to design projects; exploring and reconsidering attitude, recycling issues, new identity to familiar objects, focus on ideas.
The future society requires not only knowledge but also various competencies, including creativity, cooperative spirit and integrated thinking. This research develops a program for integrating mathematics and information science to enhance important mathematical competencies such as problem-solving and communication. This program does not require much prior knowledge, can be motivated using everyday language and easy-to-access tools, and is based on creative problem-solving activities with multilateral cooperation. The usefulness and rigor of mathematics are emphasized as the number of participants increases in the activities, and theoretical principles stem from the matrix theory over finite fields. Moreover, the activity highlights a connection with error-correcting codes, an important topic in information science. We expect that the real-world contexts of this program contribute to enhancing mathematical communication competence and providing an opportunity to experience the values of mathematics and that this program to be accessible to teachers since coding is not included.

In this study, we wanted to apply the creative problem-solving theory of TRIZ to explore the possibilities of applying it in fashion design as well, and to develop a creative bag design so that one product design can be transformed into a form for another purpose. Through TRIZ's 4 invention principles, Local Quality No. 3, Universality No. 6, Nesting No. 7, and Another dimension No. 17, the solution was derived and applied, and the final design was developed, and it was found to satisfy the functionality and usability of 2 types of bag form and apron shape. Accordingly, it was confirmed that TRIZ as an invention principle technique can be fully utilized in fashion design. It is hoped that it will increase the possibility of developing a converged design in the future and be used as a basic example material for designing products that are highly utilized in everyday life.

This study aims to investigate the perception of pre-service early childhood teachers regarding play-oriented education through metaphorical analysis, in order to comprehend its meaning that pre-service early childhood teachers perceive. A questionnaire was used, which asked the participants to express play metaphorically and provide reasons for their choices. The collected data were analyzed using a systematic metaphorical analysis approach. The results revealed that the metaphorical expressions of pre-service early childhood teachers regarding play-oriented education were categorized as instructional methods being the most prominent, followed by environment, enjoyment/happiness, autonomy, growth and development, interactive relationships, child-directedness, the essence of life, interest, creativity, potential, variability, everyday life, ambiguity of beginnings and endings, naturalness, and others. Based on these findings, it is expected that one can attain insights regarding the methods of training pre-service early childhood teachers on how to implement play-centered education in the revised Nuri curriculum.
The goal of this article is to examine the connection between creativity of unconscious and religion. Jung criticized how Freud's approach in studying the unconscious as a scientific inquiry focuses on the unconscious as reflecting only those which is repressed by the ego. Jung conceived of the unconscious as encompassing not only the repressed but also the variety of other psychic materials that have not reached the threshold of the consciousness in its range. Moreover, since human psyche is as individualistic as is a collective phenomenon, the collective psyche is thought to be pervasive at the bottom of the psychic functioning and the conscious and the personal unconscious comprising the upper level of the psychic functioning. Through clinical and personal experience, Jung had come to a realization that the unconscious has the self-regulatory function. The unconscious can make "demands" and also can retract its demands. Jung saw this as the autonomous function of the unconscious. And this autonomous unconscious creates, through dreams and fantasies, images that include an abundance of ideas and feelings. These creative images the unconscious produces assist and lead the "individuation process" which leads to the discovery of the Self. Because this unconscious process compensates the conscious ego, it has the necessary ingredients for self-regulation and can function in a creative and autonomous fashion. Jung saw religion as a special attitude of human psyche, which can be explained by careful and diligent observation about a dynamic being or action, which Rudolph Otto called the Numinosum. This kind of being or action does not get elicited by artificial or willful action. On the contrary, it takes a hold and dominates the human subject. Jung distinguished between religion and religious sector or denomination. He explained religious sector as reflecting the contents of sanctified and indoctrinated religious experiences. It is fixated in the complex organization of ritualized thoughts. And this ritualization gives rise to a system that is fixated. There is a clear goal in the religious sector to replace intellectual experiences with firmly established dogma and rituals. Religion as Jung experienced is the attitude of contemplation about Numinosum, which is formed by the images of the collective unconscious that is propelled by the creativity and autonomy of the unconscious. Religious sector is a religious community that is formed by these images that are ritualized. Jung saw religion as the relationship with the best or the uttermost value. And this relationship has a duality of being involuntary and reflecting free will. Therefore people can be influenced by one value, overcome with the unconscious being charged with psychic energy, or could accept it on a conscious level. Jung saw God as the dominating psychic element among humans or that psychic reality itself. Although Jung grew up in the atmosphere of the traditional Swiss reformed church, it does not seem that he considered himself to be a devoted Christian. To Jung, Christianity is a habitual, ritualized institution, which lacked vitality because it did not have the intellectual honesty or spiritual energy. However, Jung's encounter with the dramatic religious experience at age 12 through hallucination led him to perceive the existence of living god in his unconscious. This is why the theological questions and religious problems in everyday life became Jung's life-long interest. To this author, the reason why Jung delved into problems with religion has to do with his personal interest and love for the revival of the Christian church which had lost its spiritual vitality and depth and had become heavily ritualized.
The Korean Ministry of Education has emphasized the convergent ability for human resource cultivating the development of science and technology in the future. Based on this, Korean STEAM education aims to enhance students' interest and their understanding of science and technology as well as to develop students' convergence thinking and problem-solving skills. Through the camp for gifted students, students are generally introduced to produce self-directed outputs in order to solve the problem in everyday life. In this study, the author aims to find out whether the gifted high school students' creative leader competency and STEAM literacy changed after they experienced STEAM-based camp. 517 gifted students from 52 high schools in the Metropolitan city region join the camp, which is focused on generating student-centered outputs for problem-solving in daily life context. Before and after the camp, the creative leader competency and the STEAM literacy of participants were tested and compared. From the result, we found that the gifted high school students' creative leader competency and STEAM literacy improved after participating in the STEAM camp. In particular, all the sub-factors except for the social value pursuit domains in the social characteristic area of creative leader competency and the areas of creativity, respect, and communication in STEAM literacy increased. Educational implications will be discussed.
Affect is intensity and quality that are generated as the physical body senses the outside world. Of experienced affect, notions that are granted meaning and interpretation are emotions. Affect theory distinguishes emotion and affect and by focusing on affect, it provides methods with which to analyze physical body responses and changes and it presents new possibilities to performing arts research that uses the physical body as a medium. Nong-ak is art that concentrates mainly on the occurrence of affect rather than 'representation'. Nong-ak is a performance type in which sound, color, texture, and physical movement overlap and exist in a synesthetic way. Here, physical things such as instruments, props, costumes, and stage devices are gathered together with non-physical things such as rhythm, mood, and atmosphere around human bodies. The physical body is stimulated by these things, displays tendencies that suit performances, and becomes 'the body without an image' as it immerses itself into the performance, acting while displaying 'quasi-corporeality'. The body, which moves automatically as if without consciousness, appears more easily within groups. To transition individuals of everyday life to 'the body without an image', Nong-ak executes the group physical exercise of 'Jinpuri'. Such physical exercise builds up affect by increasing nonverbal communion and communication and brings out the creativity of individuals within mutual trust and a sense of belonging. Affect and emotion stirred up by Nong-ak act as confirmation and affirmation of the existence, vitality, and ability of one's self and groups. Such affirmation recalls Nong-ak as a meaningful and important value from group dimensions and perceives it as a performance form that should be preserved and passed on.
The aim of this study was to survey the perceptions of the elementary school teachers on the smallscale chemistry(SSC) following its training session. The teachers participating in the survey were 266 teachers in the Gyeongnam province. They were given a questionnaire that focused on the nine areas of the SSC: Needs for the teacher training and its application, its benefits, issues of safety and danger as well as treatment of environmental pollution, its economic efficiency and the development of investigative skills. The designed questionnaire was checked by an authority, and the responses to each question were tallied and analyzed. The results are as follows. The biggest problems of the traditional experimental methods as rated by the teachers were, in the order of importance, the preparation time, the legal liability of teachers for the safety and accidents, financial issues, disposal of the experimental wastes and the lack of relevant data. Since most of the teachers had not experienced the SSC lab programs in the field, they responded positively to the questions of need for its introduction and training. The implementation of the experimental SSC lab programs should proceed in the following order: introduction into the textbook, teacher training program, after-school education and the invitation of instructors. The most useful materials for the SSC program were CDs, videos, books and various printed materials, in that order. The responses regarding benefits of the SSC program included its simplicity, convenience, time savings, diversity, qualitative and quantitative aspects, integration into the regular class and use of toys. In particular, the teachers mentioned the increased safety due to the small amount of experimental reagents needed and the durability of plastic instruments. The familarity from the use of everyday tools as well as easy access to and the low-cost of the instruments were other important benefits. The teachers in general rated the educational content of the program highly, but many also found it to be average. Some pointed out the lack of sufficient discussion due to the individual or pair groupings as a potential shortcoming. The potential for development of problem solving ability and improvement of skills was rated positively. The number of teacher who rated the development of creativity positively was just over the half. As for the area of improving investigative skills, many found its assessment difficult and confusing because of the lack of its systemic definition and categorization. Based on the findings of this study, I would like to recommend the application and a wider dissemination of the small-scale chemistry lab program into the elementary school science curriculum.

This study examines the effects of the introduction of artistic and technological factors on science problems for the activation of creative and integrated thinking. We developed problems consisting of STA(problems that introduced technological and artistic factors on the College Scholastic Ability Test) and TA(problems that introduced artistic factors in a technological context). Subjects of the study included 60 high school senior students in Daegu. Their problem solving processes for STA were examined. Four students were interviewed using the retrospective interview method. Also, after finishing TA, the problem solving processes of four students were examined. The results of the study are as follows. First, students selected scientific context more than artistic and technological contexts. It was found that students preferred short length problem in order to solve problems in a short time. Second, students were more interested in artistic and technological contexts of STA than scientific context, but felt that they were more difficult. Moreover, students were more interested about the context of TA than scientific context. Third, irrespective of the given contexts in STA, students have a tendency to solve problems through relatively brief ways by using core scientific knowledge. This can seem to mean that there is a possibility to stereotype the problem solving process through repeated learning. Logical thinking and elaboration were observed, but creativity was not conspicuous. In addition, integrated thinking was not observed in all contexts of STA. Fourth, science related problems of TA showed similar results. However, in problems related to everyday life, students made original descriptions that they based on their daily lives. Particularly, in creative design, original ideas and integrated thinking were observed.
